If you're going for ethereal there is a personal shield generator that spawns in a multi shop terminal within range of start and a buckler that spawns in a chest on the bridge on the high point of the map. Grab those two, and you'll be able to take a hit or two from lesser whisps without loosing hp.
In addition, opening a portal to the bulwark foundry waives the need to even hunt for crystals on the second map. Basically; if you can get through the greater whisps, you win!

Considering you can get a personal shield generator and a buckler in the first level, and essentially skip the second, yeah, it is. The only difficult part is avoiding the whisps before gettting the two items and defeating the greater whisps after you get your items. (also, artifact of spite is in play.) You can save your use item for the whisps to produce a sufficient distraction (the backup,) provided you don't find yourself using it earlier due to the lesser whisps

Prismatic trials are an alternate gamemode where you compete against other players attempting to beat two stages as fast as possible! So that you don’t have to sit in a circle, defeating the boss instantly completes the teleporter event. However, before you can activate the teleporter, you must first destroy 3 of 5 crystals which spawn randomly throughout each stage. Trails are seeded, so every run will be the same, except for critical strikes and procs, which are still rolled on a per hit basis (sadly). Once you’ve completed your run, your score will be submitted to a live leaderboard which shows the username and times of all people within 10 spaces of you.

a) use the Gorag's Opus way faster, like before the first transport mode. because you're cancelling animation anyway, bonus attack speed does nothing
b) you don't need to climb the hill to hit the 2nd crystal s1 (the one far from tp). stay low and b-line
c) you can use a canister thrown before bosses spawn to instantly kill a small vulture. This also allows you to line up both blazings in one shot
d) when killing the beetle queen, use transport mode. it leaves you on the ledge slightly, and one shots
e) you can exit the tunnel and use a cannister on crystal 3 s2, saving the time it takes to aim and fire at it
and then there's 5 more seconds which idk how to save

After playing a multiplayer game and then jumping back to prismatic trials, the mobs were changed. Instead of Jellyfish on stage one the mobs were Void Barnacles. I was playing huntress.
This got me thinking, is there some way to manipulate the RNG after a multiplayer run to get better equipments or lets say red whip from the first TP instead of Ignition Tank or goat hoof from the chest infront of the TP. Is it unethical, yes. Is it possible, remains to see.

although yeah pylon with crowbar does seem faster but white drops boring
if you can’t effectively do the slam bazaar (which is very hard and like still a 50/50), jump down and just grapple like the top ledge. Save your punch for as late as possible.

Get the Preon accumulator at the start whenever you can. It helps against the vagrant and then play chicken on the second stage, start the second portal then run to the top and wait for preon every time as its burning beetle guards. Which are super annoying

I just tried going through the bazaar as both Acrid and Huntress, and while there is certainly room for improvement I don't see it being possible to use that route to get a better time than my current 1:41.81
Xenon has 1:20.82 on Acrid so I assume there's something I'm missing with that

the problem with that approach is that you have no idea about how hard the next seed will be and what its artifacts will be
it could be easier but also harder. And the fact that sky meadow is the second stage here really really helps
