Slicing winds vs eviscerate is a matter of offensive power versus defensive power, and merc can make the most out of each one, especially with the right build

So why would you use the Corpseblossom if you could use other better healing? Its capped at 10%hp/ps, and instant healing would be better because it isn't delayed.

Similar to why Artificer isn't very popular, Captain isn't as god tier as the other survivors because people treat him like another run n gun like Commando or Huntress, where he's actually a much more slow and methodical character
