Good but also bad. I stopped playing it since it had annoyances like random lag spikes that come and go and other things like swapping between items being a pain. Good because it's got great mods like the calamity mod. Calamity mod has amazing music, and other mods I've never played and never will play also have great music and I frequently add them to my music playlist. I don't know what it is that makes terraria mods have such good music.

Actually, pretty sure they've gone on record saying they don't care if people edit their saves, and that's why it's as easy as it is to do. Also the fact that you can reroll an infinite amount of times means that specific mechanic is allowed to act that way. I know for a fact that at least re-rolling five to six times is totally feasible with the amount of coins you can get legitimately, so limiting it to just one is still actually limiting legitimate players.

since it has 1.0 proc rate and shoots a lot of bullets per second, it ends up proccing a lot of on-hit items and if you compare just equipment, it has the highest dps since it shoots all the time. Dont personally pick it often but I can see why some people love it.

1500% dps, highest of all equipments by far (10 times higher than royal cap, excluding fuel cells, gesture, crowbars and bands) and 15 procs per second so good synergy with proc items, it doesn't take a lot of money as well so basically it's the best equipment in the game

Rebar works against everything. You can stand totally still with that -60% speed and have no problems hitting anything.
All combinations absolutely shred enemies anyway, so I don't really care that much about dealing less damage than the others. The added reliability is easily worth the loss in damage.

Other options can be good. The equipment beacon seems like it has lots of potential and it also activates squid/fireworks. Stunning beacon might be good in combo with the big airstrikes. You hit 8 times per shot so the heresy item that replaces your r could also be strong.

@vestal juniper would recommend using the lunar item "Purity"
It lets you stack blight really high very fast and its pretty easy to get because of the lunar refill mechanic.
Blight is also affected by Spinal tonic and shaped glass a lot more than poison
I haven't used bite all that much but those items work amazingly well with blight

use m1 in between other skills so that it's always on cooldown. Try to get some mobility items and keep moving around. Dont believe people who say snapfreeze is bad.

A build that excels at refilling hp. MulT has both high hp and damage reduction while having lots of on-hit capability.
Consider: powermode MulT with capped crit, scythes, double nailgun, with one aegis/desk plant
maybe add a hellfire tincture and razorwire to make use of the HP/barrier pool
Or a behemoth, to hit all enemies in a group at once, proccing multiple times per needle
This is doable on any survivor that has a high rate of fire or similar rapid-proc ability.
