while using the green item reforge pool, i had only three white items. A crowbar, energy drink, and some item scrap. I took the reforge and it took one of my item scrap(though three item scrap popped up as i threw it into the pool) and gave me the item, keeping the crowbar and energy drink but gaining the new item(It was a Predatory Instincts).

Pay attention to the item bar on the screen. You can see that I only have one white item scrap, but as I activate the reforge pool, three white item scraps are taken, and I am given the Lepton Daisy in the pool.
EDIT: I will be attempting recreation using the legendary reforge pool as of 1307
EDIT 2: IT ALSO WORKS WITH LEGENDARY REFORGE POOLS.
My theory is that the overall code that trades/reforges items, such as 3D Printers and Reforge Pools, can get confused with each other in this particular situation.
For example:
Let's say a 3D Printer is simply a 1 Item Reforge Pool, and a Reforge Pool is simply a multi-item 3D Printer(at least, that's probably how it looks in the code).
Because of this, my guess is there is some weird contextual error the reforge pool undergoes when confronted with this dilemma, and will take the one scrap as if it were a 3D Printer, and since the Reforge Pool requires multiple items, it doesn't really have any idea what to do and simply duplicates it.
I have known for a while that item scraps count as items towards reforging, but I was not aware they were able to duplicate themselves in reforge pools.
(No logs to show for this one) On startup, he game always lowers the overall sound volume of the computer until a restart, which makes say a discord call at the same time basically inaudible.
So sometimes with the mercenary, if you hit one of the weird bell enemies with your basic attack and then use an ult, you get stuck in your ult and you cant die.

the game screen froze and when i press ESC it just shows the last image on the game screen
i was leaving bazaar through the portal after getting kicked by the guy that sits there and the game image froze after i interacted with the portal
i can access the ESC menu but there is no ingame sounds, although the menu buttons do make sounds, no skills can be used
i was at stage 22 or something around that with a fuckton of items
update: no more sounds from menu buttons. the game is completely mute
I have Forgive me Please + Gesture of the drown/fuel cell for enough cooldown reduction to have 100% uptime on 3 spawns (after the FMP hotfix) At the start of the stage I think they got yeeted off the edge and won't respawn again. I can't press Q and I'm trying to get another equipment drop to see if swapping equipments and swapping back will fix it.
Edit: It did not fix it. Can't get FMP to spawn any more on this stage.
Edit 2: Upon entering the next stage it is working as intended again.
Edit 3: It was working in the next stage up until the final boss fight. They weren't spawning again and I was left without them. Same thing could have happen where they got flung off the edge, not 100% positive.
Anyone got the bug when you play with friends in a lobby their cannot press join or some time later they can? But they cant join to the party. Just passed to me in this case, when i join to a lobby alone with other players online, works fine

for some reason every time I complete the game on multiplayer when I'm not the host this happens. The game locks up, causes a big white screen and for some reason the player name/class is uhh..well see for yourself.
Gorag's Opus when picked up while holding an Ocular HUD and Gesture of the Drowned will cause it to make an infinite sound loop. It did not activate the effect of Gorag's Opus. This was done on Captain in the Abyssal Depths as stage 7 or 8. Date occurred August 21st 2020.
Hey there fellas. There is this annoying bug where projectiles just bounce off/go through targets without doing any damage in multiplayer. It makes survivors like acrid impossible to play.
Not sure if anyone has found this yet, but you can put a used Dio's Best Friend in the Scrapper and it breaks. Scrapper continuously repeats the animation and sounds but doesn't produce any Scrap
I had a bug during the final boss where i went through the floor. After that i killed him with the Mercenary R from the exterior. Not really a bug , more like a glitch . It happened when i dashed with the mercenary against the floor

It would seem mired urn with engi sentries will tar-bukake you despite being friendly normally
If you shoot Captain's secondary at a beetle that's still coming out of the ground, it won't get stunned. Seeing as they still take damage during the animation it doesn't make sense for the stun to not go through, imo
that's the intent, as dunestrider's bigg succ attacks everything in range

If you have a Gesture and get a Preon it'll fire two shots the first time despite having no fuel cells
Hey, this is probably a known bug and I may not be messaging the right place but it is gamebreaking enough that I thought I'd let you know. The cauldrons that give you red items, it can take Green Scrap. However, if you only have 1 Green Scrap, it appears to give you 4 more scrap from nothing and gives you the Red item for 1 green scrap
It's known and has been fixed in the public test beta that's out atm@toxic mist

After a long, time i started playing again because the game is full released now but its unplayable for me because after 13-14 stages the teleporter freezes at 99% and there is no boss left. only the bosses health bar with 0 life.
A bug has shown up on the last level before mithrix's teleporter (Sky meadow I think its called) in which a player loads into the level and is unable to move or use any abilities, obviously resulting in instant death from any monsters. Extremely frustrating when having a good run only to die from literally not being able to play

also while playing swarms money is the same but each monster gives half there normal amount, so u dont gain more money, its just harder
that's intentional, normal bosses spawn twice, so mithrix should too. The money issue is really only a problem when swarms gets bugged, which happens

hey so my friend was in the void fields and the monsters got dio's but after he killed them they didn't loose it so they just kept respawning over and over again

Moon countdown started before we defeated final boss - had a large number of getures + royal capacitors, possibly defeated before item stealing animation finished? Boss didnt die however - was still very much alive whilst running.
im having an issue when i make a lobby with my friends and when we start only the host is in and the others are spectating. does anyone know how to fix this?
After killing Mithrix, shouldn't it not say "Killed By: The Planet" ? It does say "Victory" in the top left, so why does it still say killed by?
in anything above eclipse 2 (teleporter radius -50%), the radius for charging the void fields is also halved, while the safe area remains the same. This allows you to be safe from the constant damage but not charge the cell. Not sure if this was intended
Was fighting the final boss on monsoon in multiplayer (I was captain, friend was artificer.) My friend used artificer's alt M2 to freeze the boss during his spinning AOE lines attack, and after the freeze wore off, Mithrix repeated the attack again. Then, after attacking a few times, he moved a bit and started the spinning AOE attack AGAIN. He kept doing it repeatedly, not using any other attacks for about a minute. We ended up dying, so I'm not sure if he would've kept going or not.
I doubt this is relevant, but I hit him with Cap's utility skill while he was frozen.
Void Reavers caught in the death-blast of other Void Reavers, emit death blasts with no visual que. Lost a 70m run to find this bug.

Another bug is that sometimes dolls just stop you from throwing them out? It happened on commencement after I fell off the map, i was unable to place any more dolls and i had none active - very annoying considering it made my build of 60 minutes completely useless against an eclipse bossfight
I have had this happen a couple of times, I'm not really able to articulate how it happens but some walls are a '1-way' and some are actual walls that prevent player movements.

There are, what I think, two bugs with captain that I've seen in 1 playthrough with playing them, 1, is that when doing the acrid event, you take no damage whatsoever from the environment, and two, when dying, it displays "Commando" and a white overtone to the loss screen. I don't know where to post this so I thought here would be best.
Oh, and it says I was killed by a gunner turret

When using the lunar seers in Newt's shop (the things that let you pick the next stage you go to) if you then go to the Void Fields, you don't go where you paid for.

Not sure if this has been reported, but (at least in a multiplayer game) if you have item scraps when you trade in items in Newt's shop, it will not charge you other items, even if you have less than the required amount of item scraps. For example, when trading in 3 white items for 1 green item, if you have just 1 white item scrap, then only that 1 item scrap will be traded and you will receive the 1 green item.

Captain is unable to activate Gorags Opus. Consistent in multiplayer haven't tested in solo runs.
I don't know if this is a bug or not, but sometimes when I'm playing as Acrid, my poison blast will sometimes just bounce off of an enemy without doing any damage or having the poison proc. The ult also sometimes does this with the jellyfish, where it will hit them head on and then stop about half an inch away from them and continue to chase them without actually hitting. I don't have a recording at the moment, but if it happens I'll again I'll see if I can grab a clip of it. I've attached the output logs if that helps.
Not sure if this has been reported yet, but I was on the boss level with another player and there were many cauldrons that ate items, but did not return anything. This was the same case with the lunar pods on the other side. I saw these fake cauldrons and pods, but my friend (who was also the host) did not see them.
Because of the softcap on Forgive Me Please, it becomes useless if you throw all 3 into a void (Sky meadows is literally the killer for this), none of them respawn at all, effectively making the item itself useless for that stage. Please, either fix this or remove the softcap, kthx

After a billion or so, currency goes negative. Probably some power of two.
Teleporter is happy to actually take all your money though, I think. It goes from negative towards 0, then jumps back into the positive billion and so and then goes towards 0 again.

It's a 32-bit signed integer, so the max value is 2,147,483,647 and then it overflows to −2,147,483,648. Probably should be a 64-bit unsigned int

And yeah, I'm a programmer, that all makes sense to me. It seemed to jump at a billion-ish though and gaining a billion actually takes like... a minute or so so it might be 2**30, although why it would I'm not sure.

Hm, I was pretty sure it happened to Moonmoon near 2.1 billion so I assumed it was a 32-bit int overflow. I could be wrong though. Anyhow I should stop spamming the bug report channel

Monsters become unkillable (?)
Oh NVM it abruptly became killable like idk many minutes later after not taking any damage. Probably from healing idek. Anyways its last sliver of health; that tiny bit was taking WAAAAY longer than like any other enemy even though it displays less HP
Buying items with negative prices literally gives you money (you can buy it while you have no money and then you get negative money which is just uh... 2**31 + abs(price)). The timer on the chest doesn't really make sense eventually.
Also on Siren's call when the Solus Probe is spawned as the teleporter boss and has negative health you can go through the teleporter without defeating it

so, this may already be a known bug but, was playing an artifact of command run with some new friends for some jokes
and sequenced myself and got 25 gestures of the drowned and 48 fuel cells with tonic, and after dropping the tonic, i ended up with this somehow
it was infinitely hilarious, and cause it was an artifact of command run my friends beat the final boss without much problem, but iirc tonic is only supposed to give one affliction if it rolls negatively after the buff ends

You're still able to open a Rusty Key chest that appeared on a stage even after scrapping the key on that same stage. (You can open the chest WITHOUT the key)
Seems to work similarly to how the beetle guard stays around (until he/she dies) even agter scrapping the yellow gland thingie.
I need help! I can't play the game because always the teleport stucks at 99% after a few stages. I always play with a friend. Boss health bar says 0 hit points left 😦
I was playing with friend and on first loop siren's call we got scavenger as our boss and he fell off and ended up below the map and we had no way to kill him while he was under the map. We were using too many friends to play with five people but I feel like that shouldn't have made a difference

The scavanger fell off the map, DIED, then came back to life UNDER the map
we think he may have had dio's before falling off the map but that doesn't excuse him being un hitable event with royal capicators
The boss had 0 hitpoints and i didnt see anything under map, in formus i see that many people face this gamebreaking issue
Hello. I just ran through Monsoon with Captain. I decided to Obliterate myself for the steam achievement, but I did not receive it after being obliterated.

i found out that captain cant active gorags opus and can make host crash when having gesture of the drowned in combo with gorag opus while playing as captain
When playin MUL-T leech seed dont actually heal for 1 each but only heal for half of the total seed ( having 6 leech seed on MUL-T should heal 6 per hit but instead only heal for 3 )
I've gotten a few bugged boss spawns on wetland aspect -- if the teleporter is near one of the large, dark walls at the edge of the map the boss will sometimes spawn outside of the map. I've also had magma worms immediately prioritize turrets across the map and run very far from the teleporter zone, effectively hamstringing the boss fight.

On wetland aspect, and with enough movement speed, you can glitch out of the map at this location (give me a sec to take a screen cap)

i found out that captain cant active gorags opus and can make host crash when having gesture of the drowned in combo with gorag opus while playing as captain
Using Gorag's Opus with Gesture of the drowned may cause this earrape bug. My teammate, who was playing as a captain and had to pick up Gesture was not able to do anything but move around and shoot without dealing any damage.

I've been unable to play multiplayer since the game has launched into 1.0 - before that I had hundreds of games without issue. It drops me after 1-30seconds with the following message:
I've tried restarting, reinstalling, logging out of of steam and back in (with the authenticator app), needless to say - its impossible to play MP now. No idea whats going on or how to fix it. I was able to connect to a dedicated server run by someone who gave me a console command. DM me and we can debug it. No its not a pirated copy (only reason i could think of why the Auth would fail).... I can't find many folks with this issue....

@ruby robin fun fact money is stored as a uint but the code that displays it it takes an int, so it's actually just a visual bug, you still have whatever money you would have.

Also, I've noticed that when I'm just trying to play with some randos while looking for a server, the server list always shows games that have already started, despite me having the "show started games" box unchecked. Something tells me that that... isn't supposed to happen

When in the Void Fields in Eclipse Level 2 (and onward, I'd assume), the reduced teleporter distance also applies to the Cell Vents, however the visual bubble doesn't get smaller. Might also happen with Focused Convergence, but I haven't checked.
Not sure if this is just an issue for me but every time I launch RoR2 since the 1.0 update, it launches minimized and my mouse is locked to the center of my screen. I can't move it at all until tabbing into RoR2, then it functions normally.
sky meadows i have ran through twice both times my party (besides me who was hosting) have been stuck in a falling animation and cannot do anything at all.
I found a map bug, in the tunnel area on abyssal depths, there's a hole by a wall where you can fall through the map

So Gesture of the Drowned completely breaks Gorag's Opus. It doesn't activate, but makes the activation sound like 5-10 times a second.
Don't get opus on captain atm its bugged.
I had the game more or less freeze on me upon trying to enter the Celestial Portal at stage 23 on PC. The screen stayed black for about 15 mins before I tried messing with it, managed to being up the menu when I pressed a few keys but it would just freeze again whenever I tried to press continue. Allowed me to move my cursor after hitting ESC, but every time I hit continue it froze up again
hey so idk if this has been addressed already, but in this section of the game (the kind of foresty one i forgot the names) i found an oob by going near the edge with acrid, and using his slam move (shift key) while looking mostly up and ended up wedging myself in here.

@minor grotto it's intended to steal life from anything nearby to heal you, just like the Clay Dunestrider. Drones, Turrets Happiest Mask minions, the beetle guard, enemies and players suffer the damage + debuff it gives so it can heal you.
thought so it jsut gets annoying when the queens gland becomes even more useless also wouldn't that be more of lunar item because of the gain something but suffer at the same time?

When playing as mercenary in multiplayer the character freezes in the jumping position

im not sure if this is intended behavior or not, but when a void reaver is killed, and its death detonation kills a second void reaver, the second void reaver will also detonate but theres no warning noise or animation
Captain: Wanderlust was broken for me. I counted 10 stages and the achievement didn't pop up. After I died, the achievement in my logbook flashed like I had earned it, but it still has the lock on it.
I believe you need to beat mithrix or obliterate to get wunderlust after visiting 10 environments. at least thats how it unlocked for me.
Dying to a magma worm, or while its nearby, will continue to play its rumble loop into the rest of your runs until you restart the game
The Second modifier on Eclipse mode is Teleporter radius -50%, this is also effecting the void area and I'm not sure if that is intentional.
mired urn causes aurelionite from the halycon seed to aggro you instead of enemies, although he does no damage to you
merc got softlocked during multiplayer match and couldn't be hit and was suck in eviscerate's animation, poor fellow.
Shown this on death. My fellow players said they couldn't see my stats when cycling through, and I couldn't select continue. I had to click "quit to menu" to leave.
I had three green scrap, (or whatever its called, you know what I mean) and put them into the red cauldron in the bazaar, rather than taking the three scrap and two of my other green items it showed me putting in five scrap despite only having three, giving me the red item and taking none of my other greens, I tested this again with only one green scrap, and once again it took only the one scrap and gave me a red item. I feel like I wrote this well but to put a bow on it, I can turn one lepton daisy into an alien head as long as I find a grinder and the newt altar.
anybody have the bug where your friend joins the lobby but cant ready up?
don't know if this has been reported yet, but i instakilled mythrix before he even started taking my items because of a god run i had and I didn't get any of my items back. This caused me to die on the run back to the dropship.
@crisp flare in the most recent hot fix update, they stated that they’re looking into the scrap problem
Found some strange terrain hitboxes on sky meadow. My shots can't pass through these invisible walls, though I can walk through them just fine. (Notice how my shots are exploding mid-air)
The blockage is two-way.
When DIO is used up. You can still select the used up DIO at a scrapper and then the scrapper just keeps trying to scrap it but nothing happens and you can't use that scrapper anymore

When a void reaver kills another with it's nuke the others still go off but don't leave any warning.
As Captain, the doppelganger from Artifact of Vengeance doesn't show up for me, but the environment still changes. This has happened 2 times so far in the run I'm doing, which I have a screenshot of.
@minor grotto not really, because in the tooltip it doesn't state you lose anything and it really isn't a negative effect for you per-say. It's just a negative effect for everyone else around you but it's a positive for you. Plus if it were to really be a lunar item, we'd be seeing Lunar Clay Dunestriders (or something equivalent) and Lunar Beetle Guards (which don't exist to my knowledge), and the negative effect would be MUCH worse than having enemies and other players suffer around you to heal you.
As mercenary, attack speed makes the shift ability faster but drastically decreases the distance to a point where it is barely even a dash

sound bug. used beads of fealty to obliterate. defeated boss, fade to black, my equipment was the voodoo puppet with gestures of the drowned and sound carried over to main menu. had to restart game to fix
Mercenary's shift goes farther than it should. Patch notes mentioned nothing about it.
not really a bug report but i've noticed that projectiles are behaving very strangely. in the run i'm currently on as Acrid, i've had some of his Neurotoxin projectiles completely bounce off of enemies, and Epidemic occasionally bugs out and sticks to an enemy before launching in a random direction and doing absolutely nothing. i've played mostly multiplayer since 1.0 so i'll try testing it out in singleplayer after this run
When captain takes strides of heresy, he still can’t use it when his ship isn’t around...... if that made any sense?

during my brief testing, it seems to work fine in singleplayer. i wasn't sure if latency was a culprit because i've played in the same conditions prior to 1.0 and projectiles worked fine in multiplayer
I think infusion can be blocked if the enemies have teddy bear, potentially
I am playing as engineer on eclipse 3, with transcendence and infusion, and enemies in the void has teddy bear, syringe, and headdress. I am using stationary turrets. I am only getting my red dots 30% of the time regardless of who killed it.

Trust me, me nor my turrets kill guarantee a red dot, but Im not maxed, so it does appear occasionally

I got stuck here in a shop run. fell into it and the hitbox wont let me get out, but it's not ground, so I can't jump. Used my feathers already. There's no way to get out, at least for engineer.

So I was in a multiplayer game and we had reached mythrix when my internet went out. My companions continued to the boss and got to stage 2 when I was able to reconnect. I reconnected and two of the tanks mobs spawned and proceeded to kill me. My friends couldn't get out of the arena and the mobs couldn't die, so they couldn't get out of stage 2 of the fight.
on this map (forgot what its called), when i ping with middle button, it sometimes just pings close to in front of me. it happens pretty consistently

The bubbles in the Void Fields (the area you have to stay inside) are not working properly on Eclipse 2+, they display the normal size area but the actual size is 50% less as well.
yeah, I had that problem too, but I have a suspicion that it might be intended, nerfing the void(even though its kinda overboard with how much space you get). At least the bubble itself still supports breathing
also, you would do so well with a death mark rn, holy crap, bless for a bauble and deathmark from this void

^ This nearly killed my run since it was based on using forgive me please but then it just completely voided itself. Maybe make the dolls work how players teleport back up after falling off the stage to the nearest bit of land? Or just remove the softcap :)

Hey yo, I wasn't able to get a screenshot, and I'm not sure if it was reported before, but Eclipse lv2 with it's teleporter radius affects Void realm cells, and there's no visual representation for it. It shows the full range but it only charges when you are within the 50% radius
mired urn attacks friendly drones. in the case of engineer, his turrets can debuff the player. maybe not a bug, but a bit annoying.

Hi, i think the artifact of swarms is bugged, it often happens that the artifact doesn't work, to fix the probleme the only solution i have found is to restart the game
even if it's intended, it really should be adjusted slightly so that friendly allies don't attack you, or at least disable the slow effect in multiplayer
Acrid's Bite is unable to proc bands, even when it does more than 400% when enemies have less health. Probably due to the abilities' damage being mutiplied rather than the base damage value.
Anyone experience the bug with Loader/Merc where you dash into the corpse of a bell creep and get stuck? If not, my friends and I discovered thats a thing

the big jumps when dashing+jumping from slanted terrain are part of the physics engine and are unlikely to be changed
I've found occasionally after several restarts with the Artifact of the Swarm active it simply doesn't work any longer, despite still being enabled, and requires a game restart to see it's effects again.
not sure if it matters but difficulty has always been on Monsoon and after a bit of testing it bugs out when using the challenge of the mountain it seems
the lifebar was 0, but the boss worked basically
so this happens if you're frozen while walking/running and you don't jump. jumping stops this (pls don't fix it :()

Not sure if this is intentional but the Eclipse 2 modifier (50% tp radius) also affects the CHARGING radius of vents in void field (not the safety bubble), requiring you to stand almost directly on top of the vent to charge. Even double jumping will get you out of range

So i died either between stage 3 and 4 of the Mithrix battle, or at the beginning of stage 4, but i had Dios best friend, so when i revived but he didnt start giving me back my items and i was stuck with the expended dio item until i died
Just tried to scrap a used Dio's Best Friend and it broke the Scrapper, making it constatly do the animation without spiting out scrap, is this working as intended?
Rallypoint Delta. the boss spawned and attacked me. as a commando, i slided (with shift) away and somehow slipped into a locked container, could not get out. eventually the boss also slipped through the wall(??) and i killed it. still could not get out and had to quit.

Game takes a while to start up and it shows a small text box with 2 options that takes up like a 10th of my screen and has really small text.The box is titled says starting failure from what I can make out.Clicking either option closes the game.I cannot take a screenshot of it for some reason (im in windowed mode).When the box is there,Im at a screen that has my profile name on it with the numbers 13:02 on it and the option to create a new profile.If I go from that screen to the title screen,I cant select any of the options.The box takes up enough space to cover the options(singleplayer,multiplayer,etc).I think I cannot take a screenshot because the playing via steam thing does not appear.

A long bug which is not yet patch...
While a mob of Portal falldown to the map, it doesn't die, it's not teleport to the floor... So it stucks all game and you've no choice to let you die or leave the game... Really boring after 2h runs...
Futhermore, I would like to see a patch also for items falling down of the map and we can't receive... Can you do something please...

Great, I was about to report a bug(?) on the test branch, but I see the channel is closed.
Anyway, I have an equipment drone with the scanner item, and it spams it a few times (with the newly reduced cooldown on the test branch), but then just stops and never uses the item on that stage again. On next stage spams a few times again, and again stops, and so on.
EDIT: Now it started using it again, so perhaps it only uses it when "threatened" but before it didn't even during teleporter event. Either way for the scanner it probably should be used even out of combat.
Is it a bug that on Eclipse 2 in the Void fields for the Cells to have reduced radius along with the bubble to not reduce with the radius?

A few hours ago I was playing Rex and I spawned in the ground in scorched acres. I could not move, or get out. Good thing I was playing multiplayer so the other person could do the teleporter event for me
I had 15 repulsion armor plates and it seemed like i was taking a ton more damage than i should have, idk if i was just imagining things or not but i think it might be a bug

well kipkip has 3 medkits and a rejuv rack and corpsebloom, all of these lead to increased healing which with a high hp pool plus other items he gets, it can be a lot of healing
medkits are negated by constant bullying with shots

So in a long enough run mithrix becomes literally invincible. He's been stuck at this "HP" for like 10 minutes of me endlessly wailing on him.
integer overflow is bound to happen since the values are always increasing with time. The only way to fix it would be to either have a hard cap before the 32 int limit, reduce the scaling amount to compensate or manually make everything wrap back around to a positive value. It happens with your money and the cost of interactables too

to further elaborate, the max value for a 32 bit signed integer is 2,147,483,647 so when the game tries to go over that number, it overflows and goes to -2,147,483,647 lke in your screenshot @rotund blaze if you're curious at all as to why it happens :p
right it's 2^32, but when i faced the allow worship unit that overflowed it was still able to lose HP. Mithrix cannot lose HP anymore.

he lost HP for a bit, took like 5 minutes to get him that low, but AFAIK it's not moving anymore for 10 minutes
Um i wanted to talk that whenever i play this game , sometimes i get disconnected and my wifi adapter is off. I have to troubleshoot and get it back on again. Its really wierd, it never has happened in any other game . Only this game , this is completely at random but has happened for around 5-6 times now.
Idk if anyone sees these but I was playing for high round commando, 22 rounds 110 minutes. Entered bazaar, bought shaped glass, went to hit portal to leave and my game froze. I can hit esc while in the menu to let me gain control of the menu, and I can select to quit to menu or desktop but if I select resume it freezes again
It may be the game seizing up a bit because there may be things dying and too many particles/effects happening. It happens in my games but around round 16

Something that I'd like to mention, The log book I obtained for the Gilded Coast doesn't show the environment model. It's been like this since before 1.0, and I don't know if anyone else has encountered it. Maybe it's unique to my game, but something similar happened with the Ukulele model as well. (which has been fixed in my game, thanks Hopoo Team!)
anyone else having issues with crowbar activation on captain? it generally doesnt work on elites and only works on normal enemies about 1/4th of the time
playing on monsoon, i have 14 crowbars after a sequence, it would be 100% noticeable if it was activating consistently
Acrid's Regenerative healing isn't consistent with its description, instead of healing 10% hp over 0.5 seconds it only heals for 5%.
Definitely just experienced a glitch with Captain. I was fighting Mithrix on his final phase, I was able to use my shift ability (the orbital probe) 3 times in a row after pressing shift. I didn't have any items that allowed this, and I was able to do it when he took everything from me. The cool down would start once I pressed shift, but it didn't start cooling down until I used all 3 "uses". I also wasn't able to use any other ability/my primary fire until I used it all up.
When spectating Captain he shifted into this, no idea why it happened
I had the green TP items pop out when I activated the TP despite the boss still being alive, the boss was 2 Overloading Solus Control Unit, linking logs as well.

so i dont really know if this is a bug or not but whenever i start building attack speed on the merc my movement speed and shift seem to get very slow to the point where my shift only moves me about a inch (its what it feels like)

MUL-T can regenerate a half of his HP by changing Overloading Elite Equipment with his R.
Overloading Elite Equipment gives your character a shield for the half of your HP. If MUL-T with low HP changes his equipment on it and changes it back with his R, he gets a shield and then that shield converts into HP.
I.e. MUL-T can hold R if he have Overloading Elite Equipment for 50% Max HP insta-healing.
I was playing merc and was fighting enemies dashing and stuff then this happened

You cant charge the barrier halfway till the visual barrier, I dont know if its because of eclipse lvl 2 or because of focused convergence. Dont know if its intended to be smaller or its actually bugged, otherwise just a visual bug

I recently found a glitch with Captain. If you get the lunar item that replaces your Mouse1, your orbital strike will get however many charges you have in that attack. I was able to get 12 strikes per stack

Funny glitch, if you keep pressing SHIFT as Acrid and hold M1, you attack really fast. This gets fixed when you start a fight with enemies.
the final boss' log entry seems to be bugged (i got killed by it a couple times, the kill count is correct though :^) )
every now and then in sky meadows when a brass contraption dies parts of there corpses elongate into oblivion, pls fix.
I'm not 100% sure about this being a bug or an intentional design choice, but engineer entering target painting resets cooldowns for his mines, at least for spider mines.
Mithrix' 3rd phase is broken. Took him down to like 20% hp and he only returned me one item. Then tesla finished me.
Siren's Call is full of visual glitches. If you go to high places the world starts to pop in and out of existence, some egg spots cause the same effect.

If you did this with Acrid, makes sense. Poison cannot proc on-hits, which is what is used to return your items
Defiant Gouge stopped working on shrines and didn't spawn any enemies

After some more testing, it does it regardless of speed and thickness if you're close enough to the terrain. For example, it'll go into the ground if you're standing still, aiming down and not jumping.

that is intended, both bite and maul have low vertical hitboxes, so this is not a bug really. Get to work on either the tentacles or just jump on the main body
With the chaos artifact enabled, parents damage themselves every time they attack (if I had to guess it is most likely because they use an aoe attack right in front of them)
Hey not sure if this is known but with the Elite Equipment "Silence Between Two Strikes" wich grants the aspect of lightning on MUL-T, switching your main weapon and equipment always get you back to full health

Using Milky Chrysalis with Artifact of Enigma gives permanent flight. I picked it up as a drop via Artifact of Sacrifice. I'm using Rex, and am also playing with Artifact of Dissonance.
It cancels after going through a portal to the next level.

Using thermal harpoons (bringing up target paint mode) resets the cooldown of spider mines
no matter what the current remaining cooldown is it's put back to 8s
not tested with pressure mines
very easy to reproduce so hopefully footage not needed since my game just crashed
recycling used dio glitch the machine or any unidentified items
So I dash and quickly used my R on a mushroom and got stuck here. I don't really know how this happen, but I hope this helps

i was fighting the final boss in standard single player mode, he killed me, when i resurrected with "Dio's best friend" i got stuck like in the image in a sort of jumping position, could do nothing except activate the equipped item and take damage, i had multiple dio's best friend but dying more times haven't change anything
Hey so I got the new boss item from the clay dunestrider and it started ticking in my ally aurelionite, causing it to aggro me, I wasn't taking any damage but it was trying to hit me with lazers groundpound etc.

I've had a bug in several runs where I can no longer use certain equipment at seemingly random intervals. I have had this happen with forgive me please and gorag's opus, they sometimes work earlier in the run and stop working, sometimes they don't work at all, but after they stop neither of them work at all anymore. Other equipment I have tried works fine, it seems to only apply to equipment added in 1.0.
fmp should not be thrown off the stage and gorag is fixed next patch
I'm not sure what caused this, but my friend and I were heading towards the end boss fight, and they said I was frozen in place, then I noticed they were as well. We could still see each other's secondary fires, shift abilities, and they could see my bustling fungus circle. But the boss fight would never start. Could not send messages in the chat either.
I assume somehow the connection died? Although, they left and rejoined the game to see if that would do anything with no problems whatsoever, but it didn't do anything, and I never got the chat notification that they ever left the game.

Game crashes minutes after starting a multiplayer match. I've logged over 20 hours and even played last night with no issues. Everything will be running fine until sometime before the five minute mark, the game freezes for a brief moment and crashes to desktop with no warning or error message. This has been repeated various times, and includes rejoining a game that's already 30 minutes in. I have tried switching hosts, and have also tried the following:
-Updating Risk of Rain 2
-Updating GPU
-Verifying integrity of game files
-Uninstalling and reinstalling Risk of Rain 2 onto another hard drive (in case hard drive failure was the cause)
I haven't tested yet for single player, but if it still occurs the game is unplayable for me
How high is your graphical settings?
They haven't changed since I first installed the game back before 1.0, but I lowered them after the first couple crashes with still no luck

Not sure if it's intended but just had a run where hitting Mithrax in phase four didn't refund items, seemingly because he had a very large barrier (I had accidentally sequenced early in the run and had fifteen Personal Shield Generators). I'm assuming that, if this interaction is intended, damage must be done to his HP pool to give back items, but that's such a terrible interaction that I can't believe it's anything other than a bug.
Other not-sure-if-intended issue was that Mithrax's barrier does not seem to be treated like a barrier, and is instead treated like raw health. Mithrax was regenerating 12k HP per tick with Medkits and/or other healing items, and the heal was being applied to his barrier, making it impossible to whittle down to his HP to gain items back. Functionally this must be a bug, because the player character's barrier is not affected by heals from those sources, so there is no reason for Mithrax's barrier to function otherwise.
Turns out 'dreaming of wealth' (I.E. paying Lunar Coins to guarantee the next area to be the Gold Golem area) doesn't work if you go to the Void. From what I understand, it functions fine if you dream of a normal level, but not with Aurelionite

don't know if this has been brought up beforehand, but I noticed that when using the primordial teleporter on Sky Meadow to go to the final boss, if you get a blue portal and take it, you loop back to the first stafe after exiting the bazaar, instead of going to the last stage
@normal summit intended. If you align the primordial teleporter with the planet or take the blue/gold/celestial portal, it loops you back to Stage 1 instead of going to the moon.
in my case, we had left the teleporter aligned with the moon to go face the final boss. we just wanted to go one last time to the bazaar to get some extra items.

Understandable. At least now you know that if you take the portals instead of the primordial teleporter (aligned with the moon), you loop again

@plush summit yeah, but the behaviour doesn't really make sense. taking a portal to make a stop at the bazaar before going to your next stage, whatever that stage may be, shouldn't change the choice you already made by interacting with the teleporter to loop or to go the moon

Selection box for survivors seems to be put under the white outline when hovering over the survivor icons, comparison with the difficulty selection one.
Just did a run which had some weird major issues. I had Swarm enabled, but it never came into play. The other two artifacts I had on were fine (Sacrifice and Command). I did the Trial of Kin, and despite showing up in the list of active artifacts, Kin did not apply either. Trial of Honor functioned normally. My allied Aurelionite was constantly targeting and attacking me, whenever there were no enemies around. Went to Mithrix, and his dialog was duplicated, but there was still just one Mithrix. Moon detonation countdown happened started while he was still alive, at around half health.

On the public test build, at the very start of mithrix's fourth phase i was able to damage him before he started to steal my items. While he was doing that i kept hitting him with merc m1s with the appropriate "immune" message showing, but after the stealing animation ended the "moon detonation imminent" timer started, with the boss still alive and the escape destination showing, i tired to reach it and i could indeed exit the boss arena but i died getting there. In the screenshot mithrix can be seen still alive in front of my character while a void reaver attacks me and the escape text shows. It happened on a monsoon run with no artifacts and no mods installed.
when i got the aurlioninte ( big gold boi) and started the teleporter if i stood in the middle of the teleporter i would push me through the ground and it was very startling at first time it happened and didn't know what happened. After a few teleporter events i came to the conclusion that if you stand in the center of the teleporter and the aurlioninte spawned it shoved me under the map.
is the double spawn thing supposed to work on mithrix too? he literally juggled me to death lmao i couldnt even fight back at all

I can't tell if this is intentional, but the teleporter boss music for Sky Meadows is the same as the Titanic PLains teleporter boss music, and Sky Meadows used to have its own unique boss music before the 1.0 update.
So I kinda got locked when I used the merc regular m2 ability and froze in place, unable to die or to move or to use any abilities. I could only use my equipment in this situation and I had to just quit the run. This will probably never happen to anyone else but this was a little strange.

I just experienced a similar bug as mentioned above, where gesture of the drowned + forgive me please would not activate at seemingly random intervals. I was unable to use the equipment and gesture of the drowned was not throwing any of them out
hey my friends and i were fighting mithrix and once he sucked our items the moon countdown began but mithrix was still very alive
So, is Mercenary supposed to be shafted by gaining more Attack Speed items? His I-Frames become shorter, the length his abilities travel (except for Eviscerate) are all shortened considerably. On Gamepedia it says he's suppose to benefit, but the only thing benefiting from it is his basic attack.

Died to a Magma Worm, and the Magma Worm's burrowing sound effect keeps playing despite being back to the main menu. It even keeps playing after starting a new run.

Had a bug happen where if a second person in a multiplayer game picks up a Gorag's Opus (both people had Gesture of the Drowned, so they would activate immediately) this will cause an irreparable bug into the run that would cause some people to hear a never ending hitting noise and cause others to lag or outright be unable to move despite the game moving on their screens. This will inevitable ruin the run as, even if the person switches out the second Gorag's Opus the bug will stay, as people either die to the lag or the next level won't even load. The first time this happened we weren't sure and the second time we confirmed it was when someone picked up a second Gorag's Opus that caused this glitch that seems to almost be affixed to the run itself. Game works fine when the run is ended and a new one is started, so there are no lasting problems to the game itself.

Encountered a softlock involving visions of heresy and the imp overlord. If you kill him while he's teleporting with the visions and are doing the teleporter it will say the boss is at 0 HP and not complete the teleporter.
any news on if the game crashing due to unity will be fixed next patch?
Got a softlock with starting the final boss Mithrix don't know what caused it but i think its not having all "teammates" (i.e. any drones, turrets, or beetle Gaurds) in the arena when you try to start it? It's happened to me in 2 runs back to back
When using Mercenary and having barrier from either topaz broch or Aegis, Helfire Tincture does full damage to his own barrier as if it were an enemy. if the damage would take off more than the remaining barrier it continues into the health before resuming normal player damage once it hits shield or health. tested on engineer and it doesnt effect himself or the turrets either.

There's a piece of missing collision here on Titanic Plains that you can get stuck in if you have no movement skills.

in bulwark's ambry with the vengeance artifact, i noticed that when you have insane move speed with huntress, they basically just jump off into the void and continuously do that for the rest of the duration of the place, not sure about the other survivors though

Encountered an odd crash/softlock when loading the next stage (from Siren's Call to Bazaar) as Commando. Gameplay is 100% frozen and won't load, but the pause menu still functions. Prior to the crash, on Siren's Call, various game elements failed to load, including: Chat UI, obtained item popups, various sound effects, and all enemy death animations. No crash dump available since the game didn't traditionally crash.
I can't... actually post the output log here. It's over 400,000 KB of the same error over and over. Best I can do is screenshot what it's repeating.

Projectiles tend to bounce off enemies in multiplayer, reports of this have only started since 1.0, and someone had the theory of it being caused by captains Taser bouncing, causing the other projectiles to have a similar issue. Unsure if that's the case but I'm pretty confident its a bug since reports only suddenly came in, and it wasn't an issue before a large content update, which usually means a bug.

Hey I found a bug with the void and the Mercurial Rachis, whilst you have it on or its active the only way to charge the vents is to stand still in the center of the safe bubble because you can't charge the vent on the edges of the bubble. I tried it on multiple characters and the problem is still there. :/

Just lost a run due to getting stuck in the portal on stage 5, i walked into the path of the portal when changing from moon to planet.

When you use Acrid jump in the air from the buble to mithrixs ring/arena you get stuck like this. Luckily got unstuck after 2 minutes.

does anyone know about the bug with scrap material and lunar bazaar item pedestals ? I just had one green scrap and traded for a red item but the game thought I had 5 so it just used the 1 and let me keep the rest of my items
I was just scrolling through to see if CottonSwag's bug had been reported to do so myself. I do have some additional information, though:
- You still need the amount of items to qualify for operating the shrine (3 whites, 5 greens)
- It eats the entire stack of scrap when it happens, even if you have more than required
you know how the chrysalis makes you slowfall if the duration ends but you're still in the air? using it while you're slowfalling doesn't undo the slowfall, so you're stuck in a weird half-flight
teleporter event not finishing; had a glacial void reaver horde of many. stuck at 99% and not finishing
Had a visual bug where a void reaver explosion killed another void reaver. The second void reaver did not display any sort of explosion so I walked over to chest in the area and died suddenly.
is our run just over if we get the "teleporter not finishing charging" bug?
Again I have instantly died in a single frame. I went from full barrier and health to dead. In a single frame. Output log says OSP was triggered but it doesn't seem like that saved me.

i beat him many times but in the logbook it shows a lock icon saying that i need to defeat this monster in first. Note: i beat him on singleplayer and multiplayer, monsoon difficulty
When you defeat a monster it shows in the logbook a black silhouette, meaning the next time you beat one there is a chance it will drop a log right? But if it's still locked as in the person never fought the enemy (or like in my case where it may be bugged) it will remained locked until you beat it, meaning you can't collect the log no matter what until the game registers that you have beaten it at least once. For me, I have beaten Mithrix many times before (on singleplayer and multiplayer too) but it still shows it locked while other enemies such as the Twisted Scavenger who I have beaten and a black silhouette is shown of it in the logbook instead of the lock icon.
My friend used an equipment drone when Artifact of Enigma was on.
He then selected Gorag's Opus, and it stopped working for some reason.

If you get Headstompers and fall off of an object (not jump) and then use Arti's float. It spews out the particles of the Headstompers instead of her jetpack particles.
Im sure someone has already said this, but in my experience none of the lunar pools work with scrap still except for the red pools on the last stage
I dont know if this has been said before, but Mythrix's monster log seems to be not working, but also in the regular enemies section instead of the boss section.

Game takes a while to start up and it shows a small text box with 2 options that takes up like a 10th of my screen and has really small text.The box is titled says starting failure from what I can make out.Clicking either option closes the game.I cannot take a screenshot of it for some reason (im in windowed mode).When the box is there,Im at a screen that has my profile name on it with the numbers 13:02 on it and the option to create a new profile.If I go from that screen to the title screen,I cant select any of the options.The box takes up enough space to cover the options(singleplayer,multiplayer,etc).I think I cannot take a screenshot because the playing via steam thing does not appear.If someone has a solution please share it as ive been unable to play for a while (i havent wanted toplay that much but missing out on multiplayer with bros is melting my bones please help.
Playing online with friends, one person tried a gesture-forgive me please build which glitched out and eventually just stopped activating. I don't know if this also happens on other items with gesture and auto-activate but forgive me please is probably the easiest to replicate. He wasn't host so I don't know if it's a lag thing. Switching items did not solve.

I'm not sure if this has been reported but there's a bug with the scrap items, when I used one of those pools to sacrifice green items for a red item, I only had 1 green scrap but the pool "took" 5 of them even though I only had one green scrap.

If you managed to get an Eccentric Vase in the run, and you can get to the platform outside the barrier. Use the Vase and it will create a tunnel, getting into the barrier will cause the Mithrix to spawn, but you can easily get out of it via the tunnel.
Guess it's because the Barrier is not blocking anything from outside, so it created a tunnel which is normally impossible here... And also you can hit the inside bosses with any ranged attack, while they can't because they are blocked

Stage 58 onwards, if money fluctuates to the ten's billions it shows negative money, then it drops back down to hundred millions
So i smacked 4 brass contraptions and got stuck. I couldn't move and using movement abilities don't do anything.

Playing with 3 it starts to get real buggy in character selection, 3. player can't see chosen character and always gets shown the wrong loadout. Restarting and repairing the game was done by all 3 of us.
Currently when playing engineer there is a bug with the Dome ability when it interacts with the Mini-Mushrooms. When the mushrooms use their ability and it hits the dome; the circle will go directly to the ground with no ground effects outside of the red circle and will still do damage.
Artifact (swarm) will reduce the health of the monsters but the spawn rates are what they would be like if the artifact wasn't even turned on.

Hi i've been playing mercenary a lot and i noticed either when you get a dozen of items or when when you get to 4-5 stage your 3rd ability the dash gets shorter range for some reason, ive been wondering is that caused by a specific item or is it just a bug? 🙂
logbook was absent in the void fields. have not collected it.

@fleet merlin the range is affected by attack speed, I'm pretty sure its fixed in the beta.

I don't know what exactly caused the commando umbra to live forever, but I think fire damage killed it while in the strides of heresy form and now he won't despawn
Going into Engineer's Thermal Harpoon target paint mode HUD causes the cooldown timer to be reset on his M2 Secondary Spider Mines. Since the cooldown is 8 seconds, you can effective never be able to lay mines down if you're constantly using the harpoon launcher.

@lapis sigil if you use artifact of kin, only one monster type can spawn, and there's a chance that it chose beetle or something, and the first spawn was jellyfish, it wont show up because kin will only allow a beetle to spawn. might not be a glitch, just a funky mechanic

im having an issues with No sound and glitchy at the beginning of each level. it eventually comes back and smooths out after a few mins of playing each level but its annoying to glitch around and have no sound and no controls. I tried un installing and re-installing the game, updated all drivers and still didn't solve the issue. This just started a few days ago, first couple of days the game played great. No other system changes or issues. All other games work fine.
I and friend just kill Lunar's Shopkeeper and try to go back to portal around stage 25-26 and the game froze. black screen. but can press ESC button and i choose resume its go back to froze. Then my friend that is host exit and my game go back to Intro like where you open the game.

Used Shift in to a Brass Contraptions corpse got me stuck in a endless cycle of blocking in suspended animation stuck in place. This happened twice in the same run in the 9 wave realm you unlock Acrid. It happened back to back both times dashin in to Brass Contraption corpses. First time I got out after 1 min the second time we gave up after a way to long time passed.

There seems to be a bug with the interaction between Forgive Me Please and Soulbound Catalyst.
Basically whatever you did to prevent them from creating an infinite loop that breaks your PC if you have a gesture (Thanks for that quick hotfix btw) works by limiting how many can be spawned at any time right?
Since forgive me please doesn't despawn untill after it has landed on a surface and procced your on-kills 8 times, if you throw them off a cliff you're softlocked from using the equipment unless you drop it and pick it back up.
Or at least, you're soft locked for just long enough to get swarmed and die.
My PC setup has dual monitors and the game has become completely unplayable now because the mouse is not bound to the monitor that the game is being played in. I can freely click outside the game onto my other monitor, which causes the game to lose focus and freeze me in place until I click back in. I've tried fullscreen mode and windowed, and placing the game on both the left and right monitors to no avail. Is there a launch option or other setting I can use to force the mouse to stay confined to the single monitor?
I tried to login to ROR2 and my original save file was corrupted and i can't find a way to revert it, i say online that the devs can get my save file back

My guess is that the game is trying to delete that thing before moving on to the next map, but it keeps failing infinitely and caused softlock

Bug with Mercenary's dash & brass contraptions. Seem to be getting stuck on their corpses in some way? Not the first time I've seen this bug and I've personally only seen it with the brass contraptions. I do have more of the after clip as well if desired. I survived multiple waves of enemies while stuck because the game registered me as constantly attacking and therefore getting leeching seed procs constantly. Solo this is a softlock but with friends they can do the teleporter without you and you're free the next stage.

luckily it fixed itself after about 30 seconds by teleporting me into the arena
i beat the game and have the achievement on steam but the game crashed just after the credits popped up while i tried to skip the credits and didnt get the captin or the items unlocked

@ornate saffron that's a common happening with Mirns Urn, if you or a mate got Beetles Gland the Beetle Guard will also try to attack you unless there are enemies around because you damaged him in the first place with Mirns Urn (since it steals life from every character around you, friendly and hostile)
The aurelionite bug has been the game for several patches now
IDK if notified but if you sequence your items and you get any of the bands and you casually you get randomized to one of them you will lose the band buff (at least for the level I guess?)
Fuel Cells seem to break recyclers very often or something else is going on since i have one use of it per stage and then it just wont work anymore
The only way to fix this currently per stage is to find another equipment and swap them out and you can use it again,.

Hitting brass contraption corpses with either the Shift or R nearly always result in getting stuck mid-air immobile and unable to use abilities or items.

when trying to get the vengance artifact in the current prismatic trial, whenever a shadow is killed, the reliquary is healed to full, I assume that's because of the artifact of Death, but it's really annoying because it makes it impossible to finish the level

I don't have an image, but when I was playing Captain and picked up a Visions of Heresy it caused my orbital probe to have 12 charges instead of three. Didn't get to look at it more cause I died soon after
Unlocked '...to be left alone' and 'Captain: Wanderlust' both in one run. Acrid was available after the run ended but after restarting the game both Acrid and the captain's unlocked load out were locked again. Steam achievements show that I've completed both achievements along with time stamps, but the in game achievement system still marks both as undone

When your old war stealth kit procs and you have celestine buff from wake of vultures, the invisibility lasts until your celestine buff is gone. This saved my ass multiple times since I was basically invincible for a whole lot of seconds, but I think it's not intended and generally not a great interaction.

I just spawned as acrid, and a fire beetle was already spawned in front of me. I did not have enough time to wake up--I was burnt to death before I had control lol
swarm is no longer spawning double spawns after first stage - occured 2x b2b in monsoon solo with only swarm artifact active. mobs are still 1/2 hp, just reduced spawn, confirmed by starting the teleporter boss and only 1 boss mob was spawned on stage 2, problem persists for the remainder of the run.
You can use one green scrap to get legendary artifact in the baazar betwen times (same goes for green item)
There's a weird bug with engineer where his harpoons just aren't firing, then they go on cooldown
Probably mentioned before but the running sound in the game is pretty buggy. IE: 'running' while in the air still adds the running sound effect or the running audio sounds like it's behind you instead of coming from your character.

Joining multiplayer does not work on Arch Linux using proton 5.0.9. i am not using any custom kernels rn, but that has not fixed issue, and it has worked fine before, so i assume it a game bug
if you're too far in the game (stage 30 etc.) and you run artifacts command, swarms, sacrifice, and kin, and let too many items spawn, you will fall under the map.

Rusty lockboxes aren't requiring or even using carried Rusted Keys. I was able to open them without having a Rusted Key. I noticed that the Keys weren't consumed when I had them as well.

I was unable to use Gorag's Opus when I was playing as Captain. The other person in the multiplayer game could hear the use sound effect, but it would not activate or use cause it to go into cooldown. It was working on all other characters I have tried in that session. Is this a common problem?

After obliterating in the scav ending in multiplayer (2 players, the other one was a engineer), that white filter appeared on my screen, and the name says "hopooo" instead of "DeadKper", also I was playing with artificer, not commando, don't know what happened, I pressed space a second before the end screen and was charging the secondary attack (the plasma one) if that does something, don't think is a serious bug but is a bug nonetheless
@void locust Yeah, I can attest to this myself. I'm on Debian Linux and I encounter the exact same issue when trying to join a multiplayer game when using Proton 4.11-13. It just crashes to desktop.
friend got this end screen, playing on loader, and should have had 150kish points. before this, there was some sort of repeated bug with brass contraptions(?) involving rapid-fire clanking sounds and immense serverwide lag
I was 25 stages in and on Sky Meadows. After using a Newt Altar I activated the Primordial Teleporter aimed at the moon, completed the fight, and went through the Blue Portal to the shop. I paid 3 Lunar Coins in order to go to the Gilded Coast, and when I went through the portal outside the shop my game sort of froze? It was just black. I hit Esc on my keyboard and the pause screen popped up while working just fine. I could access the settings and quit the game and stuff, but when I hit resume it would just freeze. The game was still responding though. Hitting Esc returned me to the options. I could see myself in the background standing next to the portal too the entire time after hitting Esc the first time.
I guess activating the Primordial Teleporter while it is aimed at the moon but going to the Newt Shop and paying for the next stage to be somewhere else breaks the game?
Edit: Tried it again but didnt get Gilded Coast as one of the two stages to choose, and it worked fine. Maybe its just Gilded Coast that causes the game to basically stop

Acrid being thicc is a common issue for a lot of stuff, so here is another one!
If acrid fires the crowdfunder down, the shots fail to land and instead hit acrid himself! FUN!
Example: Brilliant Behemoth helps to visualize it. If I aim down, the shots will hit acrid instead and just be nullified.

Intended but not in that sense. Merc can “slam” most flying enemies by doing that into the ground or a wall. However, that can happen as well...
If you do it right, you can two shot or even one shot the alloy warship unit. But since there is no respawn for enemies that are out of bounds... you are out of luck. Better off taking the tele and leaving.

If you have one (and only one) scrap (be it white or green) and have enough item to trade (so 3 whites or 5 greens) in the primordial soups in the bazaar , the game will consume 3 or 5 scraps whilst only having one

Just ran into an issue with Captain while fighting against Mithrix. I brought up my R (Special) skill (to summon the healing pulse on one of the ramps) just as we were brought into the cutscene for the boss fight, and, noticing it didn't get placed, I tried again, placing the first on a ramp. I then tried to summon a second, and it completely locked me out of any actions that I could take. I couldn't get out of the UI for the R (Special) skill, which meant it locked me completely out of attacking during the final phase of the fight. My allies died, and because I couldn't damage him anymore, I followed suit shortly after. (I assume it had something to do with preventing action during the cutscene, and suspect that it didn't cancel any actions I was currently taking.)

For as long as I can remember, H3AD-5T v2 has had a bug where you can get its unique jump particles to trigger constantly while in the air.
This is done by holding the jump button while midair without having jumped (walking off ledges being an easy example). Lowkey, I think it looks badass but it’s definitely a bug.

If Mercenary starts moving while in the middle of using Laser Sword, the swinging animation gets cancelled. Since the hitbox is still stuck to the sword, this almost always makes the attack miss.
Mercenary's Laser Sword causes the camera to jiggle slightly. This isn't disabled by turning down the screen shake scale, and is surprisingly disorienting.
I haven't seen this reported (can't think of a good search term), but I'm aware of two classes that can get stuck in a weird attack loop: Mercenary (saw it in coop) and Loader (saw it in solo). My guess is that the character gets slightly embedded in the level geometry. It isn't permanent (you can move very slowly and will eventually snap out of it) but it certainly does weird things.

On multiplayer while gaining exp from money after pressing the teleporter, I went around collecting more money. I ended up collecting over 500.000 dollars, that got taken away from me at a speed of 300 dollars pr sec.
We ended up having a 30 minute break mid run just for the money to trickle away. And no, disconnecting did not help.

Is it intentional, that the enemies in Void Field can survive the end of round kill by having Dio's best friend? They stand around passively after reviving. Then they only attack you after you attack them.

Only happens on multiplayer, only fix in-game notable is that if you get frozen, it allows you to play again as normal once the debuff expires

on bulwarks ambry, falling off off the map results in players being teleported back up beside, but not on ground, making them fall infinitely too their death. teleporting back up also doesnt reset Hopoo jumps, meaning there's no way to escape the fall loop. this seems to happen pretty consistently, enough to notice a pattern.

In a 2 player game on easy, the primordial portal told us we were going to the moon and sent us back to repeat levels.
Was playing on Eclipse 6 when I got Grovetenders as my teleporter boss on Siren's Call even though they can't spawn on that stage without the use of the dissonance artifact or some other means. There was also a Grovetender that was already spawned into the map when I spawned into the stage.

This has probably been mentioned, but Gorag's Opus just doesn't work on captain for me or my friends when I'm with them, it will make the noise, but won't activate or go on cool down. Great when paired with gesture for maximum ear rape
Anyone else having issues in multiplayer games while not being the host with the mercenary exposed passive not working?
idk what causes it, but occasionally i will spawn into the map in a falling animation and cant use any of my abilities. I can still interact with things like chests, and i was able to use my recycler.
sooooo, somehow I spawned mythrix twice when playing as loader, when I grav'd up to the boss area, I tried to grapple into the arena, got stuck on the edge for a sec and couldn't move. I then grappled down again, and it let me into the fight. after that two bosses spawned
I found a bug where i got stuck dashing but i couldn't get hit, i sat here for about 3 minutes, I can also use my equipment when it comes up (i'm playing online if it means anything)

Connection issue bug. Sometimes when I join a lobby, or others join me, I/they black screen and are booted from the lobby to the main screen. Reconnecting usually works but there's a long black screen
If you toss Forgive Me Please off the edge of the map 3 times, you can't use it again until the next level. I have had this happen automatically the instant I spawn because of Gesture of the Drowned on a few occasions. This could prematurely end a person's run for no reason.
I've got to say, I never knew Engineer was this broken. There's a staggering amount of geometry that you can shove your turrets inside. The worst part is, they usually have full vision and combat capability while completely invulnerable. Activating Milky Chrysalis a second time while benefiting from its slow glide down (first use running out of time) causes the player to walk around normally while also having the Chrysalis's air movement boost (jump button)

Projectiles are bouncing/sliding off enemies. Flame Bolt, Neurotoxin, and Slicing Winds are examples. I believe it’s due to not hitting an enemy directly in it’s center, instead of its sides.
Flame Bolts are also bouncing off the ground and walls, instead of exploding on impact.
Greetings. I've several bugs or very strange features to report, but sadly I have screenshot only for one of them.
- When Brass Contraption dies, it creates this lines to the infinity below.
- When you get 70 Old Guilliotines (kills elites above 90% health), and 100 Crowbars, elite overloaded enemies are not getting executed. Instead you deal normal damage after 90% hp threshold and need to take all shield out to execute enemy.
- If Void Reaver killed mid entering animation by implosion of another Void Reaver, its implosion zone would not be seen or heard.
- If Alloy Worship Unit is killed by Void Reaver's implosion, its pposition will still be calculated and pointed at by red arrows in teleporter event (doesn't prevent entering teleporter).
- Using double jump when being thrown by booster will not allow to change directions other than directly backwards, or change speed value other than opposite or 0.
- Captain's hand stops pointing animation, if you hold LMB to point third blast of Orbital Probe, and then wave hand, when you release LMB.
- Engineer's guns won't give Engineer bonus health from kills with Infusion. I'm not sure, if it is actually a bug.

Eclipse 2, with the 50% reduction in teleporter radius, this also affects the void fields prisons but isn't visually communicated, so staying near the outer half of the bubble will keep you alive but doesn't charge it
really confusing, I was dancing around the outer edge of the bubble killing enemies for 3 minutes only to realize it wasn't charging

At the end of a 2-3h ish solo commando monsoon run, artifacts of command/sacrifice/swarm activated, when reaching the spaceship to escape, i think i used a slide that got my char under the ship ramp, got frozen, and screen faded to black.... forever. i could sometimes make the cursor appear by clicking, or escape. i could hear the sound of escape options being hovered by the mouse, but not see the option. At the end only escape would show the cursor, but no more menu sounds. I had to force shut down the program, and cry over my failed mastery achiev ....

I've noticed this bug way before this patch and not just in void fields. It seems to only happen on the melee survivors. To me it seems as if certain mobs, specifically Brass Contraptions for the most part, die and their corpse remains invisible, but able to be hit by melee survivors attacks and damage abilities.
Visions of Heresy might be bugged or just broken. using it one arti with double bands allowed me to instakill everything with only goat hoof, double bands, and monster tooth. Hungering gaze also proc'd the double bands, despite the tooltip telling me it only did 120% damage
Sirens call has quite a lot op disappearing textures and objects. There is this rock in the cave that is only visible from one side and on the right side of the map (when viewed from the direction of the wall/cliff there is an area that makes all textures/objects disappear while you're in it.
Since the newest patch I have gotten instakilled at least 5 times and I'm a bit frustrated, understandably. As Captain I had an Overloading Worm spawn literally on top of me as I stood on the teleporter and ofc died instantly. As Huntress I had nearly double max health via barriers from Aegis x2 in the Void zone when I grazed an Imp Overlord's bleed spike and went to about -600 hp.
I've been playing since the first patch and I've never had this problem before. In fact, since the newest patch I've yet to see OSP proc once. With the way Mithrix is right now I've been trying to get a build going to delete him as I can't beat phase 4 on monsoon and I've gotten close, but each time I've been one shot like this and it's tiring.

Probably been reported a ton but when doing Eclipse mode on the second modifier of it if you go to the void fields the reduced Teleporter/Cell size doesn't show up visually, so even though you're inside the cell and not taking damage from the environment, it doesn't actually progress you further in charging it.

Got a question. After installing a good deal of mods, I got back to look at my logs only to see that I have 0 environ logs unlocked and 0 monster logs, save for the beetle lemurian, stone golem, and mushrum. Anyone know what this is???
@zealous chasm Certain mods can completely reset your monster/environment/survivor logs for some reason. If you wanna get your unlocks back you're best off just using rorcheats' unlock all button or something of the like.

While on the final level I noticed that there was a Lunar Pool for a green item on that island, that didn't actually display the item it'd give me. I tried using it and nothing actually popped out. Have there been reports on that already or is there some intended purpose for that I just don't know about?
is there a bug about not spawning monsters in the void vents cause i had a run with no spawns
So I have a report, anyone else having this really weird issue where Acrids spit will just...bounce off enemies sometimes? Like, not even consistently, just sometimes his spit will just bounce off an enemy and fly in a different direction. Not doing any damage or inflicting poison.
And I know it’s not me because my friend had this same issue when I played with him.
We had 2 people with "infinite rockets" in the sky meadows. after we defeated the teleporter, if there were no enemies on the map all of our rockets just went straight down to this location
(if you look at the picture closely you can see all of the rockets flying down)

If you get an alloy worship unit or a solus control unit ghost with happiest mask, the solus probes they spawn are friendly, but don't appear as ghosts
I'm not sure if this has been reported already but if a void reaver kills another void reaver with it's explosion, the explosion indication for the second reaver gets messed up. It seems to completely delete the model of the reaver alongside it's dying animation, but the implosion still happens, you just can't see it

@fickle oar if you were in a multiplayer match and you weren't the host, then yes it can happen and it's already fixed for the next patch :)
@void locust, I just had a run end to this, very likely to happen if you get them from a shrine of combat

I got REALLY close at one point though, it imploded right in front of me and I almost had a heart attack
@tacit matrix That's just clients (non-host players) getting screwed by the server (host). There are very few things in this game that are local to everyone, like movement, skill cooldowns and choosing an item from an adaptative chest. Taking and dealing damage is fully simulated by the server, so what you see doesn't matter (it really really shits on the multiplayer experience honestly). 1.0 changed client projectiles for some reason, so them colliding makes them bounce instead of disappear. This is already reverted in the test branch to how it used to be, just gotta wait for the next update

randomly whenever i play online i randomly get items, this time shrines of chance would cost zero and we could spawn infinite items
we were doing the teleporter and the last greater wisp somehow ended up below us past the barrier (red dot next to my character) and we couldn't kill him, so our run got ruined

i think this is a visual bug? when in the void fields, if i walk to the edge of the radius of the circle, then look towards the center ( where the beam would be coming out of ) it makes the player model appear to be outside of the area.

Void Reaver killed an TP Boss Imp Overlord on a stage 8 Rallypoint Delta. Boss bar then showed as 0/12 million, teleporter was stuck on 99% and ended the run. What a waste of 50 minutes.

Happened when we finished the game and only I had this bug .couldnt press at continue but could open menu for the esc buttoon .also animation didnt go through for the continue countdown.

There was this Shrine of Chance, but it could be used infinitely, cost 0 gold, and dropped Legendary items only
There were 2 of us, and it worked the same way for us both, stumbled upon it randomly right after opening the timed chest

Hi, ive played a couples of game with a Friend and multiple Time on the second Map abandoned acqueduct something happened.
My Friend was hosting the game.
Once on the Map we were looking for the boss TP and i went close to the ancient gate and Saw it was open for me, i could go trough it but for my friend it was still closed.
I went in but the 2 bosses didnt spawned. Once we went on the pressure plate the gate opened for my friend and the bosses spawned correctly .
So I updated the game and i lost my profile for some reason

As MUL-T if you "fire" your saw before you use the egg ability item you will keep using your saw, not sure if it's a bug but I think it looks pretty cool (image bugged)
So the issue seems to be the game doesn't recognize my profile on the new update. I'm sending the log here for reference
(It's probably the heavy modding that caused the issue so just backup your saves i guess)

Picking up bandolier drops while having backup mags and your beacon skill on as captain (with your prosthetic raised in the air and the beacon area shown) it gives you M2 beacon charges allowing you to place an infinite amount of beacons on a stage. if you surely know the map ideally and completely you should not have problems with losing a teleporter
in my 500+ hours,and thousands of hours from friends and others,there was no cases of truly teleporter not spawning

This happened after the update 1.0.1.1
Using Mercenary's Blinding Assault in Void Fields and colliding with the corpse of a Brass Contraption can cause you to be trapped in the animation, retaining invulnerability and potentially soft-locking you.
Any of mercenary's attacks can interact with these corpses in a sustained hit-pause way, but are highly unlikely to trap you the same way his Utility skill can. The only escape is to be "pushed" out of it by an enemy through collision - other players cannot affect you. During this time, it will continually loop the hit sound and visual effects of Blinding Assault. (This bug was encountered pre-version 1.0.1.1)

want to alert that Captain + Chrysalis may not be working as intended. Just read through the patch notes and didn't see it and I hadn't reported it (and no search results). Rather than allowing flight the captain just shoots across the ground.
Managed to pick up the artifact before starting the challenge itself. I was mashing E to pick up the key but instead picked up the Artifact during the small cutscene. Chat log shows I picked up my teleporter reward, then the Artifact, then the first Key.
did the all projectiles bouncing off enemies like captain's taser get fixt?

@frosty minnow are you sure your game is updated? just tried it and it works.
#ror2-bug-reports-pc there is no option to deactivate game controller. This causes issues on some controller (Hotas or racing wheels). The game does not accept keyboard and mouse input. The current solution of disconnecting any device is not viable.

you can spawn on a level inside a drone and become stuck
if you get hit by a glacial enemies freezing thing it bumps you slightly so you can get unstuck that way, otherwise run is at the mercy of nearby brass contraptions 
The void protection effect (The purple shield when standing inside of a zone in the void fields) is considered a "Negative Effect" for the purposes of the blast shower and is cleansed on use (which is quickly given back, but 1 tick of void damage is still taken). Builds that use transcendence or another large amount of shields and an automatically activating blast shower with a cooldown of less than 7 seconds cannot regenerate their shields ever while in the void fields. (I could not provide a screenshot since the effect is down for a fraction of a second)

yeah, try setting it to what is was before, i guess ror/unity doesnt like overclocks

Has anyone else had a problem not receiving the skins for beating and obliterating on Monsoon? It's like I'm soft-banned. I just finished a long monsoon run, obliterated, and no captain skin.

||Mithrix seemingly skipped Phase 3 as if instantly killed, then proceeded to Phase 4. During Phase 4, he took all items and continued boss fight as normal... However the Moon detonation countdown occured DURING the phase 4 fight.||
||As an added feedback, I think Mithrix should not be allowed to benefit from Nhukana's Opinion since he can proc it from any healing and kill you with undodgable missiles||
enemies just can't handle this "jump" and they always get stuck floating here pretty much forever

Not sure if this goes here, but in the German language version of the game, "Captain" should be "Kapitän" no?
