because some have knockback and some don't?
Just seems weird that if every attack is supposed to have knockback all attacks should cancel bustling then shouldn't they?

Have not been playing Merc recently because of a bug I've encountered when fighting elites. When you use your r as Merc you seem to only become invulnerable and not unhittable. This doesn't really ever make a difference besides when you're fighting shock elites. You'll be fighting say a shock elder Lemurian and they'll attack you when you use your R. You won't take any damage initially but the shock orbs stick to your hitbox and then can just instant kill you once your R is over and they detonate

i finished the tp event grabbed all the dropped essences so i activated the tp to leave and then died from a dag zipping to me
it made the dag sound too
and it couldn't be an old dag from the umbras cause they died immediately four minutes before that
With mercenary, you can dash into all sorts of walls and rocks. Example here, where you can glitch yourself through the rock on Aquaduct. Monsters cannot hit you when inside.

I was in Hidden Realms (acrid unlocking place y'know what I mean), we were casually playing then the Parents have been added to the cell, so my friend said "hey let's put Chanson d'Automne on the bot" so he started the discord bot and then chat went crazy with a bigger police and more space between characters. It all went back to normal when the song stopped. Is it some kind of easter egg or pure coincidence ?
Alloy Vultures with the Red Whip power (in Void Fields, haven't tried the Artifact of Evolution) don't lose their movement speed when attacking. It's possible that's how all monsters are, but I didn't think to test that.
Another bug: Hitting beetle enemies with Mul-T's ZOOOOOOM attack often makes them stop moving. It happened for normal and elite beetles. I was playing on Monsoon and this happened on Distant Roost for sure, but I think it happened on other stages as well. I only remember it happening for beetles.

im not sure if is a problem but when i play with a gamepad and de comand artifact when i select an item i have to use the jump button. if i have some items i jump to high and loses some seconds or give the oportunity for other companion to pick the item when you want it. it is a bit annoying sometimes.

I didnt play with the artifact that makes only 1 monster, but every now and then there is a VISUAL glitch and it looks like this, even though the gameplay is exactly the same.
Hey there uuuh so when I start a game, my camera is locked and when i move my mouse it does nothing, the mouse work when i'm in settings or in main menu etc, but not while i'm playing. I uninstalled and reinstalled several times and did a check up of corrupted files via Steam but it gave not result.

it just has to receive damage from you as source,so any zap would also count
but i dont know why that i shoot my turrets it dont shoot me back so whats the difference with a aurelionite

But, today and last week we were faced with the following bug.
When you activate the portal and kill the boss, the health indicator of the boss does not disappear, although there is not a single monster on the map at all. Because of this, the portal always hangs at 99% and the game can only be completed.
Do you know such a bug and can it be somehow avoided?

While spawning at this location in Scorched Arces, I was moving during the animation, and I somehow clipped into the floor and entered an unaccessible area. I couldn't even get out of the area at all after I materialized.

with acrid I jump every time at the enemyes by using the crtl hability ("Caustic Leap" or "Frenzied Leap") but with the beetle queen i just pass through the boss , i think it is a bug because it didn't make sense

i jump from everywere to the boss face , with (for example) the stone titan when i active the "frenzied leap" hability and i make contact with the boss hitbox, i explode like normaly , but with the beetle queen I insted of hiting the face i pass trough the face and hitting the ground

try the center of the body. The hitbox might be smaller than the actual boss, and hitboxes usually originate from teh center of the mesh
I don't know the cause, but recently I have seen chests spawning inside the ground and on my last run I myself spawned inside the ground and when I moved I fell of the map

If you're stuck in 2+ striders I'd believe you,but you can escape one's succ easily
So thereβs an arti bug where she gets stuck in constant movement in midair and keys stop working until you fall off the map or touch the ground. It seems to happen when i get launched upward by a geyser, hold space to float with env and then get knocked by a projectile

so, i keep accidently getting out of bounds in most of the maps, but in a way, i kind of don't know if this is a bug, for some things its obviously a bug, but for other things, it feels like a way to simply enjoy all the work put into the game's world.
an example here, I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but, either way, it does feel a bit unintentional, however, it's really nice to just relax for a second, and look at the detail put into the world.

Is it just me or there is a bug after you go out of your Escape Pod, your character automatically use your Utility Skill (Shift)?
Also, during the "Landing" animation, the "Tab" UI is automatically open... you had to press "Tab" again to close it...

Can confirm, I took the screenshot and sent it to him when I noticed, the total damage dealt is only 1 quintillion, while his largest hit as 18 quintillion

@worn lion I'm not blaming them, they probably already know. Easy fix would be freezing it at 9,999,999,999 so it wouldn't cause a problem with the spacing layout and all
Multiplayer run with 3 players. Two players (including host) had Artificer unlocked, third player did not. When visiting the Bazaar Between Time for the first time in the run, the two players who had Artificer unlocked could see the Artificer trapped and could pay to release the Artificer but the player who did not have Artificer could not (despite having the lunar coins to do so).
On our second trip to the Bazaar, the Artificer was unlockable for all three players.

With the artifact of glass plus some shaped glass fall damage has a chance to kill you. This happened in a game without frailty on.
The artifact of glass disables one shot protection which might have something to do with it

Okay I narrowed it down to bloom I believe. Turned it off and they went away after they appeared and so far no more colorful flashing dots

My friend and I activated a gold altar on stage 2. Ever since we entered that gold portal, all enemies still had the 50% hp from swarm, but were not spawning in pairs of 2. They just spawned like normal, only with 50% hp

Having some issues where printers will spawn in a way that deposits their item into the void.
This is true I think they should just give you the item straight to your inventory
That's not a bug, it just happens sometimes
In the case that it does, you just have to accept that you can't use the printer.
Aparently Artifact of Kin can break void fields, that is, nothing will spawn if the artifact of kin's choice doesn't align with the type of enemies void fields wants to spawn

well, imp overlords are drawn to those. while they teleport to them less since the artifact patch, they occasionally just dip and try to kill them first

Have a pretty annoying bug thats been present for a while, teleporting while doing things with use items (switching them as multi, using them in blue portal zone, picking up or changing them) causes me to spawn into the next stage unable to move or fire (although i am sometimes able to use use items). The only workaround ive found is getting frozen by a dying glacial enemy. This has also only ever happend in multiplayer, but i dont play single much. Ill add the output log in a sec, forgot that

Was performing a long run (commando's incorruptible) and game refused to load the next stage. It didnt crash or lag as I could hit esc and access settings just fine, the previous stage shows on bg but leaving the menu reverts back to the black transition screen. Quit back to main menu after waiting a while. What info do I need to gather for next time I run into this?
this happened to me also I did incoruptible and took a lunar item after i finished and it would not load
Hm, I'll try a new profile and see if it happens with the achievement. It was on stage 20 -> 21 for me so couldnt grab any lunars

In the Artifact realm, if you have Dio's Best Friend and your Vengeance clone dies its first death by falling off the stage, it will respawn at the center of the map far, far below the out of bounds teleport boundary. This means that you cannot defeat the Vengeance clone to obtain the item, and that the screen will stay purple until you teleport out.

has anyone else come to the point where the game makes bosses literally unkillable even with 80+ armor piercing rounds? they die but their health goes negative and the game registers the boss as alive but now can no longer take damage so you cannot kill them.
Also once you get to 2.9billion gold it goes negative and goes backwards and repeats

i found a nice bug in second map
if you go high enough and then in any direction far enough you will get pass the map fall trigger and go under the map
dont have visual, but in short i was acrid going through gold portal, spawned and couldn't move, got tossed up by enemies but i had no movement or abilities. i could still activate equipment

So for whatever reason whenever i launch the game it makes me make a new profile even when its on the same steam account and i have lost all progress 3 times and at this point i dont see any reason to play the game which is frusturating because the game is amazing besides this problem is there anyway to fix this?

Having this bug since the Launch of the game. never heard anything about it but i do see other people complain about it. are the devs even aware of that? cant play with friends or with other people at all
Upon starting the teleporter event, the item is dropped instantly (in this case, Rose Buckler), and bosses spawn without a red HP bar
@worn citrus most likely due to the worms suffocating in the terrain, making the game think that they are dead. This tends to happen on Sky Meadows, especially around the 2 points where the floating rocks cross the terrain.
To explain what happened, not to say your report was invalid, keep reporting bugs as you find them :)
True, worms tend to do that. Appreciate the explanation! Though I experienced a similar issue with an Imp Overlord once (did report it when it happened), on Rallypoint Delta
Interestingly enough, the item dropped was also Rose Buckler on that other instance
btw i managed to just walk out of it and resume normal play, but i thought it was worth pointing out as it's happened to me a couple of times with huntress's blink
it also prevents enemy fire hitting you while you can still fire at them
Bug Report: Blast Shower Item Does NOT unfreeze your character after a Frost Elite death explosion. Personally I think the item is under powered and it should absolutely have this feature. Thanks for reading.

The fact that it didn't relieve a status effect (frozen) as its descriptions indicates it removes ALL staus effects it seemed to me a BUG. Thanks for reading.
I've been having this unusual issue since the Artifact update. Either at the start of the game when I turn on my computer or after 3 launches of the game. My ram usage goes to the top as shown in the top left of the screen from MSI Afterburner. I would also get a Unity error code but that error was resolved from switching the compatibility to Windows 7, the error went away but the ram usage persisted. I love Risk of Rain but it just drives me nuts as a PC tech to not pinpoint the problem that ram just gets used up. I'll be more than happy to provide any information required to fix this.

@cyan relic the game constantly writes certain logs in the background. It is possible that those files have gotten so huge that the game takes up all your ram to process them. normally these delete themselves after so long but it seems like they are staying, and that is probably whats killing your ram

@cyan relic check the pinned messages on where to find the output log, however before deleting anything i suggest taking a screenie and dm'ing me so i can see how your folder looks

I had a bug where a lot of text showed up in the middle of the screen during the whole boss fight. I found out it happens only where vulture where the boss (wich happens more often with the Artifact of Kin). Apparently the line in languages files for Vulture name is replaced by vulture description. Didn't open file's game until now, and don't know what happened. It happened with the game in French, maybe everybody w/the game in French has this issue ?

In my screen, I can't see the big red boss HP while my friends can
I died 4 times because of fall damage (as seen by the death message) even though the artifact of frailty wasn't turn on. (My friend says that this happens when you take damage while falling down)
There is another bug I didn't screenshot but this only happens in multiplayer. This happens rarely but basically sometimes when you spawn on a stage a player can't move at all (the host of the server as far as I see can't get affected, only anyone else from the rest of the server.) When the player is froze, the player can't attack,move or do anything. They can only look around. Additional info :After that stage finished, on the next stage, the player can move and attack again.

Actually forgot if I tried to report this as a bug earlier: When NPC's get N'kuhana's Opinion, any healing instance they get will fire off a full damage n'kuhana skull with no cooldown whatsoever. Against things with high HP and high rate of fire, like Clay Templars with Leech Seed, their damage output becomes disgustingly high. It's even worse with Bosses since their procs practically guarantee OSP even through Jade Elephant.

@worn lion 1 hp != 10% of hp pool of the enemy. Skulls should fire 90% less frequrently.
that's assuming enemies also have 1.0 proc coef
even if proc for 5 leaching seeds was set to 10 it still only 50hp wich isnt a 10% of hp pool.

ok so basically what happened @worn lion is that two Magma Worms hit each other while they had Leech Seed during Chaos. They only healed <1 HP each but did 10% of their max HP to me each, which is enough to instantly kill through OSP regardless of how much defense I had been stacking
It also did this from a pretty far distance, without warning
The issue is that the amount they healed was massively disproportional to their resulting damage, which had already been giving me trouble since it was stage 5 and literally everything was firing that busted synergy at me. Not only does it become disproportionately strong, but it is directly unfair to the player in the same vein as Scavenger + Ceremonial Dagger - except because it uses enemy HP instead of their damage output, it's almost guaranteed to be lethal by stage 5, the earliest you can encounter the synergy outside of Void Fields.
Basically the bug is that the HP required to do the burst damage isn't stored properly (or isn't at all) and the way it manifests causes it to completely brick the run, as it is almost impossible to survive getting hit once, since you take 10% of enemy HP as damage instead of 10% enemy damage.
To put it into perspective, a stage 1, level 1 Beetle Queen with this synergy deals 210 damage, which instagibs all level 1 players by a mile. She also fires off a Skull for every single one of her shotgunning projectiles that hits, and you usually get hit by 3...
tl;dr leech seed + n'kuhana's on enemies is busted since they can be healed for 0.1 HP and fire off million-damage nukes for free. If it worked off of every hit but only based on the amount healed that'd be OK, if it stored the HP it'd probably never fire off. But right now the damage compared to other item combinations is beyond fucking nuts

Found a bug while streaming, don't know how consitent it is. Huntress with her blinks can clip into a version of sorched achres with the highest tier to the left. the onw with the stair case and middle pillar. You can clip into it. Not sure if its intentional and stuff.

Sorry if I'm not allowed to post the same bug twice but I haven't seen anyone even address this issue. This screen happens to me when I join my friend's lobby and vice versa and makes it so that we can't plat co-op w/ each other.
I didn't think to record it but my grappling hook got stuck in mid air not allowing me to grapple at all only letting me do it after i beat the stage.

I did the 20 stages in a single run as commando no lunar items as u can see and i didnt get the ability or any achivement to unlock the clover can someone pls fix this and give me whatever the ability is or i will have just wasted 140+ mins for nothing

dunno if this has already been mentioned, but the default view of the ukulele in the logbook is a bit messed up. zooming out solves it while viewing it, but only as I'm viewing the model specifically. going out and back to the entry messes up the zoom again.
In my last run just now our TC-280 Prototype drone became stuck in the circular cave on Siren's Call, despite physically having enough room to navigate out. I also encountered a bug while using caustic leap on top of two Wandering Vagrants where I got stuck in the animation and could not move at all.
Me and my friends also keep experiencing trouble with Swarm in multiplayer runs. Swarm will at some point stop spawning double enemy encounters, for no apparent reason. Only a game restart will fix this issue (for some time).
Sometimes I lag through the floor while using mercenarys shift and get stuck under the world or fall through it
There is a lobby bug in quick play where a lobby stucks on 2 play starts in 0 sec

Tried to unlock Vengeance. Experiencing doppelgangers fall out of stage and will not die. Each red arrow indicates a falling doppelganger. When look toward it can see the red dot become smaller as if its falling.
But there is actually nothing there. Tried huntress' left click, Royal Capacitor, Primordial Cube, Preon Accumulator, cannot lock on a target and the aoe does not capture anything either.
Also the red arrow always point right underneath player character. Tried to move upward as far as possible and nothing spawn on the floor underneath but the red arrow still point directly down.
After the doppelganger fall for what it feels like 5 to 10 mins no new enemy spawning and the "artifact vault" continued attacking. Then suddenly new enemies spawned (which at this point are only Scavengers) new keys dropped after dispose of them. But the "vault"'s hp has reset to full and turning in a new key start the doppelganger fight again but this time adding a new "defeat the boss" on right hand side.
And as you can see the process of fighting and one doppelganger falling out happened quite some times. And wait between new enemies spawn in becomes a lot shorter.
At this point even if I did manage to kill both doppelgangers the progress does not continue. The "vault" would rapidly heal itself for 2M a tick and cease to attack. Also at this point I no longer see the "vault" hp bar.
For every time a new set of doppelgangers spawn in and falling out the game seems to run slower. I ended up quitting the run since I can not die nor find a way to complete the event and the lag is unbearable at this point.

Not really sure if this counts as a bug but I ran into 2 cheaters using something to give them infinite ability usage, im assuming hp, jumps and maybe some other things. Happened 2 games in a row, 1 was mul-t and the other was a merc.

When I reached the Abandoned Aqueduct stage after completing the first loop, I notice that the "a celestial orb appears" message pops up, and upon completing the stage, the portal did indeed show up (image 1). After entering the portal and completing the run, I saw that the score screen showed 7 stages completed (image 2). After thinking on it for a while, I remembered that I had accidently activated the stage 1 (Distant Roost variant) teleporter when I meant to use the Blue Portal that had spawned. I interacted with the portal anyway as a joke or whatever, and I found that I still entered the Bazaar Between Time. Other than that, the run itself was normal. Unfortunately, I didn't pay attention to the stage counter, so I don't know when it advanced when it shouldn't have. I tried a few more times to replicate what I did on stage 1, but I was unsuccessful in my attempts.

Was on stage 7 and activated the teleporter. Melted all the other bosses but one beetle queen spawned on the other side of the door. The description of the video explains the bug better. Beetle Queen spawned on the other side of a big wall making it extremely hard to kill her. I had to essentially "clip" my turrets under the wall for them to do damage. If I was playing any other character besides engineer the run would've been dead in the water.

Quick thing, to know if this has a fix: After activating the tp theres a screenshake and a sound, then the boss spawns. right before the boss spawns all my audio cuts for a very brief moment.

Was playing a monsoon run with 2 friends and had a bug where my tp boss was 3 Imp Overlords and after they were killed their hp was stuck at 0 meaning we could not progress further in the run leaving us stuck on stage 8. Hello, on the PC version, Frenzied Leap does not stun, like Caustic Leap does for Acrid. Both state that they will stun - however, I tested it on a fresh run, no items, against a Robot. I was unable to stun with Frenzied Leap at all, despite multiple attempts. I then switched to Caustic Leap and was able to stun in the same scenario - no items, against a Robot.
@deep karma I donβt think itβs supposed to for balancing reasons. The devs want people to choose which abilities represent theyβre play style the best, hence why each ability has its pros and cons.

Just bought the game, fired it up and keyboard and mouse wouldn't work. Turned on my xbox controller and that would work. I shut it off again and still no keyboard and mouse. The screen said no gamepad input detected on the bottom right. After several restarts I figured out that having my Thrustmaster HOTAS plugged in to USB somehow disables my keyboard and mouse. As soon as I unplugged them, the cursor showed up and I was able to use KBM again.

@deep karma also sorry for doubting you about the stun, I donβt play acrid very often and when I do I exclusively use his default kit because I like it more.
Ive also noticed that sometimes if you go into steam overlay (SHIFT + TAB) and then return back to the game, it will keep the keys held down until you press them again, often times you wont notice you're shift key is stuck and it will keep on spamming it when the cooldown runs out until you press it again. this is not a problem that only i am having, my friends also experience the same issue. Another sort of related bug is that if you use discord overlay (SHIFT + `) and then you return you're mouse will be permenantly stuck in the center of the screen and the only way to remove it is to restart the game. i dont know if i explained this well but i think it gets the point across.
If the you have artifact of vengeance and stack interstellar desk plant, when the doppelganger kills allies, it can heal the artifact forge, making it impossible to complete. Recreated with a cheat mod.
@reef magnet yah but in normal play i wouldnt expect anyone to have any more than like 4 interstellar desk plants on average, but i see where you're coming from, the artifact forge should not be able to heal itself from you're items like regular monsters.

Hello. I Want to report a new bug we have encouter in our run of today, my friend and me. After a certains level (around 30) the boss not spawn and we have only the charging phase, the game not stuck like the last one iβve report, but we not find that fun because we went the boss spΓ©cial loot and he drop it only from the tp event. And the artefact of parenty spawn only pillard at the end, this not fun too.

@candid marlin this is a bug. when acrid has too much attack speed (for which you need more than 5 syringes for sure), his M1 resets before the final hit can even come out

Also, has anyone else discovered the neat little motion blur option in the configuration file? Have the devs said anything about motion blur coming to the game in a later update? I'm interested as to why if they're not allowing the user to toggle it with an in-game GUI setting, but it's still hidden in the config file, I mean I know that it's broken right now, but why leave it in the config file but not draw the option in the GUI, for example just warn the end-user that the option is still under construction, and isn't fully implemented.

Engineers shield, not being able to shoot your bombs or mines through the shield from the outside, or standing in the edge of the shield, they bounce away, I feel the shield should block attacks from enemies etc, but the engineer should be able to shoot through, both ways of the shield
Hello, I have found some performance issues with the Sawmerang, having about 10 gestures of the drowned and about 40 fuel cells the game starts to stall when you have too many sawmerangs on screen. The game drops to under 1 FPS and takes a while before it recovers the FPS by despawning the sawmerangs. I checked performance usage on my CPU and GPU and it doesn't seem to be maxing out the GPU or any invidiual CPU thread.
I am also aware that this might be abusing the games mechanics and isn't really intended, but I was interested to know if this could improved somehow.

One of my Incinerator drones fell into the ground and I can't revive it.
@dusty harness game is on unity engine, that's not known for huge paralel computiong optimisation. Most likely once cpu core reached it's max performance and stalled other hardware. Dont think devs could do something about it, since they didnt write the engine themselfs.
weird bug, but sometimes enemy corpses don't disappear, when getting hit in a coop game, the cause stuttering from a repeated explosion affect, causing massive slow down for me but no other players
@wet vault known for brass contraptions. If you having performance issues with that - try forcing corpse cleanup.
Bug report: i tp'd into sky meadows suspended in mid air. couldnt move at all. i got my friend to push me to the out of bounds area to see if i got tp'd back up to the surface normally. nope, i was still suspended in mid air and unable to press any button. i took damage so it wasnt an invincible thing.
suspected cause: my friend said it couldve been because he pushed me just as we tp'd into the next zone but i didnt see it for myself so yea.

Is the Recycler item targeting being kind of wonky a know issue? Its really not that big of an issue as I can just walk away from the item and walking back seems to fix it most of the time, but there have been a few times when I couldn't target the item at all no matter the angle or distance I was from it. Seems to happen mostly when the item I'm trying to target is sitting on an angled piece of ground.

This bug has been in the game since Loader was added and I'm surprised it still hasn't been fixed. Maybe no one has noticed it?
In the few instances that I've played with my friends who were playing as Loader, this bug has often happened. When using her Charged Gauntlet Utility near the corpse of a Brass Contraption, a bug will often happen when you try to punch through that will get you stuck inside of the Brass Contraption corpse. There will be an irritating noise, and it seems that getting stuck this way will count you as constantly attacking an enemy, giving you the maximum amount of Scrap Barrier you can possibly have at a time. You will be stuck inside of the corpse of this enemy until the corpse either despawns, you die, or you manage to find some way to get out with another Charged Guantlet or Grapple Fist. Luckily you will be given a lot of chances to escape, as you will be pretty much invulnerable, but it does not make it any less annoying.
I'm quite surprised that this bug has not yet been fixed. I have a feeling it is because not many people have experienced it, but with how easy it is to reproduce this bug, I find it rather hard to believe. There is also a chance that the bug occurs with the steel balls rather than the Brass Contraption corpse, but this has happened so many times near the corpse of a Brass Contraption that I feel the two things are related. Here is a screenshot of the bug happening. Next time I'll be sure to record it if it happens again. The yellow light you see in the screenshots were constantly flashing, and you can see the practically infinite health bar I was talking about.

The exact same thing happened to me yesterday, I was playing with Rex and my friend with commando for the alt and the clover, we got the beads of fealty and went to the portal in the stage 23 to 24 the game went full black screen. note: we could press Esc but upon pressing Resume the game was stuck in the pause menu with the mouse on the resume button, we were using the artifact of command and sacrifice

i was the last one alive too so it quickly ended the run

@toxic willow The dunestrider will always hurt its allies with the drawing attack, when it is an enemy, it will pull in other enemies along side you, therefore, when it is an ally, it pulls you in along side the enemies
Update on the swarms breaking bug, it seems to have something to do with Beetle Queen spawns. Whenever we get Beetle Queens as Boss enc. swarms is broken afterwards. Probably someone else has already shared the same nugget of info :).
I was doing the Artifact of Vengeance as REX and the doppelganger showed up and hit me with Tangleing growth- the one where it stops enemies from moving and gives you health- and once it ended i still couldn't move, and had to exit the game

I finished the Stage but had a ghost of a Void Reaver, when it died and detonated it killed me too. Despite it being a friendly ghost due to the happiest mask.

actually nah, it didn't replace the spirit. it just spawned anotehr spirit. there's 2 still in the abyss not dying. definitely seems like a bug
for some reason any private game i do ends in less than 3 minutes and gives this message. ive tried reinstalling and verifying.

Clay Dunestrider Ghosts can still kill the player when the players touches it during the "big succ" (I don't know the name of the attack but I hope you get the idea). I think I killed it right before or during the succ and it turned into a ghost

I Have the kin artifacts active and got the alloy vulture as the only thing to spawn but when i did the teleporter it game me no health bare and did not spawn any vultures the entire time of charging
I should've screenshotted it but I forgot to. I was playing Acrid, didn't pick up lunar items, got to stage 20, and somehow unlocked Commando's grenade despite not playing as him. The last run I did before that was with Commando, however.
i dont have any screenshots but the Squid Polyp item often causes the Squid Turrets to spawn underneath the ground or inside of walls
most commonly seen on Scorched Acres, when interacting with the Lunar Shrine at the end of the bridge in that little circular area
the Squid Turret usually always spawns underneath the floor there, though there are plenty of other times it's happened that i cannot quite remember off the top of my head
(also this may or may not be a bug but when using the relic that enables friendly fire, the gas can's ignition radius applies to the player after defeating an enemy if you're too close. not sure if this is a bug per se, perhaps just an odd decision?)
I obliterated on monsoon difficulty as artificer but didnt unlock the skin. It was in multiplayer mode and someone else was host. Was this supposed to happen?
Not so much a bug, but definitely needs fixing. There's an area on the swamp map that's reachable with artificer, but you can't get out. with Head First you can jump and float down there (which I did) before realizing I couldn't get out due to there being no way to jump out or fall off the map, softlocking my run.

i am having a bug on Acrid where his second leap ability is suppose to stun but isn't stunning anything. I dont know what is causing it.

why does multiplayer disconnect after 4 minutes after strarting a round
Game crashes a ton. I have to worry whether or not it will crash every time I start a run. I have noticed a few things that cause crashes: Playing in 4K, Idling too long, Leaving the game paused for too long, Staying in the Newt Shop for too long, Waiting in the menu for too long. The game also sometimes freezes a still image of the game on the screen, but continues to run the game in the background. I can still hear stuff going on, but I can't see it lol.
Edit: Ever since I enabled VSync the game runs in 4K with no crashes (yet.) VSync causes input lag though, so I wish the game didnβt crash without it.
Not sure if this counts as a bug but in the null zone the enemies picked up Dio's best friend after circle 8. Once 9 was neutralized the remaining enemies didn't despawn although I could kill them without issue.

A bug is the fact that the game runs at 60fps on xbox, but the xbox one x graphics are too high so my friends with a normal xbox have better graphics than my xbox one x. I would suggest adding a quality option in the settings to fix it.

Wym? I'm sitting next to my brother with the oldest version of an xbox one and he has 60 fps, and I only have around 30 because of the enhanced detail on the xbox one x. I can see it on most of the stages. I only get 60 fps in the celestial portal realm.

are teleporter bosses not supposed to give the last hit achievement?
past two nights have not been able to do multiplayer games with two different friends, and they can't do with each other. tried steam friends list invites, lobby codes, and everything we could. validated files. game worked fine for the three of us during free weekend
sometimes when using the artifact of swarms their health is halved but spawns aren't doubled

It's not him, because unless he's hacked into the game (which there's no certainty that they've done that), then he can't even join a game. It's not the same as someone jumping ship at the last second; the timer just stop, the lobby player count is incorrect, and the host, Munchkin5 never moves from that spot, yet the game never starts.
Also a serious bug for Korean language user host. When the host uses korean UI, the whole game gets massed up. all the players become extremely laggy and the projectiles are invisible. And eventually the run breaks. I found out that this issue hasn't been fixed for more than a year. What the hell are the developers up to?

the squid turrets most of the time in the zone you get in through the blue portal then goto the purple one they spawn in the world (sorry for not knowing the name of the zone)

tiny little problem, there's a but where ping grows linearly as the host's time slows the received client's time increasingly.
We had 2 artifacts, artifact of command and artifact of swarms. with about 8 gestures of te drowned, we started a new one (happened to be artifact of enigma). with 1 fuel cell, we didn't have enough drones to block the back-up, but with it activated once they were enough.
As soon as I randomly got the back-up, the game seemed laggy, and I was running around in the air for my friend (the host). Everything I did, it happened a few seconds later for him, but in slow motion with some rubberbanding. he dies trying to open an active item thingy for me to fix it.
The latency grew from then on. What I did after 1 minute happened on his screen after 2. The latency did not affect my perception of e.g. the drones, they ewre in the same location he saw them in, making it clear that the error is at the point of me sending information to him, or him receiving my information. Me getting information from him seemed 100% ping-free. but e.g. opening chests would later take 10 minutes on my end to actually complete. When i was finally able to complete the challenge, the latency was already at 40 minutes. we waited the 40 minutes, and after only 120 minutes of more waiting for my clicking the exit portal to register the teleportation started. But only for me; my friend, the host, then got a black screen and the game froze.
I suppose we'd have had to wait another 240 minutes for the world to load.
note: we play pretty often, this is the first time this happened. task manager said nothing else really used the internet, and firewalls didn't block anything either. However, RoR2 only used 0.00 to 0.01 MB/s of internet and would rarely bump up to 0.1 MB/s, so the error was probably on my client being confused by the back-up drones being blocked and corrupted the process of sending information. But only the networking, as the game still ran at regular fps
to emphasize that it really won't have been our internet, we tested streaming our screens to each other which also worked perfectly without lag or delay.

There are bunch of people having the same issue - extreme multiplay lag when host's language is korean and fixed by changing language setting - since middle of 2019. I'm not the only one having this god damn bug and you r fcking deaf ignoring the reality. How language text is causing the problem? I dont fcking know and do i have to? am I the programmer and developer here? I'm simply telling you the facts and you are the one never listening

@worn lion nah, I got this issue playing with friends living relately close. (Vancouver ~ Victoria) it's not just quickplay thing. I think it has to do something with chat messages, it seems to get really messy when items are picked up

im having a bug where my game will have MASSIVE frame drops when using controller, and the controller's inputs also wont register during these slowdowns. Im talking 90 fps to about 5

We had a weird bug where the teleporter is stuck at 99% and the other two friends still see "Defeat the boss" even though we've killed all the birds. I think Happiest Mask created a bird boss and bugged it out

@magic shale Hmm, well Tonic Affliction is a debuff, so maybe debuffs are registered as damage taken?

@magic shale yeah tonic affliction counts as damage, since your health gets reduced by x% upon infliction, its permanent damage, so to speak.
When I did the ballista mission I also used the tonic. But this time I prepared my gear so that I could have 100% uptime therefore giving me no tonic affliction. I used 7~9 power cells and 1 gesture of the drowned.
So if you want to re-attempt with tonic @magic shale make sure to prepare before hand

I was on sky meadows, had no items that could do damage to myself, didn't use anything, and every enemy on the map was dead. (after tp event) I randomly get hit for massive damage, die, and I had no dio's on me.
I don't know what caused this, but the death screen says I was killed by the planet.

One of my runs ended the similar way. But it may not be a rock.
but it may be an issue however. When I was huntress I did not actually see any rocks nearby. This may have also been the way you died so if this is the case. Then it may be actually a bug. (Sorry for the βifβs and βbutβsβ this is a much as I understood of the situation)

Holding down LMB when using MUL-T's Power Saw alternate Primary/Misc before using his Transport Mode will keep Power Saw active for the duration of Transport Mode. However, it doesn't appear to do any damage, as the ram attack from Transport Mode seems to overwrite any hitbox that MUL-T might have for Power Saw. I don't know if there's any enemy types that allow for Power Saw to hit along with Transport Mode, as I only used it on Stage 1 Beetles and Lumarians, so I can only report this as a visual bug for now, but it may have more unintended uses.
You cannot activate Power Saw during Transport Mode if you didn't already activate it before hand, however.

I am the loader and the last enemy is out of bounds making it impossible to kill. I keep getting sent back. I dont know why the enemy just flew off in combat but it did. I am pretty sure this is a bug but maybe it clipped through a wall and ran away.

Just replicated it. The use item to summon drones just knocked up a wisp super high and sent the enemy super far out of bounds again.

Ello I just started to play this game and its really fun :)) but I everytime I enter Scorched Acres the teleporter is no where to be found I've been searching the area everywhere loads of times and it was already 50 minutes to the point where I just go killed because the difficulty. I hope it gets fixed :((
This is a super small bug, but the camera placement for the ukulele in the logbook is messed up. It looks like the clipping plane is in the middle of the uke, and if you drag it around it seems to disappear entirely.
The "roll button" for commando is sometimes permanently active on controller, the skill activates as soon as the cooldown is over.
It may just be my controller specifically since it's getting worn out, but it was still happening even after I unplugged the controller.
Hi... I can't no longer play your game and this is incredibly disappointing. I've invested a lot of money in a flight setup and turns out having any type of joystick plugged in (hotas, pedals) completely stops your ability to use the menus. I have also installed vjoy for my setup (essential) and believe this also has compatibility issues.
Disabling/unplugging all these devices is not really an option every time I want to play one game, are there plans to fix the incompatibility with joysticks being present? I've not seen this in any other game in history.
Hey so I found something weird in Siren's Call in the tunnel connecting the middle part and the bottom part, basically there is this wall which is there but only from one side
Like, from one side if you try to hit it or jump through it, you just bump against it, but from the other side you just go through as if it doesnt exist

Hi I have a couple of bugs I would like to report. (PC - Steam)
Firstly, the recycler use item will sometimes (in my case) have a hard time locking onto an object that I want to recycle. Sometimes it works if I run away and then look in the general direction of monster tooth let's say and the orange triangle appears. Even this doesn't work all the time, I only noticed this recently. happens to both passive an use times. Most notable for me after I purchase a chest, shrine.

on the alternate layout for Distant Roost, it's quite a common occurrence (in my experience at least) for the Lunar Shrine to become completely inaccessible. one of the possible spawn points for it is behind a door that may or may not be closed each time you load into the level: more often than not, my misfortune has caused the Shrine to spawn on the other side of the closed door, with no way around it. it's possible to clip through the door if you stand in the slight gap in the middle and dash forward as either Mercenary or Huntress, but that doesn't really feel like the intended solution as it essentially requires you to only ever play through that layout as Huntress or Mercenary, due to the likelihood of the Shrine becoming inaccessible during a key part of a run where a visit to the Bazaar would be greatly beneficial.

On Xbox One Controller, selecting an item with "Artifact of Command", using the A button, causes my character to jump.
Also, I don't know if this is intended behavior but, whenever I am near an item it is automatically picked up, even though it says "press X to pick up" or something like that.

i feel like there should maybe be some kind of, i dunno, measure to ensure that if the player gets lucky enough to have a newt spawn, they should be able to access them should they choose

perhaps adding a spawn into the rotation that's still hidden, but accessible to Survivors with low mobility like Engi could assuage that problem
Newts may not even be that common, based on the player's budget of Lunar Coins, but it doesnt hurt to account for the players who'd like to access them but find themselves unable to

you shouldn't rely on newt to progress,and he can spawn portal for free anyways
i'm not saying one should rely on newt to progress, just that personally i dont think it hurts much to account for some scenarios where it can become impossible to access it
at the end of the day, it's still entirely up to the player whether they decide to spend their hard-earned Coins at the Bazaar, and they accept full responsibility for any consequences their Lunar purchases may incur, but just adding counter-measures for occasionally jank RNG isn't that inherently game-breaking, i would think
the average player who's inexperienced may well assume it's a vast oversight on the part of the developers as opposed to an intentional design choice, and may think worse of the game for it

a long run of mine ended when a scavenger boss somehow fell out of bounds in scorched acres, falling infinitely far away with no way to reach them. i never saw them fall, but when i couldnt find em i noticed the indicator marked them as being straight down no matter where i was on the map.
the artifact that gives enemies items was active and i was far in the run, enemies had multiple legendaries. dio's was not one of them but the scavenger might have picked it up.
unfortunately i wasnt certain what caused it, what items the scavenger had or how to reproduce it. mods were installed so take this with a grain of salt

I was playing Mercenary and when I was in the winter map, I was fighting enemies right next to the big two-story box in the middle of the map (the one that you can walk into on the higher floor but the lower floor is closed). When I used R and Shift I suddenly went inside the lower part of the box which is closed and I couldn't get out and had to quit the game... I tried using shift and R again when I knew there were enemies on the other side of the wall but couldn't get out in any way I tried. π
In Sky Meddow on one of the maps there is a part of the map which the AI just dont know how to deal with so they end up walking back and forth in the same place
i was playing, got brainstalks, spammed merc's default R on a scavenger, and when it died i clipped through the terrain
Was playing as Engineer on Rainstorm. Everything was fine in stage 1, issues only occurred at stage 2. Completed stage 1 with a shrine of the mountain, warped to Wetland Aspect. Character model would not stop running forward animation. It did not affect gameplay at all - I could still move in 4 directions and the model would move fine, it was only when I was not moving at all, that the model would be stuck in running forward.
Second bug is that all skill keybinds are marked as "Unknown". Keyboard is still plugged in, all working fine. Issue is purely graphical.
EDIT: Found the issue was caused by my racing wheel and pedals being still plugged into the PC.

Your character were running, because one of your input devices get ~0.000001 of forward input. It is recommended to unplug or disable your additional input devices for now.

Hey guys, I've been watching a friend of mine stream this game to our server for a few minutes and I'm loving the aesthetic of this game. I notice that price values above the buyable items seem to billboard to the player rather than the player's camera, meaning that if the player is very close to the buyable objects, they would not be able to see the price tag at certain angles.
Not a super huge issue, but one that would be pretty easily fixed using a transform.LookAt() to the nearest player's registered camera using a fast magnitude distance approximation or even just a simple sqrMagnitude @fiery garnet or any available dev

Just encountered a bug where upon spawning in to Rallypoint Delta on stage 3 of a monsoon run as Acrid I could not move or use skills, just look around.
Siren's Call map has a few planes in the cave area that are jutting out on the corners through rocks / not being completely covered on the tops and bottoms that seem to be at the entrances of the cave and on the ship's bottom opening. You could probably use probuilder to stretch out the plane's mesh to custom and irregular scales rather than just using a straight up square or rectangular plane to cover those areas (it seems like you guys were trying to make some kind of cave aesthetic) @fiery garnet or any available dev

@cobalt spindle in regards to the camera thing we actually specifically went out of our way to make it behave the way it does, lol. If you want to billboard to the camera you just have to use the camera's rotation, no other vector operations required. In regards to the siren's call thing all of our map geometry is made in blender with some props placed in unity. Probuilder isn't part of our workflow afaik. We are aware of those but I think we keep forgetting to go back and fix them up.
The idea behind the chest prices rotating to face your character is to make them feel more like they're in the world

I don't know if it has any practical use, but it makes you invincible to most attacks and allows you to get to at least one area you aren't supposed to be. Worms and the Titan's fist attack can still hurt you.

Hello, I'm having issue that I couldn't find a solution to on the web/ stickied answers around here.
I am unable to run the game in full screen mode. If I launch the game it will play music and if I run task manager I can see that my graphics card is processing the video but I see nothing except for that it is running. If I use alt+ tab it will show me it has a window but the window is "invisible" in that it just shows my desktop, however if I press alt+f4 it will close the game.
I have gotten to the point where I can press alt+enter to shrink the screen to about 1/4 the size of my monitor and it works I just fine. But as soon as I try to click the full screen option or change the resolution the game freezes, and I have to alt+f4 and then boot the game again and it's the same "empty screen issue"
I have attempted resets, reinstalls (of steam and the game), running as admin, verifying integrity of my game files, I have updated my graphics card driver and even tried to mess with display settings as well as booting the game on geoforce experiences launcher. None of these work.
The game is currently installed on my SSD, I have an Asus predator with a Nvidia 960m.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, thank you!

Rn I cant get in a lobby with friends. We join eachother and it just doesnt show one another in eachothersl obbies and when it does and the host goes into a private match it just doesnt work
swarms spawned 2 imp overlords as teleporter boss, only one was marked as a teleporter boss (one with red hp bar) but also still shared the boss hp bar pool with the other overlord (not marked as teleporter boss) boss hp bar disappeared once boss with red hp bar died
one of the enemies went far away and i couldnt start the teleporter, so i had to suicide
most of the time I open the game, mkb controls do not function properly. no mouse cursor appears, mouse clicks still make sounds but do nothing, 'ENTER' does select highlighted menu buttons.
after plugging in a xbox one controller, these controls work fine in the menu.

PS4 controller works in menus, but not in game when there are other attached controllers and the PS4 controller is the "preferred device" in windows. The controller UI shows the buttons as unknown and won't assign buttons. The directional pad on the controller also doesn't work in menus.

I found another place that clips you into the ground and lets you get behind the gate without finding the buttons
Pretty hard to replicate because you need to have the map layout where the area is blocked with boulders and it works pretty much like the old one that was patched out, have enough speed and dash into the corner where boulder meets wall and you can clip through (I did it as Huntress). Not super high priority because you would need some items to even be able to cross the gap and land into the lizard band room in the first place, and then probably only useful in multiplayer because idk how you would get back out. Still; it exists so I'm reporting it

Probably not that important but there was a hole in the map on Titanic Plains (loop 1). It was big enough for my character (huntress) to get stuck there, and when I used blink I was teleported under the stage and took the fall damage. Not super big but its there π€·ββοΈ
i knocked the alloy unit 200 to 300 feet away from the spawn location into the void and then i fell down and got stuck like 500 feet down at the bottom without taking falling damage or respawning up top. this was on sirens call
Most of my quickplay games end with me getting booted to main menu with no prompt. it's happened at nearly every stage of the game. no idea if it happens to the other players.
silence between two strikes interaction with mul-t is potentially a bug. when he has it active and switches weapons, his health is restored based on % of current health (e.g. if he has 300/350 health and swaps, he will have 600/700). Switching back however seems to be based off of current health, so in my above example I would return to 350 health/350 shield

Fell infinitely out of the map without respawning after I chased the Alloy Worship Unit out of the map on mercenary. I was really far away from the edge of the map, so I'm guessing I missed the area they have set to respawn you. Ended the run because I had no way to get back or move on

For a pretty long time now the vents on 2nd stage snow map have been broken for me. I can buy them but they simple do not work. Also on that map the big storage crate thing that the timed chest may spawn in just isn't there. I'm unsure if that's a bug or a map variant though.

a fairly minor bug - when you ping the laptop for submitting artifact formula, it shows a chest icon and "." as the name for it
Hey idk if that is new but i found a way to get a bit more gold at the start of each floor (exept the first one). If u kill an enemy right as u teleport into the next stage, ull get the money for that kill. I testes it with Engeneerturrets, Huntressglaive, Engeneermines. It even works with Items when u get the timing (Royal capazitator ist the best there).

Sometimes as loader ill get stuck on a ledge or an enemy after using my punch ability like those flying bell things that throw spikes and ill get stuck there in an infinite loop gaining a very LARGE sheild and a circle of dead enemies. My guess it has something to do with collision?

I couldn't get a screenshot (because I heckin died) but I was in the sky meadows and my radar revealed that a lunar pod had spawned inside the wall of one of those rims that jut up around those holes that lead down to the big gate area. I'm not sure where the output log is on linux if it would help, though
after teleporting to the next area, I will occasionally get stuck as acrid, unable to move. I can rotate my camera and I can activate my equipment. But I can not activate any of my abilities and I am floating slightly in the air. Has happened on multiple occasions.

i just had that same issue @amber iron , since yesterday. Myself, and another person on my network tried to join a lobby to a couple friends with no success, my friend nor I could join anyones lobby (trying the copy lobby ID too, turning steam online offline.) My friend got a black screen when he tried to join a game, nothing happened for me. Finally I restarted my PC and applied the latest windows updated and now my friend and I can join lobbies normally again.

I don't have any screenshots of this, but earlier today I was doing really well, then I came across a map without a teleporter. I looked for around 80 minutes and couldn't find the teleporter. It was even supposed to have the Challenge of the Mountain, so it would've been even easier to see.

I just had an issue where the boss did not spawn at the teleporter event in abyssal depths
I had 4 Mountain shrine and was playing with Command, sacrifice and swarm
I recently had an issue where I was playing as Mul-T with a friend and I spawned in a wall in the Bulwarkβs Ambry area
I died in A Moment, Fractured by taking enough fall damage while having the Fuel Array and my friends can't use the portal to get out
In titanic plains it is possible for 3d printed items to slip off the dividing cliff in this spot
If Newt King dies and you leave trough the blue portal the game will get a black screen in which you can press escape button and use the menu but can't do anything else. Resuming the game will put you in a glitched screen of faded menu and any other notifications.
(After the run of killing Newt King with black screen without restarting the game yet) I went in a new run what happen is that there are no effects for any abilitys and primary shots. After dying everything went back to normal but in the next run when i left to menu making another run it goes back to being without any effects. (this is a continuation of the msg above)
Hi can someone help out, in my game no items are spawning, no chests, no loot, just mobs. from lvl 1 itself. and after killing the boss also i cant pick up the item. any fix?

me and my frined are experiencing the black screen issue, though it was working completely fine yesterday
Game crash after void reaver attack binds me then my character got perma stuck
uhhh... so the teleporter is stuck at 99% charging
im playing engineer, tried exiting and re-entering the zone, repositioning turrets, killing remaining monsters, nothing seems to fix it
No monsters in the Void Fields
if you play with kin enabled sometimes it rolls nothing for the initial monster
kin also locks the void fields to the first monster it rolls, so you get No Monstersβ’οΈ

yes, the overlapping in map assets is the thing that i am reporting, considering the general lack of this and the part where i got stuck on it, leading to my confusion and almost walking off the cliff

My friend did not enter the game and only could spectate me. When I died, nothing showed up. No results, no anything. So we had to quit to menu
I've encountered a strange bug on Sky Meadows. there was no enemies on the map, and I was picking up a Command essence, and I randomly died. I had ceremonial daggers at the time, but wasn't playing with Chaos. it completely bypassed OSP (I had no glass on me), and I think either Sky Meadows or Command itself is the problem here.
map error on the world with that cliff down the middle (one of the starting stages, im new and can't remember the names yet :p ). I flew off the edge towards the left side if you're facing the edge. (edit: using one of the other bug reports here the stage is titanic plains)

So for some reason artifact of swarms isn't working even though it says that it's on. Command and sacrifice are working, but only one boss is spawning and enemies are coming at a normal rate with normal health.
Not sure why, but I just started getting errors tonight that was some textbox labeled as "Unity error"
Happened twice so far in both runs tonight. Will try to screencap it next time, just verified integrity of files to hopefully stop it

Was having a good run when my friend's (the host) internet died. when we would try to join back in it says "Invalid Lobby ID". Please resolve this tq

Hi there, I recently joined a match with some online Randoms for the first time and experienced a massive graphical bug, Ill send some screenshots. Mainly just wanted to report the bug so that the game gets even better than it is! Not sure what info I should collect or If I should send my hardware but I am on the latest Radeon rx580 drivers. I also experienced a bug the other day that made it so me and my friend couldn't play together. We kept trying to invite each other via the in game steam interface and via just the steam interface, even via the clipboard match making and after several restarts it still wouldn't work for either of us. Unfortunately that was a couple days ago so I don't think I could grab any logs. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced a similar issue.

yeah, maybe a mem leak in graphics then? can run triple a stuff fine and have 8gb vram but also my settings are on like medium or something. dont think its my hardware as it persisted even after leaving that game and going single player after waiting for the usage to go down.

If you try to put more than Integer 32 bits/bytes max Value in the file (if you don't know, if you edit a file, you can get unlimited lunar coin), you got this :
And when you use a lunar coin, the number decrease. So if i was at -2 147 483 598 and i use one, i'll be at -2 147 483 599
So i can't be out of lunar coin

when some ennemies are killed and on the ground, if you attack them with acrid and the loader, they will make a sound and a lot of particles, it makes you slow too.
with the passive ability of the loader, it gives you infinite bonus health

Completed the Challenge of the Sacrifice after using only the second key. It was still alive for the next two keys, but the Artifact was already gone.
during dragon egg flying, i was close to ground and pressed e and fell through floor on desert map
not really an intrusive bug, but having the shrine spawn directly in front of the escape pod was disorienting
can someone help me with the CONTEXT_NAME_STRING bug, my timezone is fine and i've uninstalled VC++ and reinstalled and I still get the same issue
