engi's utility alt when used resets the cooldown of mines.
they just overflowed money what's wrong
i think after you get too much the number bugs out and since it cant write the number it shows as a negative. Im pretty sure you can buy literally everything anyways when that happens

It spawned me in at a new stage right where this adaptive chest was. The game handled it by putting me below the map. It let me pass through the ground from below though, and everything was fine after that.
Swarm artifact isn't working for multiplayer. Tested it out to replicate and it's specifically not working when host does not have the artifact achievement unlocked but others do. Also tested with other artifacts and it seems to work again once u enable one or more artifacts in combination with swarm, even if host does not own the other artifacts.
swarm is breaking a little as i play through the game. after a certain amount of time, the effects of swarm just stop. they don't come back until i close the game completely
can you make it so when you hit "esc" when you have the artifact of command on, so it closes the selection window and not bring up the game settings menu, ive died in multiple games thinking "esc" would close the window im looking at not open options on top of the selection menu, then you have to manually close it with your mouse before you die
@blissful mirage i had that happen to me in a solo round on one stage and then it came back
Running Artifact of Command and Kin, and the void realm doesn't seem to spawn monsters
Radar Scanner seems to show "?" markers on already opened chests, altars, etc. I dont know what is causing it, but if you need to know, i was playing multiplayer in the "Siren's Call" map at Rainstorm difficulty. I havent played much since the update, but it didnt happened before it. Thanks!
Been having an issue with Artifact of Swarms where, when my buddy hosts, Artifact of Swarms works on the first stage then breaks. However when I host it works fine for the duration of the game. We both have the artifact.
if you have a lot of movement speed items you can fly out of bounds on stage 1 and keep falling forever

Upon multiple attempts my friend could not get huntress' ballista attack, even when sitting on the outer boundary of the map and not being targeted by enemies whilst I did the teleporter.
Can't connect to any matches in Quickplay, basically it says there are 3/4 people even if it's full. If you are the host, then you enter alone in the match. This started happening tonight. I was always able to connect without issues.
For artifact of kin, enemies do not spawn in the void while the artifact is active.

Im gonna go ahead and say this is a bug, if you enter the Void Fields while the artifact of Kin is active it seems like the Kin artifact decides a spawn and the void fields decide another spawn, if its not the Kin spawn then you get basically an enemy free stage
idk what dying to the planet is but i keep getting it even when im not using artifacts
Usually i get dying to the planet when something that isnt a monster killed me such as the Obelisk or stage hazards
the thing is it got killed by the plant twice even after dio i was still getting killed?
infusion does not add to your current max health rather your total max health, i.e, if you have the glass artifact it takes 10 kills to gain 1hp since glass puts you at 10% of max hp. it did not work like this in RoR1 so i assume this is unintentional

After placing turrets and killing a spawned boss (believe it was grovetender), an explosion spawned on it's corpse giving tons of money and XP to my turret. The XP stopped about 5ish seconds after i noticed it and the money stopped counting towards my total in the same time. Explosion stayed and is extremely loud (Recorded at 15% volume and it's still this loud)
Edit: after tabbing back in the game had massive frame drops (from 144 to 5-7) and now has no sound
I was doing a Artifact of Command challenge w/ a friend. Our first time around the cycle on the fourth stage on the h*ll map (I dont know the name of the map but it's the one that's all red and stuff). We activated a shrine of the mountain. The teleporter was around the legendary chest area and when we beat the bosses, none of our would-be items appeared.
TLDR: after activating a challenge of the mountain on the 4th stage, none of our items appeared after the bosses died.
was the teleporter near some walls? in other words, is it possible the items just spawned out of bounds? or maybe on a platform above the teleporter

About my post earlier, yes, we did check on the platforms above the teleporter.
Don't know if its a bug but when i have too much drones using the back up dont spawn four drones: on this picture i used 2 back up (wait for it xD) and there's only 5 strike drones
I think there might be a problem with completing the MUL T challenge for defeating Hive Queens without leaving the teleporter zone. I've killed two separate Queens without leaving the zone and also killed two that were spawned by the same teleporter event and I have not gotten the challenge nor the reward for it (which is a new primary weapon).
Anyone else experiencing the problem where Guragura keeps healing himself up to over half health everytime he's near death? For some reason his health bars are not only desyncing but he keeps healing himself immediately. And no, not cause of healing items. It's just randomly he's back over half heath for no reason
So I was trying to kill a overloading greater wisp on the cliff of siren's call, and then I somehow dash into the wall causing me to fall. I went inside the map and fall but never teleported back to the land of the map. I tried dashing to get teleported back up but I kept free falling and couldn't do anything. In the end, me and my friend decided to restart the run as we had no other choice

Huntress shouldn't be able to target herself when activating artifact of chaos. In addition, even if she is targeting monsters some of the arrows has a chance to hit you. this can ruin glass artifact runs
This glitch gives a slight advantage, since mobs cannot hurt you while you are in this stone. Especially useful if teleport is nearby

Teleporter was stuck at 99%, saying I had not killed a boss. There were no enemies in the map.

items spawn in and get stuck on walls/ceilings very consistently when using the command artifact, some also spawn in places where they fall off edges into the void, seems much more of an issue with the artifact than without- when the teleporter spawns below an area with a low ceiling (or some chunk of terrain that wraps over the ground level) reward items can become near inaccessible, other times when near a wall, items get stuck up there, and due to the nature of the command artifact, become near impossible to collect without just mashing through to the first possible option

I've managed to unlock all the characters (i own the game already) and unlocked most of them for my friends who were playing for free as well.
I've actually been having the same issue with that mult challenge, I've done it several times in hopes of getting a different result but it seems broken
2 bugs. 1 Engineer's shield will use 2 charges if you have them. Also in A Moment, Whole, if a turrent is killed and then is brought back by having a Dio it will spawn floating

Items got stuck in the roof in this teleporter location, they were not obtainable from the top side
Items are getting stuck in walls when using command, making them nearly impossible to get. On top of that, when they spawn and there's something blocking the path that the item falls, the item will clip into the wall. A potential fix to the latter could be making it so when one gets into the command menu, they can fall as far as needed to touch the ground without having to quickly maneuver through the menu and grab the wrong item before the menu closes.
I enter multiplayer and after choosing character and launching game have black screen. After a minute I'm on a menu
I am not sure if this counts as a bug because this is technically an exploit more than anything so I am putting it in Feedback and in Bug reports, but you can technically farm WAY too easily in the Ambry for the Artifact of Sacrifice if you just ignore the artifact keys and focus on grinding Elite mobs that keep spawning, me and a friend sat in there for like 20 minutes farming items from elites. I am pretty sure the difficulty does still scale but its way slower than outside the Ambry so this is kind of super broken way to essentially slap the pause button on the run, farm a mountain of items and then resume the run with no consequences.
It wouldn't be so broken if you couldn't do it with sacrifice turned off, so we already had a bunch of items before we went in. But considering elite enemies and your drones drop items when they die its super easy to exploit this to break game balance.
Those are all items on the ground.
I entered a run with the Artifacts of Command and SACRIFICE.
I played normally until a Blue Portal spawned early, and I entered the Bazaar between Realms. From there on I went towards the purple Null Portal, where the event is, and started activating Cell Vents. I picked several items and then I realized that I could take Razorwire and Bustling Fungus, along other items, and stay outside the portal for as long as I want.
Mobs kept spawning, and the difficulty didn't change, therefore I left myself afk for like half an hour and the mobs just kept dying to the Razorwire proc-ing very very fast.
This isn't a bug as much as it is an exploit, but it seems like a pretty severe one. I even dropped one red item, you can leave with as many items as you want depending on how much time you're willing to afk yourself for, it's pretty funny though

Angling the camera towards the ground and running into this intersection in the rock using base Huntress dash consistently places you inside the terrain.

Engi's spider mines don't work against clay dunestriders when on the ground, they constantly walk below the boss, without detonating and I don't even know if it actually blows up during that AOE move

Got 52 minutes in on monsoon playing keyboard and mouse and all of a sudden all my controls de-map, it says "no gamepad binding" my character just ran in circles and fired of the m2 constantly till i died.
restarted and the games broken, can't click anything still "no gamepad binding" have to re-install
Idk if its a bug or I'm just bad at counting but the swarms artifact seems to spawn more than just double the enemies in some cases and it also sometimes only spawns 1 boss when we double check that it is active

Not certain if it's a bug but I could have sworn Stone Titans (the boss) used to be unable to shoot their laser through themselves backwards and now they just do it every time I fight them so the only way to dodge it is to hide behind terrain.

Hello ! I tried to make the challenge to unlock a new utility abilty with REX but it didn't worked :/ Is it because I need to do it in solo, or it's not the right way or it's a bug ? Hope you can fix it, when for the 14th time you finally succeed and it don't work is.... 😭

Hello there; I have done about 10 runs in the last 24 hours and in almost every single run I have done shrine of the mountain and one of the items (or multiple) ends up in an unreachable spot like stuck to a wall super high up. This happened occasionally pre-artifacts update, but it's been happening much more frequently since. Also, I attached a screenshot of a focused convergence bug. I have used this item several times and never has the effect been this small.
@mortal igloo I can answer both of those issues.
First: It's related to the Command Artifact. Upon selecting an item, the Command Artifacts gain their normal gravity.
Second: The Focused Convergence issue is due to Engineer Turrets accidentally inheriting the item. It's resulting in a 3x stack.

Hello, i was just playing casually with acrid, and the boss were 3 wandering vagrant's, i went on top of them and then after killing them got stuck on the "roof"
Destroyable rocks in sky medow increase the players max hp if said player has infusion
Magma worms seem to prioritize a single turret across the map way more than a player near the teleporter, resulting in 10 minutes of chasing it across the map to kill it
Hello everyone, I see this has been asked a few times but couldn't see that it had been answered.
Me and a friend are trying to play the new Artifacts update but we can't seem to join each others lobby whether it's via Steam or the Lobby ID.
Anyone experienced this and knows how to get around it?
@broken vapor That's pretty ancient behaviour. Wondering if the devs are planning on fixing it or not, though.
I dont know if it's intended or not, but when you use your harpoons as engineer, the recharge on the mines get reset. It's very annoying because if you spam it enough you never get any mine charges.

I'm getting random crashes. Not able to find anything that can conclusively determine the reason. attached a crash zip of all the more recent crashes I've had.

one of my friends went afk during game with sacrifice artifact. he had [The Back-Up] and [Gesture of the Drowned] and when his drones died sometimes items was randomly dropped from them. Idk is this is intentional
when happy mask takes over a umbra engineer turret, the umbra color screen still occur till the turret dies.
If you have Artifact of Soul enabled, killing an enemy with the Huntress' Laser Glaive will not spawn a Wisp from their corpse.
When playing multiplayer and unlocking Acrid, the notification achievement does not show (although he is unlocked)
Ran into several weird bugs today.
My friend (huntress) appears way too small for some reason, and acrid's attacks seem to be bugged for me in the run. No idea how it happened. the cherry on top were several "visual bugs" where my friend would point out lunar shrines not present on my map.
whenever i play with a certain friend one of us gets kicked but it works with anyone else
Minor bug but when even when I had the Artifact of Sacrifice active, chest still spawned in the gold map (where you challenge the Aurelionite)

Had a bug where I was using Artifact of Command (pick your items), when the chest was opened nearby a cliffside/edge or underneath a bridge. The items would clip into the bridge or be launched off the cliffside

In this particular instance, I attempted to attempt join a multiplayer game via quickplay. Here's what happened: 1. I have been having issues attempting to join multiplayer games since I have bought RoR2. 2. I have attempted re-validating files, re-installing the game, restarting both the game and the computer, all to no avail. 3. I have a mobile hotspot connection via PDAnet using Sprint Wireless unlimited data plan. 4. Here's what I saw today in the debug console when attempting to join a game. Well, any map with tunnels let command essences clip through, from my experience. Chosen items can fall through, though
I'm not sure if this has been brought up here before, but Acrid's Frenzied Leap isn't stunning big enemies like stone golems or any elite enemies after the Artifact update.

Was hosting a Match with two friends. After a few stages, one friend was frozen in place in the new stage after teleporting. Claimed they could not use abilities or move. Completed stage without him, not stuck in next stage. Another round, same thing happened to the other friend. Every 5-10 runs. Anyone else come across this before?

i know the map layouts and there is never a point a boss can spawn in an underachable spot
So I was on sirens call and fighting the worship unit as mercenary and it pushed off of the map and through the barrier that resets you automatically and now I am stuck falling forever
After two minutes of falling the player model started to glitch out

Anybody experiencing input lag in co-op mode? E.g trying to switch to Engineer from Commando in charselect screen, and it takes ~30 seconds for the game to actually make the switch.

On Distant Roast with Loader I get into an infinite punch loop that I think is mostly near rocks. I can slide out of it. It gives me shield and triggers the punch sound in an abrasive way.
Am I the only one who can't join an online game ?
The achievement to unlock Focused Convergence seems to use an old icon for the item.
Thats a teleporter item that spawned on the hill
overloaded worms spawns in the relic, they are falling down into the abyss and then die (disappear), making it difficult to obtain a key that opens the artifact. Cause of it they suicide, then they again spawns that generally turns what is happening into a slide show of changing worms. (using google translate)

While in a run, Huntress' arrow doesn't load the vertical part of the sprite, making it look completely flat.

However it looks properly fine in the logbook.
Mini Mushrum's icon has different texturing to how the Mini Mushrum looks in-game. (Same goes for Parent's and Lemurian's though it's not as noticeable/distracting)
We completed the artifact objective but are unable to interact with the artifact, the bubble's hitbox is still there even though it's invisible, and there's a key item on the bubble that we can't interact with
the run is effectively softlocked since the portal won't open until we take the artifact, which we can't
Some of you also having crazy lags when playing online (simple matchmaking aswell as private run ) ?? Internet works just fine btw. Sad that on a free weekend to discover the game you can't play at all with friend who wanted to try it out 😦

Not sure if this is a bug or random chance but I've encountered sn issue twice now with not being able to get past wave 22... Tried going into a celestial portsl, the screen went black and nothing happened. I pressed ESC to open the menu and it came up fine and access it with ease, but when I pressed ESC again to close it.... The screen flickered but still showed menu ecept there was no cursor... Pressed ESC again, the screan slight flickered and the cursor reappeared. Ended up having to end the run there...

I have an x55 joystick/throttle combo + xbox controller hooked up. The x55 was online but cleared out. I have played for a couple of hours today. My last round, I clicked on the wrench icon during character selection on MP. It was then that my keyboard no longer worked in game. The bottom right abilities all said "Unknown". It was at this point that nothing worked. I restarted the game and tried to do another MP session. The keyboard worked for a minute until randomly until my camera started to spin counter-clockwise. Enter would allow me to chat but I could no longer play. I have uninstalled the game, deleted the folder, reinstalled the game and checked everything else. Right now I can only play with my controller. Keyboard no longer controls anything in game except for chat. If you look at the bottom right it says "UNKNOWN". It does that for all options once I load in the character selection.
I recommend putting in the option to ignore the controllers installed.
when a engi's turret fires an atg missile that kills, engi himself gets kill credit for the frost relic, atleast on the mobile turrets

The timed security chest didn’t open even though I had the key,and it was under 10 min
uuuh the Spinel Tonic VFX keeps misaligning the item color outline effects and I don't know if its supposed to do that? forgot to take a screencap but I distinctly remember it
afaik thats intentional, kinda a visual effect to go with the sort of "drugged up" theme of it, messing with your vision, giving huge boosts, but having big downsides from "withdrawals"
I mean it already has a coherent visual effect with slightly altered FoV and blue tint, the displaced outlines just look wierd. its like the item outlines are the only things that ignore the FoV change

Weaker enemies which give little gold on death that are present when the player arrives on the first stage give no gold while playing with the swarm artifact. I just killed two lemurian elites (Either frost or shock, too far to tell) and neither dropped any gold at all.
can the items be fixed to not get stuck on objects above them because it they seem to be covered in gorilla glue when under a bridge or well anything i had a legendary shoot into a bridge were it was unobtainable
Found what I assume is an unintended teleporter spawn in Scorched Acres, for whatever reason it was under some ramps. Had to leave the teleporter zone to even fight the boss
Don't know if it's been said before, but you can throw your glaive on yourself as Huntress when Chaos is on if you have no other targets. Don't know if it's intended.
For some reason if you enter blue portal at some where around stage 20 you get black screened when you try to leave. You can enter the pause menu but you can't do anything once the menu is open. If you don't open the menu when in the black screen you just stay on it.

Description:
Focus Crystals work inconsistently in multi-player for non-host players. This is particularly noticeable when using Loader's Charged Gauntlet skill from medium to long range.
Steps to reproduce:
- Host a game
- Invite another player to play as Loader (henceforth "player 2")
- Start game and give player 2 an arbitrarily high number of Focus Crystals (100+)
- Begin the teleporter event
- Player 2 fully charges Charged Gauntlet while standing more than 13m from the boss
- Player 2 activates Charged Gauntlet on the boss
Expected behavior:
The teleporter boss should die in 1 hit. Level 1 Loader has 12 base damage, multiplied by the 2700% from Charged Gauntlet and 1500+% from Focus Crystals is easily higher than the health of a stage 1 teleporter boss.
Resulting behavior:
The teleporter boss takes damage consistent to a fully charged Charged Gauntlet without the benefits of any Focus Crystals.
More thoughts to come in a second message.
I've noticed that if player 2 is standing within the 13m before activating charged gauntlet, it will correctly apply the benefits of the Focus Crystals. I've also noticed that in both single- and multi-player, the host player will always benefit correctly from Focus Crystals no matter how far away they start from the enemy. I believe the root of the problem is that Focus Crystal benefits are being calculated server-side and not client-side. So when a non-host player successfully attacks an enemy, they don't receive the benefit of their Focus Crystals unless the host-player "sees" player 2 as being within 13m of their target. This is a problem mainly for Charged Gauntlet as the nature of the skill makes it incredibly unlikely that player 2 is "seen" as being within 13m by the host unless player 2 specifically positions themselves with this interaction in mind. It sort of kills the fun of Loader in multi-player, as if you have a moderate number of Focus Crystals as a Loader and non-host player, it is more damage effective to stand right next to targets to use Charged Gauntlet than it is to play the class the intended way by grappling as fast as possible at enemies to do more damage with it.

There's a naturally spawning Wandering Vagrant only 5 minutes in to a Rainstorm run. I'm fairly certain that's not supposed to happen.
I fell off of Sirens Call and dodged the bottom box, so I am falling infinitely now and cannot return to finish the TP. I fell off trying to get to the spire below the stage on the left side looking out toward the ledge.

Been having an issue recently with Teleporter boss rewards spawning out of reach while using the Artifact of Command. Had one that spawned up on a wall and didn't fall to an accessible spot and was too high to access. Then today I had one spawn inside of a log on Wetland Aspect. Here is a screenshot of the second one.

Not sure if anyone reported this, but after you try to kill the shopkeeper (from blue portal), and go to void portal, the game screen goes black, and stuck forever, and, if you go to menu, and try to play the game again, all animations get bugged. This happened in stage ~30.

Risk of rain multiplayer has been lagging super bad for me since last night. Usually I can't even enter any games, but one time I just waited. I ended up getting into the game as engineer, but is was mostly unplayable. The weird thing is; pings, interactables and turret placements were instant, with no lag between the action occuring on my friends side. (I've restarted and reinstalled a couple times already)
Tonic affliction doesn't seem to be applying. I only noticed this when using the command artifact, so I'm not sure if that's important

I was doing a monsoon run and when I spawned into the next stage which was the roost I ended up spawning into the ground. I tried jostling my way out but I was completely stuck and ended up dying to a magma worm. I It happened on the side of the map with the like downed saucer on it. I think, that's the only glimpse I saw of it before the camera plunged itself underground with me

i just did the MUL-T grenade launcher one twice in one run and neither of them gave the challenge complete, one was shrine of mountain, the other just spawned a lot

Why the hell do spider mines only track teammates in chaos, and why do they have an INFINITE track range?

Punched a brass contraption on loader causing me to be stuck hitting it over and over again. I was gaining armor quickly and couldn't leave the animation.
Don't need an image for this. command artifact breaks the item spawn so that if your close to a wall or ceiling, the items from beating it will just spawn inside the wall or ceiling. Then after reaching it (if it's possible) POOF! the item spawns where it's meant to. This honestly ruins runs for some of us and it could use a fix.
When i get to the hell map and the boss portal is in the cave the items always get stuck up on the roof so i cant get to them.
I don't have footage, but I was playing huntress with the new auto attack and 4 leeching seeds, with no debuffs on while attacking a clay templar and was not healing. Don't have delayed healing or anything else

Multiplayer is unplayable for my friends and I because it currently lags like crazy. It lags in character selection and once the game starts everyone spectates the host until they join in and then you can't even deal damage to enemies.
It's weird as it only seems to affect the people joining and not the host. We tested it with different hosts and the issue is the same.
For some reason, in multiplayer when i entered the blue portal, this was my view, with an infinite falling (Using Loader as you can see, the other character was Mercenary)

I'm not sure at what stage it happens, but if you enter a lunar portal at a later stage (15+ I think) and try to leave the lunar portal the game will turn into a black screen and nothing will happen. You can still pause the game and edit settings and stuff but that pretty much ends the run.
I ran into an issue using kin in the void zone, we aren't seeing any monsters in multiplayer.

So im pretty sure theres a bug where you dont get the skin from obliterating yourself at the oblisk, unless you have to do it in a certain time frame where you speedrun it or you have to do it on the first portal that shows up. Im a bit of a goat at obliteraing myself in anything but since Ive done it multiple times and still havnt gotten the most holy grail of any game , a skin im left with no reason to continue to obliterate myself
When spawning into Scorched Acres I sometimes get stuck in the terrain. It's happened twice and always happens on the ramp spawn point.
When spectating cooldown timers are not updating. They are always showing as all abilities as fully available.
I'm not sure if anyone else has reported this, but Mul-T's grenade launcher will not unlock. I tried this with and without different artifacts and on all difficulties.
The ceremonial dagger effect (not the item, the actual homing daggers) don't have a material or proper shader applied and appear pink in-game

Started yesterday. Logged off after a couple of hours i booted the game again and my profile just got deleted.
My first ever time in the Artifact room/challenge loaded me in semi floating, unable to move or shoot. All I was able to do was look around until I was killed.
On a later run, after putting in the code, my screen turned black and all of a sudden I was at the main menu.
Have completed both of Mul-t's challenges numerous times throughout numerous runs on all three difficulties and none of them are completing said challenges.
Spawned in, 4 man, stuck floating on fire/hot map at the hidden water cliff launch spot. Not the first time, happened on the big servitor egg map too a while ago (sorry v bad at map names lol)
Not sure how to provide proof but uh, my brother got "Never Back Down" (the Focused Convergence challenge), but not the normal way. He died for 4 stages in a row, and every time it was before we started the teleporter event. I mean, I guess it's not a bug? If he never entered the teleporter radius, he technically never left it. It doesn't seem intended, but it was pretty fucking funny that he got the achievement 10 minutes after he went to sleep lol.
I didn't get a screenshot of this but when a parent enemy tried to attack me with the slam attack, I pushed it back with the default rex knockback and it produced a lot of error prints in the chat box.

Just sacrificed to the blood shrine, worked properly, used my foreign fruit, and was able to use the blood shrine the 2nd time right away, except it didn't take away my hp like it should've, so I used it a third time and same thing, it didn't take away my hp. There was another blood shrine on the stage and I attempted to do the same thing and it took away my hp each time like it should've, so idk.
it was on Sirens call with Engineer, dunno if that'll help
Just completed a 21 Stage Run as Engineer with no lunar items. Somehow earned the challenge for completing as commando on 20 stage run with no lunar items in addition to lucky clover
Not sure if this a bug or intended, but after doing the trial for metamorphosis, my character did not change back into my original one, and kept me as the randomized character I entered the trial as. (I was playing as mercenary, randomized to artificer. Monsoon difficulty if any of that helps)
Just had my game Lock up after loading from one stage to the next, if i hit escape i can see the previous area but if i click on return to menu it shows the next area, this happened when i was at stage 22, 140mins in ish i was commando on drizzle with Artifacts of Honor, and Command
I tried loading another Run after that and had no projectial animations, no explosion animations, no damage numbers, no text
Shrines, chests and the rusted box are able to be spawned in the ground is Sky Meadows.
This was specifically in an area where there is a door that opens to the underside of the map.
So I'm 30 ish rounds into a drizzle run and have an invisible entity perma procing ukelele, and also my Audio has left the building (Edit: I left that stage via the teleporter on round 34 and my screen went black, Its been about 3 min and hasn't transitioned stages)
Was playing with Artifact of Sarcrifice (items are dropped from monsters, but there are no chests), when got to Gilded Coast found a small chest that you could by and get an item.

If you're facing towards the big cliff on the map, the crevasse is above the playable area to the right
when engineer turrets die they can drop items with the artifact of sacrifice and it can be spammed by replacing a turret every time it comes off cooldown for infinite items
well stacked solo run on monsoon, got to 21 trying to go and obliterate on Commando with beads. I used the teleporter and instead of going to the next stage like normal, black screen. stage 21 was getting buggy where mobs were instant popping in a weird way. I can pause and it shows the last frame of the last stage but cant resume at all or it freezes until i press escape again. not too mad about it but it basically instantly trashed my run and might need to be looked into.
edit: The game ended up being softlocked this way and cant complete any stages even from 1 with the same result of a black screen. All text animations (damage, crits, healing, and even world text) are missing, and enemy death animations are missing (they just pop out of existence). Restarting the game brings it back to normal.
Not sure if this is considered a bug or not, but it feels pretty bad. When using the Thermal Harpoons on the Engineer, it resets the cooldown of the right click ability (Spider Mines, in my case). This means that, if I use Thermal Harpoons (3 second cooldown per charge) every time I have two charges of it, I will never gain a single charge of Spider Mines (8 second cooldown per charge). Related, but might be intended behavior: When painting targets with Thermal Harpoons, the cooldown pauses. Which means that if you hit shift when there is a quarter-second left on the Thermal Harpoon charge, you have to leave and reenter or launch one less missile than you probably should have expected.
Engineer Turrents could not target Twip-Twip, they were about a shield drop distance away from the boss. Attempted respawning them, still could not target twip-twip. I have a screenshot from right before the fight if this is of any assistance.

In this run i had (1) Focused convergence, but the size was at minimum, as if i had 4 stacks of it
I could play Risk of Rain 2 Yesterday even after the free trial ended. The way I did it was to not exit from the character selection menu and constantly playing. Although it did break after I went to the main menu. Just saying.
Also when you play Multiplayer with 4 people and they all leave the difficulty remains the same meaning you would play alone with the difficulty of playing with 3 other people which in reality is a pretty cool thing since you gain x4 items
sometimes with the trial of command the teleport boss dont drop item after i kill him

small bug but currently the squid polyp turrets can spawn on planes unreachable by characters or enemies(under the ground on other hidden platforms, or on platforms that intercept other platforms)
Hey I'm jumping in here just to say that I have encountered a possible bug, dun know if it's known or not
So I was on abyssal depths, activated teleporter, two magma worms spawn but no healthbar or boss name, nothing. The item reward appeared immediately although the worms are still alive.
When teleporter finish charging, it doesnt let me through cause the worms are still alive, so they are still treated as bosses, but the same time are not treated as bosses??
At around round 44-45 while using kin (at least on drizzle) too many enemies spawn and slow the game down, and if multiple enemies die at a time it results in a crash.
it is a game crash nothing to do with my computer itself as im able to use programs freely in the background before or during the crash
So I got a bug where I went to the Bazaar between time on the first stage and I used a lunar seer to get Gilded Coast, but then I went to the void fields instead. Then, when I came back to the Bazaar between time on stage 3 it only had one lunar seer available to buy, and it was Gilded Coast

Mercenary uppercut can permalock bettles into the falling animation on most stages.
So, I was playing Mul-T and had clover and happiest mask, had commandment and swarm artifacts active, I got a copy of clay dunestrider with happiest mask, clay dunestrider used his vacuum attack when he went low, It started to pull me even if it was my minion.
@shadow shard in my expiration tougher times can cancel the damage from shrines of blood, i don't know if that is an actual bug but that is my experience
I'm not sure if its intentional, but the "Refraction Shield" will NOT BLOCK a flat amount from DoT but the total amount it does.
@red quiver He does that naturally, he pulls all targets towards him. You can see this behaviour when he's your enemy, he'll pull everything not only you. Yes, that makes him a terribly ally.
The Wandering Vagrant doesn't have consistent collision for Engineer mines (seems that Spider Mines fall through the top, but stick to the jellyfish arms?) or Huntress Rain of Arrows. Seeing as you can REX mortar it and literally stand on it, there's no reason this should be the case.
Update: Dunestriders also have mines phase through.
i know i should have taken a screen shot but has anyone else had the issue on siren's call when when you spawn the alloy worhip it just flies so high in the sky you can't hit or see it and wont come back down? also on an unrelated note i noticed with huntress i can dash through certain walls. has anyone else seen this?
boss item drop stuck inside platforms, cant get it
My friend was displayed as dead for me (and was able to move) but on his side he had 9999/676 hp. He was able to deal damages but couldn't interact with everything. Was fixed the next stage.
@signal hinge A lot of people are seeing air enemies being sent to the infinite, maybe its something related to the recent patch.
@lilac sequoia I had the same thing happen to me. i'm not entirely sure what causes it. i think it has something to do with dying as you get a heal/barrier but it happened to me yesterday.
I'm on Rallypoint Delta on the 8th stage and the bosses were two Imp Overlords. After killing them and dealing with the enemies, i saw a crate that i was going to get as soon as the charging was complete. Right after it hit 98%, i left the zone. Then i realized that it was 99% so i went back in but it got stuck there. I checked everywhere on the map. There is not a single enemy around. It's been three mins and i'm still not able to progress to the next stage.
Just got hit by an Umbra of Rex's Special (from the Vengeance artifact), and that crashed my game after around 5 seconds
Sometimes the enemies tend to be invisible during teleporter event (usually at HAHAHA difficulty) is that a bug or a feature?
also, the special's teather never went away, even after he died and the ability visually disappeared
@hollow mango There's a special type of super elite that makes all enemies near it invisible, while also slowing you down slightly if you're in the bubble

I can't get the Mul-T: Pest control i stay in the teleporter zone and kill 2 beetles but it doesn't count. even stond on the teleporter pad.

Just learned that a few other people have had the same bug. It appears to do with the Imp Overlord. They and me got stuck after we killed the Overlord. These people said that they also didn't get any drops from the boss, which is the same case for me as well.
Acrids Frienzied Leap no longer stuns enemies. I jumped onto a horde of Stone Golems only to still get attacked right afterwards.
Major game breaking bug:
Not 100% positive what triggered this but I believe one time I opened RoR2 (PC) with a controller still connected to my PC which made it so my mouse doesn't move the in-game camera at all. Playing on controller works perfectly fine but now whenever I play the game with keyboard and mouse I can't change which direction I face in-game. Navigating menus works perfectly fine and both my mouse buttons work (primary and secondary fire) I'm just forced facing one way. This means I have to play with controller if I am to play at all (which I'd prefer not to).
I've tried altering sensitivity, disconnecting/reconnecting a controller mid-game and while booting the game. I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game but even that doesn't seem to fix this issue 😕
It used to work perfectly fine, this issue didn't arise from the artefact update, I've been dealing with this for a couple months now, forced to play with controller.
every once in a while ive noticed the music either reset or, on one occasion, stop entirely mid track. this has happened on several stages, nothing major but thought i should leave it here

happened today as i was farming for coins, i spawned in somewhat near where i am in the pic but sprinted immediately after spawning so idk? i could attack enemies too
I posted this in #ror2-tech-support but it could be a bug. I'm having an issue where my sound cuts out for a few seconds every 20-30 seconds or so, it's really annoying me and preventing me from having an enjoyable experience, i already tried updating/reinstalling the audio drivers but that hasn't fixed my issue.

The Challenge "Automation Activation" unlock requirements are glitched.
Started a run as Loader and bought a turret and it completed the challenge.
I had played a bit before with huntress and bought a few turrets. The "in a single run." limitation doesn't seem to work.

isnt a bug, but i feel like it isn't intentional. sacrifice + breach the cell can equal unlimited items and time/difficulty is frozen if you have sustain for outside of protected zones. Is that intended?

Getting above stage 20 the chance for the chance for crash. The game can't keep up with enemies and explosions
somehow the game started attack targets that didnt exist (using razorwire and hellfire) and at a significantly higher rate than hellfire procs. occured during teleporter event. attempting to transition to the next stage crashed the game
I keep having the game crash every 30ish minutes while playing and the game doesnt give me a crash report or anything it just closes
so, i dont know if this is intentional or not, but when choosing an item, pressing escape pauses instead of exiting the item selection menu
So artifact of Swarms is bugged on PC. It works just peachy for the 1st time you select it while playing, but after death/obliteration it just doesnt spawn as many monsters as intended (1 boss etc. and normal mob spawns) on the next playthrough, HP is still halved from what me and my friend noticed. The only way to fix it so far that we found is to restart the game (remaking the lobby doesn't fix it). It seems to always break when you use the combination of Swarms and Sacrifice artifacts (Swarms+Sacrifice+Command also breaks it). We tried it with just 1 person selecting the artifact, 2 people selecting it and it doesn't make any difference. Not sure if it was reported.
just had a shrine constantly at $0 and giving only red items while having the Command Artifact active, has this been reported? I've made some videos of it
AWU launches the solus probes out of itself so fast the hit the ground and die immediately (except the last one). I think they're pushing each other out of the way faster than they can move.
im assuming the choose your own items artifact item thing getting stuck on and in literally everything is a known bug

They were messing with something in Cheat Engine? Yeah, a bug report might not be useful, considering that yours was caused through tampering, unless this could actually happen through normal play.

So there is one bug with the squid turrets,aurilonite,and happiest mask. So I dont know what the game sees as if the aurilonite you obtain as a ally aswell as squid turrets but if you have the happiest mask the ghosts will be trying to kill aurilionite and aurilionite will be killing the squid turrets and the ghosts
I just killed the bazaar vendor so extremely fast (10 charges of capacitor and gesture of the drowned) that he didn't even play the death animation or kick me out of the shop. The game is now frozen on a black screen after having grabbed the portal to the next stage. I can pause the game and it show's me the portal, but its frozen
unpausing just freezes the pause screen until I pause again

Hello I am Having a horrible problem, I can't use my mouse in the main menu" i also did not have my controller plugged in at all" and so i couldn't navigate through the menu, I tried to fix the prblem by reinstalling the whole game but it just made it worse by deleting my progress. I lost 200 hours worth of progress, I don't mind trying to re get it all but i can't play the game because i an not navigate through the menu and mouse not showing up..... PLs help
there is a bug with
Lightning jump, if you get launched by something like the launch pads and/or various attacks and then do the jump right afterwords, you lose the ability to move until you hit the ground

Joking aside, in a mutliplayer game with some friends, it seems our lovable Acrid managed to become spider-man. Not sure if this is intended for them to be able to stand on the Teleporter prongs or not.
Fell through kill floor Siren's Call. Took the Alloy boss with him, fell off at some point and could not get back. Turned into hyper movement mercenary with no defined body structures 😂

"Frenzied Leap. Leap into the air, dealing 550% damage and STUNNING enemies..." Acrid's Frenzied Leap no longer seems to stun, at all. I did a test run comparing the effects of Acrid's Caustic Leap and his Frenzied Leap on various enemies, including Stone Golems, and while Caustic Leap still stuns enemies, Frenzied Leap does not. Hopefully this can be resolved.
Game went blackscreen after 28 stages in easy. When I hit escape, it took me to the pause menu, but froze every time I hit resume. I could navigate through settings fine.
Everything these printers print immediately falls into the abyss. Maybe adjust the orientation and spawnpoints a bit.
My friend has had this issue since day 1 and can hardly get to the 2nd map, every time he uses a portal he falls through the map on the next stage but I see him standing still

For some reason, and I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but Loader's M2 will not work at all at times. It will get stuck in walls and have a perpetual cooldown or just wont let me use it at all

Can't seem to unlock the Scrap Launcher for MUL-T. I've killed several pairs of Beetle Queen tele-bosses, and still dont have it. Unsure if its because the way the teleporter zone spawns, but it seems that the small delay in the teleporter zone expanding is the reason it doesn't unlock.
Known issue, MUL-T challenges do that sometimes.
Devs are aware and are patching it. Devs are also patching the turret issue- turrets accumulate between runs in the challenge, which is unintended behaviour.
So in testing some things with command, how items stack and whatnot, I noticed an interaction that may not be a bug but it was a strange interaction. In testing, I was trying to make an "infinite" blast shower build and I had 11 fuel cells and 9 gesture of the drowned. My group decided to go to Void Fields, standard run for us. But I noticed that blast shower actually gets rid of the protection you get in the bubbles, so I had blast shower activating nearly as often as the damage ticks. This made it so that I was at half health up until I died.
Thanks @grizzled talon. I noticed that for a split second, when the teleporter is starting, the "Enter The Teleporter Zone" thing flashes, telling me that i was correct.
currently doing a run with the spite, sacrifice, swarm, and soul artifacts and it seems that swarm is not working properly
works on rank-and-file enemies, just not on teleporter bosses, AWU, etc.
Chests still appear in Aurelionite's realm with sacrifice artifact on. This is the second time I have been to this area in this run, and also am using the command artifact.
as huntress, i phase blinked backwards on rallypoint delta and ended up out of bounds, i fell back into the stage however
RoR2 using up 100% GPU while on title screen (I have a rtx 2060)
the Engineer: Zero Sum challenge appears to count turrets as enemies, as does the sacrifice artifact
im pretty sure sacrifice counts everything, including players
the latest update removed the delete profile option

not a bug report but an issue, some items fall off the stage due simply to chests / shrines / pool being on the edge of stage
couldn't pick up the item cause the portal spawned on top of it
So I've been having this issue since updating, but whenever I join my friend's lobby, I can't pick a character, and the right side of my screen is bugged. Whenever I host, I can pick everything, but I can't see anybody in the lobby and I can't actually start the game. I've tried reinstalling the game multiple times, moving hard drives, verifying the game files, running as administrator, port forwarding the game, and pretty much everything I've looked up. I just want to be able to play with my friends.
Recycler often just turns the item into..the same item again. If this isn't a bug, it makes the item pretty worthless.

i was able to get the chainsaw for mul-t but the queen beetle one is bugged. the 'one-second bosskill' for artificer is also bugged. i had several less then 1 second kills with the artificers and it didn't unlock anything.
EDIT: i did get the MUL-T imp kill quest by killing an imp that wasn't a teleporter boss
i was able to get the engineer 5sec teleport kill by doing the artifact of vengance run. i think i killed the 'clone' by activating the artifact with the shard.
will need to test if i can unlock the one second boss kill for the artificer with other creatures that the game recognizes as bosses (alloy worship unit and the clones)

Not a bug per say, but still a really annoying problem i just encountered
On the screen, you can see the teleporter situated there in wetland aspect - right next to the wall.
Upon activating it, it spawned the boss on the complete other side of the wall.
the fact it did not spawn on the same side as me cost me time for absolutely no reason and simply because the teleporter zone was out of my area of reach
The problem here is necessitating players without sufficient jumping ability to waste time to even be able to reach the boss - I could not even shoot him.
Needing to leave the teleporter zone to even reach the boss shouldn't happen imo
I don't know if this has been reported yet but the L3 and R3 buttons aren't working when using a ds4
I have found a weird workaround for it, though
unbinding all the buttons in ds4windows then rebinding the sticks to buttons in the dpad... which is very weird. it even gets recognized as "l3" and "r3"
Not sure if reported already but I was doing a run with command and I believe sacrifice (enemies drop items). Hit stage 22 and items stop appearing as picked up in chat box but the top inventory bar was updating. Game blackscreened and after alt-tabbing the game had paused while still on 22 with the mouse locked in place. Your game won't be able to run from that point onwards- it's stuck in a constant error loop.
And I think if you return to the main menu, your game will crash? You might as well stop the run.
Your future runs should be fine, it's just that for some reason, your game is still trying to confirm that you have the achievement, despite it having no reason to.

i think the autoattacks from the "visions of heresy" lunar item are not affected by the glass artifact. i played mercanery
so i started a run on drizzle as a commando to unlock his skills and artifacts, and i found out that after getting artifact of metamorphosis and becoming other survivor you still can finish his challenge to beat 20 stages without lunar items
if you do the commando roll in between the rock and the wall to the right on the second level (idk what the name is) you go out of bounds

I unlocked "automated activation" upon activating my first turret in a run. I had been trying for this achievement earlier and I didn't get it immediately then, so I think it accidentally checks for the 6th turret in a play session instead of in a run.

It's a SUPER rare scenario in which an Overgrown 3D Printer appears in the Artifact area. The devs are currently aware of this.

They're not leaving it in. This is a direct exploit. Nor should they really have any reason to leave it in.

The Artifact is in group on its own when used as a Command Artifact (much like Pearl and Halcyon). Maybe they'll make it so that 3D printers function in the same way?
Or the much better fix would be to just remove Overgrowns from that place.

Two days ago I was playing loader with my friend and melee attacked his characters(huntress) dead body and the attack went crazy and acted as if it had infinite attack speed
Me and my friends have been playing this game for awhile, But recently we've been having trouble when it comes to item spawns from teleporter events. We've had runs where half of the items decided to spawn inside of a wall or ceiling resulting in a huge brawl for 2 items. I've had similar things happen when I was doing a solo run with the sacrifice artifact on. Enemies like wisps or jellyfish would be floating just under the roof and the item would spawn in the roof, Unable to be accessed.
The translation in french is not very understandable sometimes like for example in the menu to get the skins

After using a Shrine of order and having the goat hoof removed, my friend found it also took his entire leg with it, not swapping the model back out for the hoof
also, found that sometimes the royal capacitor will not remove your arm, may have something to do with a glitch after swapping equipment around so often

I dont know if this is a bug, but I was playing on the new artifacts map with the giant sphere boss in the middle with the artifact keys and all, and i picked up two articfact keys in a row because i wanted to use one and then the other right after, bu the boss took both keys at the same time and only took the same amount of dmg as one key does
My "ping target" key unbinds itself every time I launch the game. Going into the settings menu and checking the bindings shows that it's still bound to clicking the right stick, but I have to re bind it for it to start working again. I'm using a nintendo switch pro controller on steam, default bindings/settings.

There is a bug that spawns teleporter rewards inside rocks making them unable to get. Happened to me and a friend 3 times in an hour.

@signal arrow I'd bet your issue is the same as I'm having. Command seems to have an issue that the "item" has no collision detection on the way up and will sometimes get stuck in things. Your item is most likely in the rock above the teleporter
There's a faint green glow in the ceiling where mine is. This also happens when chests are right under things, but those are usually still reachable
@gusty falcon that's what I'd think but I had a run with someone else yesterday where the other player glitched into the ground to see if he could find the item and it wasn't there, maybe it fell to the void?
so i cant get a screen shot for it, but the game will no longer launch, the unity program pops up and then the game crashes before i even get into the menu

It'd be really shitty, especially if it doesnt work, but clearing your cloud save and then doing the uninstall/reinstall might fix. Assuming you were previously able to run it, there may just be an issue with your save. Don't quote me on that though
I never saved to the cloud I don't think, I updated my system and the game worked yesterday just fine
I think it defaults to on so it reinstalls your save when you reinstall. Have you tried the "verify integrity of game files..." option?

When I tried to open the Vengeance artifact with my friends, there were 3 of Dio's best friends in my inventory. My clone fell down and died, after which it was reborn down there and continued to fall. Because of this, he did not respawn and we could not beat him. GG pls fix

So I found out about this bug with Mul-T where you could throw a stun grenade skill and then immediately run over the enemy to effectively and permanently stun them.
However this only works with Beetles for some reason?

items always get stuck in walls, especially on multiplayer when multiple items spawn. We had a run with three people, and we had a challenge of the mountain, but we only ended up getting one item because the rest were stuck in the wall and unreachable

Hi! I love your game and I've really enjoyed binging this during the quarantine. I'm especially interested in loader! So after a large sum of hours I've found 2 re-creatable bug with him, (one of them might apply for all) Bug#1 loader's m551 pylon with clip through any floor anywhere if you aim straight down and activate the ability. Bug#2 When the player walks of a ledge without jumping, you can hold/press your jump button and the the ground animation for jumping infinitely until you hit the ground.

Got 2 twisted glass and my game wouldn't load the next stage, I was able to press esc and shut down the run at the 100 minute mark sadly.... Nothing more painful than having to manually shut down a good run.
Using Rex's default Utility on Aqueduct pots makes them disappear. No explosion, no collision, yet they can still weigh down pressure plates.

pretty sure this might be reported by now, a lot of times the item the boss drops (at the teleporter) gets stucks behind terrain. Probably not intended.
- This is produced whenever the Artifact of Command is on.
In random spots of vertical/sloped terrain on various stages Commandos slide makes you clip through. Either putting you inside the floor or sending you through the map (killing you with Frailty on or just reducing your health)
Got this weird bug with Acrid, only had 6 items but as soon as I picked up that 3rd Soldiers Syringe, it busted my primary attack for the run. Couldn't do anything but the first swipe.

Had like 200+ items causing my game to black screen and freeze when i tried to leave the bazaar menu still worked quit to menu and started a new run where all particle effects and bullets did not render and black screen when i tried to go though another portal

If you play multiplayer games in Korean, the server becomes very unstable. So, the friends who are playing multiplayer games with me don't move in my screen, and we soon die because of dot damage which the reason is unknown.

even though it's not in known issues, several days of attempts and just few minutes ago I did another attempt and it was 100% certain kill with preon, in fact I killed 3 overlords with a single explosion, didn't count
@winter elm guaranteed chests still spawn with sacrifice (4 normal chests in gilded coast, legendary chest in abyssal depths and preon chest in rallypoint delta)

As an engineer it showed me that I've completed the achievement "100 calculated" but when going to loadout or achievement, it is still locked and I've done it again a couple of times but nothing happens, like for the game it is done, but in the same time it is still locked. Any ideas?

Every report of no tp i see was actually just user missing it.
there are a few spots on this map where it's hard to see portal, but I have never encountered a situation where it does not spawn and I played a lot;
- check on top of the main area, teleport can be hidden there
- check on the island, it can be both on top level or on bottom level (you have to jump down, it's below the level of the natural bridge which you use to go to island and it's not seen from above unless you look directly at it)
- check behind the door in the main area (only if it's open)

it always spawns, I can guarantee you, over 500 hours in the game, not a single time I have seen it not spawn, just learn spawn locations, you probably just don't know every spawn location and miss some of them every time
It's nice that I'm being treated as a new player when ive been playing since before hidden realms, so you know Im pretty sure I know where it spawns. This was rare in hidden realms and I did say something about it back then, but now its happened 5 times since the update

what matters - seed number, what stage you encountered problem on (would be better if it was stage 1) and if you visited any special stages in between (lunar shop, gilded coast, etc., visiting any of them affects generation of next stages)
it should be seed from the run where you encountered problem (seed determines how stages are generated - so if you create a run with exactly your seed and visit exactly same stages as you, then I'll have exactly the same levels as you had in that run)
but how do i get the seed number with the noit tp spawn?
well, you both claimed it's pretty common for you, so just wait until it happens and then copy seed number

Alt-tabbing back and forth in fullscreen with the Steam overlay enabled makes it very likely that pressing Shift (default hotkey, Shift-Tab) preserves the 'tab' input and immediately brings up the overlay, while also locking your key inputs in place in the game - if you're moving when this happens, it'll keep you moving in a direction until you alt-tab back and forth and either activate the overlay again (by pressing shift) or cancel it (by pressing tab), and pressing the direction again won't fix it consistently the way it usually does in other games.

Hey guys, I got a run screwed last night. At stage 15's teleporter, a magma worm or such boss appeared, I killed it, the teleporter got to 99% but it was stuck there untill I quit the game some many minutes later. The boss HP bar dissappeared, he died, and the item drop never happened. I recorded a clip of the situation and the items, etc

If you play with artifact that makes only one type of mobs per stage, the void stage will have NO enemies at all
I don't know if it's a know mechanic or an unintended bug, but with Acrid, if you press sprint right after pressing M1, it resets his auto, meaning you can have an insane attack speed at the beginning. It's not that worth it later since the third attack does more damage but it melts down first bosses

Hello, recently (in this patch) I discovered if the teleporter is nearby or under a wall the items would drop in the wall and you have to jump in the wall just to get which makes you lose a lot of time, I was hoping you could fix that

MUL-T: Pest Control challenge is broken, I've killed 2 queens several times without leaving the teleport zone, and I didn't get the challenge.
So apparently the Kin issue happens to some people but not others, or not consistently. Maybe it's making the kin type an enemy that can't spawn in Void Fields or the director thinks is too expensive.

I had a run soft-lock because I launched one of the boss wisps into the stratosphere with a merc dash. I think it was trying to back up but did so comparing to the relative speed of the dash. It went so far that missiles couldn't reach it after everything else on the map was dead.

magma worms sometimes hit the world borders and die instantly @wind furnace it can happen on siren's call but i've seen it happen on sky meadows

3 Beetles spawn from a single queens gland with swarm artifact
Engineer can swarm teammates with Spider Mines in multiplayer!
Requirements:
- Spider Mines
- Thermal Harpoons
- Artifact of Chaos (friendly fire)
How to Reproduce:
- Start a private game with Artifact of Chaos enabled, and at least one guest playing Engineer with Spider Mines and Thermal Harpoons equipped
- Have the guest Engineer lock on to the host player and fire at least one Thermal Harpoon
- From this point, any Spider Mines laid by the guest Engineer will lock on to the host player and chase him down from anywhere on the map!
There may be other modes where this works, but I was able to reproduce this consistently with a friend last night. This bug only seems to work for guests - hosts cannot lock Spider Mines onto guests in the same way.
This may need to be patched soon - expect a lot of griefing from engineers who know this trick in the meantime! 😆

Getting a bug where no items spawn from teleporter boss when using command artifact a few times now. No obvious reasoning just randomly it won't spawn greens on death. Makes the sound effect etc but no items spawn. Playing as 3 online multiplayer.
Did experience this a few patches ago while not using the command artifact on Wetland Aspect when triggering Shrine of the Mountain. Unknown if it is a related issue. This time was on the new Sky Meadow as well as on Rallypoint Delta.

- Shrine of Blood doesn't scale very well, after about 3 hours it still gives 500-800 gold, which is practically nothing
- Sack of the scavanger near a cliff will drop the loot off the cliff
I keep having this issue on distant roost where I just CANNOT find the teleporter sometimes. Like it just seems like it hasn't spawned at all, I just spend probably 20 minutes checking every single place on the map and it was nowhere, not even the red sparkles that I usually use to find it were anywhere to be seen. Anyone know whats up? Am I just stupid?
sometimes it's just hard, the radar will show you where the portal is fyi. Sometimes a portal can be somewhere that hides the particles too. There's a few areas on roost where you just can't see anything because it's completely behind hills/doors
I don't know if this is a bug, but I've had a run where only one Twisted Scavenger spawned instead of two with Artifact of Swarms on.
It spawned two before, so it seemed a bit strange that only one would spawn.
Possible bug: When using the artifact of sacrifice chests still spawn in the gold realm

That isn't a bug @zenith prism . Those are considered "special chests" since they spawn in the same location every time. Same with the legendary chest on Abyssal Depths.
I don't think these artifacts were tested well enough before putting them out, I usually crash using the elite spawn and double enemies but halve their health when together, I also never get item drops with the artifact that makes enemies drop items. I died after defeating 102 enemies and not one item was dropped.
Teleporter spawned Imp Overlord as boss but it wasn't acknowledged as such (no red HP bar, no extra damage from AP rounds) and the green item was dropped before killing it.
Items seem to spawn in walls/ceilings when the teleporter is near them
I've seen that posted multiple times, and I myself came to do so and have found nothing in reply, no fixes or even an acknowledgement.
On top of that, I've seen an increase in teleporters spawning near ledges and walls, making that problem worse.
This bug has happened to me and my friends a couple times now. Basically when you teleport whilst jumping in multiplayer, if you're not the host then you can glitch out and be stuck floating, unable to move or attack for the entire stage.

Activating Engineer's Thermal Harpoons resets the charge cooldown of his mines

The teleporter got stuck again at %99 after having killed the boss and when no enemies on the map. The first time, it was a group of Imp Overlords. This time, it was a group of Wandering Vagrants.
Is the mul-t challenges bugged? I am sure I killed the imp overlord with the preon accumulator, but I did not get it done.
every game asset that isn't the very terrain vanish when you are hugging certain walls. Assets that go poof include big rocks, walls, pillars, enemies, projectiles, and yourself.
The bug mentioned above only seems to manifest while hugging this specific wall while in a distance close to the teleporter. Moving away from the teleporter solves the issue, as does going off the wall.

When using the piercing abilities phase rounds and ice lance, the projectile's trajectory will sometimes not match the player's direction. This happens when I use it through terrain (Phase rounds), and enemy mobs (both)
Not sure if this is a bug, but in the Trial of Vengeance, playing as engineer, my clone seems to not be capped at 2 turrets. They have 4 turrets up rn
i think i might've broken the reliquary too, every time i use a key on the thing, it goes into this state:
due to the 40 mushrooms, neither me nor my clone can really kill each other at this point, and I think I may have softlocked myself. I think my clone's mushrooms are healing the reliquary?, and 10916/5590 health on it seems consistent w/ the aegis shield giving up to double HP, decaying
Update: using artifact keys on the reliquary no longer has an effect. It just stays at 430k/430k now.
Wait, nevermind, just realized that healthbar is my nemesis, but yea, it looks like the bustling fungus are healing the Artifact reliquary, and since I have 40 of them, the Reliquary is healed back up to full before I even have a change to put another key in, making this boss effectively unkillable.
Update: there are 6 turrets now. My nemesis has fallen off the map and presumably died, since I haven't seen an ability cast out of them for a while, but all 6 turrets are still alive and well.
This isn't really something that can be shared with a screenshot, but if a chest is too close and facing towards a rock, the item will clip through it and remain, inside it, inaccessible

Hi I didn't manage to get a screenshot but when i was in sky meadows stage 5 playing on monsoon without any artifacts i was playing engineer and i had activated a shrine of the mountain before activating the teleporter and managed to defeat the boss (overloading parent) with the hp bar disappearing from the top of my screen however no items dropped like they should have and when the teleporter had reached 99% it did not complete and i was stuck there with no solution.
Going to A Moment: Whole after the obelisk on monsoon does not grant the achievement for Survivor: Mastery for any character

I just had a bug after finishing the prismatic trials with Merc and not getting hit once, after a few tries (55ish) I went to a single player game to try out my well earned ability and had no cooldowns on equipment, which was great because I could try it out and have a lot of fun dashing wherever I pleased but is still a bit broken if its repeatable. (No idea how I did it, couldn't replicate)
i was like 3.5 hours in and i was just afking in the bulwark ambrey and allmost every enemy dropped an item and they would spawn very frequent so i stayed in there because it just seemed more efficient then playing the game the normal way

Not sure if a bug or just a quirk of the physics engine, but jumping while sprinting with wax quail + headstompers while going up certain steep hills will send you flying up very very high. On abandoned aqueduct it was high enough to hit the limit of the skybox and get me teleported back down to the ground. (if example footage would help, please ping. I have a short recording)
i got in there to do the artifact and noticed that i got regualr items with that stone item and decided to stay
not sure if this is a bug or more of me and my friends being silly, but once you run into the upper range of stages, say stage 35+, the game becomes unstable for everyone. audio stops and pops, game freezes for a moment, and some times the game crashes the clients. the run came to an end on stage 42 when i, the host, got hit with an unrecoverable freeze

A few friends and i have gone to the area, A moment, Fractured and have obliterated ourselves multiple times hoping it wasnt a bug, and we found that we did not get any skins for any of the characters
Found a Hardlight Afterburner while playing as the Artificer. Picked it up and it reset ALL of the skills. 6 Backup Mags and 8 Fuel Cells gone and gave me a stack of like 20 Hopoo feathers.
I encountered a bug dunno if its a bug where enemy dies multiple or probably infinity times the explosion go on and on and on you can explosion of gold and exp + unending bounce of ukelele and then audio suddenly stops and when I use the teleporter it freezes
I ran into a weird freeze after stage 27 i did a bulwark stage. The game didnt load the next stage when exiting. Instead leaving me frozen staring at the portal after my character disapeared. I could still pause and control menu. But i was infinitely stuck
Has anyone else been encountering stuttering as of lately? Even with the Stutterstunter mod I still get stuttering mainly when mobs spawn or picking items.
Mul-T pest control challenge not working
Getting intermittent black screen crashes which crash my GPU entirely (audio output from it and other programs using it also hang). Have attempted multiple graphics driver versions and does not seem to occur with other games so think it is only RoR2 affected.
Crash does not seem to be associated with any particular in game activity; have had the issue on Stage 1, 3(in void fields), 4, 6(in bulwark), and even in menu just after a small lost run.
Getting killed by wandering vagrant's homing explosive (the one with health) shows up as killed by "The Planet", it was after it died if that helps
Artifact of Swarms halves the gold from enemies but when enemy would drop 1 normally, it drops 0 with the artifact on. This is especially annoying on early stages. Generally I'd suggest rounding the gold up always.

I found a pretty annoying glitch today. i was trying to get "engieer:mastery", but when i got to the obelisk and obliterated myself i did not get it. I think this has something to do with the fact that i had the Beads of Fealty item. It might be something else though.

!bug I jumped as a spawned into Rallypoint Delta and now I'm stuck mid jump animation. I cannot move or attack, but can still take damage. Nothing except for dying could get me out of this state. Effectively bricked my run. The items and stuff I have are pictured in the screenshot. Only had this happen once in ~40hr of playing so not sure how hard it is to replicate but yeah, huge issue when it happens.

Yeah, command items seem to behave slightly differently from normal items, they stick to walls a lot more, and can even get stuck in ceilings if the teleporter throws them out

The Rex platform cannot be reached by any sort of monsters. If you stand on it, ground monsters will attempt to get close and will usually fall down resulting in them going up again and falling repeatedly.
Airborne enemies will not attempt to reach the platform at all. They will instead hover over the platform nearby - shooting from afar.
Not as much of a bug as maybe a forgotten thing. Loader's alternate grapple challenge consists of getting the portal in 25 minutes. This was not changed after the last update, so now instead of doing 7 stages you have to complete 8, one of which is the new 5th one, making the challenge somewhat closer to impossible simply because 8 portal events last too long.

@lost mountain Yes. It is. The Command Artifact is bugged. While usual item behaviour is to have the item be affected by gravity and drop to the ground, Command Essences do not do that.

They only drop to the ground when an item has been selected.
Keep in mind as well that the Command Essences can still be selected behind walls. You might find it tricky though if you can't get in range.
swarm spawning only one boss?
After fighting my Umbra and being stuck in his R (Tangling Growth), when the affect ended I was stuck (Floating on the ground, in the falling animation). My knockback on my Utility Skill didn't fix me, neither did taking a laser from Golem, or a glacial explosion from killing a glacial enemy. I had to kill the run 😦

I don't know if this has been pointed yet but... As Rex if you spam shift + Mouse 1 you can do very fast attacks. At first I tought they didn't do damage but if you time it right you can actually abuse the attack animation.
What can I do it just doesn't work
I do not know how it happened, but while playing as Loader trying to play through 20 stages in one run, my character got stuck in one of the walls shortly after getting out of the teleporter. I did not have much of a movement speed boost (1 goat hoof and 1 red whip), but I was immediately stuck in a wall and could not escape upon starting the stage. Would there be any option to force-respawn the player on a level in the event that something like this happens?
I just ran into a bug with the achievement to activate 6 turrets in a single run. I activated a gunner turret on stage 1 and it unlocked. It was the only one I had activated at all, and I'm barely 2 minutes into a run.
My friend got the Polyp rare item after activating 1 turrent in a run, but 5 in the previous run.
Me and my friends got this game about a week ago we are loving so much so far, however both my friends have atrocious lag that seems to have capped how far we can even get in the game (seems like we just cant get to the obelisk on normal difficulty no matter how hard we try due to lack of precision in the later levels where it really counts). My friends actually cant play the game unless I host due to the nature of the peer to peer connection system. It has gotten to the point where we have decided to wait til a patch comes out to possibly address the situation. From what I've read the lag has never been as bad as it is as of the latest patch and I hope Hopoo is working hard to fix it.
Also, we have tried the dedicated server, which has yielded better results when there was just two of us, but it seems that three of us are unable to play on the dedicated server at once. I understand that peer to peer connection may be the way this game simply handles multiplayer in-client for a while but I would hope Hopoo is aware that their dedicated server software is also broken as of the latest update.
Everytime I launch the game it doesn't save progress. I still get the achievements just no unlockables / characters stay. I'm tired of saving the lady trapped in time.
In a few of my runs after I defeat the teleporter boss only some or no items appear. I believe it could be due to collisions with terrain because it only seems to happen when objects are overhead.
I've had a ton of crashes, maybe 700% increase, over the last day.
It's really annoying, because I keep getting great monsoon runs as loader, then it crashes. The issue seems to be related to unity, except for one blue screen.

Anyone know how to beat the challenge on mercenary to unluck his secondary special? Now trials have random artifacts in it, its impossible to get this challenge done

this isnt that big of a bug but you can fall from any height you want as long as you dodge roll right before you hit the ground as Commando
literally can't do monsoon all artifacts challenge because risk of rain 2 likes to turn into a slideshow every 30 seconds

Please look over some translations, because some skills aren't very well described or there are grammatical errors:
- in the german version of RoR2 Huntress' new M1 "Flurry" and her normal Special "Arrow Rain" have the same Name: Pfeilhagel
- in the german version of RoR2 in the overview section of the Huntress, it says her normal M1 "Strafe" can ONLY be used while sprinting but that is not true.
- Both of Engineers mine-variations say that they deal damage "when an enemy walks nearby". There is on word about the new M2 "Spider Mines" seeking out nearby enemies or being stickable on Allies/Turrets/Enemies.

Brief Description:
When a teleporter is underneath a surface (such as a tree branch in wetland aspects, or a ramp walk way in scorched acres) upon defeating the boss while the Artifact of Command is activated, the selectable green item will go either entirely or partially through surfaces. I had it go inside the ramp, and only part way sticking out and when i selected my item, it fell through the ramp back on top of the teleporter. On wetland aspect, the selectable interactable item went all the way inside a tree trunk and I could not interact with it, not get it loose from the surface
Brief Description:
I don't know if this is technically a "bug" or not, but a 3D printer spawned near enough to the edge of the map on Titanic Plains, and upon putting an item into the printer, it shot the item out and right off the map to be lost. Essentially then taking an item, and giving nothing in return.
I attempted to recreate the first glitch, and you can see the item's green glow inside the branch, but it's stuck in there.
There may be a bug with Frost Relic not damaging enemies when active when floating with Artificer's ENV Suit near enemies.
Clay Dunestrider's Happy Mask's Ghost will kill all ally players. When he does the low-health suction.
Does anyone else have the problem of finding an environment logbook, going into the logbook menu, and not having a circular model of the map like the other environment logs? That happened to me when I obtained the Gilded Coast logbook. There's also a problem on my game where the Ukuleles model in the logbook menu is broken, and when you move the screen, it dissapears. There was also an odd thing that happened in a Monsoon Run, On stage four Sirens Call, I activated a shrine of the mountain, activated the teleporter, multiple Magma Worms spawned, and two Berzerker Pauldrons came out of the teleporter before the bosses died.
Was doing a run with Vengeance on, and got Dio's best friend. Umbra of loader fell off the map, died instantly, and resurrected below the map, making it impossible to kill or even reach them. the boss bar stayed, the little arrow and dot pointing towards them stayed, everything.
Brief Description:
Using engineer's harpoons resets the spider mine's cooldown. So if it's at 2 seconds left, and you use harpoons, it resets to 8 seconds again.
Was on a run with 2 friends on abyssal depths. Suddenly they lost connection but more like a desync. Both died quickly not being able to react. I think it may have been due to brillliant behemoth + Shrides of vision on huntress. screenshot of after lobby
Please supply some relief to the game becoming unstable as the run becomes long. Mostly only scavengers spawn and then the game freezes. For me it is usually between rounds 40-55
The collision for walls and floors has degraded this patch. Multiple times in my play session tonight I had items AND players falling into the ground or wall. This is becoming a problem because items in walls or high up are impossible to get depending on your character.
Dunno if this has been reported but I just beat the boss at this location and didnt receive an item for killing them. Probably got stuck in some geometry.
Just finished stage 8 monsoon multiplayer and the boss is "dead" the teleporter is "finished" but wont hit 100% since it still says boss is at 0hp. Rather frustrating since it wastes two peoples time especially when we were about to obliterate. Hopefully this will be fixed soon. @fiery garnet
The Huntress' laser glaive sometimes doesn't spawn wisps as it should with the artifact of soul enabled

the void has absolutely no monsters spawning so I'm just getting free ezpz items. I'm using these artifacts in this 2-player quickplay run: Command, Honor, Sacrifice, Kin, and Swarm. Image is here just in case I named wrong artifacts
With kin there is a small bug in the Void fields, where it chooses an enemy for that stage, but if that specific enemy is not chosen to be added to "the cell", nothing gets spawned

It seems like Headstompers v2 bugs out and sends me flying sky high on some jumps, like 5-15% of the time, typically after I have built extra movement speed items.
Just throwing this out there but with the Swarm Artifact. Some of the extra enemies that spawn due to it either give 1-2 gold and some dont give any gold at all.

unless the lost distance jumping into an incline passively stacks, and then is released all at once, I can't magine that is a cause for a bug
❗ When the Games starts you cannot acces the Menu etc. with your keyboard or mouse [configurations of the game keys: "unbound"] - only with a controller. When the controller is unplugged you cannot acces the game menu at all. Only option is to plug in the controller -> deactivate in device-manager -> restart pc -> reactivate in device-manager.
My friend and i had 1 Convergence total, but the teleporter zone acted like we had 3 (in both the radius and the charge timer). We suspect this is due to the boss never entering the teleporter zone, it went straight toward a gunner turret on the other side of the map
While playing on Siren's Call, my buddy playing as Mercenary was attacking the Alloy Worship Unit, and used a Blinding Assault to push it into a wall under the kill/"warp to solid surface" plane. After killing it, he used a Whirlwind, and was never placed back on solid ground, seemingly passing through the kill/"warp to solid surface" plane.
This caused him to fall endlessly into the void, and because of my untimely death, we were never able to access the teleporter; he was to be stuck, infinitely, falling into nothingness as he served his karmic punishment for destroying innocent fauna all in the name of riches.
Just kill the scavenger, his bag drop so I opened it. Items flew into the ceiling and gone forever

I noticed that engineer's turrets have a chance to drop items with artifact of sacrifice on both when they are killed and when engineer place down a third turret, I don't think it is meant to be a feature
hi I'm trying unlock mul-t's scrap launcher, i have already defeat 2 beetle queens without leaving the teleporter zone more than 1 time but it's not unlocking me the skill and i can't figure why

I'm not sure if this has been addressed or brought up, but I've had three instances now where all in-game sound cuts out and deafens until I close and re-launch the game. It's seemingly random, as the first time was in the first round of a wave, while the latter two times were in the middle of round 4 and 5 of two separate runs

Don't know if it's been reported or if it counts as a bug but I think you can infinitely farm items in lunar bazar or wherever time is paused using eigneer to spawn in endless turrets with artifact of sacrifice active.
Unknown Command Essence? It was just normal white when you used it.
