THE CUBE BLACKSCREENED HER into obivion
On the Distant Roost, teleporter did not spawn multiple times through 3 runs. We checked all possible locations with no dice.
(It has happened to me multiple times on solo runs as well.)
A possible pathing oversight specific to Distant Roost and Wandering Vagrant. If the map spawns with the side tunnel and you go through it, WV will try to reach you by pathing above the mountain. (Hence the "Wandering" part of its name, I suppose.)
Just had a bug where as Mul-T if I stood still and jumped I took fall damage, equal to about 10% of my health. Also jumping on top of a player, and jumping, insta tanked me to 1 health
I'm stuck in the golden zone with no more enemies, tips?
Last time I played I experienced a similar event. The boss spawed but I was unable to damage it because I don't believe all the totems spawed. I activated every one I could find but one was still missing or unreachable ending my run. Very frustrating. Anyone experience a similar issue on golden coast?

"Picking up new equipment with Gesture of the Drowned no longer fires every frame" did this fix also effect the bug where once you picked up The Backup as a multiplayer host, it would activate the item 7 million times?
After new update on Boot the game still reverts Resolution to default and sets VFX Culling Bias To Ultra
@sterile junco not 100% sure but on my first try i had a hard time re-lighting all of them due to not spotting them, and eventually failing
i am not sure if its already reported and i did not notized a fix in this patch so i want to show it. I were able to buy the item which was in the wall and it also spawned in the wall. But i were able to pick it up, even though i coudn't see it(text "pick up ..." showed up)

me and my friend activated 2 shrines of the mountain to get the achievement but nothing spawned and we didnt get it
@paper wyvern same thing happened to me with strike drones i think its if you dont have equipment when you get gesture of the drowned then pick one up it will use it thousnads of times

had an issue where a blazing imp overlord spawned but was invisible, I couldn't attack it with anything including AOE and chaining but it was able to attack me, animations still showed, it moved around, standard imp overlord stuff except not hitbox and was invisible, had to leave the game
a horde of many giant great wisps on insane difficulty. one spawned.

as commando on the distant roost map, if you shift into the tunnel area while it is blocked off (the small gap near the center) you can get stuck in the hole and not be able to move again

When i get in a single player game and have pressed E to escape the pod then my view is like this. I cant move my mouse to see what is around me or where there is to go. In a few seconds something approaches me and i die. How can i avoid this please ? Not been able to play this game at all yet.

Is the teleporter supposed to always spawn a boss? Cause I just activated one that didn't spawn any bosses whatsoever. It happened on Monsoon difficulty at around 46 minutes. The teleported charged normally and I advanced to the next level.
Broken text on the profile select screen
Just wanted to make a note that I'm unable to change the refresh rate of the game from 60hz, despite changing the fps to 120. I have a 144hz monitor, I believe this is a bug but let me know if I'm wrong. Thank you

After the changes to the difficulty director, teleporter bosses didn't spawn after 65 minutes into a drizzle run with a single mountain shrine.

Wow, you had the exact same scenario, just on a different difficulty.
One Mountain shrine, wetlands, commando and before Hahaha.
When two bosses spawn from the teleporter, if you kill one before the other fully spawns, the game acts as if you've beaten all the bosses.
Anyone else noticed a bug where the ghosts from Happiest Mask can pick up an item if they run over it, therefore just making you lose out on an item.

@elfin rover I tried it, happens when the gate is closed too. I think it's just because of the size of the entity influencing the size of the ping icon.

Well, for something to be a loop it kinda has to go back to where it began, so you can't have such a thing as "loop zero", but I get you.
Minute 14 with an altar of the mountain activated in mooson and there are no boses to be found currently at wtland

OH, it seems like enemies that die too quickly try to attack you (and fail) as ghosts with happiest mask
Deep into runs when certain ghosts in late-game spawn in hordes and despawn instantly somehow you damage yourself and it is COMPLETELY unavoidable I'm uploading something to youtube right now if any of the devs want to DM me for visual representation.. I can't be 100% sure how it's happening just a guess.

Had an issue where one of the teleporter events spawned no bosses. Some beetle queens spawned but just as normal enemies
@rotund island there's a missing a comma on line 122 of Main.txt (at least for english). It's causing this problem.
I'm not sure where to post this, but I'd like to tell development team that Japanese localization is extremely poorly done overall, and I hope they haven't paid much money to whoever the hell did that "translation". Feels like it's ruining this otherwise magnificent game.

Hitting TITLE_SINGLEPLAYER leads to nothing and will just remove all the UI from the screen leaving me with nothing

Verifying led to 2 files failing and being validated but the problem persisted

I just had a bug where no bosses spawned on a teleporter event, similar to before the patch once one got far enough into the run. 6th map (swamp map) of the run, normal difficulty, activated the teleporter with one shrine of the mountain active at approximately 22 minutes into the run.
try deleting the EN folder? risk of rain 2/risk of rain 2_data/Language then validating? @grand zenith

I've deleted all the local files, installed it again, reverified, uninstalled, installed again, reverified, removed the EN file, reverified, removed the entire Language file, reverified, nothin has changed

I only had that problem on wetlands myself. I did activate Shrines of the Mountain on other maps and it worked.
Not a major bug by any means, but you levitate on top of this little wood thing in Wetlands Aspect.

I crashed the game at 300+ min
The money rolls over after awhile and then counts down
Bosses have a chance of not spawning when hitting teleporter (Shrine of Mountain, but not sure if that matters) despite the Director fix. (Went through stage before being able to screenshot)
admittedly i think that crash might be due to "too much shit on screen" syndrome
2 different games where no bosses on early stages, water level both times

Just started a game up and had a crash.
during the swamp map area if we try to use the teleporter it wont spawn a boss at all.
Greater Wisps will continue to fire their blasts even when they've been killed.
The timer in Gilded Coast will freeze after Aurelionite dies but enemies will still spawn.

I see, odd when you get experience and items but if it's intended that's fine
new run, damage from money shrine was blocked even though i had no items. in the screenshot below, i think after 50% i regen'd, 75% was blocked and here i've just offered 93%. maybe bear stacks from previous run carried over?
this happened when i picked up bandolier on prismatic trials, the item became super sized I believe
I had the wax quail and H3AD-5T v2 and most of the time, when I jumped while sprinting I flew into space.
boss didn't spawn in the gilded coast in a 2 hour run
we popped all of the shrines really quickly and just.. nothing. Only waves of mobs kept spawning and nothing else. Game was soft locked and all 4 of us had to leave the game.
While running a prismatic trial I got the item "predatory instinct" and "bundle of fireworks" before unlocking them

I could be wrong, but I think Prismatic Trials ignore locked items so that it's fair for everyone
i was on a run earlier and the boss was a 2 mountain shrine overloading worm - as soon as it got to like 3/4 of its hp it just despawned - no death animation or anything so i knew we didnt one shot it - still got the boss items tho
I experienced two bugs in the same run today. First one was on second loop 3rd stage, the director didn't spawn any bosses on the teleporter, note this was on an imp only spawn event.
The second bug was later in one of the loops stage we killed all enemies on the map, but the teleporter wouldn't chare past 99%. No screenshot for the first one but here's a screenshot for the second one
Continue not translated to Russian
Currently experiencing an issue where my mouse has some extremely strange acceleration whilst in the game. It persists even if I switch resolutions and fullscreen modes, and it never locks my mouse into my primary monitor, so it constantly has me clicking on my second monitor.
When I enter into a match - instead of being in the menus - my mouse is constantly pulled down to the ground too. I have tested other games and I do not experience any mouse issues in those.
I will the output_log.txt with this message, but unfortunately there's nothing I can send as an image that indicates anything out of the ordinary.
accidently corrupted my file need a way to download a save and use it is that possible?

alright this is a big issue with me, but when I join a lobby by clipboard and I go into the ready up screen I see everyone that has joined but no characters and no spotlights appears on the screen, everything is normal execpt that and the ready time is locked at 0:00 and I can't select a character. URGENT

@void locust An Overloading Worm is not an elite enemy, it's a different enemy entirely. Magma Worms and Overloading Worms are the only bosses that can't be elite.

unfortunately no screenshot or anything, but in multiplayer game, activated two shrine of mountains, no boss spawn or items, was only second level
the mask that makes killed enemies friendly ghost, for the tea pot enemies they still suck in allies after they are friendly
in two games, hitting two SotM has resulted in no boss spawn, no items. 1 SotM worked. One double SotM was on monsoon, the other was on drizzle

The updated enemy spawning system seems to be causing failure to spawn bosses during the teleporter event pretty regularly. I had it happen as early as stage 2. I also saw an unusual small stone titan spawn as a regular enemy on stage 1 (3 players, rainstorm) which seems extremely abnormal
The explosive pots must count as enemies, because they grant you health when you kill them equipped with Infusion

don't have a photo but accidentally broke the game into giving me "Ifrit's Desire" which hasn't been released yet, don't really know what happened but I had something like 150-200 upgrades and everything was insanely fast paced so I don't know where it came from

Been having an issue with Ceremonial Dagger. I do not notice daggers flying around after kills anymore. Was also playing coop last night and we both had ceremonial dagger and we RARELY saw any daggers flying around. Used to be daggers pretty much everywhere and very noticeable.

hey so I was messing around with cheats had no idea what i ws doing but then I was like okay whatever gave up restarted and now I can't move my screen when I start a game
when I use a controller it works fine
I can move my screen but when i'm on keyboard mouse it doesn't work at all
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling didn't work, I'm going ot delete my files see if that works
So I went to hit the newt altar in the back cave of the abyssal depths, and I ended up clipped through a wall and stuck
So when I start up the game, I am running into an error where the the little bubble and the mouse is both active on the screen and the sensitivity is strange. I run into more errors when I start the game as well
My character will spin in circles, constantly looking down and is always trying to use the RMB move. This only started happening after I installed a gamecube adapter driver to my desktop, so that seems like its part of the issue
Apparently, the game used the artifact of kin to spawn only stone golems, the boss was a stone titan. I have no clue why it only spawned stone golems
after uninstalling the driver, the problem persisted

Wetland aspect: This rock has bugged collision, effectively making you look like you are flying when standing on it.
the artificer has a model bug (i guess if that's what you would call it) where the warbanner goes through her hover pack
i play in windowed mode and the cursor is not locked in the screen with the recent update, my mouse keeps leaving the window and the dps feels different than it was.
@nocturne crow This is not a bug, but a rare event that I've come across a few times. You can see that there's a chat message whenever it happens
Apparently whatever you wouldn't do it's impossible to do cheats 1 in the console. Though I don't think it affects many commands.
okay i literally can't play with mouse and keyboard right now
mouse controls are currently malfunctioning: dps feels really inconsistent on the menu and when i load into the game i am locked into looking down meaning i have to constantly move my camera because if i'm not moving my mouse the camera will start to move towards the down position.

Kinda confused... it said nothing killed me but I died
I pinged the center of the gate to the aqueduct (the circular plate) and each time this happened. It'd stay that same size when you went to spin the camera around too, and even my friend could see how big it was. Uncertain if this was just for that session or not, haven't double checked yet.

I don't have a picture of the thing but the imp overlord (normal one about 40 minutes in) just killed me and two others in essentially 3 chunks out of nowhere with no animation. It wasn't lag because I was hosting so yeah... It's happeneed a few times

@nocturne crow There are rare events where only specific types of enemies will spawn. There would've been a pink message in chat saying something to the effect of "[Warning] You feel the earth rumble and shake below you." There's stuff like that for other groups of enemy spawns, like Beetles, Imps, Jellyfish and so on.

Eh I’m gonna guess this is a bug but I ran into it during a huntress session, got headstompers and bird, noticed that every time I sprint jump on most slopes surfaces I launched myself into the skybox and would most of the time hit the reset layer and spawn on the ground again, isn’t an issue during early play but when it’s the hour and a half mark it can easily kill you when you get reset under something like a golem

Ran into an issue the teleporter didn't spawn on Rallypoint Delta; output log attached. (Rallypoint Delta (frozenwall) scene loaded on line 904). UI is also inconsistently sized. Steam Build 3830295.
I've also just had two runs in a row where the loot available is basically non-existent. Getting some visibility on seeds (see #ror2-feedback-and-ideas) would be fantastic to get these issues ironed out.
for the last three times i've tried to unlock the artificer class with 10 coins nothing has turned up to unlock it, every time i've had 11 coins and used the shrine to unlock the portal, gone thru and nothing isn there to unlock apart from the big blue lizard, is this bugged for me?
The boss Demon constantly teleports from the player and goes away from the teleport

because ive noticed an inherent problem with the recent reports when looking back at my footage; if you have atg missile mk. 1 and plenty of 57 leaf clover, it causes the launcher to fire more often, which scores hits, which results in more atg missile mk. 1 which results in more hits, etc etc
Encountered an issue with the money counter were it went negative after around 2 billions (probably integer overflow)
Repro steps :
- Any character in game
- Get a lot of money
- Observe the money counter going negative
However, I think it's only visual aspect, as I could manage to buy items while having negative money (and I noticed it was also already reported, my bad)
Encountered an issue with allies UI, when getting many ghosts in your team, UI has issues to process the new members, resulting having a purple "!" sign and a big health bar (sorry no picture on this pc, can provide it later if needed)
Repro steps :
- Get the happy mask
- Kill many enemies at once
- Notice that some ghosts take time to replace placeholder

I think the latest patch, which caps the FPS to 60 on launch, broke the game in Wine on Linux. Worked perfectly before this, now the frame rate is low, and the audio is sloggy. I know you don't officially support linux yet, but I thought I'd point it out anyway
when the big imp boss starts wailing on the ground if you dash away as mercenary after it manages to hit you damage continues to act as though you were standing in front of it and continues to apply damage even though your nowhere near

Anybody else sometimes encounter no boss spawn when hitting the teleporter? I'm on the second stage and I've activated two shrines of the mountain and when I activated the teleporter no boss showed.;
For what it's worth, in the previous (first) stage I had activated one shrine of the mountain successfully. Hopefully that helps narrow down/reproduce

Right, same. I just had the % on the teleporter to work down. Did see the chat messages about inviting the challenge of the mountain. The icon did appear above the teleporter. No boss health bar or anything.
@Bladdlon, i just joined this discord server to report the same bug:
Multiplayer (2 players, both engineers), Rainstorm, 14 minutes, 2nd level, it's the swamp level, activated 2 mountain shrines => no bosses showed up after activating the teleporter.
On fourth stage, up on a second level platform and managed to clip through the wall and out of bounds. Happened during a fight with a Greater Wisp that was near a wall. Either R or Shift ability caused it (can't remember the names, or which). Was able to clip back in bounds through same abilities.

Forgot to report this last night during my 8 hour run. When a massive amount of enemies die at once and a few get respawned by the happiest mask, it seems that they still try to target the player occasionally.
@naive raptor the same thing happened to me too ... the only thing you have to do is have everyone at the portal, idk if its intentional or not but that's how i fixed it
No Boss Spawn on the Wetland Aspect sometimes. Doesnt matter if i mountain shrine activated or not.
i activated the teleporter in hell and magma worm spawned but after a few seconds he dissapeared and enemies stopped spawning and i couldnt make progress

I was playing coop with a friend, a blue portal appeared and we entered it. I bought the prisoned character (wich I already owned) to let my friend unlock it. I consumed 10 lunar coins but my friend didn't unlock it, so that was just a waste. I was the game's host and my friend died during the previous map, in another run hosted by my friend we managed to get back to the lunar shop and he was able to buy it, unlocking it correctly.
Just wanted to report same thing as TobStar, had two runs in a row where there was no boss spawn on Wetland Aspect. Game progressed fine.
When you have a happiest mask and make a ghost of a dunestrider, when their health gets low they will target you to leech health off of. This pulls you in and damages you like normal even though its supposed to be friendly
Seems I broke the game. As you can see I'm almost 2 hours in on monsoon and got to the gold portal area for the second time this run. Obviously got through the first time but on the second run through the area after finding the portal on the 14th stage (so this is the 16th stage I've been to in this run including portal areas). After activating all the beacons no boss spawned and the objectives list as you can see shows nothing. I cannot escape, enemies still spawn, and as far as I can tell the beacons won't deactivate. It was a good run at least
@sturdy rune, I, and another friend were doing a Deicide run. Overloading Worms, as it turns out, don't count towards Deicide- we had to later kill a Blazing Titan in order for it to proc. Is this intentional, or?
Overloading worm is a different enemy from magma worm so its working as intended atm

I was an Imp Overlord for an entire session. I picked Huntress.
Just to be clear I am not running any 3rd party applications and had no idea this was even possible.
Also, a previous game earlier, an enemy was bound to one of our player's controls. As in it would jump when they did, move when they did, etc. But the player was still himself.
after a couple hours in mobs still barely spawn and when they do it was lagging super bad even tho my PC wasnt. also u would come into the stage and all the combat shrines were already used up
part of the terminal is in a rock...
Not sure if this is an issue but the game thinks i have a controller plugged in when i dont? which forcefully drags my screen down. fixed by putting the controller settings to 0.001 please have a look into this
Dont know if this has been reported but my friend activated a Teleporter (I was dead) and simply no boss spawned. the swarm of mobs was there but no actual boss

On a high damage run, seemingly killed the teleporter boss the frame it spawned, result was the teleporter stuck at 99 percent and never finished, no boss healthbar left, but i checked the whole map anyways, had to just alt f4

I'm getting some weird lighting and model bugs in the Multiplayer screen the longer I sit in it
sometimes the lighting on the bed will disappear, sometimes the computer screen will go black, and models will disappear
if I go to a different screen on the main menu and go back to multiplayer it goes back to normal. the longer I sit on the multiplayer screen the more stuff goes wonky.

oh and when I go back to the main menu and go right back to multiplayer it will look how it did before. It will only reset if I go to a different place (like trials for example)

@tawny path Except that actually the screen doesn't look like your normal screen. Yours is missing tons of visual features (DoF, all the detail in the foreground, etc). The chances are high that you run RoR 2 on specs below the minimum requirements. Unsupported GFX card even maybe.

I was playing Huntress, and when holding down mouse1 i noticed that sometimes she would fire an invisible arrow. It'd play the sound of the bow letting go, but not the sound of the arrow soaring. However there would be no visual arrow and damage would be done to an enemy.

@errant musk nah I have pretty standard settings. Maxed out everything, no bloom, no foliage wind, no SSAO, immediate corpse clean up, and 0 max corpses, vsync off, fps limit off, 1080p, 144hz. I have an EVGA geforce gtx 1070 super clocked gpu. Don't think this is a problem on my end 👍
oh weird I just realized that I can't change the refresh rate
I change it to 60hz and hit apply, get the keep changes message with revert or accept. The number stays as the one I selected but when I hit apply it keeps bringing up the keep changes message even though it should be on that one. As soon as I switch to a different screen and go back it is back to 144hz.
Is it perhaps forced in the nVidia control panel to 144Hz? Other than that, you can set the value manually in the config file.
that was my first thought that it could be that. it's the only way to use 144hz.
the only thing though is that with other games I can force 60 fps and it will display 60 fps even with my monitor on 144hz. maybe this is a weird quirk with unity engine 🤷
or simply devs made an oopsie and changing the framerate doesn't work, could someone else try it and see if it works?
Switching to a capped 60FPS in-game works for me (dual monitor setup @60Hz), but Unity is notorious for mishandling multiple monitors, especially at different refresh rates, so I wouldn't be too surprised.

Yeah the equipment you can get from elite enemies ("Silence Between Two Strikes" [the one he got], "Ifrit's Distinction" and "Her Biting Embrace") are not in the logbook yet. They are on the wiki, though, if you want to know what they do.

Newt Altars can spawn in locked areas + Certain characters can dash through crack in closed doors?
Twice on my previous run with a friend, we had Newt Altars spawn through closed doors, we have been able to dash/teleport through the cracks around the circle part of the seal. This happened in Distant Roost and Abyssal Depths (the rightmost door with a jump pad outside it, not the one with a ramp leading up to it).
It is possible that spawning them out of reach like this could be kept as another form of random luck (misfortune), but in that case I question why some characters can reach these locked off areas. The locked off areas don't seem to spawn enemies the same save for maybe a couple flying enemies on Distant Roost flying in from the open cliff edge, making these areas a bit of a safer space for those who can enter them.
Fixes would be disabling Newt Altars spwning in a specific place if the map randomisation closes off optional areas, and/or closing the cracks in the doors so no players can pass.
dashed into the corner between the wall and the pillar, went through the map and fell to my doom, dropped down with 2 hp and died :/
When playing in multiplayer, Mul-T's shift for some reason doesn't scale with movement speed if you're not hosting

mercenary loses his charges for his third ability if he dashes multiple times when he has hard light after burner
Shaved Glass interacts oddly with the new Imp overlord bleed. The bleed ticks as if you had 100% of your healthbar instead of your 50% health bar, but you still have your 50% health bar, meaning its a one shot unless you have insane amounts of healing.
And if you have more than 1 shaved glass, its just a oneshot. Not even burning enemies do this to you, so something is off.
I wanted to report I've been activating the teleporter and not had a boss spawn in. Also, while running the mercenary, I haven't been spawned into the abandoned aquaduct after 1.5 hours of playing
Currently there seems to be a bug with Gasoline and applying it a large number of times after a big horde of enemies die. It applies to ghosts and players as well as enemies and can quickly take your health bar down to the 10% buffer for one-shot-protection. It seems that only way to survive this is hide somewhere far away from the enemies and let the healing counteract the damage. It's easiest done with Fungus and Rejuvenation Racks. Tougher Times also help a lot

my character spawned frozen into stage 4, i am unable to move, attack, or use any abilities except my equipment. The character is still animated but will not move on my input. I can still access the tab menu and the actual menu but cant do anything else.

it seems the characters have gotten a mind of their own and will not respond to human commands they have become sentient
So I accidentally DC'd from my friends game and whenever I click to join his game, I get taken to a black screen then get sent to the homescreen

Hey i found a Bug which happens frequently when running up a rock and jumping when u have the Wax Quail and H3AD-5T v2 equipped you get catapulted so high that you will reach the top of the map and then get teleported back down.
Activating 2 shrines of the mountain then activating the teleporter within about 20 seconds of the 2nd shrine seems to sometimes prevent the boss from spawning.

I played with a friend and sometimes when we got to a new stage i just falled through the floor sometimes
dont know how the bug came but i think it happens when my turret got a kill and at the next moment it died . after a while the turret despawn but the effects of the item are not despawning

The Wetland Aspect no-boss-spawning bug does not seem to happen if you don't activate a shrine of the mountain
Mercenary + Hardlight Afterburner behaves unexpectedly. Allowing dash to time out mid chain removes ALL acquired charges instead of 1 and reverting to blue.
i went really past in the game and i found a shrine of combat that is somehow not active
My best guess for the Shrines of Combat being consumed or inactive when you load into an area is that the Director doesn't have enough "spawn currency" to allow the enemies to spawn given the immediate horde of boss creatures, so it just turns them off.

That's not a bug. The party having a key spawns a box, but a key is not required to open it

Ran into an issue where an item (probably a drone) spawned inside a wall within the tunnel of Distant Roost, on the far right side while entering, inside the sloping terrain adjacent to the edge of the cliff. Only found it because I used radar with a question mark inside the ground.
Me and my friend are both running into a bug that prevents us from playing multiplayer. The lobbies are invisible and we can't invite, join, or use lobby ID to connect.
Had an issue where Stone Titans allies created with Happiest Mask would sometimes target me with their laser beam. Once they stopped the laser they weren't aggro on me at all. Only ever happened with the laser.
^ That can happen with any enemy happens when they'e spawned in mass typically
Been having an issue recently with the Wetlands stage, seems a number of others that I've talked to in multiplayer have experienced this as well, where no bosses will spawn when attempting to activate the teleporter after inviting the challenge of the mountain and thus no loot at all is rewarded. Moreover, no bosses spawn at all in said stage when a shrine of the mountain is not present and the teleporter is beginning to be charged, even though a health bar and name will. Any insight as to whether there is a potential way to fix it on my end? When there is no shrine of the mountain to offset the issue of a nonexistent boss appearing, the game will not allow any of us to continue our run and we always end up being forced to quit and try again, as the teleporter becomes locked at 99% charge.
After we finish a game if we back out of the lobby to re-enter quick play to get more players, it separates the party.
So there has been a few times where we activate the teleporter and no boss spawns.

There is a bug, when you take spheres to bazar Hidden Realm or any other portal after clearing Altar, the portal won't show up. I will try to find screenshot
That isn't exactly a bug. The trigger for turning an orb into a portal is the teleporter event ending, so if the orb is added after it's already over there's no trigger for it to become a portal. If anything, the bug should be that you can spend currency on spawning an orb even after it becomes useless.

That pink ! is the large seeking attack that the Wandering Vagrant spawns. It has it's own health bar, so it appears as an ally despite not being classified as an entity.

Imp Overlord's spikes have a hitbox that is about 30% bigger than the graphic itself. Additionally the hitbox spawns before the graphic appears by a whole second, so you can get hit by invisible spikes.

Dude, the dodge roll doesn't give invincibility in RoR2. Deal with it @sonic jolt
It's a 3D game. It's a lot easier to dodge an attack by going in one of the near infinite directions away from the attack. In 2D there's one direction the attack goes and one direction to dodge. The invincibility was only required in RoR1 so that you didn't get killed while using a dodge ability.

If you look at the scheme of characters across the games, historically dodging was invincible briefly.
It's broken with eviscerate, teleport, and previously roll was also invincible, so yeah, I consider it a bug.

Just thought I'd throw in here that as I was playing as the Huntress, I had the experience of using the Blink ability in a narrow area. This caused me to flash through the wall and fall and upon respawning was immediately dead. Not sure if any one else has had this issue.

with 220 syringes my laser sword became inert.
no slash animation came out in front of me, I made several passes at an enemy and did no damage before I died. in fighting game terms, my active frames must have been cancelled by the startup of the next attack.
at 60 syringes only third slash came out, and somehow at 90 syringes all three came back. good luck with that one. (thanks, based devs)

i've experienced several times that bosses do not spawn when activating a teleporter, leaving the only requirement as staying in the circle, this of course gives no items, all occurrences of this have been on wetland aspect with challenge of the mountain active

sometimes portals will spawn behind parts of the map if the boss teleporter is close to a wall or prop
the first shot of mul-t auto nailgun will fire several nails
seems to be a bug where some items like sentient meat hook (not sure if others) will have an incorrect size when shown on the playermodel of mul-t
also the disposable missile launcher AI will launch all of its missiles at a target even if only a few of them will kill it wasting the rest of the missiles
At the beginning of the level in Abandoned Aqueduct my friend spawned somewhere inside the textures and was teleported into the secret chamber, unable to unlock it

So it turns out if you have too much movement speed you can launch off of a ramp in Celestial Portal Realm, and actually jump out of the kill box, I spent ~5-10 minutes using my blink directly upwards to actually get back into the kill box and manage to obliterate myself
i got randomly stucked in map 4
so in the menu my mouse is lined up with the cursor in risk of rain 2, and the mouse shows up on my other monitor, and when i go into a game im stuck facing down and all the keybinds say unknown. it also automatically makes you run in a circle and spams m1.
Fixed the issue, disable Vjoy through device manager.
i can officially add myself to the list of shrine of the mountain + wetland = no boss, which is a shame cause i finally got the royal capacitor to try out
Teleporter did not spawn on Distant Roost when I played Monsoon with some friends.
I just found out that you can get inside the wall in one of the first areas. Possibly more (Going to test.)
The way I did it was with Huntress, sprinting + speed boosts then using her blink towards the ground where a slope kind of runs into the wall. Tested it a couple times and so far have been able to replicate it pretty readily right here.
I can't bit hit by the enemies, though I would imagine that anything that summons an attack on me (Colossus' fist?) would hit.
This appears to be the area where I teleport into the wall. Just after this screen shot I held forward + shift and was inside.

Near where the newt altar is on abyssal depths at the spawn inside the tunnel there's a hole in the map that I rolled into and was stuck in, had to end the run. It's on the side of the newt altar in the corner

just had a game where there was approximately 40 bosses on teleporter spawn and a new one every 10 seconds / every 10 frames is this a know bug? modded but only lightly modded but only lightly no multitude
when you get a friendly overloading enemy ghost (from happiest mask), the ghost will die when the green runs out, and it still has 50% of its health as a shield. It should be changed so it dies when the shield runs out too, so it fits the item description's time constraint
Also, I just did a game which had an instance of Abandoned Aqueduct which had 2 Newt Altars, didnt see if there was a third because I died. The two I saw was the one in the big skull, and the one above the area which doesn't have the secret ruins

How is this a bug exactly? Anywhere from only 1 to all 3 altars can spawn, it's random. I think there's even a chance none will spawn

I had vultures and i stole the shield from an elite , while i had the shield i got an Personal Shield Regenerator and all the bonus shield became my permanent hp , from aprox 750 to 1400 or smth XD .
Hey! I JUST had a bug, where I activated the teleporter in the desert map and no boss spawned. The teleported kept counting, and the mobs kept spawning as if there was a boss, but the boss itself didn't appear. The Teleporter did count to 100% though, and I could continue.
Minor audio bug: Upon entering a level as engineer the first time you sprint will always have the sfx for engi's jetpack muted, all subsequent sprints will have the sfx work fine, for example, cancelling the sprint and sprinting again will fix it. It's just the first time you sprint in the level for some reason.
Boss didn't spawn twice:
solo, 1-2 desert, burning sky, monsoon
2p, 1-2 swamp, double mountain, normal difficulty
@fading cedar I did most likely yes, I tend to activate all shrines and open all boxes before doing a boss

The Huntress sometimes doesnt shoot her arrows if you have bad connection/low end PC.

My friend and I just bought the game and we are trying to play together and neither of us can join the other person's lobby. we have tried the clipboard, and joining through steam. either way we do it, we click the join button and then literally nothing happens. the quickplay does not seem to be working for me either. There is a bug with Wax Quail (and H3AD-5T v2): It seems like when running into sloped terrain, like the one shown, and than jumping on said terrain will boost the player to extraordinary heights. With just one Wax Quail (and one H3AD-5T v2) using shown sloped terrain I was able to reach a wonderful height. (I had to parenthesize the H3AD-5T v2 as this is only a guess for the cause of this jump height). I will add 2 more screenshots for better understanding.

This is probably already been reported but whilst using multi nail gun if you hold down the mouse button after a time period you are counted as "out of combat" whilst still shooting. So as long as you keep the mouse button held down you can keep shooting whilst still getting the out of combat benefits from items like slug and red whip
Engineer shield doesn't block explosions it seems. I died to an overloading greater wisps shot while inside my shield. I was relatively close to the edge but i was definitely inside of it

So i killed the Golden Aurellonite and after i killed it and the golden portal dropped i could not go though it, i was in a party of two with a friend who had died early in the battle and was the host, his view was under ground but it soon got moved back up and i still could not use the portal. ;~;

I have no idea if this is a bug or not, but my RoR2 is capped at like 8 fps and the main menu is super laggy, I don't know if it's a problem with the game or not. I just moved today and just got everything hooked up, i checked the integrity of the files, updated my drivers, etc. and nothing helped with the fps

Recently keep getting a bug where the boss doesn't spawn. The Objective Panel quickly shows a checkmark on "boss killed", then it disappears and changes to "charge the tp", I charge the tp, but since no boss was killed, I don't get any boss item. Seen happen on multiple different stages, never seen it happen more than once in a run. From my experience over the past 2 weeks, seems to be a 5-10% chance it happens in a run.

Yesterday this happened three times;
Swamp map starts, get challenge of the mountain and when opened teleporter no boss spawnes. First thought it was a random bug, but it happened 3 times inside a few hours on multiplayer, plus did restart game and lobby after it happened twice but problem still persisted.
@remote acorn Make sure that your discrete GFX card is set to active in the nVidia control panel, and not some integrated Intel HD chipset. This is a more common problem we encounter @#ror2-tech-support than you may think.

The purple ! are the large, slow moving attack from the Wandering Vagrant. Because it's technically it's own entity, it shows up on the ally list.
Today i managed to get the game to crash: auto-using The Backup via gesture of the drowned combined with soulbound catalysts. fuel cells, and loads of damage.
I dunno if this is a bug but more of a general question, why does the character select screen shakes sometimes ?

I believe the soundtrack doesn't look properly in parts. I think it's in the aqueduct and or the hellish area. Apologies if this has already been mentioned

not sure if it has been mentioned but if you get the H3AD-5T v2 on the Artificer, one of the two little shackle thingies doesn't line up on the Artificer's ankles properly

lol. i would if i had any idea how i did it. i assume it had something to do with having negative money, because i was earning enough money each teleporter event to loop my money repeatedly(positive to negative and all the way back around again)
idk why, but this seems to be happening somewhat often for me. I'll start the teleporter, and no boss will spawn, which in turn gives me no items. I understand that late game the ROR2 may not know what to give a player as a boss if they get to the point where they're too powerful, but this has happened usually on the 2nd stage each time for me. Can this please stop. Thank you

Not a bug per say? More like an oversight but, in snow zone level, there are places where pillars that are so close together that Mul-T could potentially ram in with transport, and struggle to get out due to collision.

If you get rid of fuel cells and lower your maximum number of charges, your current number of charges does not decrement.

When playing as MUL-T in multiplayer Transport mode will fail to do damage to larger enemies when ramming into them. I've noticed this has something do to with latency issues and only occurs when my game is experiencing some form of lag.
MUL-T will ram into the enemy, the particle effects will appear indicating a successful hit, but no actual damage is done to the enemy. This happens regardless of any items acquired.
I have not observed that. Ramming bosses works for me too. You talking multiplayer specifically?

If you activate a shrine of blood just before you're about to teleport, your hp resets in the new level but the gold you get from the shrine doesn't.
Most common when using right click on mercenary but apparently dashing into a small rock or ramp sends you an abnormal distance up?
So, I activated the teleporter with the challenge shrine activated and…no boss(es)? It charged fully and no rewards.
so anyone noticed that infusion orbs go to turrets and such instead of the player
@silk harbor That's because the turrets have infusion, and the turrets kill them (you don't), so they get the orbs.
It's probably also due to the fact that the turrets have a seperate health bar
with infusion the orbs should go to the player though should it not because drone kills and buyable turrets dont allow infusion to prock

Yesterday while loading into a new level as artificer my character was frozen midair and couldn't use abilities or do anything, but moving on to the next level fixed it.
uhm not sure its intentional but if you stack gestures and fuel cells with a fruit you are accualy immortal since you cant take dmg 2 times before healing to full hp
I'm sure you've probably gotten a lot of reports of players with a lot of speed boosting items clipping into walls, but here's mine. This is on the level Abyssal Depths, on one of the side caves where there's a large group of yellow/orange crystals and buried inside is a newt altar(?)/lunar chest(?), one of the two. I'm familiar that a lot of video games are like this, where if you build up enough speed collision seems to disappear, but if there's anyway to maybe make this seam or some of the objects a little less close to the wall to try and prevent repeats of stuff like this.

Hardlight Afterburner on mercenary will add stacks but if the mercenary fails to finish his 3rd hit all stack will go on cooldown.
When we play in Korean, there is a bug that stops and doesn't move on to the next stage.

now keep in mind that though im using mods in this gif i made, this bug still occurs very much so in my vanilla game as well. i think this may be a bug in the beetle's player tracking im not sure how it works. this is one of many instances where most beetle's outright ignore me and start swarming the shrines of chance.

Idk if this is just how the items work or if its a bug but if you have energy drinks pauls goat hooves and some wax quails then get the red item H3AD-5T V2 and run up a ramped surface you normally couldnt go up and jump you get sent flying straight up until the game force teleports you or if you didnt get that high you can ground stomp all the way back down but i just figured being able to jump that high wasnt intended with the item.
I have had a bug a few times now where no bosses spawn after activating the teleport with one challenge of the mountain.
ceremonial daggers would stay in the corpse of whatever my friend killed and wouldn't fly around like normal

Dont know if this has been reported but during a long session if you reach the cap for gold it goes into the loops into the negative. It is still possible to buy items while in the negative but as you get more gold and it goes back to positive you can not buy any items until you have more gold then the item

apparently theres a miniscule crack you can fuck yourself into if you have enough speed in the Abyssal depth. I was so god damn close to getting the long run too. i dont know how to get out. And it doesnt seem big enough for me to actually get in in the first place

Every time I start up the game the resolution resets from my manually set one (1280x768) to the preset (1280x1024)
@prisma pewter 1280x768 is a 16:10 resolution that may not be supported. Did you set it so in the game's config file? If not, please try that.

Been having a bug: in a multiplayer game rarely your character will use the SHIFT power automatically every time that the counter resets starting when you get out of the drop pod. Can't do anything to prevent it. However when you leave the match and reconnect it always goes away. Never happened to me in a singleplayer match but i haven't done many

Its almost like its a model viewer and the only thing there is the model itself and a basic reference point

Died at the Gilded Coast because corpse cleanup didn't work here. So many bodies I couldn't see the Beacons. What a way to end a 302 minute Monsoon run. Aurelionite killed me 4 times and used all 3 Dios Bear because I couldn't find all of the beacons. No Cheats. No Mods.
The bodies were so deep in a bit. I couldn't find some beacons. Aurelionite could 1 shot me. I had corpse count set to 0 and clean up immediately. Also check the time out on this next screenshot. How was my time in game higher than my endgame screen. 304 minutes in game. 302 minutes post game?
Body cleanup needs to be adjusted or the beacons need to be made larger.

I just mentioned about this in the Feedback and Ideas channel, but the Stone Titan laser doing full tracking 100% of the time might be a bug, I've had instances where his tracking follows me through his body and is imposible to dodge, and other situations where his tracking follows his head as it tries to track me, resulting in being able to run around to his back to dodge his laser

I got one shot by an overloading small beetle in zone 1 who melee'd me once and spawned like 20 overloading orbs and did over 400 damage

At just over 61 minutes into a drizzle run with a shrine of the mountain active the boss failed to spawn. I had a huge pack of enemies following me which may have had something to do with it, but I was under the impression that a boss of some sort should always spawn when the teleporter is triggered.
This was on the same level @sterile token posted a screenshot at yesterday.
Okay just had it happen again not 25 minutes after posting the first time. Also on Wetland Aspect (looked it up this time) with a single shrine of the mountain active. I'm seeing a trend here, seems pretty reproducible.

Turned the Stone Titan into a ghost with happiest mask, however he still targeted me with the laser while being a ghost (also, I do not remember this clearly, but I think the laser was not doing damage to me while he was a ghost).

Random thought: Bosses sometimes don't spawn on the wetland aspect map, this occurred after the update where monsters are supposed to not spawn in closed areas on that map. I think that bug fix is what broke bosses

Probably been brought up before, but this isn't the first time this has happened. I'll activate a teleporter and no boss will appear. The thing charges still, but I got nothing to fight other than garbage adds. This seems to happen more often than not when I activate a TotM shrine.
i was playing with someone from here last night and he said that its always on the wetlands map, not taking a mountain shrine on your first pass activates the bug and vice versa for the second pass, no idea on the next passes of wetlands but that might help

Bosses sometimes stop spawning on the 3rd/2nd stages after mountain shrines.
I've noticed that the clay dunestrider, when turned into an ally ghost, will still damage you with his SUCC phase. I'm unsure if this is intentional or not
That boy damages everything around it in the phase. Even as enemy it damages other enemies

Something I mentioned at launch (Or around launch on Steam Discussions, I think it got buried lol) that I don't think has been seen, or at least hasn't been addressed. You can't bind movement keys to mouse buttons without it clearing a keyboard movement bind as well
Had aurelionite not spawn when I hit the Halcyon beacons in quick succession, got stuck in the realm of gold.
My pg move itself on the right. Even if i don't press anything, my pg move slightly right. I've tried to plug/unplug controller, keyboard, but the bug still remain. BTW even if keybord and any controller plugged my pg moves alone. Someone knows how to fix it?

When I played with the archer, my arrows started to shoot from a random set space in the air, same thing with the glave. Many times, my game just gave up while i was playing multiplayer, and booted me back to menu

~60 mins in on wetlands and no boss spawned. No shrine of the mountain was activated either. I'm wondering if it didn't spawn because there wasn't adequate space seeing as the overhang is rather close to the teleporter? A similiar occurence happened on wetlands when the teleporter was inside the tunnel.
I unlock the engineer but I can't playing, restarting the game doesn't work, do I have to create a new profile ? How can I unlock it, it's seem like a bug

I get this error every time I'm trying to join my friend via an invitation (play game button). If i join the lobby myself (join game via steam overlay) everything works normally. No mods installed on both ends.
there are some mistakes in italian traduction. when u use the shire of mountain on the chat box appear : hai invitato la sfida della montagna : but the correct verb is "accettato" so a correct traduction is : hai accettato la sfida della montagna : and if another player usa it the correct traduction is : PLAYER ha accettato la sfida della montagna:

hi there. Does a Lunar shrine of a sort remove and restack some of your items after youve clicked on it? Ive been loosing my items into 1 huge stack of different items... making it as if ive only got 3-5 items total, but larger stack of different items which makes it harder to play. Is that a thing?

Been having an issue where upon joining a multiplayer match the SHIFT move is constantly and automatically used. You can remedy by leaving and rejoining however this sets you and the team back and usually just best to restart the game entirely .
Just wanted to let you guys know I had a bug happen a little while ago where I was stuck after spawn. I couldn't move or use any ability aside from "Q", which was disposable rockets at the time. I was playing the Engineer, and this happened while spawning on the second level in multiplayer mode. I don't know the level name, but it was the swamp level with all of the big tree trunks
