I dont know if this is the right thread but are you working on a fix with the black screen bug?
My Computer freezes when this occurs. Have to hard reset windows everytime... and its getting annoying.
Sometimes ALT+ENTER works but in this case its not working always
after the hard reset theres a corrupted file.
-I have updated my Graphic card
-Disabled steam overlay
-Removed my sound card ( Sound blaster z )
so Idk if I can recreate, but I had an isue with the place you spawn with the gold orb. after I paid into the monuments(7) 2 times the third time only 6 appeared. the last one wasnt in the normal spot or any spot.
I think I've got a bug where, after unlocking the timed chest, I get the ultra item in every equipment chest. It's been 4 or 5 games straight and I have gotten the same thing
There's something seriously wrong with Mul-t, cause i can't play him without taking random damage and going to legit 1 hp all the time. Even when i heal back up i just keep losing hp and going back to 1 hp
I started the game again today, but I lost all my progress from yesterday... anyone here got an answer for this? I would hate to lose it all again

When you get to stage 3 with the mercenary you can glitch under the map with his blinding assault in some kind off places that dont have a prop there or somthing eles

@shut ore check the pinned messages, went to the referred location of the user profile and found my old save there. Just rename your old save to whatever string the new save was created under and delete it. Restart RoR2 - viola!
Every model in my game is invisible. Did anyone else get that? I tried to play with the settings but nothing helps
So I found out Huntress can EASILY get out of the "hell" map just by using Blink
There's also a few locations she can combo her Arrow Rain with Blink to get ONTOP of the map and then out.
You can also just 'pop' underneath bigger objects.

about the game running bad on good systems
my rig:
i7 5820k
16gb ram
rtx 2080
i get 50-60fps no matter the settings when units are on the map

screenshot shows that ingame the only 30% gpu usage but in the menu almost 100%
in the Gold Portal stage , we where with 4 ppl activated and 3 shrines and the last 4 simultaneously - result was 7/7 but no chekmark and no boss spawn. had to suicide to end the run :/

typo in fireworks description
I would be surprised if it wasn't already reported but I am pretty convinced "lazer beam" attacks from the Titan and Lemurians sometimes one shot people for no reason whatsoever instead of dealing damage overtime. It happened at least 4 times, twice to a friend I was watching and twice to me. Everytime it happened the beam angle was pretty much the same, coming from above at a 60 degrees type of angle. It's really frustrating to be at 850 health and get one shotted by an attack supposed to kill you slowly over time.

Hey, i brought my friend a copy of the game and when we're trying to play we cant start it, i cant see him and he cant see me. we only see each other in lobby, but not under the ready button and not each other's characters :\

For some reason, playing this game messes with my keyboard... it temporarily deactivates my W key, even after i've closed the game. This doesn't happen for any other game and my keyboard doesn't have any mechanical issues... anyone know why this is happening?

at one point me and my brothers found 4 mountain shrines on one floor and when we activated the boss nothing spawned we were playing medium difficulty drizzle
had issues with the teleporter. it probably clipped into the mountains or rocks and was inaccessible for me to activate.
so this is a rather small bug and it's just a tad annoying. When playing merc i've noticed that when killing the flying rock-throwing obilisk thing (forgot the name) and the corpse drops to the bottom und start hitting it, there are about 100 hit sounds + visuals at one time. probably it has some sort of weird hitbox which triggers this idk.

when attempting to join a friend via steam when he/she is already in-game crashes my game.
i have two bug (or bug adjacent) reports to make.
the first is with respect to fans in the ice area.
when you activate the teleporter event, it locks them from being purchased if you hadn't already. while this seems fine, i had a situation where a boss spawned on a ledge accessible by a fan we had not purchased. we narrowly had enough mobility moves to make it up the ledge, but it would be a run-ender if there was a ledge we could not manage to get up.
i propose that fans or other mobility purchases should be accessible even during the teleporter event.
the second has to do with in-game desync. i think these next issues are related.

playing with one other person, the articifier only loaded for one of us even though neither of us had the character unlocked. i think it's a desync issue, as in they loaded a different variant of the bazar than i did.

the second issue is in the first area, one of the forest regions. i loaded a different variant of the map than my partner. the image demonstrates the issue:
there is occasionally a bridge that spawns in that area on some variants of the map. for me, it didn't load in and i could not walk over that region. for my partner, it loaded and he was able to move over it.
that could be a problem if the game thinks the bridge is accessible and loads something important on the other side of it, but it is only loaded for one of the players.
also, this has probably been reported before, but there's an issue where if you ping allies it says that you want to attack them (like an enemy).
it is also possible to ping yourself and generate this message to hilarious effect, but still unintended.
Chests can spawn too close to the edge, and buying the item causes the item to fall off the edge into the void with no compromise
The 1 of the 2 bosses spawned on the other side of the wall w/ no way around or over said wall.

In the red plain (or whatever its called) you can very easily escape the map with a single hopoo feather and huntress

Bug report: I had the mask that makes ghosts equipped and killed the boss that pulls you in, he became a ghost for me and all was well until he used his pull in ability, killed me in 2 ticks.
Bug: If you are playing as a robot and using your nail gun, while you are using it you activate the 8sec crit booster. It will only work if you stop your minigun once and reactivate it
around 80min+ of survival game starts having an occasional stutter. i lasted 102 minutes at which point my game froze and i had to terminate it with task manager
I spawned inside a chest on a slanted surface and was unable to move for the entire stage; even after opening the chest I could not move.
after about 30min in a multiplayer public game my character started randomly falling through the floor and also being unable to pick items up
my free gift doesnt work. i cant send it or trade it
@hollow yarrow This is a pretty gamebreaking bug, sometimes for whatever reason, the Teleport bosses spawn into a mesh, or in my case, they first spawned normally, and then for some reason, I assume, defaulted their position to 0,0 on the map, or something among those lines, either way, I couldn't get to the boss and couldn't complete the map as a result, I don't know what causes it, but a 'workaround' would be to make the bosses teleport close to the player if they haven't taken damage in 60 seconds.
Was pretty disheartening that 50 minutes into a good monsoon run I was just stopped in my tracks by something like that. FeelsBadMan

One of my friends can't "load" into the game lobby, as in his character select is invisible and he cannot ready up, whenever one of us hosts he's the only one affected by this and when he tries to host everyone except for him is affected.

This isnt a bug as much as an exploit but you can modify health and damage values via CE π

nah the one i meant was flying into air way too high when you hit the object using m2 skill but not perma fly kinda thing also being able to get inside the ground and other stuff with mercenary + a lot of movement speed and dash still works π
Hello, does anyone else have the bug that they can't unlock/see Artificer anymore after witnessing someone actually unlock it in MP?
Last sessions in MP didn't have the Artificer for me there but others saw him (they haven't seen one unlock it yet)

More than once I have had a bug with MUL-T where the game thinks I'm flying, even though I am not. Meaning every single time I jump, and land again I lose hp because the game thinks I've been falling for a while.
Wasn't able to take a recording, but i was playing Huntress and right after the level started, i blinked and kept falling through the map.
i tried to blink out of it but i couldn't.
I was able to attack enemies and vice versa while falling through.

Each and every time I close the game, all of my progress is deleted. This includes items, logs, characters, and I have to make a new profile. I am attempting reinstalling to see if this will fix this.

There is a design oversight with purchasing the artificer. Since its not rewarded on purchase, if somebody exits the map before the animation ends you'll lose the coins but won't get the character
is it normal for the game to just randomly have unity based crashes? it didn't happen at launch but became more prevalent as i play. or it freezes during a multi match

me and some friends were playing and i (necromemer) found a newt altar but for my friend the one who took the screenshot it was invisible and i was standing on the air for him anyone else found this yet?

We can not deactivate Bloom in Graphic settings
i was actualy gonna put here that earlier when i was playing with a friend, they seem to have access to an area that wasnt visibly accessible for me, probably being a clientside problem, and the next level just as we spawn they couldnt move nor attack
I don't know what just happened, but my entire PC turned off instantly during a session as the Artificer. Maybe it was coincidence, but this happened the instant I used my utility skill on 2 enemies that were on fire.
Me and my 3 friends teleported to a new level and all fell through the ground. (The game put us back on the ground shortly after I stopped recording) and could still shoot enemies and use movement abilities but just fell back through

Able to pick up and use items but they do not show that they've been picked up. Only happened for me other player was able to pick up items normally but not ones I had, despite them still showing.
not extremely problematic in this case but items spawning high up on walls can stop some characters from getting them
not sure if its just my game but it crashed once when i started a run and now for some reason it wont let me interact with the game at all. the sounds have also gone and i have tried to uninstall and reinstall, verify data cash and restart my PC but none worked so if anyone knows of anything i could try to fix it then it would be much appreciated.

I'm in a private game with a friend right now, we went into the Gilded Coast, and he doesn't appear in my game at all. He's not in the "party members" list at the left, he's totally invisible in my screen. Messages related to him getting stuff show up as "??? picked up Warbanner" for example. I died and I can't spectate because he's just invisible to my game. But he does show up in the tab menu and in the death report screen. Nothing else (other than my game's ability to see him) seems to be affected.

A friend of mine was spawned after a teleporter and had this glitch
Bloom cannot be disabled through the options menu, the box constantly re-checks itself.
WIndowed resolution doesn't get remembers, although it seems rest of graphics options do

Just went into the Newt's Hidden Realm on a private game and I can't interact with anything or see the items you can exchange for other items. I couldn't even pick up a log I found hidden at the bottom of the initial area.
A file gets corrupted every time i launch the game.
That corrupted file makes my game freeze for a split second every time i pick up an item!
Just restarted the game and my profile disappeared π

Does anybody sometimes get stuck in the pod when starting a run? When I use keyboard it will occasionally not allow me to exit the pod using E and I'm stuck there until something kills me through it or someone else goes to the next level. The only fix I have found is just restarting the game
mercenary dashing at ground with eviscerate takes fall damage

Idk if reported but: As MUL-T with the nail gun, using the Ocular HUD while shooting doesn't trigger the 100% critical chance, on the other hand, using the Ocular HUD and then start shooting makes the effect to be permanent until you release the click or use other ability
Same as Danny here, just launched the game and my profile is gone. I didn't have too much stuff unlocked (still need to git gud at this), but I hope this gets fixed soon. Or I'll just never end the game, that should do the trick, too
Upon teleporting to the ice boime, my character clipped through the terrain and fell through the world. I took damage and reset on the surface and I could continue playing normally.
Occasionally when sprinting with Commando if I jump then Tactical Dive in air and or interact with objects
and release the forward button. I will come to a complete stop immediately. Then when I next try to move I go forward as if experiencing the "slow to a stop" releasing the forward button did not provide previously.

the turrets for the mechanic are bugged a little, they sometime just stare at a random direction, sometimes they snap out of it other times i have to reset them
with engi if you hold down left mouse and then sprint you can shoot while sprinting
upon entering a level i was unable to do anything until i died
Not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but I had a good time anyways. Basically all the enemies on the map were stone golems, and the bosses were stone titans:
sprinting and then immediately trying to go "back" seems to interact poorly with jumping/mobility(ex: Tactical Dive) resulting in standing still until the "back" button is released allowing the character to continue forward slowing to a stop as happens when you release the "forward" button normally.
Entered the golden portal after paying the gold altar and I'm met with this screen, frozen. It was my first time seeing it and I can't even spectate or anything. According to chat and my friend, I'm dead.
not really a bug but on one of the levels with water (maybe it's just the way my settings are setup), it's really hard to see whenever I aim up. Will edit when I get a screenshot

As @alpine marten said, MUL-T with the Ocular HUD, making perma-crits is incredibly strong. Picking this up on my first run with MUL-T was an interesting start to see just how strong he actually is.

upon spawning in the shop we... somehow discovered that the legendary item pot spawned right next the teleporter. the interact button was there but nothing would happen when pressing it. and no, there wasnt a second legendary item pot in the shop itself
Not sure if it's intended as some kind of "prank", however upon exchanging items it spat my syringe straight out of the map
Is it normal that everytime i close the game it completely frezzes at the Continue Screen at the start and then i need to delete the save files because they are corrupted so on but it bugs out every single time so its impossible for me to play the game, only when im playing it in one go

Had happiest mask in snow level, it made a Stone Golem come back to life as a ghost, however it still aimed its laser at me, doing damage.

Can't use multiplayer to play with friends. -- Keeps saying a file failed to verify after I exit the game and verify it. Doesn't get fixed though, and steam doesn't tell me which file it is. But something obviously dies after I start the game. Happens to my friend to.
I've just found the timed chest on an online game, but instead of seeing the chest I saw the contents floating there
Turrets dont shoot enemies that spawned AFTER the turrets have been placed down
This bug persist until the turrets are attacked. If enemies that spawned before they were built fly into their radius, they do get attacked right away. Kind of hard to show on the image, but there is an Imp that would normally get attacked next to the turrets on the lower level, aswell as multiple other mobs that arent shot at.
Dunno if anyone has reported a case when you blink with huntress and go below the map but that happened to me at titanic plains (while falling, down angle)

hey i was playing for like 8 hours yesterday but nothing saved for me. all my lunar coins, items, characters and achievements have been reset. was there an update or something or should this not have happened

my only theory is that i alt + f4'd out of the game instead of closing normally but i dont think that would have caused it
When playing Mercenary there is an inconsistent bug with blinding assault that transfers momentum to an enemy hit causing them to ricochet away. So far I've had it happen twice over 14 or so hours of gameplay on the character, once to a bell and once to a greater wisp. Both times have been in singleplayer mode, it has not happened in multiplayer.

don't know if bug or intended, during a run whenever i reached the snowy level I would only get one type of enemy. When i started another run it went back to normal
I had a similar experience with the lesser vagrants on the shattered pillars level.
If we could stop having portals spawn in walls/tree trunks, or under the ground that would be amazing, I have had multiple runs where I spend 5+ minutes looking for the portal alone, just to find it stuck halfway through a mountain or something like that
using occular hud as mul-t allows you to have infinite crits so long as you don't stop shooting
While spawning you can fall threw the map and in one starting area you can fall threw the map when you dash.
Im 193 min into a multiplayer game with 1 friend, and bosses are sometimes just not spawning when I activate the teleporter. 2 maps in a row now

milky chrysalis stopped working after picking up multiple fuel cells. the cooldown would start, the wings open, but won't let you fly.
When going for the "glorious battle" achievement I was lucky enough to get a Shrine of pain spawn next to the portal. I got it up to the 93% use, killed the boss, waited for the portal to get to 99 and stepped out. I then used the shrine and stepped back in immediately. The achievement didn't trigger. I stood next to the portal and let mobs hit me down and triggered it at 28/310. Achievement still not appearing. Is this bugged or does it mean a continuous 10% HP via lunar items?

Had a teleporter swawn right next to a wall (so that the red area went through it), and the boss appeared on the other side of the wall. (Insert Trump joke here.) After mowing down the other enemies, I found the Stone Titan outside of the area slowly making his way toward me.
Fireworks description in the logbook says they do 100% "baes" damage.
Probably been reported before, but anything from just leaving a lobby to disconnects, etc, gives you an Invalid Lobby ID or something, so you have to restart the game to start joining multiplayer again.
Teleporters can spawn inside the world's geometry, here is an example of a teleporter with around 1/3 of it inside a wall
Merc's eviscerate deals a ton of damage to you if you hit a wall during the dash
Don't know if inteded but Tougher Times can block "damage" incoming from shrine of blood
Don't know if anyone had this problem but when I try to join a friend, through invite or lobby id or through steam (doesn't matter), this is the screen I'm greeted with. I can't see any characters on screen, can't type in chat, can't choose my character and can't ready up. Normal quick play works (most of the time) but this doesn't.

I tried everything, restarting game, steam and pc, tried deleting the game, tried resetting the userdata file. Nothing works. It worked only 3 times

dying while aiming ice wall makes the targeting rectangle stay visible after death
When facing the hidden boss of the golden shrine the immunity did not wear off after triggering all of the pillars. I know I hit all of them because it was the third phase and I had counted them prior to know when I had them all.

its not where the pinned msg says it is, its not in my steam folder either. Not sure where else it would be and using the search bar doesnt seem to find anything
you can type %appdata% in windows search and hit enter... go back to appdata and go to LocalLow
If you use the Ocular Hud (i think thats what its called) and dont let go of your primary fire, even after it runs out you will still have 100% crit chance as long as you keep holding down primary fire... I dont have a recording but i will try to record it when i get it again
Upon teleporting to the gold realm in a 2-player co-op session, I was faced with this screen, I couldn't move or act but my partner was still able to move around and play as normal, whilst I remain stuck like this with hit markers appearing on the screen. Playing as commando and friend was Huntress.

1st bug - We bought the drone in the 3rd stage (snow). After the new spawn in the 4th zone the drone got stuck in a wall, however it fired at enemies. (even trough the wall)
2nd bug - Same zone: After some minutes the drone managed to free itself. It flew but turned around like a beyblade (GIF)

I found a bug in the game. If you play as MUL-T and the player finds an Ocular HUD item, the player can deal infinite critical damage until he releases the shot button(M1)

After about 190 min, the teleporter wouldnt spawn a boss anymore, after about another 15-20 min, monsters would stop spawning as well outside of the initial wave when entering the next zone
Shrines of combat also became in-active when entering new zones, as if they had already been activated

After reaching a certain movement speed, jumping while climbing up on a slope gives you an extremely high jump, often putting you through the "ceiling".
This could have something to do with the red item that augments your jumping height, but I'm not sure
Bug: You can't see other people's cooldowns in spectate mode.

Just played 5 1 hour games
This happens when I join my friend's game, or when he joins my game. The screen is darkened, you can't ready up, and you can't choose a character. We've only been able to play a game once so far.
Teleporter missing in Distant Roost when playing quickplay with randos. We got through several stages and were on "HAHAHAHA!" difficulty, so I think we know what a teleporter looks like against the landscape. We just could not find it in any of the common spots. No orange/red embers around, nothing. We spent about 10-20 minutes searching for it before suiciding.
I get a frame rate hiccup whenever I pick up an item. Setting textures to lowest quality and turning off any particle effect visuals doesn't help. My system:

1070 GPU
16gb ram
Developed in VR so this computer can deal with all games, not sure why the hiccup occurs. I notice that it happens more often after not picking up any items for a while. If I'm receiving items consecutively, it does not hiccup.

Whenever I go into spectate mode the game locks at 30fps, but when I respawn on the next level the framerate returns to normal
Bug: Was just playing solo Mercenary in the desert level on Rainstorm. I wanted to test out aggro.
Enemies didn't attack me at all until I used a skill. Some were even walking straight into me right after spawning, but not doing anything else. I was using the regular left-click slash on the air and it didn't seem to do anything with their behavior. They didn't start attacking until I'd used my shift dash -Blinding Assault- which also went to the air and didn't hit anything.
Pretty sure that's not intended, but I just happened to think of it right when I spawned.

Goat Hoof on the Artificer does not properly replace the leg, instead clipping into it.

Played with friends and we entered the Lunar shop where one of them bought and unlocked the new character, I went forward and press E which obviously didn't do anything since I only had 7 coins.

Hey I'm not sure if this is actually what the devs want and stuff but.. When you play as the mercenary, jump in the air, and use Blinding Assault aimed towards the ground, you take fall damage? I'm not sure if this is intentional or not, but no other character does this? The huntress' blink dodge doesn't make her take fall damage...
MUL-T jumping bug also occured only on the desert map
Healing drones get stuck in random spots, not sure if the same happens for the other types but i would like to see it looked at
on MUL-T if you use the Ocular HUD and then hold down the minigun, you don't lose the effect of the HUD until you let go of the trigger
Thanks for making this amazing game! Despite it being in early access, it's runs surprisingly well and has few bugs, but here are some me and my friend ran into :
1: In co-op, some entities don't appear/are invisible for the other player (such as the teleporter and other things you can interact with)
2: In co-op, there is a bug where it looks like you're in first person and you're stuck inside the ship you arrive with.
3: Some enemies spawn right in front of you and don't have an animation unlike others.
4: Sometimes there is a huge amount of enemies that really slows down the performance.
5: You can run into walls and basically get to places where you shouldn't be.
6: The percentage for the teleporter charging doesn't change from 99%

@stable temple I've seen the same issue with my friends where the character just isn't there, to my knowledge theres no solution to it, but it should still appear if you play in single player. If not contact the devs lol

TC-280-BUG: Drone keeps getting stuck here on this level. I think it keeps trying to go through that tiny hole in the wall and that's why.
Gesture of the drowned, with primordial cube and a fuel cell fires off an insane amount of black holes, lagging the game so badly it softlocks.
Not sure if this is a bug or cheating but some players have logged negative time values for the current prismatic trial.

Some small things:
- Using the wax quail dash while on some sloped surfaces launches you straight up in the air at ridiculous speed (Reach map limit and teleport back in less than a second). Note that I had about 5 of them + 1 H3Ad-5T v2.
- On the deathscreen if you have more items than can be displayed at once, you can scroll down to see more but there is no scrollbar and when releasing the mousewheel it immediately snaps back to the top.
Engineer turrets seem to be bugged and sometimes will not attack nearby enemies unless directly attacked.
bandit can not utilize the crowdfunder, unsure if bug or how character is intended to work

if you get enough speed to automatically climb some rock/trees and you press Jump while changing the surface then you get propulsate into the air like your move speed + your jump speed cumulated.

Uses for the Artificers Nano-Bomb chain, so if you have multiple and you charge the first one to full it automatically starts charging the next; causing you to either accidentally use an extra bomb where you didn't need or want it
the knifes from sacrifical dagger ragdoll if I kill a target they're circling
Dunno if it's known but there are a lot of place where you can do oob's with the Huntress dash. (Allows for example to pass past the closed door in Aqueduct or to freely move in terrain). I have a dozen of places where it's possible as of now on multiple maps, don't want to spam in there tho and can't really record it with my potato computer.
At one point when we tp'd into the Gold Portal with a friend (I was the host) he spawned but couldn't do anything and even dead he had a black screen.
@slim pilot actually it's very usefull once you stacked up attack speed and with an other specific item, it allow you to spam it, you just need to release your right mouse button when your nanobomb is fully charged π
So im still stuck in the golden portal. Just if anyone gets past where you kill all the mobs and none of the mobs spawns again do not go into the golden portal. Because all of your hard work will go down the drain like me π¦

When playing Merc and you use you eviscerate towards the ground from just a little higher than a normal jump, you take insane fall damage
not really sure if it's a bug or intentional, but as the engineer you can place turrets on the secret pressure plates in the tar level
found a very fun bug that stops you from doing anything
if the teleporter is too close to a wall the wandering vagrant can spawn in the wall and cant come out
The sentry turret that you can buy sometimes doesn't shoot an enemy, even after it is right in its face

Optical Visor and MUL-T: Optical Visor seems to cause any attack started within its duration to be critical (instead of making all damage within its duration be critical), and MUL-T LMB attacks (both Nailgun and Rebar) seem to "start" when you press the button and count as a single instance of an attack until they're interrupted (either by you releasing the button to fire Rebar or stop firing Nailgun, or by sprinting or casting another skill that interrupts Nailgun). This means a few things:
1.- Activating Optical Visor while already holding Nailgun will not make Nailgun damage critical, until you start a new Nailgun attack under the effect of Optical Visor
2.- Activating Optical Visor while already charging Rebar will not make that Rebar critical when fired
3.- Charging Rebar within the duration of Optical Visor will make that Rebar deal critical damage no matter when you actually release the attack
4.- Starting a Nailgun attack within the duration of Optical Visor seems to make that Nailgun deal critical damage for as long as the attack continues uninterrupted, no matter when the Optical Visor effect ends

Bug on the Happiest Mask item: when it made a ghost of the Clay Dunestrider boss, the black smoke/tendril attack hurt me even though it was a friendly unit. Output log attached in case that helps.
Randomly, a base enemy dropped a use item called ifrit's destruction or something close to that. The item doesn't show up in logs and seems to be more a passive buff rather than a use item, I think it sets enemies close to you on fire and gives you a fire trail similar to Burning Witness from RoR1. attached is the PreviousRun file from the games folders, I hope it isn't a big deal that I opened it already in excel. the item ID seems to be AffixRed.

I found a bug where I get stuck in the escape pod and can't escape. I am forced into what I assume is a first person perspective and all I can do is rotate the camera around. (I was playing the artificer when this happened and unsure what caused it. Also this was during multiplayer)

Found a bug on the snow level that made me constantly phase through the floor, once I reached the bottom of the level I was teleported to the ground and phased through it again. I can't attach the output log since it has been already overwritten, but I managed to catch it happening in video. It started when going into one of the containers that are at ground level (the place where the video starts) and it didn't stop until I died (at which point I just stopped being re-spawned at the floor and my corpse just went into freefall until I started a new game). I could interact with things normally, I managed to activate the teleporter (not in the video) and could also attack enemies. I ended up being killed underground by a Magma Worm.

I don't know if this bug has been reported, but my girlfriend joined me for a private game. The game displayed that she had infinite money (it was only visual, the number was in the 7 millions or so) and whenever she died, she stayed alive, just with an X over her character, able to move and shoot freely.

I am getting (seemingly) randomly kicked out of multiplayer games. I've had this happen 4 times now, in various situations.
- 4 person, snow area, spectating the other 3 while dead, inactive on screen for less than 5 minutes, as Commando.
- 4 person, fire area, spectating the other 3 while dead, actively switching who I'm spectating, as Huntress.
- 2 person , snow area, alive and actively attacking, as Huntress.
- 2 person, fire area, alive and actively attacking, as Huntress.
In all 4 incidents, the screen just fades to black and back in at the main menu. There's no error or on screen message, I don't think I was picking up an item. Visually I can't tell anything is happening. But it feels awful to even start a game wondering if I'll just be dc'd. I've been having fun with this. Don't know what's the cause but the game randomly crashes in the middle of runs. It has happened 3 times now in the 4 hours i have played the game. No connection between the three except that it happened twice in the lava place.

Here is a screenshot from the ice world as I fall through the world.
I continued to respawn and fall through the world, sometimes I fell immediately and other times I could run around for a few seconds and then I fell through but this kept happening until I died.
every quickplay lobby i get into gives me either invalid lobby ID or a wait timer for over 10k seconds
was playing 2 player and went into a gold portal realm, activated 3 of the beacons and then quickly afterwards activated the last 4 (because it seems like the boss spawns at 4 beacons so we wanted to get all of the beacons done quickly), no boss spawned and it seems like we're stuck in the gold portal realm now
It always sends me to the menu when i spend like 5-10 minutes in the 4th world
not sure if it's intentional or not, but if I am firing with MUL-T and use ocular hud I don't get crits until I stop firing and start firing again, but the 8 second time seems to start being consumed.
I have not tested this with multiple characters, and I am not sure if it related to using ocular hud multiple times in a row while already having been firing since I had 6 fuel cells the run where I noticed this.

@void locust croudfunded item? Its not a sentry turret - its gun that fires forwards to your aim position. it uses your gold to fire. if tehre is none - it stops until you got some...
If you were talking about turrets - ability of enginer character - yes they are dumb, sometimes they do not fire because aiming a bit broken. Just replace foulty turret with new one.
Unable to disable bloom
Damage from the turrets from the engineer don't display in the total damage....
@south token I think if the people I was playing with were leaving the game, the host would have told us, instead of going "what?? what happened?" and "wtf it happened again??" But thanks for the idea.

Found a bug where a friend had Gesture of the drowned, and then picked up The backup (after not having a use item) and it caused an insane amount of drones to spawn and lagged the game into like 1 fps.
so steam overlay doesn't work and i cant join my friends
@mental steeple did he had fuel cells? those are adds +1 use for active items. We had more than 24 drones at once just because one player had lots of fuel cells and used that drone call many times at once. Wasnt having any fps problems tho.. just a star wars scene..
Just went through the Gold Portal as a 4 man and I spawned dead and one other spawned with 150 out of 800 hp
So the game just doesn't launch anymore. No pop-ups or anything, the process just terminates.
what can i do to play with friends i accept invite but never join
jumped through a portal to the secret level and my friend immediately crashed, i was fine everything worked for me. i was hosting the server (if that matters) and she said that she could see a few textures and the background but the level didn't load. all her items got deleted and it said she had like 9000 health.
The game doesn't keep the resolution I have saved if I restart my computer. It saves the full screen or not portion, just not me setting it to load at 1280x720. Anyway we can get that working and saved next patch? Kind of annoying every time I load up the game after my computer loads up, it's at not full screen but not the size I saved it as.

Sometimes when I enter a zone I can't move or use any abilities and just have to wait to die or for others to finish it, all I can do is ping, sometimes I fall though the map before doing this but not always
I'm having a consistent issue in which the Mercenary's Eviscerate does not provide invulnerability to certain specific things. Chiefly among which is the tracking laser fired by the Golem boss.
No portal appeared in a world to obliterate myself in existence. I did not want to obliterate myself but no portal appeared.
@kind frost i had the same bug on the same world, but it was more specific to a certain area in the world. and for my friend it looked like i was just walking normally.
i found a bug with the headstart-v2 if you go on a slope with it and wax quial you can launch yourself into the air almost out of bounds, and then go slam into the gound and deal massive dmg and basicly one shoting bosses
getting 3-5 second freezes on item pickup and whenever i earn an achievement (when it's announced on the top of the screen, not just steam achievements). running max settings at 60 FPS with no problems except for this

Elite Elder Lemurians with fire element can spawn fire inside the engineer's shield. Their mains shot is blocked, but the spawned fire tornado has no problem spawning inside or moving through
bustling fungus radius indicator has permanently disappeared for me, green cross particles still show (edit: the radius only shows with soft particles enabled)
texture resolution is the lowest possible and settings don't work for it anymore at all
The achievement "Deicide" Defeat and Elite boss on Monsoon difficulty is bugged I think. i just killed the Overloading Magma Work in the 4th stage and didn't get the achievement.

There's something weird going on with saves. Lost all my progress, so I tried to edit my user profile with the items and characters I previously unlocked. It didn't work, so I deleted the profile and pasted a new one, which greyed out the continue button upon launching the game. Uninstalling and reinstalling did not fix the greyed out continue button. I had to enable steam cloud saves.

The "Longest Run" time in character statistics is currently taken inaccurately. It takes not the time that has passed until the player is defeated, but the time when the player has pressed "Continue" on the results screen after being defeated, so that the time can be padded indefinitely.
On Distant Roost there is a tree and a few rocks that seems a little buggy if the huntress tries to blink through them, i have been able to sorta recreate this a little bit, but not to the extent of this clip.
went through the gold portal, saved up money and bought all 7 beacons before the boss spawned and it never spawned. Literally no way of getting out so the run died.
There may be a bug when only one enemy type gets to spawn on the current map. For example, one time only golems have been spawning on Rallypoint Delta in one of my runs. The next level had usual enemy variety restored.
Third time going into Blue Portal and the item conversion pots spawned next to the portal for my co-op member. Also, the crystal to unlock the character is not spawning.
one gunner bot got stuck in a rock and couldn't get out of it and kept shooting forever
It was yesterday and I wasn't here at the time, so I unfortunately have nothing to share, but I was playing multiplayer in a team and had the fireworks item. Opened a chest and nothing came out of it. Looked around, just gone. Nobody was around to steal it, wasn't under anything. Think it may have fallen through the floor? Or maybe never spawned at all? Sorry I don't have any more info.
Got stuck in a pod (happened once). When a golem is going to shoot his laser at you the tracking system is a bit off, it shows that it's going to hit about 2 meters near me but them it shoots directly at me. when playing as engineer and casting a shield blast damage gets through, for instance when playing against that huge flying green head (wisp i think) the blast damage gets through if I stand near the edge of the shield. When playing as mercenary and using my R ability to move around the map it casts as if it's hitting something when there are no enemies nearby. When I went into a blue portal with a friend of mine I couldn't see the unlockable character but he could, he was the host of the lobby. After that game I became the host so I could see him and unlock him, not sure if this was intended but it would be better if everyone in the lobby can see him.

Engineer turrets often spend a lot of time not shooting at all, seemingly because they are targeting a close enemy, but that enemy being out of sight.

I don't have any screens or videos for this one, but if you activate ocular hud while firing on mul-t, you will not receive the crit buff until you stop firing and start again. Similarily, you will not LOSE the 100% crit chance until you stop firing and start again, meaning infinite 100% crit chance

i was a Mercenary, in the 4th stage there is a fire elite overlord boss, i cant take any damage like i became gods chosen one... which means i became invincible, killed the boss with everyone dead except me, moved on to the next stage and then i died

I got the lunar item that makes ccooldowns lower but automatically activates them with ocular hud and i was activating it CONSTANTLY with 0 cooldown
I found 2 out of bound bugs. One is pretty easy to pull off. In the abandon aqueduct, you can go from where that big door is and follow the edge all the way to the giant wall and go around and you will see that the wall isn't connected to the map all the way and you can go inside it and shoot all the enemies without them being able to hurt you. Someone might have already found this but I couldn't be bothered to fact check. The next bug only happened to me once and I didn't bother trying to reproduce it for long. If you play mercenary and you manage to get an enemy stuck in the floor/wall you can use "r" to get out of bounds. When that happened I panicked and got back as soon as I could. I tried it 3 more times and I was unable to reproduce it. Maybe you need to be the right distance from the enemy or the enemy has to be in the right spot for it to work.
On the character select screen all characters play an animation when you select them except Commando.
Some shrines won't show in both mine and a friends game. Sometimes he'll see them but I won't, other times it's the other way around.
I was playing Mercenary on the snowy map, can't remember the name, and somehow managed to clip inside one of those closed shipping containers, I can't get out of it and now I'm just stuck.
I found a bug with the ocular HUD and mul-t. If you while shooting activate the ocular hud the 100% crit won't activate untill you release and fire again, and the same happens for when the effect should go away; ie infinite 100% crit untill you release fire https://streamable.com/fnfnv

I don't know if it is meant to be this way but I've had boss AI literally leave and roam the map usually when I am using Happy Mask and have some dead ghosts around. It looks like it is Aggroing to the dead bodies of the ghosts laying around the area.

Timed crates are confusing and broken. Timers going up, down and freezing.
Certain items don't attach to Artificer very well. Paul's Goat Hoof and H3AD-ST particularly have bad clipping while sprinting.
@olive pilot The timed crate counts from 10:00 to 00:00. after that you cannot open it anymore and it will count from 00:00 to 09:59 where it freezes
Also, if you activate Ocular HUD while firing MUL-T's nailgun, the crits don't go away until you stop holding down lmb.

One file keeps failing to validate. In order to solve the game freezign when picking up items I verified the game files on steam and there was 1 file that failed to validate. It downloads, and then when I start the game up, the file deletes itself as verfiyng the game files leads to having redownload 1 file
The boss got stuck behind a wall and we spent 20+ minutes figuring out a way to glitch up to the top of the map.
Huntress' reticle spot on enemies can sometimes get clipped into walls, making her completely unable to fire at them. Suggest adding multiple reticle spots to lock on to on ground-based enemies, especially bosses like the beetle queen.
Sometimes drones get stuck on walls for a pretty good while. Even if you get back to them so they try following you in that new direction they just don't move. Though that may be a problem with the fact that there's 3 big drones in there as well.
Not sure if this is a bug or intended. The engineers turrets stop firing at newly spawned enemies once you've walked away and will only fire again once they're hit by something.

Also, whenever using the Hardlight Afterburner as the Mercenary, if you use the dash and get a hit, but don't use the 2 resets given to you after, you lose all of the dash charges and must wait for the cooldown to end.

Has it been reported that if you use a Shrine after entering a portal that you retain the gold you earn from the shrine, to the next stage.
I see it's been reported already but we are also noticing lots of missing items from the Lunar Newt shop.
The Artificer purchase is missing, one or both of the item-trade-in pots is missing and some of the Lunar items are missing.
I can also confirm that. If you use a health shrine to get gold after the teleporter has finished siphoning your gold, you keep any gold you earn.
Hey guys, I already posted in tech support, but might as well post here. I just got the game, I'm on an old amd laptop, and I mean really old, but it has dedicated graphics at least and I've seen people with even worse specs run the game at low settings, however the whole game looks like this and sadly I can't update my graphics drivers (hp laptops do not support official drivers, it sucks) is there anything I can do? Or is this the first time this has been reported?
Whenever I get in the lobby, the ready button doesn't work, I do not see other people's characters render(only their names on the top right), and the chat does work either.
I've tried many of the provided fixes, however, none of them worked.
If my buddies tried to make a lobby without me, it would work normally, however, the moment I join, they are not able to click on the ready button.
They are able to play together in a lobby. The lobby only gets ruined once I join.
I've tried disabling my anti virus, the firewall, following the steps here, uninstall the game, restarting my computer, however, nothing worked.
The only thing I can think of that is disrupting the lobby is us being in different time zones/regions - I live in Bulgaria, whilst they are from Berlin and Holland, however, I'm no expert in this matter.
It sucks that I'm unable to play it with my friends, or even multiplayer at all, as I can't do quick plays as well - the same issue.

Basically I fell into one of the tar pits in the desert map as merc, i was testing if it would kill me to end the run.
But what happened instead after falling multiple times, the enemies didnt seem to want to target me.
Thats when i started attacking them, then they fought back...
the issue now was that i wasnt taking any damage from them to end my run.
I tried recreating it on the titan grounds map, but falling too far doesnt seem to work

On the Abandoned Aqueduct you can lure bosses into falling into the pit, instantly killing them at full health. Could be a feature, I guess.

Not sure if it's a bug or feature but twice now I've encountred a situation where the only enemy that will spawn on a stage is the stone golem. Seems to be related to the boss spawn? One time the corresponding boss was champion golems and the other time it was stone titain.
just gonna put this here real fast, the current prismatic trial is slightly bugged to where you can open the timed chest since the first stage is rallypoint.
The frozen tundra has a safe zone where enemies wont go. Facing the water, if you turn left and go to the trees, no enemy will cross a specific point and you can sit there and cheese that level.
making it so the chest can't spawn for prismatic trials seems like a good idea
so im not 100% sure if this is a bug, or if I'm just an idiot, but I CANNOT find the teleporter on this map. it's one of the desert ones, with the bones of some ancient creature or something. i've run everywhere i can possibly think of, but havent seen it.

There's a bit of a bug with the TC 280 tracking enemies through walls, just a heads up
So I don't remember exactly where it happened but my healing drone got stuck underneath a sloped surface and then began flipping and rolling. It still healed me fine and was honestly hilarious but it feels like it probably wasn't intended. (pic is taken mid flip)
oh, yeah, that's another thing. Drones are really, really bad at following you and tend to get stuck on even the simplest geometry.
Can't reproduce for the screencap but I swear this huge tree just got a yellow outline. Was shooting at enemies in front of it, might be why

also, I've noticed that enemies REALLY like to jump up and down on slopes instead of just walking on them.
had one of the bull enemies clip halfway through the wall of the storage crate in the snow level (forget the actual name of it). I don't know if it spawned like that or that happened later but the first time I saw it its head was sticking through the crate wall while its body was inside.

Kjara and Runald's bands appear identical on player models and on TR12 Gauss Turrets.
Infusion seems to bug out the HP shrines. Takes no HP, but you get the gold. Sometimes it takes the HP, but doesnt always. I had 2 shrines used to the 93% HP tier, and only one of them took HP. Might also be in conjunction with the Shield Regenerating item.

I noticed a typo on the Risk of Rain 2 Huntress overview page. It currently reads " Remember that Strafe can be uniquely be used..." I think it should read "Remember that Strafe can uniquely be used..."

Drones can get stuck in the environment when spawning into a level. In one scenario, the Prototype drone could wiggle around and shoot at enemies but couldn't free itself from the environment.
So after fighting Titan in the plains- specifically in an area with absolutely no cover- I think I found out why Titan's laser is sometimes dodgable. It may actually be a bug, where the laser always matches the speed of its target as soon as it hits once.
This means that if you blink or dash before the laser fires, it becomes dodgable for a short period of time before he tracks onto you again.
A guess, but it seems likely.
If the happy mask makes a ghost of the clay boss monster. he can still hurt the player with the sucking ability

Was fighting a boss earlier. Had a missle turret on the other side of map and boss teleported to it. Was able to kill it. Interesting enough the item dropped on the portal.
Basically it shouldn't have teleported to my turret on the other side of the map.
i was far in a run and when i got teleported to a new place i was stuck unable to move, but could still pan my camera around and see my friends have fun without me π¦

Okay, so this appears to be sufficiently common that I should really report it. So, engineer turrets appear to frequently deaggro from enemies and will not reaggro unless an enemy hits them, usually. An example shown here with the turret with blue triangle above it (not fighting) whilst ignoring a nearby enemy totally. Only 'woke up' when said enemy hit it with a fireball, after which it acted normally again (shooting that enemy and others).
I found an easy way to get behind the locked door without opening it in the Abandoned Aqueduct on Huntress.

Run against the top of the door in the abandoned aqueducts at a slant until Huntress is barely moving in its direction, then blink inside.

Having an issue where my game freezes for around 0.5 - 1.0 Second, when picking up items, Does anyone know a fix?
For some reason, sometimes, when jumping as MUL-T I take huge amounts of damage, presumably as fall damage, but without a clear source and with no enemies currently attacking me. This has happened multiple times to me and my friends after testing it out and happened even when there aren't enemies in the area (after the teleporter has been charged). Taking all that damage, however, only leaves me at 1 HP and does not instantly kill me, but it does seem to bypass, per se, the teddybear (tough times) item and doesn't activate the medkit.

No sure if this is a bug or not but for some reason while using the hunters blink ability it will normally blink you in the direction your character is moving, but if you're holding down mouse 1 it will blink you forward regardless of which way your character is moving. Pretty annoying when you try to blink away from something you're back peddling and shooting at, only to blink towards it and die

Definite bug i think i have figured out; personal shield is bugged with healing items and effects.
Issue: Personal Shield Generator, when depleted and you are waiting to regain the shield, healing from other effects (even normal health regeneration) are disabled. I'm not sure if this is consistent yet, but it does happen.
Leaching Seed doesn't appear to be stacking correctly it but appears to increase by 1 point per 2 leaching seeds

as Mul-T, if you receive the critical use item (I forgot it's name but the one that gives you 100% chance crits for 8 seconds) use it, and hold down your auto attack button, it'll pour 100% criticals even after the cooldown stops until you let go of the fire button

The soundtrack doesn't use the LFE channel (subwoofer channel) for surround sound setups. It's a real shame to not be able to enjoy this game's stellar soundtrack since it only plays in stereo with no bass! Please make the music utilize the LFE channel for surround sound setups.

I saw that that the gate for tp can spawn in walls, I took many time to find him. I don't know if it can make him into the wall at 100%.
There are trials times in negative values, not sure how that happens but I doubt it should be so. Also, there are lobbies of up to 16 players, not sure if we can mod files in the game but that seems like what is going on there?

When playing Mercenary with an item that gives extra utility charges, the dash ability will wipe extra charges if you trigger the multi-dash but don't use all of them before it times out (so say you have 3 charges, dash into an enemy once, wait a second, and then you will have 0 charges)
I believe it to be a Mul-T Specific bug where he will continue to take fall damage after taking fall damage initially, then re-taking that fall damage whenever he jumps
Maps like the Desert area and the bazaar have areas where you can roll or sprint jump with the bird item and clip through a wall and out of bounds causing you to fall forever

sometimes my game will lag out for 2 seconds, freeze, then go completly white and wont respond, the longest run i was able go for was 70 mins but it normaly crashes around 40, the soonest crash was around 5 mins in a run. should I post the output logs or not?

Bug report, I just unlocked the Huntress and the engineer in one run and only the huntress is unlocked.
Bug Report:
Playing with a 4-Man. Upon entering the Gold Portal, our 4th friend has now been forced into spectator for the second time. (Both time that we've done the gold portal, they got sent to spectator).
The only consistency is that the player was playing as Huntress, and could not spectate the lobby host; only the two other players.
Bug report - Anytime i start the game it goes fullscreen, regardless of it marked off of that, and if i change the resolution, it refuses to restart with said resolution. I have to manually do this every time. (and if this isn't for bug report, please point me to the right area, cause frankly this is really frustrating!)
Bug Report: Having both the Radar equipment item and the lunar item that reduces equipment cooldowns results in the Radar going crazy and triggering non-stop until the player is dead (or the equipment item is possibly changed)

Sometimes when playing merc, the player model will disappear. It comes back sometimes after using eviscerate.
If you use the occular hud that gives you a 100% crit chance on Mult-E and hold down the fire button, you keep the buff for as long as the button is held down.

I experienced one bug where when my escape pod was dropping I was stuck inside and had a firstperson view of my pod that prevented me from leaving. I think it was because my pod spawn too close to another wall or surface.
Initially put this in #ror2-feedback-and-ideas but it was suggested for me to put it here:
After activating your 4th ability as engi, you can sprint while holding the turret and place the turret without breaking sprint, which seems unintended because using the ability cancels sprint. However, this is actually really useful so I'd love if it was left in or maybe even if they removed activating the ability cancelling sprint to make placing turrets smoother

Bug Report: After dying and my team using the teleporter, I was only able to spectate them. My body was in the world but I could not control or spectate it. I was not host.
Bug Report: When arriving at the second stage I was unable to pickup any items. They would spawn and my team and I could see it, but if I interact with the item first they would not be interactable. However, in the next stage I would have the items from the previous stage. (same game as @limber coyote )

Sometimes newt is not selling the mage. Got in there with 11 coins on a singelplayer match and he did not have the mage.
There are a few things I have found, have not been able to record sadly but they have happened. First off, Game kicks me out of a quick play match without any notification or error report, just randomly crashes to main menu. Next, the AI for the queens gland is sometimes just non functional. Going to a corner of the map sometimes gets it stuck on geometry. Easy solution is to just have it teleport to you if it gets too far away. Another one, The Magma worm decided to play its (rather stunning) animation at 1 frame per second. This one was kinda weird, but the game ran at 60(ish) fps, but the boss itself was teleporting and running one frame of its animation per second. It was really janky and weird. Note that game had HEAVY lag and the person hosting's game ran very poorly. The item Sentient Meat Hook sometimes just doesnt work, or doesnt visually convey what it is doing. Leeching seed stacking is really weird, I got 15 in one game yet only got 4 healing per shot as Mul_t... Ranger M2 seems to be hitting more than 6 times on some enemies if it travels very short distances.

not really sure what's the problem here, but steep slopes plus merc's spin slash result in a lot of vertical velocity. this also works with commando's roll to a lesser extent

There are two little things that I've come across that I think should be fixed:

While playing as MUL-T if you use the Ocular Hud item to boost crit for 8 seconds, you can hold down L-Mouse and have 100% crits forever so long as you do not stop firing. This combined with soldier stims makes MUL-T completely unstoppable.

If by chance the Clay Walker boss is copied by your Happiest Mask, the clone will still use its life-drain AOE ability to damage your health and possibly kill you, and you have no way to fight back because it's your ally.
Just had a run killed because the teleporter hasnt spawned in the level.

Not exactly a bug, but the tops of the surrounding cliffs of the first level are a safe zone where nothing can hit you
Also have spent 15 minutes scouring every last inch of the level looking for a teleporter and not finding one; like 95% certain Ive checked the whole map

The "+" Buttons to quickly add friends do not seem to work on my end. I managed to play with my friend by sending him my room ID so he could join with the clipboard so in the end we managed to play together. The "Invite a friend" Button also did not open the steam overlay and I also could not open it by pressing ALT +Tab.
I checked my steam settings to make sure that I did not deactivate the steam overlay, but no success.
Picked up Transcendence as MUL-T, but it didn't give me any shield. So I instantly died. Other items in image.
I went through a portal to the next area and got stuck, character couldnt move and the only thing i could use was equipment and press escape
I took this at a horrible angle, but some of the large rocks in Wetland Aspect are poorly clipped, and your character floats above them when walking

Bug: So I just unlocked "The Backup", after repairing 30 drones. But I actually did get the back-up from a use item chest prior to unlocking it, in a run yesterday, not realizing it wasn't supposed to be there yet.

Not sure if it's been mentioned before, but playing around with Engineer (my favourite character so far), I notice that his turrets are a bit funky in multiplayer. If they're placed in an area with no enemies yet, or enemies die and there's a lull in action for a while, they "go to sleep", and won't target or attack anything again until they take 1 or more instances of damage. I've never seen this behaviour in single player!
It makes it hard to set up a turret before activating a teleporter. You get them in some nice locations, good to go, hit the altar... And they just sit there doing nothing, watching you and your friends die π’

Heya, wanted to chime in with a bug I encountered while playing with friends
So the thing is, I died in the previous stage and naturally respawned when entering the second. Instead of being able to continue, I was stuck in place in this "fall pose". I couldn't do anything besides use my equipment, did not take damage nor did the enemies react to me at all
Entering and exiting menus didn't release me. And naturally I couldn't re-enter the lobby
I can't take a screenshot but i've just found a really weird bug, everytime I jumped with the Robot (MUL-T) I would lose like 60 hp, like I just fell from somewhere, but I hadn't
When you get to 40-50 waves evemys just wont spawn anymore expect the one at the start. No boss nothing :/

Sprinting can currently be enabled during skill uses without cancelling. This applies to almost every single skill in the game. I believe that this is because the game only stops you from sprinting when you activate a skill.
Fix might be easy because a certain select few skills are already cancelled when you begin to sprint, such as Mul-T's Auto-Nailgun and Blast Canister.

While playing multiplayer with my friend in Australia (Im in US West Coast) we would occasionally have a map load without a teleporter
Sorry I wasn't in this discord when this happened, but when I teleported into a new map with my friends in a squad. My character got stuck and couldn't move. It was slightly hovering in the map like I was still spawning. I could still get hit by shots. I couldn't shoot or move and could only use my activatable (black hole item). This was in one of the red maps.

Found a glitch where players were able to dupe Effigy of Grief with the Gesture of the Drowned and a few Fuel Cells placing them everywhere in the map.

Couple bugs I ran into in separate games:
MUL-T suddenly began taking massive amounts of fall damage from regular jumps.
MUL-T became completely unable to move after beginning a level after entering a teleporter. The model was also hovering slightly above the ground.
IDK if this is intentional or not but when one person leaves a quick play match everyone else is kicked out as well.
Weird bug, Started a new game with some friends and got stuck in pod as MUL-T

Wetland aspect doesn't always spawn the teleporter. Became unable to complete the run and had to quit.
Two bugs:
-Aiming down and marking items in multiplayer often makes you mark yourself, uselessly. With "wants to attack".
-Aiming too low on Mul-T makes rebar bug out on occasion and fly at a bizarre angle, into the floor, that isn't consistent with third person parallax.

I lost 4+ hours of game file. I am not sure, but i believe that it is because i had it open on one PC and not closing it, and then i went on another PC where i played, to then return to the original PC. And then i had "Simply" lost my game data.

There's a filepath where you save game will be, copy the new save files name, move it somewhere safe, replace your old save file (your actual one) name with the one you copied, this worked for me
Found bug where crit chance was over 100% and our crit rate went down to a super low percentage even when using the item to give 100% crit chance this only started happening much farther into the game

Got this entering the golden portal, wasnt able to move had way too much health. didnt say i was dead though.
in the back of the snow level, if you try to climb up the back cliff near the fan, but not using the fan, there is a spot in-between the side wall and the ramp that you can clip into, it doesnt feel intentional, you can see the jagged edges of the texture, can get a pic if needed
I'm not sure if the dev knows this, but I just encountered a bug in the very first level when I spawned. The teleporter did not spawn into the map and I had to restart the run to fix it.
Idk if it's a bug but it's certainly not intended, cause I went to do the prism challenge and it spawned me on the snow map. I opened the timer chest with 9 minutes to spare.

I got about an hour and a half into the game. A stone colossus spawned, and did about 2k damage instantly with his laser beam. He hits multiple times rapidly with his laser, but me twice, and sent me to about -7k HP. These things do way too much damage. I can't say how many runs I've lost in an instant to these guys. If this isn't a bug, then they need a HUGE nerf.

Found a bug where after defeating the bosses ( field boss and the moutain challenge bosses) the objective was stuck on kill the remaining bosses.
The enemies stopped spawning and i went around the map for around 15 minutes. Sadly no picture to show.
The run was at 45 min, had gone back again to beginning and was on the 2nd level (marshland)
Edit: Secondly i dont know if its a bug, but after 1hr 20 min the strange contraptions (the bells that shoot 3 spiked balls) 1 shot everything on a direct hit.
(was using engineer with shields and increased hp with blood vile had 1035 total hp, got 1 shot )
(friend was using the robot [forgot his name] around 1100 total hp and died in 1 hit aswell)

Two bugs with achievements. First is the "Deicide" achievement, not getting unlocked after defeating an elite boss. Secondly is the "Newtist" achievement. I've hit probably 2-3 different shrines per map, and entered the portals, but have yet to get this unlocked.

so i was on the really hellish map (i have not found the map name yet by playing) but i did find a way out of bounds and trapped myself in a tunnel that is sometimes open then had to leave the game cause nothing was spawning and i could not escape

Engineer turrets malfunction when placed on slopes
Not sure if bug but I just found a teleporter jammed halfway under a rock in the swamp, took me forever to find it, the middle part was barely showing. The teleporter is hard enough to find on that map. No screenshot sorry
Holding down MUL-T's primary attack counts as a single attack.
For example if I use Ocular HUD but hold down left mouse even after the effect ends, I will continue dealing crits.
Bug: Engineer Turrets will just go to sleep after a time and will not re-activate
While testing things, I found that if you have drones active in Singleplayer, then quit and start a new run, those drones will carry over.
Don't know if it's relevant to bug support but it's been posted in tech support. Haven't figured out how to enable cheat mode, though it's showing in the "help" section of the command console.
We weren't able to pick up the log book in Blue Portal
- The logbook of Imp Overlord says it recieves 840.00001hp per level. Do we really need such precision?
- Commando: you can decline Suppressive Fire with Phase Round.
- You can ping to attack your allies, pets and even yourself.
- When you are adjusting settings in multiplayer during the game by pressing LMB - your character is firing!
- There is no model of Ukulele in logbook.
- Not sure if it's fully a bug or intended, but having a higher speed buff or the quail item (hop forward 10m when sprinting) you can easily climb most of the "cliff" terrain in most of the levels, allowing you to circumvent a lot of walking/backtracking as well as reach unintended areas where nothing spawns.
- The engineer has a "feature" where you can start charging the grenades then sprint while still charging up the launchers. Grenades fired in this state launch from a lower point (since the launchers flip down in sprint mode).
I don't know if this scaling is intended but 7+ teddies give you 100% chance to block incoming attacks. This only makes you vulnerable to DOT effects like from the fire worm.
I dont know if it is intendend or not, but if you manage to "mount" the Wandering Vagrant, he wont attack at all.

i have no idea how i died, i had a huge dot that ticked for about 600, it seems i didn't die to an enemy either, i had several ghosts of enemy's and bosses around me when i died

As Mercenary if you R towards the ground and there are no enemies in range to go into the 'dodge state', you will take a lot of fall damage from the speed of the dash (doesn't happen with Blinding Assault because of the i-frames id assume)
Engineer turrets sometimes do not automatically attack nearby enemies until they are hit by an attack from that enemy (this usually happens if they've been in the same place for awhile, vs when they're initially placed, might be a bug).

found uh, an interesting bug i think. Gesture of the drowned + The Backup = chaos (no fuel cells or any other kind of modifier for equipment.). friend had gesture of the drowned, as soon as he picked up the backup the game came to an almost standstill. spawned probably hundred or thousands of drones instantly. we all had 1 frame per like, 10 seconds lmao. so many drones.

Visual bug, settings menu, scrolling down will leave sensitivity and look scale setting values visible, while removing the text boxes, as it should.
Not sure if this is known or not, but with the "Pauls Goat Hoof" Item, at least for the Huntress, the goat leg and the knee do not actually touch, and do have a gap between meshes. Is purely visual, and does not affect gameplay at all.

I should have taken a picture but a friend of mind spawned on top of a small container and was unable to move. He eventually got hit by a bison and was pushed off of the canister but still was unable to move. He could use his use items but not skills.

Don't know if it's been mentioned- But there is a bug affecting MUL-T when using the Ocular HUD, specifically when using the Nail Gun configuration.
If the primary fire button is held down as Ocular HUD is activated, the effect doesn't actually trigger, MUL-Ts shots landing with regular crit chance. However- If you trigger Ocular HUD and then begin to fire, as long that you do not stop firing, MUL-Ts shots will all crit way beyond the duration of the item's effect.

Not sure if it's been reported yet, but the Commando's roll can be used to get out of pretty much any map, as it does not really get stopped by slopes (as long as it is a slope and not a wall), instead, zooming you up them and covering the same distance. Plus, being outside of the map at certain points causes objects, including the player, to disappear.

Bug report : sometimes the secret buttons on Aqueduct map can't be seen by me but my friends able to see it. My friends could go inside meanwhile I can not go through it. Idk its visual bug or what, but the gate was not opened but for my friends, it was opened

Not quite a bug but more of a suggestion, almost everyone steals all the items and that's why I think other player's shouldn't be allowed/capable to take things that you bought and multiple drops from a boss kill.

When you have the item Ocular HUD With Mul-t, you use the ocular, then just continuously spray you'll have the 100% crit chance after the eight seconds.

Gold portal area, friend was able to see my character but he was not physically visible to me. However, his attacks and the attacks of the drones he picked up were visible.

When Dying as the Mercenary & being Revived by Dio's Best Friend, the Mercenary's dead body has a lingering hitbox. The reason this would be an issue is that when attacking near the body as Merc, it causes his basic attack combo to continuously collide with the dead Merc's Hitbox for every frame the attack is being performed, causing him to be massively slowed down as a result.

Desert map, as host of a multiplayer lobby that has unlocked the elemental bands. If you attempt to open the hidden path via buttons the message of the door opening will not log in the chat as well as not appearing open for the host, however the other members may enter the aqueduct... ---heres the real problem--- whoever enters will appear on the host end to be running against the closed door and will take damage from a horde of mobs while on their end the will be at the 2 lupins taking invisible damage

not sure if bug or not, but engineer's turrets dont give infusion for the engineer, and doesn't drop lunar coins. Unless 10 hours of gameplay and not getting 1 is sheer bad luck. Not sure if this would apply to 57 leaf clover as well.
@errant burrow infusion increases the health of the turrets. For infuson to work on engi, he must kill things. could be a bug, but I believe this is by choice

Engie turrets sometimes fail to target enemies in range, and they don't shoot at all. This seems to happen most to enemies that spawn inside of the firing range of the turrets, but unsure.
I was just typing this. My turrets just don't work after 10 seconds of placing them and they get a few kills. They just stand there.
Friendly beetle guard is constantly walking into the teleporter when there aren't many enemies. I don't have a screenshot but it is very easy to recreate, happens all the time
Yah engi turrets get bored after about 10s of nothing to do
When using ocular HUD as mul-t, if you begin firing the minigun during the HUD duration and do not release m1/do not stop firing, the effect of HUD will maintain past the duration (I.E. Infinite duration on ocular HUD as long as you keep firing the mini gun)
Here is something interesting. You can ping to attack yourself. It's not something that affects the gameplay but it could be change into a 'Help Requested at this Players Location' ping which you could greatly use to identify friends in a crowd of enemies during multiplayer
I found a bug in the third stage
If the teleporter is right next to a wall, and a magma worm spawns, it just flies into the same wall over and over again, making it basically impossible to kill since it just gets stuck there.

Stuck on the main menu? Anyone else experiencing this? Game boots to the menu screen but then I'm stuck on the splash page that ironically is thanking me for playing risk of rain 2 and to report bugs. Continue button does not work, neither does the refresh button in the bottom right.
I can see the foliage and rain effects in the background as well so I know the game is at least running. Just can't get past the darn screen
If you manage to get under an enemy he can sometimes clip you throw the floor
I've got corpses set to immediately cull with a max cap of 0 (which results in no corpses appearing at all). However bosses do not respect this setting and it'd be nice if they did.
Speaking of options particle culling doesn't seem to save upon leaving the game, meaning I have to reduce it every time I launch, and bloom can't be disabled at all which would be nice if you could.
if you ice wall near a cliff the edge bits just kinda fall into the void and stay in mid-air

Dashing into the floor with mercenaries R is counted as a ton of fall damage.
i dont know if its intentional but if you dash against a rock (especially in the snow map)with the mercenarie you fly like 20 meters into the air

Transcendence does current health, you got knocked down to 97 health just before you picked it up
Occasionally after taking a small amount of damage or fall damage near a wall you will continuously keep taking damage till death. Seems to get worse as you jump making me think it's some sort of stored velocity. Happened to me once on level 4 and once on second map. Second map run logs attached

MUL-T and Milky Chrysalis. If you have it, use it, then switch his weapon set, you can still see the wings on your back, but you can't fly. (you may or may not need to have an item in other equipment slot, rather than it being blank, for this to happen.. not sure.)
@weary moth I agree, since some other items still work when you switch weapons. I know that at least Oracle HUD works and you can crit on minigun after switching, but stuff like milky chrysalis and the money-taking gun item doesn't work either

Hello! My friends and I had an issue with the Timed Chest on Rally point. It seemed that only the host of the game was able to see the ||BFG|| that came out of it. Thankfully the rest of us in the game were able to still get the achievement and the unlock, but for some reason the item exclusively shows up on the host's game when it comes from the time chest

When merc has the hardlight afterburner granting him 2 stacks on shift, uses shift during it but does not proc the two free stacks he gets of the ability all the two he gains from hardlight afterburner are lost as well and the spell goes fully on cooldown.

Sometimes the teleporter does not spawn, ive had 2 runs end because of this. Even had shrine of the mountain activated, so I don't believe I missed it (would have seen the shrine symbol over the teleporter. Theory is, the teleporter may have spawned somewhere inaccessible
It may be the case for other heroes, but when MUL-T uses the 8 second crit activatable item with his nail-gun, auto-crit doesn't end after 8 seconds, but until you let go of your mouse button, effectively letting you shred through bosses and nearby minions.
Iβve been trying to get into quickplay for like 30 mins, but every time I find a game, it says launching in 20,000+ seconds. Highest Iβve seen so far was 153,000 seconds.

At the moment if you're paused + tabbed out into another page w/windows key, like using a web browser/checking up on discord, clicking around still interacts with the game's interface. So basically you can end up pressing stuff like the quit buttons/or start a new game if you're on the menu.

I was playing MUL-T, on Wetland Aspect, and the stage modifier that changes all the enemies to lemurians was active. The teleporter was in one of the areas hidden by the tunnel with two tree branches, and when I hit the portal, no boss spawned, and enemy spawn rate didn't seem to increase. Sorry for no pic
after few hours of gameplay and at least 40-50 stages enemies stop spawning :(

Whenever I play in a 3-stack matchmaking seemingly never finds a 4th player, but with a 2-stack it is extremely fast at finding two other players.
Minor annoying bug, using control pad to navigate the menus,
in the item and monster logs when you press A to change the page it double clicks, always skipping a page.
The screenshake reduction slider doesn't do anything to the screenshake on shooting. Not sure if intentional but it sadly makes it hard to play due to becoming unwell physically.
I started Distant Roost on the outer island and no land bridge spawned so i'm kinda stuck!

when playing as MUL-T, if you use the ocular hud while you're firing his chaingun, the crits won't affect the shots until you stop firing then continue again
oh, and the crit effect doesnt stop until you stop firing, so you can keep holding crits for far longer then 8 seconds
I've had this happen multiple times in quickplay where the lobby count does not match with the actual number of people in the lobby making it impossible to start the game. Also the ridiculous start timer but I'm pretty sure that's being worked on. Would help if there were a ready up in the lobby so you could skip the timer if you were satisfied with the number of players

I invited my friends to a lobby, and they joined, but it didn't show them in my game. When I went to character select, they just got a black screen.
Fixed by restarting the client (I had been playing a little while already before they joined)
please fix the pots in the abadoned adueduct i really want to be able to find the two switches myself as another charakter without having to play engineer, been pushing them for over an half an hour now as warrior and i have glitched through the map like 4 times now, the pots keep getting stuck and barely move when you run at them and jump on them , sometimes they randomly get shot up in the air when you jump on them and then you have to start all over π¦ please fix

as mercenary are you meant to take damage if you use your R abiliity and hit the floor
you know the rings will spawn in normal chests once you get them once, right? unless you're building around guaranteed rings for whatever reason in which case that's the poison you picked
