the towers seem to get almost exponentially harder as you go, even with the most unfair tilt the pinball machine ass world options the last tower was still unnervingly tough

all I did for most of the towers was just get 6 really strong pals with high power high cooldown skills, preferably mountable ones that grant STAB boosts to the corresponding moves when mounted. (ie: quivern my beloved)
and all I did was summon them > wait for them to use all of the high power moves > mount them > use all the moves again > then cycle to a new pal > repeat process
nowadays I cheese the hell outta things by running the highest possible damage gun (im max level on my file) have 5 gobfins in my party with really high star ranking something or whatever (boosting their "increase player's attack stat" affect + other player boost passives) and 1 mount good for overall movement and just about kill things in just a few shots. scary crazy though how I went in expecting pals to be the real powerhouses, when at the end of it all, I ended up being the powerhouse

Or better yet, realizing that the part i liked wasn't the one i thought it was and i should have grabbed the cockpit off that ship rather than the wings
