the damage I deal with and without an impact mod is the same

afaik when I did a bit of study into IPS mods, they are as 90%(was it 90? actually I cant remember what the highest slash boost mod was) IPS boost mod (the slash one) is as effective as a basic element damage mod when the respective IPS stat you are boosting is 70% total damage distribution or more.
I remember using the slash IPS boost with praedos(has exactly 70% slash distribution) so I could get more consistent slash procs due to a primed element mod making my slash proc frequency lower

it takes a stupid amount of liches to fully valence a weapon with its 1.1x valence increase per fusion, youre more likely to find a 60% lich by the time youve gotten near a moderately high valence bonus

it should just increase the bonus by the amount of the lesser weapon you're fusing

fuse a 25% into a 40%, 25% increase to 40% makes 50%

or 25% to 25%, only increases by 6.25%
