bad hitboxes is a big one, when in reality there is like, mabye one noticeable outlier in the whole game. and its on an enemy that you see like 4 times. otherwise the hitboxes are actually probably some of the best

ADP is another big one, but I personally have never seen it as any different than having to level health or stamina

enemy spam, which is completely nullified if you actually take your time instead of just running headfirst in to stuff

hollowing is also kind of intimidating at first, but is not nearly as bad as people make it seem. you lose like a very small % of your max hp every time you die, up to 50% (or 25 with a certain ring), but it can all be nullified by using a certain (very abundant) item.
