one thing I like to do since I usually farm there after a certian boss for a new resource is just find a room where its already pretty big, and de spike it. then despike the path to there and ignore all other spikes.
No need to despike the whole dungeon when you just need to farm mobs in one spot.

there are some fun mini combo's I do like to whip out at times. namely Melee+summoner. since you run gloves for both classes there is some good overlap, and the extra armor and a panic tool to deal with mobs other than whips feels so healthy

shadow chests spawn on the outer edges of hell(a bit past where the buildings are), and kinda near-ish to the center?
just grab a key and you can open all the chests down there in one go theoretically (as long as you dont die partway through/get bored)
