first of all before even aiming for forgotten you must fufill the requirement of beating the game at bare minimum 17 times each time getting harder and then after that you can begin the run where you actually unlock it.first you must beat the floor 1 boss in under a minute go to the first room of the first floor and bomb the shadow on the ground and get the first shovel piece. then for the entire rest of the run giant feet will constantly be stomping down trying to kill you. from there you must reach floor 6 and beat that boss all while the feet chase you. but watch out you gotta get there in under 20 minutes or the whole run is worthless. because you gotta beat the fucking boss rush which only appears if you beat the floor 6 boss in under 20 minutes. and you have to clear 15 waves of bosses with the foot still stomping. after the boss rush you get the second shovel piece and upon getting that the feet finally stop stomping. from there you still aren't done as you must beat floors 7 and 8 now which even without anything exterior are still hell on earth and then floor 9 which is actual hell(this is a canon fact) fight fucking SATAN and then you reach floor 10. then you find the specific room with a patch of dirt you use the shovel and finally get the forgotten
