back then, during the era of monke, the clone had infinite ammo so you could pass it an explosive weapon (exlposive weapons that had low ammo capacity to "balance" them) and his monke clone would shoot it infinetly, doesnt matter if he's a pot shot, an explosion is an explosion. oh, and high speed aimable dash/flight which heals, counter attack granting very high armor to increase tankiness, and an exhalted which is kinda okay.

(pro tip to not lose all of your weapon ammo instantly: equip the gun so the clone equips a melee, its more consistent than its aim without a high aoe weapon, and you get to use your ammo more conservatively)
Optional: you could try to give your clone a high ammo efficiency/capacity primer secondary and use a melee, the clone will add stacks for CO and you can use a melee to benefit, its a bit more restrictive as a playstyle though
