the more I think about it the more I kind of like the idea of a showcase that includes major patches

especially in the indie sphere where games have small teams, long beta/ea cycles, and much more community interaction

patching games is such a huge part of the industry it is a shame for great games to fall by the wayside because of a poor first impression

double especially because people expect a lot of post launch support
