Daggerfall has very flexible character customization and lets me get really immersed in the busywork of living in the universe
Its something the newer es games havent tapped into, unfortunately

Skyrim kinda did with the ability to buy a house, and the crafting skills
But it doesnt feel as intresting of an experince as Daggerfall

In Daggerfall you can buy any unoccupied house if you have the money for it, and a boat to make travel easier

SS doesn’t have any gear score, you could get a green weapon early in the game and use that weapon the whole game

I usually farm for fun at endgame to try out and optimize my build, so low droprates never bothered me too much

Other than random weirdness(the single crash so far, jittery corpses, other minor graphical stuff), things are quite fun! Hopefully vanilla gameplay isn't terrible. Because I'm on Switch, and therefore cannot mod. At least, not without risks and voiding a WHOLE bunch of warranties... And goodbye online access, too.
