In minecraft, you need good tools in order to obtain the materials for your house quickly and make good bases for your building or to fix mistakes that might happen, such as "I don't like this color pallete for my house" or "I think this room is too big/small/narrow/wide/tall/short" and you gotta change it all up again. And again the resource gathering of minecraft is a little harder not only because it's 3D, but also because without end-game gear, it will be a pain to obtain 4 stack of logs or 6 stacks of deepslate

In terraria, you have 1 dimension less so re-building isn't as hard as in minecraft, and the only thing that you might need to worry is on resource gathering, which is not so hard to mine up a single block for your house once you have reached post eye or post worm/brain

One aspect of terraria that I like a lot is the way the game is built so the community doesn't have a lot of back seating for example

If we go specifically on combat, there are different classes which all of them end up being good and people aren't arrased by having a playstyle or a pick choice for a summoner build or a mix of melee and magic like in other communities chokes on a crust of bread ultrakill chokes on a whole loaf of bread
and going more general, there is a lot to do in the game that isn't just fighting and rushing, like just building and focusing on other things

if there is only 1 guard it's not really a problem but other enemies uh oh

being able to cancel any attack into parries or dodges is very nice but it dont mean much when you can get like

an enemy going for something unparryable and another enemy going for something that needs to be dodged in specific ways

so if youre like trynna duck the bodyguard's big strikes, a flashkick might sweep you so you're fucked
