I will say though, darktide has a boner for not letting the player get too powerful

veteran is deceptive tbh, you don't want to be shooty shooty 24/7 and builds that make you like that aren't going to be effective in my experience

I've found fun in being a support powerhouse, keeping my team alive and destroying hordes before the zealot can even put their finger on them

big magazine and can pop heads if you know what you're doing

I don't like how the head hitboxes can be inconsistent though, especially on mutants and bosses (they jerk around a lot with their animations)
