You might like the original Orcs Must Die, its a tower defense played from the perspective of a 3rd person character. I think later it might've gotten bloated with random stuff, but I remember playing the original and enjoying it. You may also enjoy TF2's mann VS machine mode, which is another take on tower defense from a first person, team perspective. Also there's lots of warcraft 3 mods for tower defense.

not sure about you but during all mother narwa after the first time I had ridden the elder dragon I heard proof of a hero play which is okay but all mother narwa's theme, and the idea that just me as a hunter killed it by my self is significantly cooler than just wyvern riding an elder dragon who had no reason to be there in the first place

I think in some cases, of MHW slowness was a good thing for some monster fights, I like to compare zinogre between worlds and rise and immediately, the weight behind zinogres hits in rise was a lot less, uh. oomph too it since they sped up his animations which made me sad (I'm pretty sure they also toned him down due to being an earlier game monster but yeah)
that slowness in world really made a big difference between zinogres amped up state since that speed really did feel significant

so here, let me compare my Fear and Hunger series vs my Minecraft series to explain what I like between the two:

Fear and Hunger: Dark, and has a great atmosphere. It's really fun for me to try and commentate over it. I have a general sense of what I'm doing and where to go so I have a basis of what to say, and I can tell my editor was having a blast editing. The problem with that game was that it took a lot of willpower to play in the first place due to how much time and effort I have to put in to the game, so I would have to physically wrestle myself to record an episode sometimes.

Minecraft: A standard classic. Really fun and especially fun with friends. I can easily start up the game at any time to play, especially with what I have planned for it. My problem is that I kind of have to make up my own goals and just try to constantly talk to keep things going. It's a lot more improv compared to the other series.

So based on those two series I've recorded so far, if I want to go for the standard let's play just like the old times, ig I'm looking for a game that can give me a general basis of what to say and where to go while also just, kinda being a fun game on its own that I don't have to basically strain myself to play

The achievement you get for completing a singleplayer match is called "Playing chess with yourself" for reference

So basically the game starts frozen
You have 30 seconds to pick a move
You are presented with every possible action you can make

The game plays for the shortest animation selected with few exceptions (It'll tell you clear as day when it happens) and then pauses again
Rinse and repeat until someone dies

You can also see every possible move your opponent can make

And it shows a little prediction of what's gonna happen with the moves you selected and the move you think you're opponent is going to do

So you can fine tune everything

It's entirely a battle of wits

So if you're too dumb just do what I do

Set it the polar opposite direction of the dude and then forget about it until bullet ricochets show up

Sometimes I'll set it to space when I get to like 4x

A friend of mine got the game today
He fought the dude that taught me the game

As his third game

And he almost fucking won by virtue of "What the fuck is that mixup"

I thought maybe it actually clicked for him until I saw a move he did at the end

He just got lucky

like im in the menus and i find an option for the opponent that i literally cant counter so i just do some stupid shit and it works because they didnt find the option

If you find a button and you can't counter it try pushing block to parry it

If that doesn't work
