Leveling up your sub attack will give you free module slots for your descendent

Kick is strong enough to push big enemies to the floor and one shot small babies

So what’s the slide used for anyway? It’s a burst of speed, but it’s got a startup that seems to cancel it out unless you slide out of a long fall

yea the slide isn't super useful unless you're rivulet

which is why you use the slide jump, if you jump near the end of a slide it makes you do a big bounce

you go into other movement mechanics through it, plus you can use it to shove a spear down a lizard's throat
