Just stayed up an hour past the time I try to go to bed because I found out Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has a roguelike minigame

You take on waves of enemies, each enemy killed gives you a currency, you spend that currency on items that give you buffs

And those items compound on eachother and then you build up a deathball

I wonder where I’ve seen this concept before

I had an item build going where primary attacks healed, also primary attacks dealt double damage, also primary attacks were faster. So my primary was doing most of the work

Everything was going great until I was suddenly dead

Roguelikes are awesome :)

My favorite item was a “cursed” item that doubled damage but reduced max HP, a unique concept nobody else has ever come up with

Doombringers are mech suits and they all have pliots

One Doombringer suit for each of the 10 basic magics

Also anyone can pilot a Doombringer , mostly dwarf that build them since they are all naturally gifted at handwork and making weapons and machines

But you do have to be a near expert in the type of magic your suit uses

mechs and magic is such a wild combo but it also does make sense when u got dwarves that can make all sorts of crazy stuff

Doombringers are the perfect combination of magic and technology in my world

Have to be piloted by someone who isn’t only skill in magic but also technology since most pilots will have to fix their own suits on the go and fast

The mech does have it’s own pool of mana it stores but for some of the more extreme suits like Trailblazer and Shocktrooper that storage doesn’t last too long

They are used typical for special operations rather than sending a army you would send a Doombringer

Either one of the special suits or a small squad of weaker Doombringers

Beyond that, it's not really a bad idea to just strike up a conversation with someone, even if it's over something miniscule, such as a piece of clothing or a keychain; a small interaction can often go a long way

you have to use jkil for spinning it like you would with a stick on a controller
