theres so much the game has to help you improve, and players making things to help others improve

but its definitely one of, if not the most, technical game out there

because, sure you could get good at something like CSGO, but those are skills that can then translate to other games.
nothing translates into rocket league, and nothing can translate because of rocket league.
its on its own level of complexity, and its awesome.

theres apparently a rocket league racing game in the works, which I can only imagine how boring that'd actually be

ok so, how something like the Oculus Quest works is it has infared cameras on the headset itself, which is what does the tracking. Cameras see sensors in the controllers, which is how they track movement.

something like the HTC Vive or Valve Index have these hardware base stations that basically just shoot lasers all around your room, and the headset and controllers pick up on those lasers to track movement.

You can get MUCH better tracking with the base stations since they work in the dark and only need to be in direct sight of any base station, while on something like Quest, it has to be able to see the controllers so you cant play in a dark room

The labyrinth is full of secret stuff for you to find most important being the Enigma one of the best guns in the game

Medic is a good secondary class if your having problems maintaining health otherwise would recommend Handler or if you want to go for maximum damage hunter
