You get a trait point per boss kill and can find book easily, and you’ll hit the max trait points pretty quick

I though max was 85 but it’s 60, which I’m still fine with since you get 2 traits for free off your class choice

I have no points at all into stamina since I don’t use any stamina heavy classes(aka challenger) so I put most of my points into reduce cooldown and mod generation, and after anything that increases the power of my guns since my build is pure fun focus

I prefer the ability to just keep getting stronger and stronger as I keep going

it doesnt hurt build diversity

all this does is now force it more than it needs to be

Crippled it quick a lot in 1 since no matter what build you had you always had good crit damage, crit chance, powerful gun, max health, max stamina, max speed, max etc

If all your stats are maxed out than you don’t have to build for too many things, reason why gun builds never had to build crit cause your traits have you all the crit you needed

Didn’t need to build crit or weakpoint damage or mod generation, just pure gun damage since your traits covered everything else

having 30% crit chance helped Radiant Armor stack crit faster than only 5%, meaning I could have an improved crit build

then everything else like the mod generation, health, stamina, whatever, is just nice QoL

The trait values form them were so high that each trait was a game changer

25% increase is a lot in this game

Nevermind some of them had 100% increases

also Remnant 1 traits meant I could easily swap builds to whatever I wanted once you got into the higher levels of trait points

I could decide "yknow, I wanna summoner" and then just swap gear. no need to swap a bunch of points around

You can still do the same in 2 if you just build for a generic trait set up, the way I have mine right now I can run any class and do perfectly fine with them

Currently can’t find any other method to obtain them but they might be available to other classes as purchasable reward in the future
