Since you only really got answers about overkill, I’ll explain a little more in general

As far as I remember (according to a majority of the employees) epic is one of the worst possible places to work as a coder due to weeks of crunch, awful working conditions, and the fact that the term “stress casualty” even exists
Also, they’re just about the worst company for battle pass bs, exploitative business practices, marketing to children, fomo, the works
