Its kind of selective perception, I won't speak ill of certain companies but if you look at examples like Nintendo's Mario and Zelda titles I think they're keeping pretty honest

Nintendo's in house like EAD titles or whatever they're good, they're consistently good

They predictably give people what they want within what I believe is genuinely reasonable ability

They were so social and localized that u had a better perspective on the experience. U knew u were better than joey69 but you knew once BigSlammerXx joined whoever's team he was on would just win and that gave a more localized perspective that didn't like suffocate you

The card are simpler than they seem and we memorize most of our cards anyways cause it’s simple effects just with long text

Half the text is just telling you ruling on the card or some kind of archetype gimmick that is on all card of that archetype

Like all floos card have text stating: “if this card leaves field banish it, if a winged beast is normal summon to your field add this banished card to hand”

Besides that there effects are “add a level 4 or lower winged beast from deck to hand” or “add 1 Floos spell/trap from deck to hand”

And most of cards in the game just have a ending text saying: “can only activate the following effects once per turn” most cards
