Aw yeah. How I missed (not) Blizzard. Waited 30 mins to get into D4. Played for 40 minutes, got disconnected. Another queue for 116 mins, got a network problem error in the very end, and another 110 mins.

Never disconnected in the closed beta, but there were stutters when a group of players were around. If the open Beta is rough, I will NOT be surprised.

I am still wondering how they are not able to fix servers in 20 years. Why 20 years? D2R had similar server issues

With how they operate, you would think they are. Updates that take forever, lack of content. Only think AAA about them is their prices.

Dont get me wrong though, I already bought Diablo, and Ill have no regrets, but I know what Im walking into, most people dont.

Yea, truthfully, until you hit like 10-15, it feels very crunchy. But once you get some points and some legos, its still slow, but mobs shouldnt bother you as much.

I will say, if your looking for Diablo 3 speed, turn back now.

I hated D3. It as an ok couch coop thing for one evening

Maybe I am not used to this slow pace. But felt really unnatural

After awhile I preferred it. It felt less like mowing the grass and more thoughtful in combat. As for overworld travel, you cant get the Mount quest in the beta, so Im sure thatll help on release.

OH, and the world boss event was awesome, I hope they through more big boi events in the final version than just a sprinkle of them.

Maybe even do some seasonal stuff too. And not like Diablo seasons ( though I want that too) but holiday themed stuff.

D3 was bad in terms of variability. No building your character, a guaranteed legendaries and so on

Took out all the fun. And online only. Where server lag kills your hero

You still have to level grind to get abilities

The paragon system exists as well

My issue was the nerfs for builds. When Capt America was poised to be top builds one of the seasons, they smacked it down so hard. Blizzard wanted you to play the way they wanted to play. And as soon as they started doing some decent seasons like the "Legacy of Dreams" season, Diablo 4 was a year or so around the corner.
