Is there anything I should know for the start of darktide?

if you're just starting out nothing too important, i'd recommend sticking to Difficulty 2 and trying out all the classes at least until level 3-5 to see what you really like. You'll get access to buy (or get from missions) cooler weapons as your operative gets to a higher level, you could get into difficulty 3 as soon as you get access to it but i recommend doing 3s once you get to level 8 or 10 (that's when you get your second Feat/trait)

usually in difficulty 1 and 2 you can just go monkey mode and kill everything, but don't get used to that cause from Diff 3+ you'll have to start focusing on getting specialist, CCing hordes and dodging appropriately. Stick to your team for the buffs you guys get when you're together

Poxwalker deal a lot of damage when they explode, plus it's aoe so always keep an eye on them and shoot them down before they get to the team. If they are extremely close and you can't kill it in time you can do a block + mouse1 with melee to push them and then dodge backwards with space. Always try to dodge sideways for the hounds, trappers and mutants

but the forest is also like every other "early access survival" game
that being buggy janky and goofy on some 2000s game engine
