"i can balance out my viral and slash" like theres a few scenarios where this is relevant

1. your melee is so fucking good you don't even need to prime for normal enemies, in which case you might as well just drop the 60/60s for more damage
2. your melee is good enough to kill normal units with the viral procs but you can't kill heavies without dumping melee into them for like 10 seconds in which case you just prime
3. your melee is so fucking weighted into slash that you want constant slash procs with weeping wounds in which case you just go condition overload and full 60/60s with viral and just prime
4. you don't have epitaph yet, in which case get the epitaph
   tl:dr simply get the epitaph, prime the room with like 10 stacks of viral, and fuck shit up you lazy nerd

yeah you literally cannot parry this melee attack from gabe/ferryman in this situation. why, you may ask? because you're too far away. Its gonna hit you, yes, but the parry in this game isn't a parry. you literally do not parry the attack, instead you punch the enemy in the face and pretend its a parry

so basically if you wanna parry gabe or ferryman you need to be really close to them even though their move may have 99km of range
