Sadly I have yet to fight a hammer with earth/poison damage on it

Stuck with water dual daggers and earth greatsword for now

Best to use polearms or long swords with Greyhawk

Greatsword does too much damage to allow you to soulshatter effectively and if you can’t soulshatter you have no damage

Polearm and longsword special attacks build up soulshatter like it’s nothing even if you aren’t build into increase soulshatter damage

What ruins it is that the dodge combos makes you step forward which can mess it up sometimes

Dual blades are the highest risk highest reward playstyle

This weapons instead of having a special attack meter like other weapons it has a beserker mode meter that you build up

Level 1, 2, 3, and 4

Giving you a bigger damage and speed bonus at each level

You can see that in the both right above my weapon

Greatsword has a similar thing but that meter will increase the size and duration of your special attacks rather than damage

Every other weapon just has two bar with each being a special attack use, can be used for light or heavy special

You can do charged attacks, timed attacks, rampage attacks, and polarity attacks to change or modify basic attacks and combos

Also some shield combos can be worked into your basic combos

Timed attacks are weird at first but you eventually learn to time them without the game giving you the cue
