Optimal nidus gameplay revolves around using your 1st and 2nd in tandem mostly for mutations because it eventually takes longer for it to kill at late game, then using your parasitic link for that huge damage reduction value

Once you gain the helminth section people tend to remove his 4th skill sometimes since his other three are kinda necessary

Oh yeah, nidus fun fact that you probably knew: each enemy hit with his first skill refunds 25% of the energy for the initial cast so technically you can generate energy so as long as you hit more than four enemies at once
