Are those the things that sometimes drop from monsters?
Theres logs for areas too
Yeah, that one is an environmental logbook for commencement
Oh ok
Bosses have a 3% chance to drop their logbook and normal monsters have a 1% chance
Mithrix I think can drop it at the end of phase 1, 2, and 4
You complete two seeded stages as fast as you can
Teleporter is bound by two crystals you have to break
Are seeded like in other games where it’s like predetermined
Then you can use it
Yep
Same set of stages and item layout every time
Ok then
It updates every three days
We have a beast called cabbage who does the achievement on every prismatic trail
For the last 6 years
Oh really!
Dayum
There’s tech😉
My god this is better than I thought
you pretty much never wanna go all in on a printer, having a variety of items is always better than stacking a ton of one thing
especially damage items because they tend to multiply each other
also obligatory advice, always full-clear stages and don't rush to the teleporter. Loot is how you get stronger
most of these are debatable tbh,
are the only ones I'd say can always go directly into a scrapper
This part I have down cause I’m a conpletionist
lepton daisy is only good on drifter and false son if u get 2
I can't think of a single reason it would be good on them specifically ngl
lepton daisy is only good for crafting at wandering chef imo (i also don't get why it would be good on drifter at all, i feel like i'd rather have the green scrap passive regen than a lepton daisy)
exactly
why are you finding it good on false son if you have two specifically?
idk too lol, false son has crazy healing with meridians will if you need healing
hearty stew, convert that green scrap regen into damage
^ regen into damage
i dont get it
false son at max regen means a lot of regen. hearty stew converts that regen into damage when you're at max hp
oh ok so you mean crafting items
hearty stew is made exclusively with lepton daisy
ok
ohhhh okok so we were all on the same page
why didnt i got the achivement and unlock for killing mithrix with aurelionite when hes got lunar ruin? i got the achivement in game but didnt get the ability
did aurelionite deal the killing blow?
yeah
wait you got the challenge marked as completed but no meridian's will?
you sure it ain't the mastery skin?
wait no i dont have it in game but when mithrix died it showed an achivement
which achievement was it?
maybe it was lunar stakes
do it with lunar spikes
i mean achivement
polak siema
siema
lunar stakes achievement is for getting +40 spikes through growth right? idk how you would have got that from killing mithrix
yeah thats wierd
unless you were exactly 1hp away and you had infusion or smth
go check your achievement history and see what the last one was
best moveset for false son?
alt util and alt special, s2 is debatable
stakes has better power and value from backup mags but is single shot which makes it horrible if you wanna really use lunar tempering
why havent i got the e1 badge on operator
Anyone know how to do splitscreen using just commands?
Do you need to have multiple steam accounts?
pc?
Yeah, Steam
i know there is a very rough implementation in vanilla
idk if it still exists tho
if you want something properly playable though, use this mod https://thunderstore.io/package/dodad/XSplitScreen/
its really quite well polished
Yeah I've heard it isn't great, but it seems there are commands that should let you. I was looking on youtube and a guy entered a couple commands and made a multiplayer game, and invited some of his friends from steam
Idk, I just don't really want to get into mods
invited steam friends to splitscreen?
it wont have anything
unreliable source of info
don't let the clankers think for you bro
Are you sure they were playing in vanilla? Mods can add their own commands
generally people use https://thunderstore.io/package/IHarbHD/DebugToolkit/
I went through the list of commands at https://riskofrain2.wiki.gg/wiki/Developer_Console and didn't see anything related to enabling splitscreen
The Developer Console is a UI window which provides a history of the most recent event logs and also allows the player to issue commands or toggle some setting variables.
It is disabled by default, but can be enabled on PC by pressing:
Ctrl + Alt + ~ for US/UK keyboards
Ctrl + Alt + Ö for German keyboard
Ctrl + Alt + Ñ for Spanish keyboard
C...
You can still use the dev console without that, that just adds a lot of useful ones and makes it easier
I don't think there are any commands in there relating to what they're looking for though
you need it to enable cheats
in vanilla there are many even on that page that you cant enable
There is a vanilla command to enable cheats though, DebugToolkit just does it by default as i understand it
You can't really use any console commands without the toolkit
it doesnt work
cheats in vanilla is set to 0 no matter what
Other than basic things like playerlimit
Yeah you're right mb
Anyway yeah closest thing I could find is test_splitscreen which did nothing even with DebugToolkit installed
i heard it either doesnt work anymore or never did yeah
Is there a chance the newt shrine doesn't spawn on sundered grove?
No, it always does
check ||the tree root under the main tree in the cave area, the horizontal log segment between the main tree and the fallen tree, and the mushroom platform at the top of the main tree||
I found it eventually (i was just not looking in the right place)
How do I do the glitch while using false son?
Found out it was patched
Could someone please explain to me how Networked Suffering works? I don't quite understand what it's doing or how to use it most effectively
You damage an enemy to put in a group of enemies
Damage dealt to anyone in the group gets added to a pool of damage. Every 3 or 4 seconds, this damage is dealt to every enemy in the group and reset to 0
AoE is very effective once you've got enemies in a group since all that aoe damage is added to the pool for each enemy in the group hit
A very strong force multiplier
Ah, I see now
Thank you
Bungus supremacy?
is there a command to locate specific objects from the console? attempting to find the lockbox on the moon will be the death of me one day
I am a god-forsaken console player so I will never know the glory of mods or the dev console
So who should I clear the game with next? Huntress, MUl-T, Engi, Artificier, Or Mercanary?
give_equip radar scanner
Engi
Engi
My pookie bear engineer 🤩
what are the best green items for bandit? i still need to learn all the items

oh cool thank you
basically he wants everything evervy other character wants like atg, bands are fine with special etc, predatory instincts boosts attack speed with crit shots, scythe heals with criticals
i am using the command thing just to learn the items and match the icons with the effects (i won't use it forever as that would be boring) but the two that you mentioned and others in the other rarities don't appear how do i "unlock" all of them?
my only thought would be that i have to get them normally without the command but that would be difficult to remember as to which ones i am missing
Gotta unlock em through challenges
The scythe is gotten by completing a prismatic trial
And predatory instincts is, I think, achieving a super high attack speed
i did it/got it
if you look through the challenges tab in the logbook, anything that isn't an artifact unlock or survivor-specific challenge will unlock either a survivor or an item, so it's worth working through those just to have every survivor and item available to you
yeah i had a look in there after i got the attack speed thing
i never thought to look in there before as i thought it was just the monster logs lmao
ohhhhhh that's fair
You can also check it mid-run from the pause menu, if you ever need to double-check conditions.
yeah thats how i looked at it, thank you though
Do you need to own Alloyed Collective to use remote operation after you die?
no
That was added as a base-game feature that came with the update, anyone can use it regardless of DLC status.
is collapse capable of proccing bands i don't remember
not even singularity band?
It has the same condition as normal bands
And DoTs have no proc coefficient, they can't proc anything at all
Im kinda new to the game. Been playing maybe a week. Still working on unlocking everyone but i do hsve all the DLC's. I mainly play looter shooters and love AOE characters.
Who would yall say is be the best character to shoot for an AOE build?
It kinda depends on the AoE items you’re looking for, and if you want AoE built into the character’s kit
artificer and acrid have good aoe built into their kits
but all survivors can do well aoe with items
Commando is good for proccing items that either do Single-Target, AoE, or DoT, but doesn’t have good strength on his own
Operator has ways to deal good single-target and mix in some AoE without many items
It’s kinda about playing with everyone and their kits to figure out what you like
Or to also get good with everyone, doesn’t really matter what you do, as long as you’re having fun!
Any tips for getting a good early game with False Son? I usually play with Rebirth, Sacrifice, and on Monsoon, and the first couple stages really decide if the run lives or not
as the survivor?
Yeah
hes kinda item agnostic

he works with pretty much anything you throw at him idk
This also goes for Seeker and CHEF
Although that’s unrelated
Alright thanks
If it comes down to it, learn how to cope with him
seeker is less item agnostic, and more that she doesnt need them lol
True that
True that
Is Mercenary just really fucking hard? I easily managed to get to the boss on all characters so far but I can't seem to get to finish even second stage with him
He's one of the more difficult characters to play, yeah
you gotta get good at abusing iframes and expose
he's also not great at single-target damage, so he can struggle with the final boss sometimes
He has a high skill ceiling, and once you get him down, he’s really fun
He’s also a melee, so he’s harder by default
Playing him right involves maximizing how many skills you’re using in a short period of time
he does have some useful tech you can learn, using a dash or m2 on the first few frames of his 3rd sword swing allows you to carry the sword hitbox through the entire length of the dash, instead of just cancelling the sword
It takes some practice and isn't totally necessary to learn, but it's useful to know
It also boosts your DPS for Eviscerate and can help with Slicing Winds in melee range
A general rule of thumb is to just always use M1 and use other skills when the 3rd hit comes out
If you’re running Eviscerate, it’s recommended to get a bunch of attack speed to maximize its damage
On the topic of loadouts, all of them are viable, and none of his skills are bad
bear in mind that this tech gets harder to do with too much attack speed
and merc's attack speed scaling isn't great anyways apart from evis, the sword is slow and it can actually shorten the range of his secondaries due to the stupid way they programmed them
Why dont i have the artifact that spawns the big gold giant guy
Right so my friend and I are having an argument and we both can’t prove we’re right… does slug affect corruption on veind?
no
That friend seems very cool
regen doesn't affect corruption, only true healing
Well well well
Really?
Oh i will be damned that
Look who’s right
does garags opus work on aurelionite
it works on all allies
Sure
how did it go? if you've got there yet
horrible. mithrix was on 55 hp and i couldnt shoot another spike at him or else he died and my aurelionite didnt attack so mithrix didnt have the debuff
you said false son
Im guessing the DLCs are all worth getting right?
i think we all thought you were trying to unlock false son and didn't know auri is hostile if you have her in the false son fight
Ahh
if you're enjoying the game without dlcs then definitely yes, they add a lot of content
scammed
Lowkey bot my fault as my aurelionite wasnt attacking at 55 hp
I sat there watching the debuff go away
i got that one first try but literally everyone else i've spoken to about it says it was a nightmare so i'm assuming i just got lucky
Maybe
my advice would be just hit him with one spike every time they come off cooldown, because the cooldown is 1s shorter than the debuff duration so you're getting constant debuff uptime with minimal damage
What is the first stage that the overloading worm can spawn on?
abyssal depths, but you're unlikely to get it pre-loop without stacking mountain shrines
you can get one fairly easily with artifact of prestige
also spawns on both stage 5s if you don't get abyssal as your stage 4
Also trying to do unlock quests what artifacts should I get?
command is the first one to go for
Like the unlocks for different attacks and skins
command makes most things really easy since you can just choose your items
sacrifice and swarms can also help a lot if you want it to be as easy as possible
So get sacrifice, swarms, and prestige now
most artifacts make the game harder in some way so a lot of them aren't gonna help you with other unlocks
you don't need prestige for an overloading worm
It just makes it easier?
yeah, you can also just get an overloading worm naturally
on monsoon they typically start spawning around stage 8 or 9
unlocking prestige and then doing another run to fight one will just take longer overall
What about rain storm?
and you can do mando's 20 stage achievement on the same run
it'll just take longer, stage ~15 probably
prestige gives you a guaranteed mountain shrine each stage and makes its effects permanent, so if you use every mountain shrine the boss by stage 4 or 5 will be hard enough that they'll have a high chance to get replaced by an overloading worm
Oh, OK
Also, do I need to turn off DLC to get sky meadow now because every time I’ve had it on I got one that new stage five
you definitely don't need it for that unlock though, as fax said you'll get an overloading worm naturally if you just loop the run for long enough
no, it's just a 50/50
no, it's 50/50 but i think helminth hatchery is guaranteed if you fought false son that run
ah yeah
(and helminth is arguably the better stage to get anyway, the boss pool is WAY better)
Every time I’ve played since I got collective, I got the hatchery, even though artifacts can only be done on sky meadow
artifacts can be done on helminth too
^
the machine is at the top of the stage
I had to turn DLC off just to get sky meadow
Oh actually, did not know that
you just gotta go far enough up (which i believe is possible on every character without needing mobility items, haven't needed to go there in a while so i'm not 100% sure)
Follow up question is it possible to get multiple artifacts in a single run
Because I was just thinking if I do the commando 20 stage, I could knock out like four artifacts
you absolutely can
just make sure not to pick up any lunar items all run obviously or you won't get the mando unlock
I usually don’t use lunar anyways because I can never find a refinery or whatever it’s called and I really don’t like the effects
if you mean the removal station that's called a cleansing pool
Yeahhhh
a lot of lunars are very situational, obvious example imo is stone flux pauldron (double health, half movement speed) which is only useful if you have too much speed from looping your run and getting 5 million speed items
Yeah, exactly
i feel like lunars are either game-breakingly strong or completely useless in the majority of runs with no real in-between
but yea as long as you just don't pick any up that unlock is pretty easy, it's just a slog
If you enter Stage 5 at 60 minutes or more, one can show up as a prespawn
can someone tell me if im just bad at it or if commando really is a struggle
im trying to do his challenges on monsoon (killing all birds with one stone) and this guy falls off completely after stage 3
doesnt help that my luck on him to get damage items is terrible
he goes really well with proc items (notably tri-tip daggers are very strong on him) but i find his dps is pretty lacklustre if you don't manage to find those kinds of items to augment it
he's definitely one of the weaker characters, but he's also pretty skill reliant
so it's probably both a skill issue and a survivor issue lol
commando does sometimes get shitty runs where you just have to run around slowly kiting things to death, but he's also fairly good at doing that
i see now
ill keep trying to get lucky on those proc items... if i ever stop getting medkits, toolbelts and fungus
I mean, medkit is pretty good
defensive is all i find in chests playing him
medkit is solid if you aren't playing eclipse imo
not that the item is bad
its jsut all i get lmao
the healing wont be enough if i cant kill what im fighting against
don't forget to grab drones too, they can give you some really consistent support damage on early stages
i have been quite unsure if to get damaging drones, specificaly because of the "land a killing blow on electric worm" challenge
Just out-damage them lmao
overloading worms have so much hp that it's very unlikely a drone will steal the kill
unless you make them absolutely broken with drone combiners and SDP
also
exists, that'll guarantee that you get the kill
oh right this exists
yeah just get a gun problem solved
ill catch it if i see it
(and it'll get you an extremely good boss item)
imo if you're at the point in your run where you see an overloading worm and you aren't outdamaging your drones you're gonna have a tough time killing the overloading worm without a gun
as a newer player at least
or killing anything at all
when you're more experienced obviously you aren't gonna find a big worm to be a major threat
mid you theres still prime meridian + going through neural sanctum...
you'll learn to love commando eventually, everyone does
it's like puberty for ror2 players lol
ask any veteran player, most of them will tell you that they started liking commando a lot after a while
Seeker is also the most broken survivor in the game, so it's hardly a fair comparison
I liked commando after being forced to play with him to do the quests
design and interest wise. stat and etc i understadn is a little too much
seeker special just makes my rhythm brain go brr
i find seeker's kit really fun but she feels so much stronger than most other survs to me it isn't really fair
i miss pre roadmap seeker
my first time fighting solus wing i was playing seeker and literally just sat on it and facetanked the entire fight without ever dipping below half health (i killed it easily but learned nothing and then on my next runs proceeded to die to the final phase 10 times in a row because i didn't get how it worked)
the new alts are cool tho
one i wanna learn a little better would probably be void fiend
i don't really get why meditate has a revive but the other one (i forget the name) doesn't
obviously the revive is completely broken but i don't understand why they only put it on one of her specials
What is this
diario de bordo
well, clearly it says Diário de Bordo
or do you mean the square below?
🔨
Bro are u serious
Uuh no
Yes
strange then... maybe getting something new can fix or maybe check integrity files
apart from that, i know no way else that could help...
turn it off and on again 👍
ps5?
Yes
Can you start a run?
Yea
Ah
good
uh basically old run reports dont get deleted on ps5 specifically
you gonna have to wait like a year
because this isnt gamebreakinh enough to warrant a fix according to gearbox
Or delete your save for a fresh one
atp just turn it off. what your eyes dont see, your heart dont feel
It'd be super fucking nice if they at least acknowledged it
Like, holy shit, 3 months with not a peep
whats the best survivor for movement as a starter?
huntress, seeker and operator all have good mobility
if you don't have dlcs i'd say huntress
is commando mid?
Loader is the best overall mobility-wise but she has a learning curve
yeah kinda, doesn't really matter though
yeah he's not the strongest but you can still consistently win with him
yeah, I have beaten the game 2 times in total, also, whats the survivor with the grappling hook?
you can with any survivor tbh, i feel like the most important thing is just playing characters you enjoy because every survivor is viable
Loader
the melee one? loader
idk if there's another one
how do you unlock it
Beat the secret boss on Siren's Call
on a specific stage 4 (siren's call) there's a secret boss, you can fight them by ||destroying several small blue eggs around the map|| (censored in case you wanna work it out for yourself)
ah the big thing
the very same
commando is very solid but definitely on the lower end
but not really either?
he's a strange one for how simple he is
but regardless "the lower end" in this game is still quite high so i wouldn't worry about it unless you're struggling with him
hard boss
eh, mostly just tanky
can definitely kill you but its attacks aren't too hard to avoid
watch the floor mostly, id say
also mostly just keep moving to the side and jump every time it starts firing the projectile barrages
a lot of dodging in this game is deceptively simple
as a starter is it worth doing the event under the time thingy? the void cells or smth, i tried it and activated 1/9 cells i think theyre called
it unlocks a character, so it's worth doing for that at least. Plus it gives you some good loot if you can survive it
its worth it more on early levels, in my opinion
i feel like it gets more annoying afterwards
void fields are very rng-based in terms of how difficult they are so i would say as a way to improve the run, no purely because your sense of "oh this is a HORRIBLE situation i need to get out NOW" isn't as trained as a newer player
but it's also pretty RNG-heavy, you may need to dip out early if you don't think you can survive (you can leave at any time, there's always a portal available on the map. You can only go there once per run though)
i'd say it's worth going until you see enemies/items that seem hard to deal with, but that's not easy to discern when you're new to the game
i would say dip if you see 5 crowbar stacks tho
you can actually counter crowbars by using void fog to stay under 90%, but an annoying thing to have to micromanage
having to keep in mind the 90% threshold for a new player isnt ideal tho, let alone having to remember the number through the entire event
plus, depending on what items you have, relying on the fog just for that can be detrimental for someone
i dont like running out so i just accept my fate and fight to death
big 50/50
i died after doing the first cell because couldnt find another one
look for purple beams in the sky
^
are they really that far apart
it's a good idea to have a consistent way to heal and some decent move speed before you go there
i did it at stage 1
if you have fungus, you can even counter the first few seconds of the fog to heal a bit
but the longer u stay out the more dmg it does based on your health
i think the average was 30 seconds without healing?
something like that
theres also characters you can just deny the fog... looking at seeker and void fiend
heretic lol
is transendence good? i heard its op but i dont really understand how it works
its good, but all your heals turn useless
and character dependent too
sometimes its not worth it
which isn't necessarily a bad thing, all your healing items become free scrap
but it is very strong IF you're decently good at not getting hit
yeah, good point
but if you can consistently avoid damage long enough for your shields to recharge, it's basically just a free health buff that also solves all of your healing needs
wasnt there a void item related to shields? i wonder what happens if you mix that
plasma shrimp
and yeah, it gives shrimp perma uptime, which is nice
also kinetic dampener
but kinectic needs shield to break
it give 30 armor while you have shields up
if your shield breaks on transcendence, your 1 hp is not gonna give you sans dodging
the shield break thing is really just a bonus
well, i guess 50% of teh item's passive is better than 0
passive 30 armor for free is pretty damn good
wait
30 armor is +30% effective health
doesnt
and
mix well? since youre constantly overhealing past 1hp?
not really
most healing is %-based, which will scale off of the 1 hp you have with transc
ah i see
what does "to obliterate" mean?
it basically only works if you have a lot of flat healing like scythe, or maybe upgraded healing drones
it's an alternate ending accessible by looping, there's a celestial portal that always spawns on the 3rd map of every loop
so you'll first get it on stage 8
and i dont have to fight mythrix?
nope
when you get to either stage 5's, the altar is different and lets you interact with the rim, which shifts it and makes you loop instead of going to commencement
unless your stage 5 is a dlc stage or gilded coast, which the portals just loop you naturaly instead
and how does the story work? how do i escape the planet
kill mithrix and escape
but he said no mythrix
thats the main plot ending
well, theres multiple endings
but when you reach the fifth stage of a loop (normal 5th stages) the same thing happens. theres the altar you can shift if you wanna loop AGAIN or you can go to commencement
so to complete the run and say victory, i have to kill mythrix no matter what?
if you want the true ending, yeah. But obliterating still counts as a win for stuff like mastery skins
or you can obliterate yourself and call it a day, thats also an ending
nice
theres also beyond obliterating urself, but you need to do it once at least normaly
and the dlcs have their own ends too
all of which are victories
for me 8 euro game is enough
8 euro well spent
the game is ok
even tho i died 9 times since last win but im exploring so doenst rly matter
that's just how roguelikes are
the early stages and events are better than mythrix
you bang your head against a wall until one or the other breaks
break every wall
mithrix isn't amazing as a boss but he does get easier once you get the hang of the fight
I have some tips for it in the pins if you want
yeah its pretty lame imo, it takes long
sure
yeah ngl, final bosses have never been ror2's strong point. Although the one from the Alloyed Collective DLC is really good
thx for tips, ima go now, ill try tomorrow to kill the king
gl
What exactly does artifact of sacrifice do
chests don't spawn but enemies have a chance to drop items
Oh, OK
Thought it was something else entirely
Also, when it says completely the event on the prime meridian that just means beating false son right
yeah
What’s the process for that like again? It’s been so long since I did the quest
just keep following the green portals
usually you'll start with a halcyon shrine on stage 1 but you can get them a few other ways, the most consistent one being by finding 3 hidden geodes in the bazaar and breaking them
So just activate the shrine and go from there
And then, except the offering of the collective just means beat the solus heart right
yeah, you'll have an option to accept an offering, or just finish off the boss
if you're doing an 'accept' quest, be careful not to kill them by accident
When does that offering come up in the fight?
after you kill it, it'll be alive at like 1hp
it only has one healthbar btw, the first time I did it I thought it was gonna be a second phase and I started shooting immediately lol
So basically, I need to beat the game three times as the main characters, twice as the void characters and once as seekers and collective characters
To get all the skins
you can get mastery skins from any ending
what character should i use to get my first monsoon win
whoever you like the most or feel most confident with, they're all viable
even merc?
yeah ofc
cus ive tried and its hard to beat mithrix in general with merc
So as long as I do one of the other endings on monsoon, I can get two skins on the same run
yeah, he falls off a little against final bosses because his single-target damage isn't great
Oh yeah, final bosses are gonna be difficult with Merc
just wait for windows to punish him and abuse your iframes
i think ill try a dif character, prolly artificer
if you want someone who kills bosses extremely consistently you can try Acrid
and if arti doesnt work, seeker is my last resort
poison does %health damage so you can just let it do the work while you focus on dodging
I also have some tips for mithrix in the pins
hmmmm good idea ima do a quick monsoon acrid run
the pins? im new to the server and theres so many channels, its confusing
Pinned messages
ahhh i see
Also, are Halycon shrines guaranteed to spawn on stage one
no, but they're pretty common, it's like a 66%ish chance because of the stupid dlc spawnpool limit (iirc)
Oh gotcha
if you only have two dlcs active it'll be higher I think
so if i were to disable a dlc the shrine would have a higher spawn rate
cool ig
anyways ima get to my acrid monsoon run, see ya guys
What’s a good number of items to leave a stage with
all of them
and maybe drones too, you always wanna full-loot
get all of them
time does not matter that much
make yourself as strong as possible
Are item rates down on monsoon
i dont like drones that muh
No
They're much better now than they used to be, and now that there's drone scrappers you can turn them into regular item scrap later which makes them worth it
pray
Ummm is this normal i went through the teleporter and now everything is black
At 3 hours, might be
ive not seen that before
Ive had 5 hour runs do fine though
did anything happen during stage transition?
Nope everything was fine
¯_(ツ)_/¯
Like im able to kill enemies fall off the map I just cant see anything
couple of hours late but yea as others have said you want to get as many items as possible, it's far better to spend 10-15 minutes fully looting a stage than to get out in 5 minutes with only half the items
ideally you wanna be getting as much loot as efficiently as possible
hey, how does this work btw?
when one player pauses the game it gets paused for everyone else in the lobby
so if someone needs to go afk they can safely do so without needing to get to a stage where time doesn't progress
so i just havbe to pres sesc?
pretty sure so, yea
whenever you're in the pause menu it'll automatically pause for your friends so you won't get killed by a random beetle while paused
does nto seem to work
there is a pause button in the pause menu
oooh
Am I aiming to beat the game with eevery character i've unlocked and unlock others?
pretty much
or don't, unlocking everything is kinda the main overall goal but you can also just do whatever seems fun
Yeah I want to get an "Ending" With the characters before moving on
so I want to atleast get either a beat mithrix or obliteration
Also I Found my first gold alter
If you want to have a win incentive, go into the Alternate Game Modes menu and select Eclipse

DO those add things to the main game?
No, entirely separate
Hrm.. dunno if I like that but I will try it out
eclipse is monsoon+, would recommend getting used to monsoon before touching it
Makes sense
Will do I think im gettng the hang of it though
just keep moving, avoid aoes
Does cmd-swarm use item like watches when the drones hit?
the damage is considered to be yours yes
otherwise operator's m2 would suck
tbf it would probably still be pretty good
you can use it while doing other stuff and drones are actually strong now
how rare is a triple halcyone shrine...
very rare
sounds like you're basically at top level of gameplay already
if Only my playstyle matched my mindset lol
You’ll get there eventually
Everyone says false sons slam does a lot of damage but mine is very weak im a using it wrong
you've gotta let it charge for just over a second or it just does the same damage as a regular m1
but i think that has a different animation so it should be pretty obvious if you're doing that
So has the Switch 1 RoR2 always had a memory leak problem that caused it to crash?
If not, does that mean if I bought a physical copy and never updated it, I wouldn't have that issue?
it's a 1000% aoe that you can spam like every two seconds
and it has a 1.5 proc coeff if you use it in midair and fall for at least half a second
It says it doesnt do much damage when i use it
And then i go back to my m1 and i shred everything
idk what to tell you, just make sure you're actually charging the slam fully
this is all i can think of
Hey, so I’m like super stuck on the second part of the false son fight, playing Void Fiend
stuck in what way
Keep dying, is there like a strategy I can use or is it just a skill issue?
when the statue starts shooting the massive laser of death you need to break line of sight with it (hide behind one of the pillars), aoe items can be useful for dealing with the golems that spawn in, if you get lunar ruin (funky health bar debuff that the laser or the boss's spike attack apply) you can cleanse it by interacting with the geodes (yellow interactibles around the arena)
what are the main items i should aim for on false son?
items that give health scale his abilities, luminous shot is great with his charged attack
for the laser my best tip is to always use the pillars at the back (facing the statue) of the arena since those are the easiest to deal with laser from
in phase 2 it's as simple as moving backwards while looking at the pillar once fs is there, but in phase 3 where the arena is smaller, you wanna stay close to the pillar to bait out a melee, wait for him to get close and melee, then move backwards
is drifter gone tokyo drifting
There is a cheese method for False Son, but it’s only necessary for Eclipse 8, but it works fine for Phase 2 on Monsoon
aight ty
does kijiros band proc flame so it works with ignition tank?
no
ignition tank only affects the status effect burn, kjaro's band is just damage over time in an area flavoured as a 'runic flame tornado'
god, I wish
it would make it less of a hard synergy
plus, increasing kjaro dps would just be wonderful
should i get hooks of heresy on drifter with trash cube i have 10 focus cristals
probably not
I am biased though, and I really don’t like hooks
can engis turits use hiker boots
yes, you'll have to put them on high ground for them to really make use of it though
whats the real diffrence on atg and plasma shrim and witch one is better
It really depends on your build and character
Easiest way to decide which to grab is if you have
or not
atg is a chance to activate but does more damage, plasma shrimp gives you a shield and is guaranteed while you have the shield but does less damage - both are very good
AtG is 300% total damage with a 1.0 proc coeff and a 10% proc chance
Shrimp is 40% total with 0.2 coeff, and guaranteed proc chance as long as you have shields active
Generally shrimp is better due to the fact that you'll always have 1 extra shrimp, but AtG outperforms it if you have clover, or if you're a character with self-damaging skills that can't keep shields up easily
There's also the smaller detail that AtG missiles can find a new target if the original one dies, whereas shrimp missiles just fizzle out. But AtGs can also miss whereas shrimp never does
Strafe is overall better, but Flurry has higher damage potential
what makes strafe better?
Not needing Crit for it to be good and having a 1.0 proc coeff.
flurry starts having higher dps than strafe when you reach ~70% crit iirc
so flurry is better if you can get to high crit but most non-looped runs won't get there so strafe is the more consistent choice
dw about it, it's what the channel is for
To elaborate on this, looking purely at the damage of the arrows themselves, flurry starts out a bit weaker, passes at 18% crit, and is 50% stronger at full crit
However it also has a weaker proc coefficient, so total DPS including proc items only surpasses at the 76% crit level mentioned here, and only ends up being 7.6% stronger at full crit, and it also has the downside of taking longer to switch targets since all the flurry arrows have to hit the same enemy
So purely numbers-wise, the tradeoff is being weaker early for only a very small improvement late-game, so it's definitely not worth it
However, I still use flurry anyway because I have more fun with it
~30% is where it equalizes based on the wiki chart and 56%+ is where it becomes better by at least one watch
damage-wise that is
wiki math was off, fixed it now (pretty sure anyway)
guys, should I get 2 Sautéed Worms or 1 Sautéed Worms and 1 of each perforators?
More different proc items is better
probably 1 of each, having multiple different proc items is usally better
thanks
what type of buld do yall make with rex? what are some of their synergies
Proc builds ig
He's not very good with them because of the .5 proc coeff. across the board, but he can't really do burst and most certainly can't do Support in singleplayer so proc is kinda your only move
You can mesh in a self-damage build with
, but it's not the best thing it can do
Kinda obvious, but Healing builds and self damage builds;
these are the Items I usually look for when playing rex, but I don't main Rex so I could be wrong
yea thanks! i feel like wecho and razorwire are very strong (just from 1 run lol)
its gives you more time to heal so you can use tyour abilities in quick succession without dying (again, from 1 run tho so could be wrong)
i was just spamming seed barrage
and it worked pretty well
whats N'kuhanas even do. (in laymen's terms) ik what the item desc says but i dont understand it lol
for every 10% you heal, you fire a homing skull that deals damage equal to 25% of your health
ignore all the "soul energy" stuff, it means nothing
That sounds good, especially for Rex.
it's not horrible but it's similar to aegis in that it requires an excessive amount of healing to be effective, and it's not worth the effort compared to just getting actual damage reds
anyone knows how to dodge the aoe attack from the giant white jellyfish?
it is a lot better than aegis though
get behind cover, it's based on line of sight
Ok fair
thanks
For reference I remember doing the math and you'd need to be healing 20% HP per second constantly to deal the same dps as commando m1
Though health scales faster than base damage so by stage 5 you'd be doing around captain m1 dps
Still not good enough for the requirement tho
it also only has a 0.2 proc coeff
cap
unless the meta has changed since AC came out, but passive damage is always nice
The damage on it is also pitiful, so even when you get that healing, you might as well have put your items into something else
get more health
Break line of sight or get really far away
the explosion checks LoS from the middle of the vagrant to your character’s feet.
So make sure your feet are behind cover and you’ll be fine
There's no meta imo
this also means you can use the teleporter prongs to block the explosion damage since it’s a very simple check lol
There's good builds and bad builds, but there's is no omega godsend build
what are white items i should always be taking? i tend to lose runs by getting nuked by something and dying before i even realize what happened, even if i have high damage and healing. im guessing i need more damage reduction but im not sure what to be taking.
gives massive armor on a cooldown
helps greatly against low damage high firerare attacks (like wisp blasts and templar chainguns)
best form damage reduction is not getting hit in the first place
exist too but 🤷
i feel like ror2 should update more often, especially in 2026
how do prayer beads work?
as you gain XP, the beads build up extra stats for you, but don't grant them to you. once they are removed from your inventory by any means (scrapper, printer, soup, mithrix stealing them, etc.), those buffs are granted to you
ohh okay, thanks!
i know someone else replied already, but i also want to mention warped echo (reduces the first hit you take every few seconds and splits it into three hits, so it procs items that trigger when you take damage multiple times) - you don't really need more than one, but having one is always nice
Speaking of warped echo, mentioned this in #ror2-discussion but this might be the right place for it
Is stacking echo and tougher times as good as it seems, especially with good healing?
Hating on psg after kinetic dampener came out is unfortunate
oh, unrelated noob question
is delicate watch +20% final damage or just base damage? The tool tip is unclear, some things clarify total damage while some things say base
tougher times is decent to have a few of but it doesn't stack linearly (obviously or at 8 stacks you'd have 104% chance to block damage), so it's worth grabbing a few but not too many imo
i personally don't go out of my way to stack wecho since it just increases the amount of instances the damage is broken into, and doesn't actually reduce the total amount of damage that's dealt to you beyond the first stack
an item that deals % damage means it's dealing that percentage of your damage stat
an item that deals % total damage means it's dealing that percentage of the attack that triggered it's damage (so if you hit for 200% damage and then that triggers an atg missile for 300% total damage, it's doing triple that 200% for 600% of your damage stat)
items that say you deal a percentage bonus damage (watch, ap rounds, focus crystal etc) increase all damage you deal by that percentage while their conditions are met
Yeah, but each stack has a chance to proc tougher times so you'll take less damage (handwaving a little probability there for the sake of simplicity) per hit
Ahh, alright, thanks!
so with watch specifically, you'll be dealing 1.2x damage from all sources (+0.2x per stack), but if you ever get low it's gone for good
Over tons of "trials" it'll average out to the same % damage taken, but due to the more stacks you'll have significantly less variance in the damage. One or two bad rolls with only 3 stacks means taking a whole lot more damage than one or two bad rolls from 7 or 8 stacks
*stacks being damage chunks, sorry
there's a pretty neat table on the wiki for how tougher times stacks, lemme grab it real quick
every stack reduces the remaining chance to get hit by 13% of itself
I yoinked some numbers off the wiki, with 20 tougher times and warped echo, you take ~5.8% damage on average, and 32 warped echos gives you the least variance and is consistently closest to that 5.8
yeah hyperbolic drives me crazy just because the first stack is also 13 and not 15
just think of it as a 1 in 8 chance, it's slightly better than that but not enough to be noticeable
Going up to 40 tougher times has you sit at around 1% damage taken on average, but best odds for lowest damage require ~50 echoes and i don't know at what point it's worth stacking another white item haha
Ig that's what my question boils down to yeah, at how many echoes should I start stacking a different item?
Not how it works, that's exponential
If it were, tougher times block chance at 10 would be 75%, not 60%
if i have a dampener or its a million psgs then yeah ill keep it
otherwise, scrap
do slicing winds hits scale with attack speed?
https://medal.tv/games/ror-2/clips/mpymuwLDogMgLfOT7?invite=cr-MSxBUVAsMTExNjA1NDAx&v=29 hey does anyone know whats happening here? completely vanilla btw.
Watch i sacrificed the dunestrider to a swarm of locusts by STUEWPID and millions of other Risk of Rain 2 videos on Medal. #riskofrain2, #glitch, #ror2
when operator uses m2 to command a transport drone to pick up an immobile enemy it does that
i had to install miscfixes because my preferred operator loadout is default m2 with double transport drone and my computer wasn't strong enough to handle 5 million particles being generated so if i ever triggered that bug the game just crashed
Do runs get harder as I complete them? For example if I complete my 5th run will the 6th be harder and have more scaling for enemies?
nope, the only thing that affects a run's difficulty is the difficulty selection on the character select screen
if you want them to, you should check out the eclipse mode in alternate gamemodes, each run you win unlocks a new eclipse level for that character with a new rule that makes the game more difficult in some way
but yeah normal runs don't
Does doing the trial of metamorphosis switch your survivor after loop or no
yes
Also, which one is the better secondary for commando?
both are fine tbh, just a matter of preference
Also, should I go through the effort of getting the grenade?
yes because 100%ing the game is fun, but I personally think the grenade is sorta mid
also, if you haven’t gotten the other achievement for going 20 stages, you can get two at the same time
imo the grenade is better but only with practice, it's kinda finicky so if you don't want to sink a little time into mastering it suppressive fire will be a much more consistent pick
having a way to consistently proc bands when you can use the grenade well is really powerful
plus it's also just more fun to me, suppressive fire is neat and all but the grenade has more skill expression
I’m personally just a huge fan of on demand stun
if I wanted skill expression, I would be playing Bandit, Railgunner, or Loader lol
that's fair, i just like having a more nuanced ability to spice up the otherwise very straightforward kit
For the timed cheat thing is it just you need to get to RD in 10 or get there and find it in 10
What's considered the best Loadout for mul-t? I have only played power mode double scrap launcher but I want to try something new
double rebar/retool is a classic, it's a little annoying to use though
pretty much anything with powermode is strong, double nail is an easy one
powermode has a funny quirk where the accuracy of the primary weapon affects the secondary, so you can do saw+nail and have a perfectly accurate nailgun with great dps up close
I was playing power mode Saw/scrap launcher (yes, I know, that's stupid) and died to the heart so I'm looking for something easier and comfortable
double nail powermode is probably the way to go if you just wanna turn your brain off and shoot stuff until it dies
Nice, ty
"Skill expression" "Loader"

finding ways to build speed and deal max damage with the heavy tag is a decent amount of skill expression.
It's not as much as the other two characters listed, though. That's for sure

I don’t know if this counts as a game question but imma ask anyways, will ror ever come out on mobile devices?
rorr was close to getting a port
No
ror2 on mobile would be borderline unplayable
so i think my game bugged but i beat minos and the walls wont go down
any fix or do i wait for the moon to explode
nvm i forgot to jump in the orb
lol "minos"
you're absolutely right, but ... people might not know who you're talking about
not really
it was just a side project made for fun
find it
I thought i had play my game in monsoon but at the end of defeating mithrix it was just normal difficuty, can the game set down the difficulty by not killing mithrix faster / doing any other thing? or is it just me doing shit with parameters before i start my run?
The selected difficulty cannot change/be changed once the game starts
you musta misclicked at the start, difficulty can't change mid-run
ok thanks
just recently got all of the dlcs because of the sale! finally got void fiend and got to wave 50 of simulacrum! when do you guys think i should activate the next dlc?i got them all at once so i figured i should finish them one at a time and gradually activate all of them as i go
clover
whenever ya want
imo survivors of the void doesn't have that much content you need to go out of your way to complete aside from the character ability unlocks, so you could probably move on to the next one whenever you feel like it
you could always enable them all now tbh, you have to actively choose to engage with dlc-exclusive areas
still only about a 2.5% chance to drop
That is... definitely not the correct math
Each reroll gives diminishing returns in the total probability
In other words the probability is definitely less than 1%
Potentially still less than 0.1%
ok how would you do the math then
Literally doinf that rn
Oh huh damn I underestimated how much 100 clovers do
2.5% is quite accurate
maybe lets actually do the math before telling someone theyre wrong next time ok?
yeah im saying you shouldve done it before claiming that i was wrong, not after
I got a bit overconfident
rookie mistake
Im washed
hey math guy take a chill pill
that's okay it's good to stay clean 👍
Still though jesus turning a 1/4000 into close to 1/50...
almost 1/40! it's kinda insane but obviously you need 100 clovers to get those odds which is... a lot
Sorry
I get annoyed easily when I put in the effort to find an answer and people don't do the same before saying I'm wrong
Yea thats fair :P
that's understandable ^^
I appreciate that you did go back and check and owned up to it tho
for what it's worth i already replied to their question in a different channel with a screenshot of the calculation included because i was scared i'd made a mistake, so i'm glad someone else did it too and got the same result
I mean I kinda gotta
nah be confident
"well i did the math and it says 1/40 but i'm pretty sure that's because my calculator can't count"
I got rusty as fuckkk in math over the last year
real as hell dawg i used to be so good at it but i haven't needed to use it in years so my ability is just slowly atrophying
im a math tutor irl so i get practice with the basic stuff like constantly lmao
higher level stuff im definitely getting rusty on tho
well dang, if THE math guy is getting rusty i don't feel so bad about doing so myself
nah some people would've just deleted their comment and not said anything, ive had that happen before
happens to everyone lmao
Wtf 💔
Actually no Im right and you're wrong, because im gonna reinvent math in a way so Im right
Hi guys, on an Acrid run rn to unlock his skins I just killed the solus heart, and tried to rerun it by not going on the moon because I didn’t do the halcyon shrine but I can’t seem to find it, is it only on stage 1 ? Do I have to start again to get the Iguana skin ?
the halcyon shrine can spawn on any stage but is more likely to spawn on the first stage of a loop, if you go to the gilded coast (gold portal area) before stage 4 of your current loop there's also a guaranteed green portal after clearing that
The gilded coast being one of the maps ?
gilded coast is the map you get access to by entering a gold portal
How do I even get a gold portal I don’t recall activating one (sry)
Ok found how mb
no need to apologise ^^
is it possible to play with more than four people ?
only with mods, but yes
also the most reliable way to get a green portal is while in the lunar shop, there are some little golden geodes hidden around the place, if you break all of them it'll spawn a green portal
Is it better to go on the false son path right after stage one or should you loop in rainstorm
For what specifically
Like when is it best to activate the shrine so that you have the best success for the false son fight?
i thought that the game technically supported 16 players but you had to dink around in the console to open a lobby for that
loop until everything is only scavengers and dies instantly
False Son sucks to fight so if you don't feel like actually playing the bossfight then just loop
Otherwise go whenever, doesn't really matter
I know there are commands for it, but idk if they're unlocked in vanilla or if you'd need DebugToolkit for that anyway
wiki says console opens with CTRL+ALT+`
you'll always have better odds in a looped run but if you just loop until you're killing everything with ease then you won't actually learn the fight
they said best odds, not actually doing the fight as intended
so if you only care about getting unlocks then you might as well just loop until you're broken beyond comprehension but if you want to learn the boss fight then i wouldn't recommend looping
adding more players is one of the few console commands that does actually work in vanilla
It opens with that yeah but most of the commands just don't work
Also i just got collectors compulsion on false son for the first time and it's crazy good
now think about drifter since junk counts as a pickup
compulsion is an all stats up
It's the only thing increasing my health and i have 13 spikes and 3 laser bursts
It's way better here than on drifter
difference is that drifter can achieve permanent uptime without needing other items or interactibles
false son sees more benefit but drifter can reap the rewards more consistently
good on both imo
Sure but there's plenty of ways to enable it
I just have one monster tooth and it's up constantly
yeah but, for example, in the mithrix fight your monster tooth isn't gonna be giving you the same effects
also either you're lv 65 or you have more hp items
Oh i scrapped a prayer beads that's right
Ok idk how much it'd be doing without that then tbf
when should i choose the voide items for atg and tri tip dagger
i would still consider myself newer considering i havent beat the game once, can anyone give me some tips as a mul-t main?
double rebar retool is good, retool lets you skip rebar's endlag to fire again immediately
power mode good and has some neat interactions although it is an unlock
biggest advice i can give is to try different combinations of weapons to see which you vibe with the most, and prioritise items that play into the strengths of those weapons - if you really like rebar puncher and want to run two rebars then building items like tri-tip dagger which benefit from hitting the enemy a lot is going to be a lot weaker than things like runald's and kjaro's band, which reward you for high-damage hits
personally i prefer nail gun and launcher, i feel like they have a good balance between each other and they are both fun to play with but i will try double rebar and see how far it takes me
there's no wrong answer when it comes to mul-t loadouts imo, some weapons are definitely stronger than others but they all fill different niches and feel fun to use
how much does completing a stage increase the rate of difficulty scaling by
like the wiki says that each stage completed makes the bar go faster but it doesnt say by how much
nvm cant read
15% multiplicatively
command
Atg - plasma shrimps are pretty much universally better, unless you're not able to keep the shield up consistently, and the gap is even bigger for things with a low proc coefficient, such as mul-t nailgun. The only exception to this is if you have clovers, since the luck increase doesn't benefit plasma shrimp, so it can allow atg to overtake it. One clover is enough for atg to be better with a 1.0 proc coefficient, but it takes more clovers the lower the proc coefficient is.
Tri-tip dagger - the void item deals more damage if it's just applied once, but bleed has the benefit that adding a new stack refreshes the duration of the old stack. So if you're playing a character that can consistently keep applying more and more bleed stacks like commando or mul-t, it's better to keep tri-tips, since you can get to hundreds of bleed stacks at once. If you're not able to, then take the void one
get like 5 halcyon seeds, 3 billion lunar shards(not stakes), run alt special, drop all damage boosting items right before mithrix(if you're not running command), during final phase only poke mithrix enough to keep lunar ruin up without killing him(usually 1 shard at a time), wait for aurelionite to do her thing and hope that mithrix doesn't run out of ruin at 1 hp or something
also no offensive drones into phase 4 mithrix, you may have to stall while he pizzas
with enough s2 stacks + laser burst, you don't need any damage items
also if you got AC, you can use SPEX to drop items
or get lucky on verdant falls to get that scrapper on top of the crashed ship. it is guaranteed to either have a scrapper or large chest spawn there even with command
I do have it
you're better off just keeping him under perpetual lunar ruin, the damage multiplier stacks multiplicatively
while false son is not beaten, gilded coast has a 15% chance to spawn in the lunar seers in the bazaar
default recharge is just a bit faster than the debuff's lifespan
yeh
you don't really need to aim that hard to use it in combat, although you do need to keep in mind that it can only teleport to/target proper flying enemies and not airborne walking enemies
Gotcha
honestly find it a lot more useful for beating the crap out of birds and stuff than the default utility
and that is before considering energized core
triple lunar tempering with duration scaling with growth so you can get 100% buff uptime
you do lose the free air mobility of step of the brothers, but you still got laser blast recoil and the itemless false son pillar skips
meridian's will does a big suck on teleport so you can just force them to you
hit some of the flying bozos with the fall damage
One more thing, would you say stone flux is a necessity? It does make me a nuke but I dont like moving THAT slow, even if the tampering buff kinda offsets it
What makes void bands bad
opportunity cost, regular bands are just a humongous damage multiplier
On their own id say they are mediocre, they just corrupt some of the best items in the game
stone flux isn't a necessity but one usually mid run is pretty good, an easy way to get a ton of growth
even if you can't get some beef or infusion, a trip or two to the bazaar can easily get you the growth
because of this, if you spam all your spikes into the ground at the start of phase 4 and then just use one every time you get a charge back, you'll have permanent lunar ruin uptime with minimal damage dealt to the boss
also would not recommend if you're using stakes, the QoL that comes from shards having full auto firing is very important
I see
I love using stakes just cause of the larger hitbox and the more satisfying animation but idk if they are even better in the first place
i would say better aside from that one major issue of being single shot
not being able to easily dump all your s2 makes them worse for longer/laggier runs
your click speed means nothing to 0.5 fps
your pc can survive taking an ICBM?
Yeah
also not agile
yea this
I feel like at MOST I fall to 90
if you could easily dump all your charges, spending a second or two to empty every 10 or 20 seconds wouldn't hurt that much
imo both are perfectly viable depending on preference
stakes got better combat power but shards have QoL for lunar tempering
I see it sorta like bomb vs spear on arti
No clear winner
I like spear more though
I did bro trust. 30 rerolls and when I finally got one on 27 I misclicked it before I hit the boss
So triple shaped glass it was
naw i mean i just looped till I had unstable tesla and got lucky to have the teleporter boss spawn next to me before the spare drone parts got to anything
best keep an eye out for the golden trial combo of command + glass
I mean i ALMOST did current seed. First stage is piss easy because its a halcyon shrine but I just can't cheese the worms like cabbage does
Do you think they are gonna do something about transcendence on Seeker? I won my first monsoon run so effortlessly with that
probably not, QoL updates and bug fixes are minimal priority for gearbox
balls is a lot easier to use than rising fist
Yeah I use balls
Mainly meant the primary and ults
Palm is OK but meditate is super jank
its a quicktime event to explode
I do it fast but it feels really short ranged
And it halts your momentum even if its just for a little bit
useful for air stalling in some cases
Thats primarily what i use it for yeah
But nothing beats ion surge with the toggle Jetpack setting for arti in terms of jank
Its basically mandatory to go hold
Yeah I meant that if you have toggle enabled in settings you can't pop Jetpack right after surge. You have to wait
With hold it feels amazing
But i would be sacrificing my thumb just to play arti
kinda wonder why they didn't just make ion surge end with hover active anyway
If only
Dunno if there are official suggestion forums but if there are this should be there
i mean we got #ror2-feedback-and-ideas but it is dubious if gearbox has the devs look at any of it
is it possible to go to the prime meridian more than once per run? we went at the start but forgot the halcyon seed so we kept going, we're on stage 20 now and havent seen a single green portal, only gold
no
once you kill false son, you get locked out of the path of the colossus (green portal stages) for the rest of the run
Is that true?
I think I’ve looped before and killed false son twice
It was bugged for a bit near the beginning and maybe one patch into the fixes
are you allowed to tell me what mods or nah?
mods arent against the rules lol
It's definitely allowed, I just don't know the name of the mod off the top of my head, it's not one i use i just know it exists
TooManyFriends
Thank you
How do you obliterate yourslef at the obleisk?
loop back to stage 3 environment and go through the celestial portal that spawns after teleporter completion
huh
i do
how my username is red very cool my favorite color
can you explain in more basic terms since im pretty new to the game
so you lopp, right? and then what?
On stage 8, a different color portal will automatically appear when you finish the teleporter event
you just looks and play as normal until you get to one of the stage 3 environments
oh ok ill try to do that
theres no real prerequesite except getting there
darn it i died ill try agai9n
how to run hermits off map, no glue no borax. (I swear this achievement makes me want to cry)
loop and go to titanic plains, try to avoid anything that can kill something unintentionally like drones, tesla coil, little disciple, massive aoes or long proc chains, etc. spend a little bit of time just running around the stage killing anything that isnt a hermit crab, don't try to run them off yet. Start and finish teleporter event so other enemies will stop spawning and kill all non-hermit crab enemies. you should be left with a lot of hermit crabs just sitting there around the map trying to snipe you, and you can take your time chasing them off the stage. if there weren't enough, loop again and repeat. using command makes it a lot easier to avoid anything that could accidentally kill a hermit crab while still being strong enough to not get killed
I did it and got this class
so cool I love magical swords
Can’t wait to hear your questions about him

When I see a masculine character I can project myself onto I click

Merc probably has the highest skill ceiling just so you know
is there a limit to how many times you can get the halcoynne Shrine reward
also the highest skill floor i would say
it isn't that much higher than other survivors but it is higher
In order to get the quest for the rifle done do I just have to kill an enemy with wipe out 15 times or do it while a skill is on cool down
nah, just kill 15 enemies with lights out, it resets its own cooldown
the only thing that'll break the streak is using lights out and not killing an enemy with it
...nnnnnnah...
is it better to have eviscerate or the other one for merc?
preference, they're both good
I'm trying to find the halcyon shrine in stage 6, is it a guaranteed spawn?
No
yes it is?
A bit late, but wanna just say, to see if a halcyon shrine spawned when you enter stage 1, 6, whatever, just look at chat to see "you hear a thunder rumbling". If you see it, there is a shrine somewhere. If not, then the game said "fuck you" and decided not to spawn it. It is not guaranteed, but very common
Wait couldn't it also say a gold orb appears if that shrine has a halcyonite portal or no?
Yes. I am pretty sure. As it would say things like "green portal appears" if you beat halcyon shrine even if teleporter isnt done.
