multipliers are always* applied at the very end of the damage calculation, after proc damage has been calculated. When the proc actually hits, they're checked again and the bonus only applies if the condition is still met

those are the characters where you can scrap base damage procs and usually confidently say it's a good idea

It seems to be a common issue for some people atm. If you're on steam then an easy place to start is disabling crossplay, as well as your VPN if you're using one, but other than that I don't know if there's a fix

most fodder enemies become irrelivant and you can eradicate them with one slam
tankier/deadlier enemies are still a problem tho, elite elder lemurians, elite brass contraptions, mithrix, false son, voidling, etc, can still blast through your hp even with you being as tanky as you are
try to keep a steady stack of lunar ruin building on high priority targets for the additional damage, furthermore use/preserve spikes depending on which stats from lunar tampering you value more in your situation
slam is better for most of the game but just normal swinging does better single target dps

the SotS final boss is leagues better though, it's difficult and kinda janky but still the most fun final boss in the game by far imo. (And the SotV boss is garbage)

so i was having trouble getting the logbooks for the loop stages (viscous, impact, dieback) and a quick discord search tells me they are bugged and do not spawn

they're kinda just sidegrades

spiked fist not being able to use wisps and stuff as grapple points is a downside, and the fact that it does damage can sometimes waste the bonus from crowbar

thunder gauntlet is easier to use and works well if you like playing her as a brawler, but generally charged gauntlet has more damage potential

and thunderslam is just kinda okay, it has some tech with charged gauntlet and is another good ability for brawling, but pylon also has good movement tech and is handy for clearing out trash mobs

from what ive heard and tested myself steam input fucks up controller mappings

you can get around this by disabling it altogether or mapping your controller with keyboard controls

For some people the solution on the steam forum thread "Steam Controller doesn't work" have worked. But again some others have reported this didnt work for them

For me luckily disabling anything from the steam input part was enough

which doesn't matter too much if you're running the typical focused + swinds mid-range-esque playstyle but if you play more aggressively then it does allow you to do a bit more damage

Boosted Dice will launch cleavers all around you, which go out and then come back
Boosted Sear will launch 3 balls of fire and the main fire will be stronger
Boosted Ice Box will launch a big cube that will instantly freeze whatever it hits in a small area
Boosted Roll makes CHEF spin his arms around while rolling, making enemies he comes in contact with bleed
Boosted Oil Spill will spill oil that’s already ignited/frozen

More likely than not, you’re only gonna really boost Dice or Ice Box
