well, the achievement IS called 'mastery'
but it's not as bad as it seems, you can basically use the same strats you'd use on rainstorm, the game is just less lenient
full loot stages as efficiently as you can and try not to get hit
you can also obliterate yourself at the obelisk instead of beating mithrix, which is in my opinion easier

their sun attack can be pretty dangerous, but yeah, they're pretty easy other than that
they're more like an environmental hazard than a boss (which is true of most bosses in ror2 tbf)
The attack where they raise a sun above their head is countered by getting out of its LoS

yes, difficulty scales pretty much infinitely
enemy level caps at 99 but the game will still spawn stronger enemies in larger numbers

how do melee survivors deal with Alloy Worship Unit? so far he's ended most of my False Son and recent Acrid runs
A good tip for acrid is applying poison while AWU has its shield up so poison scales off the shield scaled max HP
most melee survivors have enough mobility to get on top of it and attack it that way, and/or keep circling around it
it fires projectiles out of its eye, so as long as you aren't directly in front of it, it shouldn't be able to hit you

Everytime i pick him i end up feeling weak asf
abuse lunar ruin as much as possible, spam charged club, use special for ranged damage and recovering m2 charges. Don't forget that the default special needs to be charged for full damage
pretty much every type of item is good on him as well, and lunar ruin has a bug that lets proc effects double dip on its damage bonus, so procs are even stronger than normal
items that give max hp are also nice to get because of his growth passive, especially %health buffs like pearls or growth nectar
Also don't forget that lunar ruin has bleed/refresh stacking
So applying a new stack refreshes the duration of every stack

There's a bug-left-in-the-game-for-convenience where hitting a boss on the first frame it spawns makes the game forget it's a boss
Usually only used for mithrix phase 4 but it can be used for the tp if you can accurately guess where the boss will spawn

This is most likely not a bug at all. That stage has a cave when it is night just under were you are in that screenshot. The boss will be there
This also happens in the sulfur pools stage, the TP area is a sphere, so bosses can spawn above an under the plane where the TP is

The command helped me out during some simulacrum runs when the enemies would just phase through buildings and stuff
Some got bugged and didnt even die to like fall damage it was very weird
wouldnt it not matter on simu since enemies would just die to the fog eventually

How good is laser scope? (Basically how good is a extra 100% on crit)
if you have crit then sure, its an extra 50% total damage on crit
if you don't have decent crit chance then it's pretty bad and generally worse than the +60% total damage from behemoth
the one major advantage of laser scope is that it synergizes with bands and crowbar while behemoth generally doesn't (and scope also stacks better)

depends on what the timer says specifically, but generally as long as you're full-looting stages and aren't wasting too much time, you'll be on a good pace. Getting at least one item per minute is a loose rule of thumb
Honestly, I wouldn't put a whole lot of stock in what the djfficulty meter says

Full-looting is the best method and you'll naturally get faster at it as you keep playing

proc items are particularly good on captain and commando because of their high volume of fire; more bullets means more chances at rolling random items for their benefit. that's why they're good in this case

10 stacks may not be 100% depending on proc coeff (cap's shotgun is 0.75 per pellet) so getting more than 10 may not be useless, but it's more than enough to stack bleed consistently
at that point you're better off going for other items that'll buff bleed indirectly, like attack speed or watches
also scrapping daggers is probably not the best idea if you're going for a bleed build, lol. Even if you do end up with more than you need
(unless you have shatterspleen + high crit, and even then it's probably better to try to get needletick)

You pull it out when needed then mostly discard it rather than trying to make full use of it for its full duration

how do you guys even play railgunner on the later stages of monsoon? its hard to get crit shots when theres a million enemies running at you..
Most people when they get used to railgunner exclusively quick scope, so you look at the crit spot before scoping in, then you scope in and fire immediately and unscope, reload, and repeat
Railgunner can struggle with crowds so prioritizing some gasoline and will o wisps helps
You can use mines for a ton of distance between you and the enemies by shooting out two mine infront of you while holding the primary fire
ive been trying to quickscope too but i miss a lot i guess i just need to practice more

Just imagine you're playing any other character in terms of aiming really, same as bandits special but you gotta press two buttons before taking the shot

There's still some kind of build or playstyle that you are following
it changes depending on the items, theres generalist items like crowbars and watches and proc stuff
i got trash printers on my run tho
no command doesnt mean no build lol

all you need to know to get better is play more and youll just get better at it
this isnt one of those games where you need to wiki warrior beforehand to learn EXCLUSIVE TIPS AND TRICKS to make it easier since most of the difficulty is just learning how things work and then learning to use them more efficiently
yea you kind of just have to play the game to get a feel for how to do things
keeping track of stage layouts is also a big thing since i know a lot of people get stuck on stage 1 looking for shit for like 15 minutes

Void Fields is extra loot, go or do not its your choice, personally i love it

Hello, when the game says “Obliterate your existence at the Monsoon,” will it count if I end the run right after beating the False Son (at the obelisk where you offer an item)? Or do I have to actually take the Celestial Portal?
beating False Son does count for mastery skins, yeah
the phrasing on that unlock is weird, all you have to do is win a run on monsoon difficulty, regardless of which ending you get
Omg i’m so dumb. I’ve been trying for a week to beat the False Son and then go on to defeat Mithrix in the same run to unlock both skins for every character. But I keep failing for various reasons and always end up dying to one of the two bosses.

they consume lunar items and give you a pearl, with 20% chance of an irradiant pearl
they're also pretty rare and won't spawn at all with artifact of command active, they're most common on aphelian santuary and treeborn colony iirc
but if i prefer playing alone what dlc should i buy
both are worth getting, but get SotV first imo

personal preference
meditate has a free revive when you get full tranquility but palm blast has more damage potential
meditate also has awesome healing and gives the revive to teammates
I thought she gets the revive as long as she has Max tranquility and I've never used the palm before
palm blast doesn't give saving grace
which also means you don't get the stat buffs that saving grace normally gives
the revive is meditate only

people generally say stationary is better but neither are bad
it's basically just do you want turrets that you have to upkeep more but never die or ones that can follow you and use genloop
both are fine, but sentry is kinda just objectively better, lowkey.
it has better DPS and procs, and even though it can't move, the walking ones kinda kamikaze anyways because they insist on hugging the guys they're trying to shoot
if you use the wall clip cheese stationary are better
I mean stationary does have more consistent procs but if you math it out both turrets are almost identical in terms of damage and procs per second

Flurry's . 7 proc means bleed will go away quicker than normal. But I mean if you get a bunch of bleed regardless on huntress like you'll probably be fine. Can't always choose to get 6+

you don't need to know everything, just understanding some basics will take you pretty far
and there's a lot you can learn just by playing the game and paying attention to how stuff interacts. Like the fact that proc items can proc each other, increasing their damage output exponentially in some cases

Proc chains are quite cool once you get enough on-hit items
if you just want a fairly low-effort build that works consistently, proc chains are one of the best options, just get as many different proc effects as you can and stack them, throwing in multipliers like crit or

but if you do want to actively get better at the game then yeah, turning off command is a good idea. It's good for trying out items and practicing, but playing without it forces you to experiment and find synergies on your own
