• desperado is better, you dont really need to reset your cooldowns when theyre already pretty short
• blast is meh, i guess its a little better at long range taps but the shotgun is usually stronger and can deal pretty crazy damage from behind
• knives dont really matter that much, the main reason youll probably use them is to cancel fall damage which they both do the same

theres also a 5% chance a blue portal spawns on its own

for future reference, the geodes cleanse debuffs and give you barrier, so yeah, you should crack them. You also get a reward if you crack all of the geodes on the climb up to the arena

the best way to get to gilded coast is actually through the bazaar, there's a decently high chance it'll appear as an option in lunar seers

the bazaar also has 3 geodes hidden in semi-random spots that you can break for a guaranteed green portal if you're on a valid stage for it, in case you don't get one in gilded coast

you can activate the trigger and walk back to stay further away from mithrix, or run as close to mithrix as possible if you want to for whatever reason

I really don't like alternative routes. I feel like they remove a big random aspect of the game (you choose which road to take and you already know every stages that are to come).
I hope there's not as much of these in the next DLC. :(

But you didn't have many attacks that would easily reach him from that distance, so what you could've done was run up to him and hugged his back, and kept circling him so he can't turn to hit you. It's tricky but it works

it’s hard to play around his weaknesses like him not benefitting from healing items the mediocre mobility and the need to time his corruption to get value out of it

idk if my playstyle is wrong or what but im struggling on exclipses right now

instead of trying to time it, you should use your special to try to hover around ~75% corruption when in uncorrupt form. That way you can go corrupt pretty quickly if you need to, and you always have a heal available

it's also safe to take for healing since regen doesn't affect corruption, and can give you a way to heal while corrupted. You gain 2% corruption every time you crit, which will pretty much always outweigh the flat healing from scythe so long as you don't stack it too much

you're thinking of corpsebloom, e5 applies to corpsebloom twice so it gets completely ruined

rejuv rack effectively just cancels out e5 (including the double corpsebloom thing, because rejuv ALSO applies to corpsebloom twice)

if you haven't tried it yet, try manually deleting the game files through windows (don't uninstall with steam), then reinstall.
That seems to occasionally fix things that verifying files will miss

iirc he only uses 20 items from your stash, though, and also some items are blacklisted for enemies to use

also he doesn't take your equipment. So, get a damaging equip like royal cap or disposable missile launcher, hide behind a pillar, and activate the equip enough times to get your items back
