there's a reason the fight is getting reworked in the next patch

cover does work if he's further away from you, but if he's right on top of you when he uses the laser or there are bunch of golems behind the pillar, you just have to hope for the best

the fight is at least way easier if you're looping, he doesn't have adaptive armor like other final bosses so he's super squishy later on and you can kinda just shred him. Only annoying part is that halcyon shrines become a lot rarer after stage 1

or just get war bonds and let that take care of him lol, take advantage of it before it gets nerfed

i usually build just like aiming for proc stuff and some health

but ive been abusing the broken laser scaling lol. i guess if you havent its worth trying before they patch it, the tldr is that it adds the attack speed bonus every time you use it and never resets (including between runs). so if you get some attack speed, try to have the speed from his spikes up, and spam the laser off cooldown even if nothing is nearby, the tickrate becomes absurdly fast

it also doesn't increase the max amount of stored healing, it's always capped at one healthbar worth of hp. So storing more health doesn't really even help, you just hit the cap faster while healing slower

10%/s already makes it situational and makes it scale badly in looping runs, stacking it down to 5%/s makes it really really rough. it also makes it significantly easier to overkill the healing input, since it fills easier but drains slower

with 5%/s output and 3x input, you only need to heal 1.7% hp per sec on average to completely max its throughput and anymore healing above that is wasted.

if you dont have much healing and are going to go to a final boss instead of looping much it can be good augmentation on your heals

but if you plan to loop its not super tough to get more healing and overcap its heal rate, in which case youd possibly have been better without (though even early into outpacing if your healing is inconsistent it still spreads it out)

you could always hunt for a cleansing pool if you loop, if you dont take other lunars it would be consistent to remove.

if you have rejuv rack it can be really funny because they double dip, 2x rejuv, 4x into bloom, and when it heals back out rejuv again for 8x total healing with one of each item haha

corpsebloom is basically a healing equalizer, you won't have amazing healing with it (without rejuv rack) but you'll never really have bad healing either.

it's like a softer version of transcendence, it cuts down on the amount of healing items you need but doesn't totally remove the ability to healtank

The only way to do it is with a mod, if you're on pc. If not then there's no way to replay seeds

I’m having a really odd time with Bandit, I find it hard to get any good healing items that work with him, I’ve tried using infusions, harvesters scythes and some leeching seeds and none of it seems to help me out too much, by mid-late game I’m busted with the damage but I feel like I have made little no progress on making sure I actually stay alive (Also yes I’m on Monsoon, I know there’s the regen debuff, I could also just be bad)

yea esp on e8 where damage results in permanent health loss... if you can get the incoming low enough it wont apply curse lol

but yea armor is very good, opal is pseudo safer and safer negates a hit every now and again, rap is flat -5 so really helps push dots like burn towards the low/no permanent health loss

Fuel array is viably funny on engineer, as you turn the turrets into kamikaze machines

Still need to be careful and it damages allies now so don't let them blow you up. Elixir is decent because it won't go off if they die, and the 25%/50% gap is enough if won't stop it to begin with usually

Loader is usually the easiest character for it, she's fast and tanky enough to make it to stage 4 without much issue.
Or if you've got a friend you can cheese it as mul-t with retool, since it won't explode if it's in his off-hand. But you need to take it from another player's pod since he doesn't spawn with one

oh yeah, and if you've got lunar coins to spare, you can go to the bazaar from stage 3 and use lunar seers to help get abyssal depths

no, the 7th one just gives you a different buff (the golden flower) instead of adding a 7th stack to the white flower buff
