When I am playing with friends (or just in voice chat), I'll hold off on a few items depending on which teammates I got.

Bungus is the obvious one, but I'll also avoid Crowbars and Bands if I'm running someone who can't or can only barely proc them, whereas I'll hold off on Bleed and other proc items if I'm using Bandit or Rebar MUL-T
