For this game I think balanced should come from a place of above average skill.

this is very true. i really like playing commando, and i think this is also why. however, i also notice a lot of people find commando boring and uninteresting (and he can be a little simple)

i think that it would be nice if every survivor was roughly similarly matched in attack, with long time between high hits, but i wonder if that hurts the feel of the character in a way (talking mostly about railgunner here because imo loader should get her kit a bit more evened out so i dont feel like just using m2 and utility, but maybe i havent learned all of the loader nuance lol).
