Bandit has a very strong kit, with arguably one of the best Utilities in the game due to both offering great mobility and safety past that, all while doing AoE damage twice. Backstab is guaranteed crits, meaning he far more immediately benefits from items such as Scythe and Shatterspleen, and his knife/shiv attacks do heavy damage via ...Exsanguinate or whatever it was called.

If I had to guess, he's using the recoil of the Nailgun's burst alongside the speed increase of Transport Mode. The recoil, especially when from Power Mode, is enough to move MUL-T upwards slightly when aimed downward
