The problem i see with overwatch is the characters are made to fit a specific role which makes them very one dimensional and doesnt allow for a lot of creativity in how you use a certain character like a tank will always be a tank which is why i think paladins has better character design philosophy (helped with the deck system) since it allows for a lot more variety though paladins has its own problems

Yea I don't think i mind the slower pace. I used to enjoy R6S quite a bit. Its more the static, precision aim focused combat that I'm not a fan of. Its too optimised.
You can still walk around and lean in R6S and its a constant puzzle of shooting around/through walls while not getting shot yourself. Its like the shooter genre is used to mask a more complex strategy game. Csgo just doesn't do that for me
