but I really don't think the poison is actually critting, it's a result of the "hit" triggering the poison critting imo
and I guess there are "fake" hits to trigger the sludge's poison or something?
without looking at the code I'm just throwing out wild guesses

noticed it trying to test it on multiple enemies, one randomly had double damage
So the Poison effect of the primary acts like %TOTAL

And Sludge is some cursed thing that can be affected by crits, and only crits???
if toxin is applied AFTER the poison is applied, the damage doesn't go up, only if toxin is applied before

Well I think best would be general tips/strategy for each trial even if they are mostly straight foward
this isn't about trials this is about achievements
Oh well they can also have some tips to unlock
like, what do we even say about i.e. "defeat 20 lemurians" or "die 50 times". also all of the trial ones are just repeats for what the trial page already has
either go the RoR2 wiki way or nothing I guess
any tips can go on the page for what it unlocks, there's a few items that already have notes about unlocking it
Could add "simple" challenges page for ones that are self explanotory(spelling?) but some of them honestly would be nice to have tips for (mostly the Multikill ones, ones where you need to kill/get Specific things)
Tho it isn't detrimental to have same info on both pages (Unlock item/Ability tips on item and its challenge page)

I think these enemy animations came from game files, not hand crafted, so they were easy to extract for the wiki. The ability animations that are on the wiki now are hand-crafted, and changing the background and adding borders for them would take ages.

i golded "a fresh harvest" but on my first attempt i was getting bombarded with brambles and evolved lemurians on top of the golems and lemurians, but on my second attempt there was zero brambles and the evolved lemurians stopped after a bit
curious to know if boss music is randomly selected or is it stage dependent? The wiki on "soundtrack" details when all of the stage music plays, but all of the boss tracks are just listed as "Teleporter Event" except for the stage 5 and prov fight.

If you have low health, below 32 at the start for huntress, after a while it quickly regens back to 32. can't find anything about this on the wiki, is it difficulty related?

its really weird that it does that, all I know for doing this wiki stuff is by looking at how other pages are done and copying it so idk how to fix it, but if someone does know I'm willing to go through and fix it all I just don't know how.
I think it's an issue with hoverovers and the rorr wiki does have functioning hoverovers with SkillLink and ItemLink templates so we might be able to just copy some stuff from there to fix it?

the part where it says that it does x2 dmg was not 100% false, it just didn't mention that you have to hold the gun and wait for the ability to go on cooldown while holding the gun (and yes when that happens the gun does fire both shots without pressing the button again but it does shoot it slower compared to the scepter version of lights out (Assassinate) )
tried to do the same thing with lights out too and yet it doesn't work at all
did a test again without the amethyst so i can confirm that this is a scepter upgrade
small update: from the second test above i did had to press the button again for the second shot but when i found out about this by accident during my run i did had some attack speed items so probably thats why the gun just shot 2 times without me having to press the button 2 times
so.. it doesn't auto shoot the second shot without attack speed?

yeah, the way these work is, they're loaded into the page at all times, but only displayed once you hover the relevant text

the problem is the graphic shows them as glowing orbs which are also used in the crab graphic so it gets a bit messy comparing them to others

I think Robomando should be put on the survivors page of Risk of Rain Returns. I personally think it's silly to be hiding "secret" information on a wiki when people use wikis specifically to know about stuff. The page was locked in November 28, 2023 anyway.
I disagree. I think it's better to avoid placing spoilers for something a player could potentially find themselves on one of the more popular, common-use pages
statistically, most people venturing to the Survivors page are not going there to look for secrets. so if Robomando is there, front and center, it spoils the secret for everyone that visits

those bits are mainly used for artifacts, prisms and logs. (in saying that yea alot of them are very rough and need work) robo is kinda considered THE big secret of this game so its a bit of a special case
I'd posit that those aren't really secrets in the way robomando is, and would probably better fit under a label like "unlockables"
a lot of the artifacts are just kinda sitting there. some of them are "secret" in that you need to do something specific to unlock them, but none of them require the kind of digging rm does

"shield tackle" can give an extra jump if you fall while using it. the extra jump can be used during or after the animation but goes away after hitting the ground. it does not give an extra jump if "shield tackle" is cast in the air. idk how much info should be put on the wiki about this or how it should be worded (unless i should just put all of this on the wiki)

I take a bit of issue with the way this is phrased on Providence's page. I feel like this should be either rephrased or removed altogether for a couple of reasons
- I am unsure what about Providence's log suggests that the name was "beamed into [the survivor's] head." the way the log is phrased seems to suggest it is a name the survivor either came up with on their own, or learned through some other means. it being beamed into their head suggests a supernatural method for obtaining the knowledge, which is not suggested at all in the log.
- I would argue that Providence's true name being Providence is not speculative. Other characters using honorifics to refer to him does not obfuscate his actual name. Furthermore, saying that other logs call him Providence "for consistency" feels like a stretch. Beads of Fealty's log is written in first person from the perspective of an inhabitant of Petrichor V, and calls him Providence. I would put forward that this is quite definitive proof that that is his name.

IIRC that damage is listed based on number of hits from the animation and the damage of the effect, another page should list those. Check the effects tab, I think it's called. Been months since I looked at though.

Yup, that's intentional.
Just got home and double checked. So chakrams and DICE are weird, because they hit each target twice with only the first of all hits incurring procs. The 90% is meant to be from 2 x 45% damage, though technically only one of those should benefit from procs. The calculator will slightly overestimate proc bonuses for those moves as a result, but fixing it would be too much work.
I could probably just change the way their proc damage is calculated ("Yellow" in piercing type)
It's like DICE for the normal damage, but with 5 additional hits at the apex that deal no direct damage but inflict burn

it appears the engy can only stand on default turrets but not the laser ones
Eviscerate's inv period lasts for 0.999 seconds
however, the inv period shortens as you gain attack speed
each blinding assault's inv period lasts 0.466 seconds
it's inv period also decreases as you gain attack speed
skyward assault's inv period is variable
you'll get more inv time the longer you wait to slam to the ground
having more attack speed shortens the invul period of all of merc's skills that give invul periods (both utilities and eviscerate)
commando's tactical dive has 0.45 seconds of invul
however, it's invul period is not affected by attack speed

Drill Dash deals 150% damage every 0.25 seconds while drilling in place. From maximum heat, it will deal a maximum of 1050% damage.
miner's skills that give invul time are also affected by attack speed
Drill charge gives 0.550 sec of invul
Backblast gives 0.716 sec of invul
Drill dash's invul time is variable. It only makes you invincible while you are hitting an enemy so using this skill directly on top of an enemy will yield the most invul time. The best I've gotten was 0.282 sec.

This scales with attack speed. For example, I managed to deal 1200% damage from max heat with 2 soldier's syringes.
Sniper's Military Training gives 0.616 sec of invul and is not affected by atk speed
Dissolving Ambush gives 0.450 sec of invul during the spit attack and 0.850 sec during the warp. It's invul periods are shortened with more attack speed.
Pilot's Aerobatics gives 0.216 sec of invul
Robomando's EVASIVE MANEUVER gives 0.365 sec
Neither are affected by attack speed
Temporary items last for 80 seconds

It’s talking about skills, all of REX’s skills damage and heal by percentages, (damage takes percentage of current health, heal gains percentage of max health). Since a lot of item healing sources are flat or very slow scaling, healing is actually less of a priority on REX than most other survivors, because your skills will almost always heal up what you are missing.

does anyone perhaps know how to locate each stage's interactable credits and/or enemy/interactable pools in RoR2? i was hoping to find Verdant Falls' credits, but was unable to after countless hours or years of scouring the internet and game files
if you use debug toolkit it lists stage credit on spawn

Verdant Falls is a vibrant region of Petrichor V populated with giant flowers and waterfalls, and is one of the initial environments encountered in Risk of Rain 2.
i'm 99% sure some of this is inaccurate/missing information (interactable/enemy list especially) but it's a start

hihi! I extracted all of the RoRR drone files and compiled them here next to a gif version cuz I noticed the wiki had no files on any of these, hope it can be helpful; it includes every drone except player ones (all tiers, gilded, and the special ones)

something tiny i just noticed with the gold drones in the lang file, the attack and med drones are "Guilded" but the beam, rocket, blaze are "Gilded"
So idk if that was originally the hint for the tiers or just a coincidence misspelling
found a reddit post abt the lang post having this: FIRE A DRONE FOR 190% DAMAGE WHILE ALSO LOWERING EQUIPMENT COOLDOWNS AND EXTENDING OVERCLOCK DURATION. GAIN DRONES BY KILLING ENEMIES so it's probably that
according to it it's called a "VENT" drone
doubt that'd be its final name tho cuz BLAST is named BULLET in the files

eeeeeaa yea but idk, Iwas thinking of just adding a subsection in the upgrades section for each gilded drone cuz they're p much the same as tier 2 just with a few stats altared and a new paintjob
