my friends spammed stopwatches in co-op, and the direseeker in magma barracks failed to spawn
he spawns when interacting with the console, and the wyrms also spawned, but then phase 2 didn't do anything for a good 5 minutes
at which point he immediately died because engi alt turret silly
that is definitely not intended, even if it's not a bug

i have contributed one (1) singular edit which was swapping drifter and pilot in the survivor list to make it more accurate to the game

getting artifact of origin is hard af, mostly because the combo of glass, honor, spite, and kin makes it hell on bosses (the others don't matter as much)
glass makes the game easier though
not when you have 30 hp, and the boss spawns 50 enemies and each drops a crapload of bombs on death
you also have command. spite bombs detonate only on ground, just loop a few times, get a bunch of vertical mobility, and remain in the air whenever something dies

Evolved Lemurian can both aerial slash and bite you while grounded I believe? Lemurian Cavalry has a bunch of different moves too
and then for the white acrid prism skin, and the prism skin for merc, I think both are on all variants of contact light

In this video I cover the secret prismatic skins hidden around risk of rain returns. These only spawn on certain stage variants and can be a bit of a pain to find. I recommend playing with the command artifact to pick mobility items and playing on drizzle difficulty so you can safely ignore the clock.

The Artifact of Command turns all item drops into an item selection box that has a list of all items of the same rarity that the player can pick from. Note that you can only pick from items you have unlocked. This does not work on 3 item shops or temp item shops.

Artifacts are unlockable modifiers that alter some aspect of gameplay. Most Artifacts can be found in hidden passages throughout stages. Once an Artifact is unlocked, the player can enable it at the start of a new run.

I don't think anyone planned it, but it probably wouldn't be disliked
every contributor is doing their work at their own pace, large pages that require additional effort like artifacts and trials will be added later once we get the bare minimum pages down

Lemurian's log says that their top speed is 22 km/h, which can be converted to 6.11 m/s. I recorded their movement at 60 fps and took 2 snapshots:
- First at 00:13.916 (835th frame of the video),
- Second at t00:14.916 (895th frame)
The first shows the lemurian in its 1st frame of animation, while it is in its 5h frame in the second. If the wiki has the animation aligned correctly, then this just means that I can use their nose to measure how much they have moved.
The answer is ~129 pixels (not including the error margin because forgot). This should mean that their speed is somewhere between 2 and 3 pixels per second.
I was either formatting for readability, fixing typos, or fact checking myself in the counting department. lol
2-3 pixels per second is unfortunately a WIDE margin for error
and we'd have a reliable way to measure distances and speed in this game

While having a decimal value for your coordinates is not impossible, having no proper workaround for it in GameMaker will cause your character to look like as if it's trying to phase between dimension.

Because in Original, Hermit's Scarf gave 10% originally and +5% each item, maxing out at 35%... while wiki says it gives +10% each and no cap.
Items are the main building block of RoRR. They are the method through which survivors are able to gain power throughout a run. Items are split into 5 tiers, Common, Uncommon, Legendary/Rare, Boss/Planet, and Special.

My issue with this code is that they could have just save who the owner of the damage was then use their stats by referencing them, but instead they just simply copied the stats one by one to it.
It was their first game tho, and this is also something I also used to do.

Hm... It seems that the volatile elite rockets have their own targeting logic.
A volatile lemurian was chasing me, but the rocket decided to target my ice pillar.
So now those strangely arced missiles make sense too, since those were hitting me instead of my pillar.
This should be good mention on the monsters page.

(That is for the original game, not the remake.)
Older GameMaker Studio versions and stuff were already figured out, so you can read their data.win, which contains most, if not all, assets of the games. If you are just like me and a dummy about the process itself, you can just use tools that are already available. The most popular one that I know of is UndertaleModTools, and it works like magic.

By the way, I did my testings and Classified Access Codes seems to be calculated in a way guillotine in RoR2.
40% is flat.
4 stack could deal 100%, but it deals around 70%
5 stack + was similar in that regard
it caps at 4 stacks dealing a max of 80%
im like at least 90% sure on that
its 40% +20% per stack (linear stacking)
and getting more than 4 (80%) appears to do nothing, so thats the conclusion i've come to
based on naught but baseline observations so of course feel free to dispute or disprove until we have a more concrete way of digging into caps and stacking methods within the code :)

The issue with the remake is that it was compiled with YYC, which converts the code from GML to something else that is faster (it was claimed to be C++, but now they say it's machine code, so dunno?). Because of that, you can only browse its assets.
If we want to read code, we would need to do the good old reverse engineering the hard way.

The best tip I can give is focus on moving, rather than hitting. Flame chakrams are not that bad for DPS, but their unreliability is what breaks it on top of enemies wanting to move. You are not a DPS character. You do a rotation then proceed to survive until the next.
Only use chakrams when it's free during kiting or between your skills.

Some of the discoveries we gathered:
- Drifter's
Scrap Cubehas taunt properties, similar to Artificer'sFrost Barrier, although, with significantly less health. - We already know that you can't use
Frost Barrieras a platform, but we also could not manage to spawn it on top ofScrap Cube. We did not test this properly tho. - Tuber's can come out of the ground to specifically target those stuff too.
- Spitter's attacks pierces, even though
Frost Barrier. Did not manage to checkScrap Cube, but probably safe to assume? - Spitters also seem to have a more limited angle to shoot sometimes.
- Volatile elite missiles acquire targets on their own. They don't care who the firing monster is targeting at the time.
- Additionally, the rockets can target
Scrap CubeandFrost Barrier, but the targeting seems to be random and not even guaranteed to be those. No player safety guaranteed. - The discharge of overloading elites can bounce. We don't know how many targets.
- The bounce can happen on both
Scrap CubeandFrost Barriertoo, resulting in some unfortunate events when unprepared. - Arms Race empowers Back-Up drones as well.
- Back-Up drones cannot be scrapped (this was just sanity checked).
- Stopping time also stops taking damage from lava. Don't know about fire on the ground, but I do know that their timer is not stopped and will go out.
Not sure if worth mentioning, but taking mountain shrine with artifact of honor will end up ruining your run right at the first stage with 2 overloading magma worms. Would do it again.
