Especially in light of endless modes, I had to just end a run because I was failing events due to being just... unable to see the ground triggers at all through my own skill effects.

We need a way to make them more transparent, or make enemy and event triggers show through them more prominently.

Soulstone Survivors answered this a long time ago: There's a transparency slider for player skills from 0-100 that can be adjusted at any time with the pause menu.

This game would really benefit from this feature.

i'm gonna add this here as it seems similar to what i have to say: I'm playing quickly Venx to unlock a few thingy as i left the game for a bit since i had everything unlocked. So i'm playing Venx and the balls that you spawn are nice and cute, but in the Poison rain event, you can't even see the red circles. And at some point, you have so many balls on the floor that you can't even have any "non-used" space to just see things
