Currently playing on PS5. The issue does not occur after EVERY battle, but after several battles, the game will softlock in a black screen when a battle is finished. (Not sure if win/loss condition matters but these soft locks have occurred after wins).

It is possible if you have been interacting with the event flags, it may cause other problems in the game. Tell me if you don't see any possible relation with this and the problems you've had

No crashes as of the last two days. Seems whatever it was has been ironed out. I do think it had something to do with the pride event flags. Thanks and feel free to close this out. Loving the game!
