nano enhancements are like enchant creature in magic if youve played
they go on a character and change some aspect of that character
so the one currently named natural armour, when it goes on a character, instead of whatever types that character would normally have, it has all character types
gryphon for example is Support
Ohh okay
If Natural Armour were played and attached to Gryphon, instead of Support, he would be Support, Creature, Soldier, and Leader
and then stuff like this cares about those

for example, Kobel attacks RF
that card would change it so he attacks Ultor instead of RF
and that is used when deciding which base a character attacks

this is the template I was thinking for actions - my thought being that characters, actions, and nano enhancements should have a similar card layout because those are the cards you will draw from the deck into your hand

I think I'd prefer purple though because Capek's nanotech shield is by far the most visible instance of nanotechnology
the nano forge was never a concept in RF1
though I mean, it would probably make sense to imagine

replaced Reactor Core with Space Station, since it matches the types of locations used for all of the other "rooms"

THought some more about it, you're totally right, return sounds better than put here. I updated all the actions, now return refers to the character being put back to a place it would have come from, and move is used otherwise (like moving forcefully moving from the barracks to the entrance of a base) Thanks! ๐

but I just remembered that I never did finish up the last like... half dozen(?) cards needed for this to be a playable project. Reopening the thread to remind myself to do that in the next few days. I'm eager to close the book on this project but I want to leave it in a playable state
from a quick scan of my project folder, I had all 48 rooms done, all 50 characters done, all 13 events done, 12/19 interrupts done, and 0/18 nano enhancements done. So 25 cards left to go. Shouldn't be a huge lift within a few weeks
and the rulebook is effectively done, pending some editing
Or rather, the information in the rulebook is accurate, and chatgpt will take it and put it in the correct format for me
