im strugglng to set up alerts to be sent in discord using webhooks from trading view

so im currently trying to setup fvg alerts, i have set up the webhook on alpha website and have my fvg indicator i set up an alert on TV and when it triggers nothing happens in the discord channel

I assume you have put alpha’s webhook url into the webhook field in alert settings on TV?

What are you sending as the message currently when the alert triggers?

so i have just tried this wiith an order block instead with a message chat gbt gave me and i got a message in the discord channel

This looks mostly good, all you’re missing is a command field along content and embeds. The command field should be everything you’d put after /layout, eg layout_name ticker

ok im not sure why the fvg indicator wasnt working at all it just had the normal message. i did send u a dm of what im looking for i didnt want to post it in here

Yeah so as I said, you’re missing the command field. In other words, alpha receives a request, but doesn’t know what chart to show you as that’s not something that is sent by TV automatically

not sure how i do that? also the pic i sent you is that only possible if i have the 40$ sub?

should i be using this instead of webhooks from tv? i assume u get the fvgs and obs with the $40 sub?
