I think the level is to dark and isnt to based on a city theme. To make it brighter i would probably add a bit more glow to the level to make it more bright and make it have buildings in the background to make it more themed on a monochrome city.

is adding more glow a good solution though...?

celest chasm
#

probably idk

queen lynx
#

plenty of glow here already imo

celest chasm
#

o

queen lynx
#

maybe it could have been worded differently like making it brighter or adding more contrast

celest chasm
#

yeah

queen lynx
#

but adding even more glow wouldn't really fix that much

celest chasm
#

he has "To make it brighter " so i think yeah

#

idk

queen lynx
#

eh it's close enough and passed already anyway

#

"## What are the biggest 2-3 issues with this level (given the creator’s goal)?

  1. There are too many flashing elements. These flashes add little to the level's overall look and causes eye strain.
  2. A lot of supposed background objects (diamonds, blocks) fuse into the foreground, and supposed foreground objects (floating spikes) blend into the background. This makes identifying obstacles difficult
  3. Orbs are placed directly on top of portals. Players may click them before switching gravity and die unfairly.

How would you solve these issues?

  1. Make objects have a longer flash interval, and remove it from places accessible in gameplay.
  2. Foreground objects should be brighter, while background objects should be very dark. If the object should flash, make sure it flashes to a dim gray.
  3. Shift the orbs slightly over or under the portals to reduce chances of early clicks."
