is adding more glow a good solution though...?
plenty of glow here already imo
o
maybe it could have been worded differently like making it brighter or adding more contrast
yeah
but adding even more glow wouldn't really fix that much
yeah
I will keep that in mind in future
okay
wait let me show you something
"## What are the biggest 2-3 issues with this level (given the creator’s goal)?
- There are too many flashing elements. These flashes add little to the level's overall look and causes eye strain.
- A lot of supposed background objects (diamonds, blocks) fuse into the foreground, and supposed foreground objects (floating spikes) blend into the background. This makes identifying obstacles difficult
- Orbs are placed directly on top of portals. Players may click them before switching gravity and die unfairly.
How would you solve these issues?
- Make objects have a longer flash interval, and remove it from places accessible in gameplay.
- Foreground objects should be brighter, while background objects should be very dark. If the object should flash, make sure it flashes to a dim gray.
- Shift the orbs slightly over or under the portals to reduce chances of early clicks."
this is the same exercise but more organized
💔
Alright
could literally spend like 5 mins organizing
-# next time tho
wish more people organized their exercises, it's not like it's mandatory but makes it much easier to grade
yeah
