I decided to go for ball for the slow beginning, and have a cube part for the quick inputs, before doing a quick transition into a wave portal, where the level would continue from if it were to continue
(ID is at the end of the video)

I chose normal speed as it’s the beginning of the song, I feel like ball and cube are the best for setting a slow starting pace for a level, the wave was there for when the drop hit right after, and I built the structuring around the gameplay after, to give a guidline for the structuring. I also prefer to build my structuring out of stereo madness blocks, (and saws if I’m using ufo) because it helps me get a sense of the bare base gameplay without any obvious secret ways. I probably should’ve added some spikes and structures around the dash orb to remove those secret ways, but I had a chiropractor appointment right after I finished the gameplay

What I suggest to improve:

  • Touch up sync, particularly in the beginning (could be excused if you use bluetooth headphones that may have delay)
  • Balance those two ball clicks (they are significantly harder than the rest which is pretty much 4*)
  • Give the structures in the cube part more shape (just extending walls above/beneath the platforms is fine)
  • Patch skips (ground spikes would help a lot)
    Time pressure isn’t a constraint, so you could’ve come back to it later after the chiro appointment

This is the second time I’ve had a prime example of “your grade depends on which teacher you got” tho last time I had to redo it like 5 times so atleast it’s only once, plus I’d rather do better than get graded based on laziness, so I’ll improve this anyways

Your a lot easier to work with than the other two I’ve gotten for my other ones, those two were polar opposites, one would tell me I was wrong and then when I re did it I was told I was supposed to do what I did the first time lol

0k, I wasnt exactly sure on the sync, but I made you enter the ball portal when there is a little woosh noise so that it kinda syncs. I nerfed the ball part with half spikes, fixed up the structring and removed any skips I could find
