I’m trying to make a rateworthy level, and I need feedback on the deco, and how I can improve it.

And if you can, tell me how I can improve the gameplay. I’m trying to go for an easy demon.

hi, i took your level quite seriously so i'm gonna make differents points, don't forget it is just my opinion and maybe other players wont say the same things as me.

at the beginning, maybe try to put some indicators to jump, because it is not instinctive and it comes fast

the real first part with cube game play is very good, the gameplay is very fun, it's rare to see a gp this well thought, very fun ! decoration is good, some things are missing but i'm gonna talk about it later

the second part in ship is a little more annoying, gameplay is not very fun, it makes me think of 1.9 levels with flappy bird inspiration, try some variations in block design, rethink the organization of blocks on the screen, try not to make gp so repetitive

this section is hard demon minimum, the 4 orbs you see are very boring to take perfectly, orbs in ship are very good idea, but try something more simple, with more space around the orbs, and make them bigger to have a bigger trigger point, as it is supposed to be an easy demon, it is too hard 🙂

for here, same idea as what i said before, and too repetitive, not fun

this part is quite good ! but it is not easy demon, if you want an easy demon, add more space around the orbs !! and be careful putting more than 3 orbs consequently, it can be not very fun to play

this part in ship is too difficult and not very fun, same reasons

for the boss in wave, the four columns with spikes arrives too late, you can maybe put indications, or move them earlier, because it is difficult to read

this section in ship is very memory and not very fun as well

this part in ufo is nice, but same reason, too difficult, more space between orbs and spikes to give a bigger margin of error, for an easy demon

this part in swing mode is too difficult for easy demon as well, add more margin of error. You can put indications to see when you have to click, because a lot of players (as me) don't control very well this mode and it can be very annoying.

do not hesitate to play many other levels from famous creators (like Bli) so you could have inspiration for gameplay ideas. But your gameplay in cube is very interesting so if you like making cube gameplays, make some more !

for the deco, you need to add more moves, but they have to come naturally in the level, not to late because it becomes unreadable, add easing, dont let the movement with "none", there are many differents easings that gives life to a level;

and add more air deco, some glow, or little effects, get inspiration from famous creators, get into their levels and analyse everything, i can think to AbstractDark, Bli, Serponge, Optical, GD Jose, Davjt, viprin, johnathanGD, Zoroa, and more...

your level is good, it needs some reworks if you want it to be rated. But there are good ideas !
