There are a lot of problems with your level, not least the fact that it's very boring. The level is relatively empty, with no background and no block design (because there are almost no blocks). What's more, the rest of the gameplay after the cube is just too repetitive without any difficulty, just a few changes of game mode and that's it. What's more, from 67% (the ship with the grey background), there are no obstacles at all, only the ground is deadly. The level becomes a little more interesting with the ball, but that's all over very quickly, and we're back to the same gameplay as in the rest of the level. So here are a few tips:
- Use background elements to fill the void.
- Try to make gameplay with platforms and orbs, and make it varied and not just "corridor" gameplay.
- To take things a step further, try to make gameplay in rhythm with the music.
For a first level, this is still very good, you seem to have already learned the basics.

should i change the difficulty to easy or should i just focus on trying to make it a 3 star?
If you want to keep most of the gameplay that you have made, change to easy, but if you think you can upgrade your gameplay, go on for the 3 stars difficulty

Hi! This level has a lot of potential to be a regular 2-3 star, but the lack of gameplay is holding it back a lot.
The main problem with your gameplay is that it lacks any sort of movement. The player is mainly static for the last half of the level, just moving in place.
There are no obstacles in many of the parts, and even simply forcing the player to move up and down through each part would upgrade this experience tremendously.
Some of the wave portal transitions are a bit janky, and the custom orbs and pads are confusing (to me at least).
Overall, this level could use more variation in its gameplay, and that would make it a pretty fun easy level! Good luck!

For you first real level, its looking pretty good so far. However i found a bunch of small things, gameplay and visuals, that i think could be improved : )
Also im gonna use alot of pictures and less text, cuz that just makes it easier to show you what im talking about.
Feedback:
I think it would be better with a colored pilar instead of a black one, so the player have an easier time seing where the hitboxes are

For the wave part i think it would improve the players expirience if you used d blocks, so that the player wont die to the transition
what does D do?
it makes blocks now kill the wave
so you can slide
good for transitions and gimmicks

I also did a few small nerfs, that i personally think will make the level more balanced, such as removing this spike in the ufo part, and nerfing this spam in the wave part.
i was trying to do a 3 star level
was that a bit too much buffing those parts?
since i first attempted it i cant rly tell, i just have just never seen that tight spam used in 3 stars, eventho i found it easy. And that one spike is the only one i removed from the ufo part. just because newer players often struggle to control the ufo

I think you can try to look into using triggers to make your level less "dead" and that is pulse/color.
Here is a video which shows the result and an image of the settings to make this trigger work, as you see, the background briefly changes color.
I also think you can nerf this part of the wave which is too difficult for a 3* level.

40-50% ufo is still a bit boring, but everything else is great
however, it's probably a 4 star now imo, so idk if that's what you wanted
awesome job though!
It improved alot holy. I still think you could make it a bit more intrsting without adding difficulty by adding a few structures without spikes in empty sections, aswell as making the colors pulse on the beat to add some life.

Bcs i was gonna ask if you could do the pulse lights for me and then see what the lvl looks like after that
I think you can try by yourself, moreover, there is some tutorial in this discord server that can teach you how to use triggers and more...Being able to change the triggers at will will be easier than asking anyone else to do it.
i know how to do it i just have trouble sometimes with pulse sync
also what do you think of the update
I think the addition of platforms makes the level less empty and boring, you're on the right way. I just think that the platforms of the first wave should have spikes because you can have the impression that you can slide on them even though there is no "D block", so you die; adding spikes would therefore be a little clearer to understand that it is dangerous.
I think I'm going to leave this post, keep asking other playtesters for advice, tbh this level has no chance of being rated (if that's what you're looking for) because it's only a level of discovery of the editor for you, so making this level can be rated is almost impossible. However, continue to learn all the basics of creation to perhaps one day have one of your levels rated.
