here's what I don't get. respectfully, why do people use the whole dabi killed 20+ to counter argument against others?
I mean irl thousands of people die but people only feel sad for a death that they know about. shouldn't it be the same case for the todorokis.
yh he killed 20+ people but then we saw more of his family and what they went through and enjis's endeavours which carry more impact.
same case with shiga, yh he killed a lot of people but we weren't emotionally attached to them. yes the phrase 'ignorance is bliss' is being applied here

though shigaraki was nurtured into it more than dabi, primarily because the intent of AFO was obviously to create a terrible hate filled person to be a vessel for his power

i think dabi had problems from the start that weren’t properly addressed by endeavor, and they progressively got worse since he was always discarded as a result of endeavor’s goals

then id assume him coming into the environment he did after he almost completely killed himself pushed him even further to the way he is now

i don’t really think either of them can truly be saved from their mindsets at this point

but exactly as hes done, he just rambled and summarized and clearly pointed out the dabi's childhood. on the other hand, i see legit little to no talk about the so called 20+ people he has killed. yes it may be ignorance but 20+ people dying dont carry as much impact as learning the abusive childhood of childrens when we have no connection to said dead people
